Arrived today to fit another new seal for the cache.
Unable to do so as the container is not where it should be.
How can one hide cause so much grief in such a short time.

Unable to explain why cache is missing and why sealing rings go missing so regularly.
Especially when there have been NIL logged finds.
Time to open the area to NEW BLOOD as this one has sadly run its course.

After leaving the annual Christmas event I decided to go wash the car. Driving down the back streets to dry it off and passing this lovely maintained park I wondered if it had a cache. Stopped checked the app and saw I had a green dot. Time to change that into a smiley
Sat under the shade read some logs and the saw the numerous maintenance logs.
Looked up from my phone to try and guage where it might be where my eye caught a glint. The longer I sat and stared the more I knew I had spotted what I needed.
Waited until the neighbouring muggle had finished packing their car before I wandered over to stamp the log.
While the cache has only had one maybe two finders previously on this new log book, it's damp again.
I can say for certain it was securely done up and I made sure it was left the same way.
The smaller versions of this type have a rubber seal, I noted this has no seal. Maybe that might help to keep the log book dry. Just a thought if there is ongoing issue with dampness.
Was anxious the neighbours would hear me... it sure was noisy opening and closing
Happy to have found this one.

4 weeks ago I replaced the original container with an Officially made cache container with a Brand New seal.
I'm amazed that the container is faulty.
Will check this week to rectify, once again!

2nd visit... was on the walk-out with heels scuffing, but happened to turn my head and the sun happened to be positioned just right! thanks. TB taken. (log damp = praps take pen over pencil)
Taking off line due to finders not closing container each time.
Have replaced logbook 6 times over the last 2 months.
Makes it difficult for the non numbers players.
Very annoying

Took a while to find but using hints, we managed to find it successfully. Unfortunately the log was much too wet to write on so instead we took a photo.
Overall a great cache for anyone to find!

Good cache. Took a bit of time to find and I swear I looked at where it was a few times and didn't see it. We were at the point of walking away and there it was!

It really is one of those "you can't see it until you see it, then you can't not see it" caches.

Checked this morning, it is in its correct hiding place.
Furthermore how is it possible that Basic Members are able to log finds on a Premium Member only hide without the corresponding dated Premium Member log as their chaperone????

Cache was in a really nice secluded park, perfect to stop for a bit. Cache was hidden in a clever spot. Re-tightened the cap as requested. TFTC
New logbook and cleaned up the camo, replaced "o" ring.
Please ensure the cache is done up to stop the water getting in.

Off line until I can replace the log book.
If you choose to do this cache in the mean time, you are welcome to place a clean sheet in it.
It is underwhelming that cachers do not close the cache fully so it seals it from the weather.

This was a more of a challenging one to find, I felt like I was never going to find it, the paper is a bit soggy and wet
Found it! Finally!
I made the first attempt about 6 years ago, on 19 August 2016. It was a failure. CO made a note to confirm the cache is still there.
Then, second has been made after about one year, on 6 March 2017. Still nothing. CO made a note again, to confirm the cache is still there.
Two more years passed, and I several more attempts have been made. End up nothing. DNF third time on 26 August 2019. CO made a note, to confirm the cache is still there.
Then I noticed the co-ords have been updated.
Today, I went to Oakden for business. Then I tried this cache as it's 5 minutes away by car. This time, I tried the new co-ords, and finally found the cache!
It took me about 6 years, to find this easy traditional cache! And the cache grow from 4 years old to 10 years old.
Tried really hard to sign the log sheet, as it is soggy.
Thanks for the cache, Team IMP666! Glad I can turn the blue sad face to yellow smiley face!

Found this one eventually after I read some old logs and then set my sights higher. The cache log is sodden, which is surprising given the container type. A lady arrived on a bike carrying her dog just as I spotted the cache so we had a quick chat about geocaching before we both went our separate ways. Tftc
What a nice little park to spend some time searching for a cache. Guided by the description and the hint I narrowed down the search area and found the cache shortly after.
These sorts of hides are very interesting. At first you can’t see it for the life of you. But once you do happen to spot it, you wonder why it took so long.
Logbook is very damp. I just managed to get my name in but have taken a photo for evidentiary purposes.
Thanks for the cache Team IMP666.

Sadly DNF - found the one around the corner so maybe on a tangent but beaten this time with mini geos - we will be back.
After a DNF I decided maybe it needed checking. Dropped by on the way home from work and the cache is in its proper position.
Will check Friday on the way home from work.
Will take a new log book and fresh camo just ensure a few yellow smileys can be awarded.

Searched amongst a lot of foliage & rocks without any luck with Peas&CarrotsForever.
After much too long I dragged WhiteKatt back here to have another look around. We have up after 45 mins the last time. We looked back through the logs and moved a bit from where the GPS pointed and she managed to spot it.
I am very happy to turn that frown upside down into a smilie. TFTC.

Knew what to look for this time round, having done one around the corner! A very cute cat greeted us from the car parks TFTC
While the weather was a bit cooler today I headed out to grab a few caches in the north eastern suburbs. A nice mix of trads, puzzles, multis and labs were found. All caches (bar one) were in good condition. I looked for, and found in a surprisingly quick manner, both Amongst the Authors and Amongst the Car Parts and Vege's. TFTC
I came here over 8 years ago and had a dnf. Today o made the relatively easy find.

