The council seem to be always tree pruning in this area, and I have already fixed this cache 3 times, so will leave the park for someone else to hide a cache

03-Mar-16
Just getting rid of the spanner as I have now atchived this cache

01-Mar-16
Can this have some maintenance please, seems it's in need of attention. Thank you.

29-Feb-16
While my car was being serviced I decided to do a few caches. Well I found the cache. There isn't any lid but I have added a piece of paper. Unfortunately without the lid this paper will go soggy very quickly. TFTC!

27-Feb-16
The grapes were detached from the tether. The scroll is missing. The lid is missing!! Thanks!!

27-Feb-16
TFTC!!! Lots of fun!!

27-Feb-16
The grapes were detached and in the ground, log missing.

11-Feb-16
Found fairly easily today. However while extracting the log, managed to disconnect the cache from its tether. Signed the log while resting on a nearby fencepost, but then couldn't find the tether to replace the container. Finally located the tether and firmly attached the cache ready for the next finder. TFTC, AOH. A most prolific cache hider indeed.

08-Feb-16
We found it yay! `,,'

06-Feb-16
We never know what to expect with AOH caches. Rather, we just expect the unexpected. Smile
This one didn't disappoint. Very nice.
Definitely helps to have an extraction tool.
Thanks for placing this cache and adding to our fun today.

It was a little bit wet

23-May-15
Needing an escape from toowoomba this afternoon, I grabbed kestal and we thought we would come find the new caches. Didn't make the ftf...fair call as it takes us over an hour to drive down. on our rEturn to Toowoomba I saw this cache on the way out...hmmm why not grab another? Found the cache, but the container was not in good shape (someone wasn't respectful it appears) and the log book was wet and pushed in. Contacted CO and have her permission to log. I hope people can be more respectful of caches and understand that COs put a lot of effort into their hides. I am in no way suggesting it was the precious finders, possibly someone who didn't log!

TFTC an old hag and allowing me to log it.

Smilie #2105

The co-ords bounced around a little here but once settled I was pretty sure they were accurate.
Now it was just a case of finding it! Smile
Spent a few minutes closing in & then Wham, Bam, thank you Ma'am!
Cache in hand.
Signed & replaced as found!

Today we explored Ipswich and surrounds with Whitewebbs heading towards Stanthorpe for the Mega using geocaching as a guide.

Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

TFTC. Was killing some time waiting for family and this was nearby. Thought it would be easy. Just about to give up and spotted it. Great camouflage and sneaky hide. Not what I was expecting. Look forward to some more of yours. Thanks AOH. #35.

16-Dec-14
Pulling up to this one with the puppy in the car I was only going to have a short search here knowing he would be getting jealous from the car. Some how the hide was found pretty quickly. Log book signed and the sneaky little left as it was found. TFTC an old hag

Have been back to this cache quite a few times and now have finally found it considering this is the closest cache to my house tftc

13-Dec-14
The dance I performed when I heard "FINALLY!!!" was epic lol. I shuffled and did the running man and cabbage patch to celebrate. Thank you thank you thank you! Just live 1 min away and tried finding this one a million times lol. This find has made my day. TFTC AOL! Awesome cache btw.

cache refreshed

02-Nov-14
OMG I thought this one was going to be the death of me, have searched several times in the past with absolutely noooo luck & now we have moved in just around the corner it's been haunting me to find it, so renovation tools down for the arvo & a little stroll to kick the soccer ball & have another look see, half an hour later & many mumbled choice words I'd decided to leave it for another day when little Miss S ever so sweetly says.... There it is!!!!
Ahhhhh AOH I've certainly a love/hate relationship with your caches but as always the sense of happiness once we have the little buggers located definitely makes it all worth it [:-)]
Thanks for another amazing hide & our 111th smiley

01-Nov-14
Found a half brick but nothing else. Continued on to Mihi Junction and found our first Geocache YAY lol.

03-Oct-14
To hard to find gave up

28-Sep-14
Phone had a bit of a problem deciding where it was for this one, Will try again !

26-Aug-14
We returned, checked out everything, every stick even looked in the rib cage of a dead bird much to Delyce's disgust I pulled up short of checking out a dog dropping though, I must have picked up the half a brick 10 times, we were here for over an hour, the next thing Delyce yelled out "I've found it" I think everybody in Sutton Park heard, (so much for stealth) yes it was a good hide, this is the one time I should have followed the arrow thanks AOH. We added a bit more paper.

17-Aug-14
We were running out of light, we will be back

22-Jun-14
Actually looked for this one today and yesterday with no luck while visiting Ipswich for a footy carnival. Had a bit of a problem with the GPS jumping all over the place but I know we were in the general area. Just blind!!! A nice park, thank you AOH

18-Apr-14
Sadly, have to log this one as a DNF.
The mozzies hunted us off and we had to ring RSPCA on Good Friday to request assistance for a sick possum.
Kids were over being bitten by the blood suckers and we wanted to keep moving. Will have to get this one another day.

