Beautiful but windy and chilly evening with my family playing at the park. I had previously looked for this one, but no luck, so contacted the CO who was very helpful. SL. TFTC
Im really enjoying pursuing the Monster Lane caches. The log was saturated so I have added a new log in a bag. The cache was replaced as found. TFTC
I wanted this find to fill another spot in my multi-only D/T loop so I headed here after spending the afternoon collecting a few of Chamad's sailboat art. Solving the puzzle wasn't difficult but the tree cover seemed to be interfering with my GPS and although I read the hint, and understood it, I couldn't really narrow GZ down and the heavy leaf litter wasn't helping. Eventually I decided to PAF, not something I usually do, and was handed a pretty specific explanation but it still took me quite a while to actually find the container and I left GZ looking like a crazy bush turkey had been scratching around even though I kicked the leaf littler back over the container and surrounds before I left. Thanks for find #5300TNLN
Had searched for this on two previous occasions and notified the CO who subsequently confirmed it was missing. On our next trip to Brisbane we swung by as we knew it had been replaced. The find was instant. And GZ was very surprisingly empty of muggles for a Saturday morning! A quick sign and onto the next. TFTC barb, and for fixing it so quickly.
The coordinates had us a little bit stumped to start with but we used the hint and found the cache. kids loved playing at the playground. thanks for placing
Finally found this but with the help of a previous finder. Deserves its D rating. TFTC
& I were here a fortnight ago doing this multi after a fabulous letterbox nearby. Unfortunately we seemed to hit a wall and due to the hide & muggles passing we didn’t get too involved in ferreting about. We came back this afternoon and there were less distractions about so got into the thick of finding our quarry at the GZ. It proved illusive & required a PAF to narrow out hunt. no wonder it’s a high difficulty
Muggle65 and l gave up on this one last time. It was a bit busy at GZ so we left. Much better today although the cache was buried very deeply in the leaf litter. Happy to turn this one into a smile face. Thank you so much for the fun
Definitely a tricky one. I spent a fair bit of time searching around, even got a couple of hints from the CO but still couldn’t find it. Might be me though. . At least it was cool under the shade of these lovely trees.
During my initial visit, I wondered how this multi-cache had such a high difficulty rating, but in classic karma style, even with a friendly hint from the GeoChecker, and searching around, I left defeated, quietly confident that the cache was likely gone. Then a few weeks go by, and the cache claims a find?! Hmmm.
Back again this evening after work, and with [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) by my side as a second pair of eyes, I decided to have a second look for this cache. However, this time it was still early enough in the light to enjoy the nearby playground in the park, and it's somewhere that I'd love to return to with kids. I resumed my search at GZ, and although the hints were still fresh in my memory, I had another review of the information at hand, and then had another look, but this time, I decided to expand my search slightly. When that strategy didn't pay off, I then realised there were "tentacles" on my other side, and perhaps that was the "square" that was being referenced. After scrounging around in amongst the leaves, the cache was found!
The cache container and logbook were in good shape, although the logbook was slightly damp, but that probably doesn't matter with the logbook being waterproof (but my stamp is likely to fade). The size is perhaps more micro-small than its currently listed "other" size. Thanks barbbowman for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/jesswrigley stamp.

After dropping the family off at the ice skating rink in Boondall, I had a couple of hours to myself for a spot of caching. Here we go…
This took a few minutes to locate after calculating the coordinates due to leaf debris.
Thanks!!

This evening after work, I thought I would try to head around Fitzgibbon and then Boondall for a few target geocaches. Although I was able to visit a few long/large multi-cache waypoints, my find count wasn't too successful with more DNFs than finds.
Rates, no luck today! It didn't take long in collecting the required information from the plaque, and the GeoChecker agreed that I hadn't made any errors in my calculations or substitution. The hint was initially a little obscure, however I soon realised what those two items were referring to. I subsequently had a good look around and scratched around the area, but alas, no luck. I had a strong suspicion to what this cache type was, and I can't help but feel like this cache may have been muggled? I guess I will have to watch and see; Thanks anyway barbbowman for the cache placement. A nice little park, in any case.

