Checked on this one this morning to find it's yet another that has gone missing without trace. So rather than replace it, it's probably run its course anyway, so I've decided to archive it.
This is our second visit and it was a great relief to be able to cross it off. We knew what we were looking for but couldn't find it until today. TFTC
I've seen a couple of these containers before - but I would say this one is the best implemented so far! Love it! Favourite from me. Thanks MB.
Found with Mr_Roo, and Captain Tomato on our blitz 3 day visit from Canberra (and two of those days were mostly driving). This was our last day, and we decided to grab a quick few caches before heading home.

A nice little cache which was far enough away from the playground which was good. Found with Captain Tomato and Tankengine TFTC

Had to take hubby to hospital in the area and decided on a couple of caches on the way home. Knew what I was looking for here after finding one of your caches previously. Looked everywhere, in all the trees to no avail. I was just about to give up when I spied it lying on the ground. I have replaced it to where I think it may have been. Signed log and off.
Thanks Mulga Bill

Second attempt at this one and happy to say we found it.

What a innovative cache and so appropiate for your story by May Gibbs. The cache was so well executed indeed. We took a photo for our collection of innovative caches.
We will give you a fav from us for the planning and work of this cache, Mulga Bill - well done!

What a genius cache. Really great container. I went at night with mr mun , who had trouble spotting it last time , but it only took us 3 min before we found it
Hmmm I searched the trees for a while and decidded to look down, I found somthing that could have been it, hmmm no log, no cover, I tore a strip from a page I had, wrote my ID tag roled and put inside, look down,, That looks like a cap, And it fit, I did what It looked like it should be doing, Rite on the coordinates and id say ive found it. but please MB, Can you check it again. TFTC.
Visited the site tonight when it was very dark and searched the area, unfortunately could not find it but I'll be returning during the day time
Parent birds and one juvenile were nearby but didn't take a lot of notice of me. Found the neat container on the ground, couldn't locate exactly where it should be and thus hung it (hopefully securely) in a likely place. Thanks.
Picked up some Xmas shopping at Watergardens and headed home this way to find my cache for the day. Nice little park tucked away in a great spot.
Knew what to look for from the description and the magpies were at rest. After a while I worked out what tool I needed and everything fell into place.

Not a great day out looking for caches in the area. No luck with this one either today.
At first I was getting swooped by magpies and almost gave up, but after they had seemed to have left, I tried again.
Still no luck even after looking for 15 mins and thinking more about going home than finding it.
So left with no cache in hand.

A short walk led me to a likely spot and the well constructed cache was soon found. Quiet here today.

Being a huge lover of May's classic, as soon as this one popped up on near-by's I just had to get it. Very distracted by the family of 3 baby magpies sitting near at almost eye level. Mama arrived soon after and watched us carefully. Being a nature nerd, this alone made this cache awesome. Add my 2nd obsession, books, and you are on a winner!
Had to Gooogle first what a Snugglepot looks like it, after that it was a easy find

I'd been looking forward to this one for a while and today found myself in the right area (oh well, a SLIGHT detour from where I was going). 2 of the kids took off for the play equipment but GeoBrodie was in the mood for a hunt. The look on his face (age was priceless when he said "Mum! I found it!" It was pretty much what I'd imagined but still took a while to locate. Thanks Mulga Bill.
Great Job I love this it's great to see all the effort that goes in to it

Out getting co ords for Geoscouts activity for next week in this area so I grabbed a few caches in the sunshine.
Luckily I had the right tool with me again and I had an idea what to look for as I was familiar with the story.
I also have a few of this type of cache to put out.

After finding the new cache up the road, I wasn't wasting the headtorch, or the time in the area, without finding this clever cache.
From the description, I had a fare idea what I was looking for, and sure enough, the well hidden cache was soon located. Nice work again Mulga Bill, a pleasure to see some interesting variations in our game.