25-Mar-14
Let the pigeons loose, fireworks explode!!!! I first hunted this one in January. I know the park well and was full of confidence. Well its the end of March and after countless visits and much swearing at an old hag I finally got a smiley for this one!! Team bad 4306 and flora the explora were also standing in the rain for 20 mins looking. We had even made a PAF call and confirmed its existance and a 'it's about here.' call. I swear it was the rain drops not tears of joy that were running down my face. The previous logs finally make sense. I don't think I'll ever go back to that park!!!! Thanks for a long winded hunt an old hag. You really keep me running. Smile

25-Mar-14
Thank goodness it's over, I'm sick of igotahunch dragging us to this park. I'm sure he was crying when he found it! I'm giving a fav point for all the fun we had here. (not fun for igotahunch)

25-Mar-14
Life can get back to normal now igotahunch has found Sutton park. Nice hide an old hag, had us dancing for a while. TFTC

12-Feb-14
Out in Ipswich area on the bikes for a Wacky Wednesday with teamdfl. It'd been a long and interesting day, and we were heading back to the cars, but better just grab one more as we go by. This one took some time to find, and as others have said, you just have to be looking in just the right way. teamdfl finally spotted it. TFTC, an old hag.

12-Feb-14
This one kept us guessing for quite a while. After checking a few wrong spots while the GPS tried to settle under the tree cover we both had decided on the same general area for GZ.

Even then it took some finding. A very typical AOH hide I thought. Something a little bit different, but more or less in plain sight. You really do just have to be in the right spot.

We had both wandered round and round looking everywhere and could not see it. Then when I was distracted saying something to IolantheK I spotted it. Right there. Right in front of me the whole time.

It is always satisfying to find ones like that Smile

26-Jan-14
Second time here - it took a while to locate.

Was just about to leave then I had one more look - hey is that normal here?
I do not think so - true enough that was the container.

It seems that the camouflage is beginning to come off.

TFTC!

19-Jan-14
tried for a long time and gave up. Did find 2 dead rats in the GZ area. Please be careful.

28-Dec-13
I pulled up around the corner and had to wait for a muggle with a stubborn hound which didn't want to go any further. they sat an rested close to the search area for a few minutes before finally heading off.

I searched fruitlessly for a while and then made a PAF call which gave me a hint on what I was looking for but initially it didn't help me to locate it until I moved my area of search and then I spotted it. I opened the cache and the log fell out and disappeared into the mulch under foot and for the life of me I couldn't locate it so I returned to the car a fashioned a temporary log and signed that. The replacement is probably a bit small for the container so the CO might like to check on it.

TFTC

30-Oct-13
Looks like the cache has gone missing

29-Oct-13
Not really a owner maintenance because

This cache has NOT gone missing ... don't know where the pic was taken, but the cache definitely is not and has not ever been in that hole.

Please don't log a needs maintenance just because you cannot find the cache.

# 6165 Found on our 2013 winter escape trip to Qld.
We are in Ipswich for a few days to have a good look around.
Not many muggles around here today but another well hidden old hag cache.
Thankfully I spotted it before I gave up.
Another day of the 31 day challenge completed as well.
Thanks for the cache an old hag,
Roostaman.

16-Jun-13
Hmm. AOH has stumped again. We will return at a later time and look again.

15-Jun-13
With a pocket full of fantails I wandered in with the camera to have another go at this one. I wasn't able to give it any decent attempts before and today I wasn't leaving without a smiley. The GPS does jump around a bit but I checked all the area well. This is a very busy corner for vehicular traffic! Lots of fake photos taken. I eventually spotted it after 10 minutes of checking over its home location, no possibility of cache creep on this one. I had a little trouble with retrieving the log and wish my teenage son was here. I wrote my name and then cursed his absence again as I replaced the log. I was very glad to finally have enough time to grab this one and jumped at the chance.

This cache had a pondering and wandering a little bit. But when I approached from a different angle I could see it in plain sight.

27-May-13
Out with misssusan, bit of a search for this one. Susan made the find in the end.

17-May-13
Aha an old hag you do know how to stump ppl well hidden but simple and easy.. I stood back and scanned the hole area and what do you know got him.. This is the hardest for me yet..

14-May-13
After half and hour we were about to give up. AOH has done it to me again. Like others as I walked away having given up I too got a chance glance in the write direction. Thanks AOH

08-May-13
another quick find nice little cache

04-May-13
Have done this one before with my family so knew where to look and it's definitely missing! Sad

29-Mar-13
Out with Teamtinda this afternoon. Tree cover causing the GPS to bounce around but located appropriate GZ and started looking. TT was going to get his GPS instead of phone when he just by chance looked as he was walking and saw the cache. I've seen this type before! Fluke, I say. TFTC

29-Mar-13
I hadn't been here for years - I once coached a girls' soccer team which played over on the far side, but it was nice to be back. After a bit of roaming around, I just happened to look in the right place at the right time. Yep, this one could have taken quite a while... you have to be lucky sometimes! TFTC once again AOH.

22-Mar-13
After missing out on the previous cache container here due to it doing a runner we returned today to grab this one, great hide. SL TFTC

28-Feb-13
Looked everywhere trees. Leaves and the ground.. A little hint would be nice.. Spent an hour hear..