After a nudge from the CO, I stopped here on my way home. I arrived at GZ and saw it staring at me from its spot on plain sight from about 3metres away. I fave no idea why I didn’t feel it or feel it last time. I have previously found many of these and they are usually more hidden! I love reading about previous owners of land now used as parks!
Probably not a good one to attempt in the dark with an almost flat torch and a need for dinner. I will be back very very soon
We were headed out to find a couple of caches while DFC was on a 12-hour shift at work. This multi was the first on our list due to our family connection with this area. So, we set out to find this cache while we were here and turn it into a yellow smiley face finally.
Before leaving the geocar (track my adventures D78QWZ) we re-read the description, the hint, confirming the Difficulty and Terrain and the previous finder’s logs dropped a big hint.
We set off to walk to the GZ. MummaBear66 was directing us where to go. So, we started our walk over to the GZ, discussing about where this geocache could possibly be located.
Thankfully after a decent search in the wrong place we worked out we were in the incorrect place and regrouped. Then we headed back to the Geocar and JLK to start writing this log.
Finally found this cache and replaced exactly as we found.
Thanks for the placement and maintenance of this cache Barb Bowman

Out and about with a muggle friend who decided to join me on my adventure today. Did a few multis which i don't normally do.
This was a nice easy one again. I love when all the info is in one place and the final is not a huge distant away.
My muggle friend Alex found this one as it was upside down.
Thanks for the cache.

Like others before me... I initially questioned my numbers... then I read a couple of logs... ahhh... I see... once at GZ it was a quick find... tftc...
This was the last one for today’s adventures with Swearah. After gathering the required info and a minute or two of scratching our heads, we started our search. I was looking in completely the wrong spot so was lucky that Swearah wasn’t! Didn’t take too long for her to find what we were after. A nice multi, TFTC!
Playing outside today with krcamber, we decided we’d make this our last one before parting ways. After gathering the required info and getting the green light from the checker, we began our search.
A few minutes later we had the sneaky cache in hand. Thanks for the MultiCache, barbbowman!

We gathered the information, did our calculations then checked them again.
And pretty soon we had the cache.
Thanks for this little multi. All is good here.

After finding a nearby milestone I stopped here. Got the numbers quickly and adjusted my angle of approach and found the container quickly.

Oh wow! Rainy day find with help from the lovely CO! Thank you for the cache!! FNLS
The daily caching trip, brought the bike to the North side to log some of the caches along the trails, saving time and for here keeping clear of the mozzies.
While moving from one bike ride to the next.
Got out a pair for geotools from the car and get to work, after a fair bit of work I uncovered the cache, finally!
Thank you for hiding this cache Barbbowman

Needed a “M” to finish off May, so that’s why I decided to grab this cache, It was easy enough getting the coords, but difficult to locate the cache. I had to PAF who gave me a slight hint which put me in a better position and lucky for me I found the cache in the next place I looked.

Back to finish this multi after last time. Was here awhile with my kids but never found the cache. So today was it. But still needed a PAF to find it.

After seeing the CO’s note that it’s there, I went back today for my second look. After cleaning both gardens of leaves I had to ask the CO for a hint. Turns out the gps had me at one direction and the cache is in the other side
Was the next garden to clean lol but as id been here too long already it was time make tracks before someone official turns up
The trees do play with the gps a little
Thanks barb for keeping this going and the hint. Nice quick multi

After a few attempts at this cache I received a very kind hint from the CO before Christmas. After returning from holidays yesterday It was a perfect time to turn this into a smiley. Found safe and well.
With help from co owner we were able to find this one, we came to several times. Off to work we go, with smiley faces great multi
In town to see Shawn Mendes at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre but couldn't resist the lure of a geocache or few. Priorities are golden. Thanks to barbbowman for placing & maintaining this cache, and for showing me a great area.
Cheers.

Solved the puzzle without too much fuss but scratched my head at GZ. Do I have this wrong, I wondered? Looked around and didn’t see anything obvious. PAF while I went to get some monster lane caches. After a quick response from the CO I had the confirmation I needed and the cache was quickly at hand. We then dashed off to play with the Dalmatian nearby, followed by fish and chips for dinner. TFTC!
Solved this one with the geokid a few days ago. We looked for about 15 minutes but couldn't find it, and was really confused by the hint. We will return to spend a bit more time at GZ!
On a positive note, we got to have cuddles with a dalmation puppy playing at the nearby dog park. I went home hairy and happy.