Love your work Mulga Bill
Of course I ignored the advised parking coordinates and the pathway from the other end was underwater so I got wet feet but we got there in the end and after a minute of so of wondering the 'penny dropped' and the creative hide was soon in hand.
Our thanks to Mulga Bill for the cache.

Another huge and awesome TDC (The Demolition Crew) run consisting of myself, Quasar3671 and TrailRunning. Starting in the afternoon, heading into the evening, night and early morning hours, we cached until we almost dropped, finding around 70 for the run. A huge effort. The run took us from the Eastern Suburbs, winding our way slowly out of Melbourne then up to Sunbury and finally back through Melbourne.
The weather was fine, with no rain to be seen. A big mixed bag of caches with at least 10 mysteries, several multis, a few night caches, a few tree climbs, and a few nice walks thrown in as well. Marty got stung by stinging nettles, we had a huge Maccas feed during the night and we even stopped at a local Sunbury pub for a pot of beer, the run was going so well time wise. A top night caching down south for me.
Another cache with a nice bit of camo. Quite a few good hides in the area. TFTC.

An exceptionally huge and successful winters afternoon, evening and night of caching by The Demolition Crew (myself, Blacklegend and Trailrunning). Yet again the weather was kind to us and although it was pretty cold, the rain held off all night. In a nut shell we worked our way from the eastern side of Melbourne across to Sunbury then back through Melbourne city itself. With only a few DNF's for the night I managed to net about 64 caches for the night ranging from some nice easy trads, multis and puzzles that we had worked out the finals for, and a difficult up tree hide that had me being hoisted up by Blacklegend and Trailrunning, using the harness and ropes supplied by TR. I was glad to get down after that one as with the tightness of the harness was almost giving me at extra set of tonsils, if you know what I mean . The last of the difficult local tree hides now conquered (for now).
Another highlight - or lowlight was when we did Time & Tide. The terrain was very wet and slippery and stinging nettle everywhere. I managed to slip and my right hand and wrist slammed into a great big patch of the stuff. Three days later my hand was still feeling the effects with pins and needles and numbness. At one point we even stopped for a beer at a local pub in Sunbury as we were ahead of time, and sat and relaxed for a few minutes and enjoyed the larger. Back on the road and we continued on, into the early hours of the morning. A great night both for the cache's found and the localities visited.
This hide could drive you nuts, but not us tonight. Thanks for the cache.

Yet on another clear winter’s night, The Demotion Crew (TDC – Quasar3671, Blacklegend, and TrailRunning) are out on another mammoth night-time caching run. This time the route took us north of Melbourne. One could describe it as a run through the northern outer suburbs from Eltham to Sunbury, and the final part of the night (or should I say just before daybreak) in central Melbourne. We have all cached these areas before, but with new caches being published all the time, and multi’s yet to be found, the night yielded a swag of over 70 caches. Many of the multi’s had been worked out using Google and streetview in the planning phase before the night. The night was going so well, we were well ahead of time, so we stopped for a beer at a local Sunbury pub. There is nothing like helping out the local economy! The highlight of the night was Cladocalyx (GC2RTN3). This cache I had previously attempted immediately after doing the Woodlands series, but I was so tired I was unable to get to the cache. On this night we had great success in harnessing up Marty, and pulling him up to the cache using my climbing gear. Having seen this type before it was a matter of just spotting it. Thanks.
I'm heading home and decided to pick up a local cache. I found one by Mulga Bill and decided "I love His Work".
Sure enough, I wasn't Dissappointed
As usual ,a very creative piece of work and effort.
No kids with me today , so I couldn't enjoy the playground.
Thanks for another nice cache.

This one took quite a while to track down. I guessed what I should be looking for, but the GPSr had me standing well away from a likely hide. I widened the search area, and eventually found it around 7m south from where I was being told to look. Clever camo, and creative hiding method. Nice work, Mulga Bill!
MMMM.
Another one of how did I miss this caches.
This time I walked straight up to it literally.
Exactly what I was looking for.
My gps still had me a few metres out but the cache was signed and I left.
Thanks for the heads up Mulga Bill.