21-Feb-13
Clever. Ouch!

02-Feb-13
Checked on this one today and the new container is still in it's new home.

I have also upped the difficulty rating, because it is now not in a position where a new cacher would possibly look for a cache

02-Feb-13
No luck with this one. Think we looked in every crack of every tree. Sad

07-Jan-13
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 35.844 E 152° 44.466

Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 35.848 E 152° 44.468

Distance from original: 26.7 feet or 8.1 meters.

Went to place another cache here and decided that the old place was now far too open, so have found another place to hide the cache

07-Jan-13
new cache in place at adjusted co-ordinates

28-Dec-12
went to check on this one today and it is definitely not there

so am disabling it while I debate it's fate

26-Nov-12
I think that this one may have flown the tree

26-Nov-12
I believe that I found the correct hide for this one as I feel that a cache I did earlier would have looked the same but with one slight difference according to the logs. Perhaps the owner could check it out

25-Oct-12

Found on a sunday drive with GeoPup & Geohubby. Thanks for the help from a fellow Geocacher! Wink
Thanks An Old Hag!
SL TFTC!

30-Sep-12
Ran into Baralga here, nice to meet you Big Grin. Isn't it funny when you see someone wandering through a garden with an electronic device in hand you instantly assume "geocacher!"

We said g'day and then set about searching. I spotted the critter quickly enough, probably due to some expereince with aoh caches closer to home. Ugly little critter... they can't play football though Razz.

TFTC an old hag

30-Aug-12
Some of your caches we have bashed our heads against very solid trees and came up with nothing, other we just walked up to - there doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason. This was one of the later. Bettyboo made a very quick find here.
Thanks, Robmc.

30-Aug-12
# 1170. Well, I don't know how I did it but I walked straight up to this one and said "Here it is, I've found it" What a lucky break for me considering some of the hides we have had to tackle today....! Thanks again an old hag.

30-Aug-12
Found today in the company of Robmc and BettyBoo on our visit to the Ipswich area.
Another cute little container from a master of disguise

10-Aug-12
School was out and there was signs that this area was going to get very busy, very quickly... So I had to make this one quick which to be honest, has not been a standard arrangement for Old Had micros... Twisted

This one proved different though and I spotted it as I approached GZ... Aha... I extracted the container and moved away to sort business out. All done, I picked everything up (or so I thought) and dropped the container back before moving on. It was a couple of cache later I realised I had left my teasers in the grass near GZ... That's not good... I dropped back later to pick them up... A little CITO on the run... Wink

Cheers Old Hag. This is a neat hide and well placed... Big Grin

Found it No. 6798 ... almost straight to it ... TNLN ... TFTC an old hag

16-Jul-12
Took my staff out geocaching on a team building day. This was the second one they picked it up and they were amazed, and cant wait to take their kids! TFTC old hag, it was a great example of some of the creative ways people can hide caches...

16-Jul-12
Scratching my head for a while, and then there it was looking at me!! Thanks old hag.

15-Jul-12
I must be getting the hang of Old Hag caches. I walked straight up to this little pest and grabbed it straight away. TFTC

13-Jul-12
Took my grandchildren after school today.
An excellent first Geocache for us.
The eldest made the youngest test to see if all was as they guessed.
Thank You,
Malamba

Today it was Friday the 13th and why not spend it having good luck and finding caches with Captain Terror and Whint and Bad Dal. We were finishing off our maps of Ipswich and we all had to get this one Smile I walked around to GZ and i spotted the cache easily since there is one on the northside. Thanks for the cache

13-Jul-12
Out for the day with Net88 & Captain Terror... after stopping off to grab a bite to eat {to go} we parked near GZ and jumped out... Net88 found within seconds Smile Ew!

13-Jul-12
[It was lunchtime as we pulled up at this cache and Whint, Net88 and myself bailed out for the hunt. Followed the GPS and soon net was all over the cache. As the logbook was being signed I couldn't help but note the mighty conveniently sized hole it was hidden in. Oh nature and your mysterious ways. TFTC an old hag.]

We made a stop on the way home after a FTF on an old hag cache in the bush and made a quick find on this one although it does blends in very well and you could easily miss it!

Loved this one. Another that I will be getting hubby to look for. Easily missed if you weren't looking for it (and even possibly if you were!). TFTC Old hag

Towards the end of the day we came into the western part of Ipswich and looked for some caches before getting tea and heading off to our motel. This is one of the caches we looked for. It took a few minutes for our GPS to settle down in this location but after a couple of minutes, it had pinpointed a location as GZ. We started searching there and gradually increased our search radius. Then something odd but interesting was noted. Closer examination revealed the cache - an excellent hide. TFTC an_old_hag.

Another great hide by An Old Hag. Very clever Cache. Didn't have any ink in me so I'll have to go back and sign later but I love this one. TFTC.

These types of caches seem to be few and far between. I think you have done a great job on placement with this one. Thanks an old hag

Lokipagan and I pulled up at this one - thankfully no muggles were near GZ. Loki soon had the cache in hand before I started my search. Another clever little container - and a nice little park. TFTC an old hag Smile