I ran the numbers on this one after landing Sunday night. Couldn’t find in the dark. On my return from other finds this morning I gave it 5 minutes in daylight but was not enough to reveal the cache. Thanks for the fun
I had this one solved ages ago but didn't look for it until today as I am trying to find enough caches to solve the " Mystery at the Museum" challenge. Quickly found by my son and log signed then cache replaced as found. TFTC
what no … it is never missing
so glad I picked up a spare as I raced out the door

This was my 3rd visit here today. Day 1 I gathered the information and took the long hike;) to gz. I searched and searched like a bush turkey. Oh the leaves. After around 45 minutes I had to call it quits. Day 2 i did same but only stayed for 20 minutes. Today after half an hour and nearly all the leaves gone I messaged the co who said she would be there in 4 minutes( how's that for service). She saw straight away that the cache was indeed missing. In the hiding spot we couldn't believe it has disappeared. I still wonder if it is there somewhere . We had a bit more of a look with no luck. Lucky the co brought another container. It was great to meet the co again and enjoyed a nice chat. Thanks for this great multi in this nice little park.
This is my second time here. First time I was exhausted after the long walk after gathering information and I spent along time looking. The leaves oh the leaves. Today I have been here 20 minutes. Will try for another 15.
I had previously searched for this one, to no avail. It wasn’t that I could t locate it, it was more of a case of the mozzies were eating me one time bite at a time. Tonight however I was back and it was located super quick.
After 5 years of Caching, this is the first one I have ever found on my birthday. Also gets me pretty close to the end of the Monster Lanes. TFTC
Happy days , came back today and found it as the hint suggests TFTC persistence pays off!
Having noted the solution to this multi was two simple questions from a plaque, we had questioned its difficulty rating of 4. And after our mission and a half of locating this cache, now we know! Initially hassled by the massive mosquitoes that others have warned of, we returned coated in Rid and then proceeded to clear almost 3/4 of all the leaves at GZ before we eventually uncovered it. Although, now that we've found it, we're not really sure how the hint relates to this hide!? But, hey! We found it!! But for our two cents: ignore the hint and stick close to GZ.
The cache and logbooks (one waterproof, one not) were entirely saturated and very smelly. We cleaned out the container, wiped down the waterproof log, and tried drying the other logbook on our hot car bonnet. We've popped the logbooks into a ziplock bag and hope it's sufficient in preventing this cache from letting in any more water...Thanks for another fun hunt, Barb!

Time to avenge my DNF here and "complete" the Monster Lane series. Took quite a bit of searching to locate this one as it is currently very, very, very well hidden. But I eventually managed to uncover something familiar. TFTC and the series - I managed to collect 64 out of the 69 caches, missing 7, 13, 51, 55, and 66. Dropping another favourite point on this one. This also brings me to 99 finds of barbbowman's caches!
We woke up this morning with a dilemma, Mrs 4ando is still sick! This led to our conundrum for the day. We had planned a bit of bushwalking today to pick up a few caches, normally Mrs 4ando would just strive on and come home this afternoon and die on the lounge but tonight we had commitments to hit the geo-son’s soccer club bar with the other parents of the team. There would be no time to die tonight when the drinking needs to be kept up to speed with the other soccer mums!
Bushwalking aborted for today to conserve the strength for drinking tonight. Cough medicine and panadol down the hatch and we are off, this was our first grab for the day. We gathered the info we needed and then scratched around like a couple of bush turkeys…well Mr 4ando did and I tentatively flicked a few leaves to the side, still conserving energy for tonight, hey, the big walk we had to do to get to the final took it out of me

After heading here yesterday and solving the coords, I started searching but as I wasn't having much luck and there were plenty of muggles around, especially with a jumping castle in the park, I decided to leave this one as I was on a time limit with a particular goal planned for the afternoon. Today I was back to nab this one to complete my May Challenge. And no sooner had I arrived, with a suspicion in my mind, than I had found the cache. Thanks for the cache barbbowman.