This one is available again. When searching for this one, please take careful note of the whereabouts of the fastening device because it can be quite difficult to replace in its original location.
Awesome cache Mulga Bill! iPhone was sending me elsewhere, I thought cache was attached to the water pipe nearby (or is it a gas pipe?) geokid found this cache easily!
Found on a cold wintery day. Thought this would take a lot longer to find than it did, but I suspect I just got lucky!!
TFTC Mulga Bill, definitely a favourite from me.

I am familiar with these stories and have often walked past the Nutcote home when I visit Mosman in Sydney. Therefore I had a pretty good idea how you might hide this one.
Still took a bit of looking and there were a few signs of digging nearby which may have been from a previous cacher??
I have been meaning to come past here for a while but it leads nowhere useful for me so I have been a bit neglectful of this cache
Anyway thanks Mulga Bill for the good hide

No reasonably educated Australian should have difficulty guessing what they have to look for, though finding it can be trickier.
As there were Council workers finishing some maintenance nearby, I made the mistake of taking the container aside to remove and sign the log. Do you think I could find the place I'd removed it from afterward? Not before a good many minutes of searching.
Nicely crafted and placed. Thanks also for the rekindled childhood memories.

No matter how hard I looked I could'nt find.
The iphone is not my preference to cache with and wish I had the Garmin for a more accurate GZ.
I'm sure I new what I was looking for but no matter how far I walked back and forward I had no luck.
Thanks anyway I will return.

So I had two FTFs and decided that if I wanted to get a milestone, I'd need another one before heading down to HMAS Bayview. I was searching via torchlight when it dawned on me what I might be looking for... urrrgggghh. I looked a little harder and made the find in a few minutes. Top job on this one, thanks Mulga Bill.

Found 8.30am
This one took a bit longer to find than normal, reading the cache page at GZ did not help much as I have not read the subjet books. Kept walking away and back in trying to get a more accurate fix when suddenly my eyes spied something that needed a closer look. Very nice cammo.

Finishing up a night at the Movies and knowing this cache was posted late last night, Jester and Queen noticed that suprisingly no logs had appeared via our iPhone apps yet so we hightailed down to Kealba thinking we could grab this one as a FTF.
With much anticipation we unrolled the log hoping to see nothing and score the FTF title but alas it had been claimed already. Congrats to Bushfire and Suscoe!
Again a great Cache Mulga Bill with outstanding cammo! Team member queen has some fond memories of the Snuggle Pot and Cuddle Pie stories as a kid.
A great playground too, Jester had a little play on the way back to the car but soon found out that he was a little too big for some of its equipment but will hopefully we'll be returning with some real kids to enjoy it.

Suscoe was on a Melbourne trip with Bushfire today. We had been talking about this cache as it had been released late last night, no way could it be still unfound we though as we headed up the highway.
Arrived at GZ and Mrs. Suscoe said what is this, i have found it.
Opened the log and no signatures, well we were amazed and very pleased with our effort.
Signed by some very happy cachers.
A big thanks to Mulga Bill for this cache, nice work indeed!!!!!!!!!!!

The ageing Bushfire and the suscoe team decided to add a few smilies to their tallies today. The aim was to find any caches that we had not found and knock off a few mysteries that had been worked out over a long period of time but had not been near enough to grab.
This was the fifth cache found today and we are well on our way to have a smiley on all mysteries between Geelong and the West Gate Bridge.
Printed this cache out last night when it was published, not knowing if we would be close enough today but decided to have a look and as suscoe stated we were very surprised to find a clean log. I like to see some effort put into both the cache notes and the hide and this cache has both so a favourite from me as well.
Pity we did not notice the coffee invite as we may have called in but who knows I still have my printed cache notes!!.
Glad to see that you have removed that section. Thanks for placing this cache.