Looked for this one for a while, then did the one around the corner so knew what to look for. TFTC at long last
I don’t know if we are just incompetent but this series is impossible to find. Not a fan of caches amongst heaps of bark and foliage

This afternoon after work, I decided to head north-east, spending time in Gilles Plains and Modbury. With limited time left in Adelaide, I tried to concentrate on the higher D-T geocaches, but otherwise making stops at any other caches along the way. As my outing approached dinner time, I decided to then return home.
This was a nice reserve. A previous find of the CO’s helped to narrow my focus, and consequently, I managed to make the cache find within a few minutes. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks Team IMP666 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

I had come over this side of town for a brekky event close by and I decided to continue on and find a few caches while I was here. [^]
This one had been a previous DNF in July 16 so I was keen to come and have another look. After finding another of the CO's caches around the corner I knew what to look for and it didn't take long to find it this time.
Thanks for the cache Team IMP666.

After the nearby Vegan event where no one ate Vegan I decided to spend the rest of the day collecting caches in the Northern suburbs. Found 20 or so and managed to avenge some prior dnf which was great. Managed to get sun burn on my neck what a change in the weather to yesterday.

Out and about with my wheeled geobuddy on the first sunny Friday in 3 weeks! An easy find logbook was nice and dry. TFTC left a Twinkle Star
After finding a similar hide around the corner I managed to make a quick find here. Cache is all good
Today I went out for an afternoon drive collecting a few caches here and here will no real plan on what to find. I made my way from the city to the north eastern suburbs before heading home. 20 caches ticked off for the day.
Thanks for the cache

Sadly, could not find the cache :’) I did find a chocolate egg probably apart of someone’s previous easter egg hunt though haha. Will definitely try to find again.
Like all good racetracks this employs a hairpin very well. Good idea. Luckily I persisted and had seen another one of your hides earlier. Thanks for the cache Imp666

No luck today!! I think i jinxed us. Will need to come back and try again next time !
Still "On Fire" from the previous hide found nearby I made quick work of this one SL at 14:50 on Sat 17 Feb 2018. [It wasn't immediate but it was found and i'm glad coz I don't normally do well with these kind of hides ha ha ]
The cache and contents are all good and dry [^] TFTC Team Holden
{I had to have a chuckle when I read the Owner Maintenance log, dated 30/3/2017... the part which reads: "Please be advised that this hide is for some reason a difficult one, even I spend 5 minutes trying to locate it". That is Gold That's the reason why I struggle with these types of hide, they are incredibly sneaky... it takes a very good eye to spot them lol }

Look for this one once before and couldnt find it. Today i came up trumps. The hint is a good clue however there are hint of chrome coming through.

A perfect Spring day for a drive around in north east Adelaide again.
A lot more muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.

Had a look, read some logs, had a look and there it was! Log a bit damp TFTC 4/12/2016 5:26 pm Find #1625
kiwiaussie got the find on this one. found about 4 metres from where the gps said it was supposed it be. a muggle and dog didn't make the looking any easier.
Had our second look at this one this year without any luck. It's been a while since the last find. Perhaps this one has been muggled?
Friday night caching with JJ52, it was an Owl and BFE focussed night, picking up some solved puzzles and nearby trads.
We spent a fair amount of time here looking for this one and in the end we gave up, not even sure exactly what we were looking for [?] and having read the logs and realising this one is hard to find.
Maybe next time!

Ismartis and I had solved a few puzzles out this way and decided we would come out here on a cold wet Friday night to find the caches.
We stopped off here to have a look for this one and even after reading previous logs we could not find it tonight. Not knowing what style of hide we were looking for we didn't persist and will try and find one of the others to give us a bit of a clue.

This one is a bit of a doozy. Reading through the logs made me think it would be difficult. After a long search we called it a day. Could feel it snickering at us.
Having DNFed this one a couple of years ago, decided to come back and have another crack at it. Having had a good read over the previous logs, we got a little hint as to where it might be. Searched high and low couldn't find it, nearly gave up when D spotted a little something.

Our second atempt to find this one. At least the with the sun out this time, searching was a little easier :cP Still not the easiest find... that is, until the name of the cache finally clicked :c) Oh... amongst the...! So we focus our seached in a likely area a few meters from the posted GZ. There it was, starring us in the face! Glad to finally earn a smilely for this one. TFTC Team Holden :c)
Well, well, well!! This cache has had me racking my brain for a while... with a little help I finally can log this one (only visited it around 7 times)
Went this morning before it was to hot. Took me a little while then yes yes yes found it signed it and replaced it.

That was a little more difficult than expected. We had GZ some meters away but fortunately a previous log gave us a hint as to where a more likely place would be. After searching for a while the Snake finally made the find a a log signed. Thanks for this sneaky little hide.
we arrived at the appointed GZ, searched no find.

Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. Finally. This one had become a nemesis cache. Was on the way to work so had called in regularly but till today had not found it. Called in on it today after visiting a nearby shop and after parking nearby and wandering over to GZ it looked different and spotted the cache immediately. Retrieved the log and signed it and replaced it. Relieved to be able to claim the smiley. Gratias pro cache.