This was the last Monster Lane cache that I needed to complete the series. It's been too long in coming and not for the lack of trying. Somehow on my previous trips to the area I was concentrating on a spot across the road. Obviously I'd inputted the wrong coordinates into the GPS.
With a fresh set of eyes ended up relooking at the plaque, inputted the numbers into the equations and ended up not where I'd been looking previously!! Took a short walk to GZ then when taking the clue into consideration started to fluff the leaf litter in a few spots. Eventually hit something solid and found the well hidden container.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Monster Lane series and it's great to finally finish it. Well worth a fav point. Thanks for the wonderful series!!

Last night we had a dinner for my daughters 18th birthday. There were plenty of red wines imbibed with Mr 4ando which caused me to sleep in. I had planned a caching day with my geodaughter but even though I struggled to get out of bed, she couldn't be bothered getting up at all. Just on lunch time I headed out alone - again!
At the first waypoint I gathered the numbers and was then a little amazed. I checked the numbers a second time and then a third. I can't be that bad at maths.
At GZ I kicked around for a little bit and read some past logs. Time to get the caching brain in gear and wondered where a good hiding place would be. Scratched away the leaf litter to reveal the hide. Hallelujah! tftc

I had been here once before looking for this one but for some reason my gps pointed me to somewhere which didn't fit the hint at all.
I met the cache owner at an event at christmas time and had mentioned this one to her. Appears I was extremely close to where I needed to be but clearly something went wrong with the co-ordinates I had generated. I was looking for the right thing in the wrong place. This time when I went back I knew exactly where I needed to look and the cache was soon retrieved.
Signed the log and replaced as found. Thanks for all of your fantastic hides Barb.
This is find number 276 for me

Quick find at solved coordinates. What a gorgeous little park the walk from WP to GZ really took it out of my in this heat, but I made it!
With Solving4X. Thanks to a hint from the CO, this rascal was finally spotted. Thanks for the hint, and the cache!
Out here today trying to obtain a souvenir. I have been here once before with my kids when it was approaching darkness just to get the puzzle solved. On that day we quickly calculated the coords needed and it turns out that it wasn't too far to the cache's hiding spot. So we had time for a quick look that day but with failing light and hungry kids the search was abandoned early.
Today I had an hour between dancing drop off and pick up to try again. Wasn't sure if I was to look high or low but there was a lot less leaf litter here this time which was hopeful (if in fact it was down low). Well I poked prodded walked in circles and was contemplating my next move. Would I use a phone a friend? Then realised I had only been here 10 minutes. For a D4 I think I need to put in a bit more effort even on time critical days. More searching and then I spied the cache! Clever. Only thing was it was lying on its side out in the open so I had managed to dislodge it without realising it. Log signed and replaced where I was last looking. Which matches the clue and coords so I think I have replaced it in the correct spot (with may be a slight bit of creep). Sorry Barb :/
Thanks for a fun little multi. Another monster crossed off.

Very sneaky hide took a bit longer than we thought it would. fav from us. On a quick holiday in Brisbane visiting a son and his family. Caching during the day and family time at night. Thank you for placing and maintaining this cache tnln.sl. sorry about generic type logs but did a few and got ourselves a bit confused
Had an hour free this afternoon, so thought I could find this one. New co-ordinates solved quickly and the arduous trek to the next GZ was soon completed. I found nothing... But driving home this afternoon, I had a realisation of where I would put a cache if I wanted to be really devious. I will be back soon!
Out there with bikesu to get the May Challenge done. Successfully signed the logbook. tftc
Doing a few Multicaches this afternoon with Nadine1989, to build up our Multi finds.
We had solved this puzzle a while back, and been her to find the final, but with no luck. Today we were convinced we could sus it out, and after a lot of bush turkeying, we found the frustrating hide. At last! Not sure what the second part of the hint means, though. Very unusual multi.
Found at 3.30pm on 24th April 2016. TFTC.

Went together with RoddyC to this cache and after reading the last logs and give a good hint Mrs RoddyC found the cache quickly.
Out for a day of caching in this area. We quickly worked out the very unusual new co-ordinates and then started our search. There is so much leaf litter around here it made the job very difficult. The hint didn't make much sense to us at all but in reading previous logs we got a bit of a hint about what we were looking for. We were about to give up and head to the car when one more push of the leaf litter revealed the hide. TNLNSL TFTC
The plaque was located quickly and the calculations done. Ummm okay if you say so....but searching for the cache took some time. I had an idea what I might be looking for, and upon finally locating the cache I was correct. Happy to sign the log. TFTC
Having recently found #67 made this one a lot easier. Thanks for the fun numbers & a fun hide.
Got the clues and did a cursory look - looks like it will be difficult (based on recent logs). Need to come back with my proper GPS.
After some advice from the CO I searched high and low and finally had my hands on the cache. Only two more to finish the series. TFTC..
3rd time here over a few years. This time with the co telling me exactly where to look. I found the lid but no log or anything else. Another call out to mrs co who was worried that I had indeed found a piece of her cache. I searched harder and found the rest. After reassembling I returned it safely to where it was meant to be much the co relief. Yay. I don't have to come back to this park again. Tftc
I think I have established what the square and the tentacles are just cant find what I am looking for. Have to come back and look another day.
OMG OMG we finally found it. Had to become amateur landscapers to find this one and needed all the help we could get from the co for this one. Why were you so elusive Monster? We searched a couple tines for this and glad to finally get the smile to show for it. A clever hide although inner container is missing a lid all is good otherwise. Returned how we found. That is to say in that bloody difficult spot! Tftc. Recovered and returned.
Afternoon walk with the dog and we decided to trundle around the park searching for this one in interludes. After several searches we both decided to retire for another arvo. Tftc. I will return.
Had plans to get a cache in the area and noticed this one which I'd overlooked for the May challenge. After a refresher course on the multi aspect of the cache I went about scratching around and soon came up with the cache. TFTC
Yep this was hard, my second visit and it still took a hint from the CO to get this one. Of course it's easy now
Thanks for the cache and the early morning hint

After stopping in for a chat and Pathtag trade with the CO (who stayed very tight lipped about this one ) it was off to meet a robot warrior. After gathering the required info and performing the necessary calcs, it was necessary to take the long journey to the final (getting puffed just thinking about it). A quick search here and there just produced some piles of leaves, but after having a think about it, the familiar container emerged. Thanks for a great multi barb
I was caching not too far from here when I needed to locate some facilities. I remembered the shopping centre I had passed, so headed there. After using the restrooms, I bought some sustenance. Whilst consuming it, I checked for nearby cahces. Hmmm....an interesting looking multi not far away. Sustenance consumed, I headed to it. Parked across the road and wandered across to the park. I quickly located the plaque and found the necessary information. Once I enetered the coordinates into my phone, I thought I must have made a mistake. Back to the plaque to check again. Hmmm. This has really got me thinking. I found a shady spot to sit to think about what I was seeing. Allowing for the inaccuracy of my iphone, I began to search a particular spot and quickly came up with something that I thought was the cache. After much poking prodding, pushing and pulling, I failed to locate the log. So certain was I that I had found the cache that I rang the CO. Turns out I was very wrong!!!! Back to the drawing board. The Co said that she would come to have a look, as she wasnt very far away. Once I rethought things, based on something the CO told me, I quickly located the cache. I quickly called the CO to tell her that I had found it and that all was good.
Sometimes luck just falls your way sometimes. OIt si not about how good you are at caching, but how good your friends are!. Tonight seffnjarah had done his homework om this one, and had a fair old idea where the cache may be. All it was then to do was get looking. And that was no mean feat.
It took us a while, but once again SNJ choose the right place too look. Woohoo! Cachce down! and only my second in this series...at this rate ill have them all done by the end of the century!
Thanks BB

I had mangled to find some information from the comfort of my desk to help me with this cache, but came up with some coordinates that gave me food for thought. Some previous logs indicated I had nothing to worry about and so had put the information aside for another time. Heckle and Jeckle (aka Swellerfungus and Seffnjarah) were out on a caching run on this side of town tonight so we called in to try our luck at making the find. Plenty of camouflage hiding this one but I managed to make the find nonetheless. Swellerfungus celebrated with his happy Warrior Robot dance while I signed the log, which amazingly failed to attract the attention of the motorcycle policeman stopped at the traffic lights on metres away. After some correspondence with the cache owner made a detour on my trip back South but still no find.
I have had some bad cases of cache blindness but this one will certainly be up there. It's actually rather embarrassing when the cache owner gets there 30 seconds before I do and has it found before and is leaving before you she get there. It has certainly made me smile and gets a favourite for embarrassing me. Now off to buy some thicker glasses. Tftc
