Regrettably, I have to concur with the previous two logs. Could I suggest the CO puts a new container in place, as the spot deserves a cache?
This cache has nor been found for a while. I wonder why?
There's a newly paved footpath. Most of the poles have been replaced, but not this one. There is nothing removable on this pole though it's easy to see where a silver micro would be visible approaching the Toll House. I suggest it is gone.

Couldn’t find this one. New pathing recently installed, might have hidden cache for good.
Coming home from Invercargill, had to be in Mosgiel be 5.00 pm to pick up a trailer.
Just one more!
I had seen this on the way down and was fascinated to see it was in good condition so wanted to stop on the way home to have a close up look and find a cache!
Thanks

.Rolled up to this toll booth and the search party was on. Finally I spotted a cable tie but no container. This one has gone AWOL. But no worries I have arranged a replacement to keep this one rolling along. Cheers
Its Wednesday 24 April and we are off exploring Milburn, Lawrence and Lake Mahinarangi today. Awesome!!
Its another awesome geoventure to Dunedin, with The Seagnoid, Zara, Toby, Jack, Jill and William all along for the trip. Had a wonderful 10 days exploring Dunedin. It was great catching up with local cachers at several events we attended. Lots of walking and driving, with the odd cycle and wave ride to jazz things up. Thanks to all the COs that made this trip a wonderful success. Even managed to bag some lab caches along with wherigos, earth caches and events, with the usual mix taking us to some amazing places..

Found the cable tie, but no cache. Taybeedragon installed a replacement. Pretty flash for a toll booth!
Taybeedragon and I have an eleven day Easter weekend in Dunedin. Although, let's face it, given that we are from Blenheim and Picton that means two of those days was spent in travelling. In that time we grabbed a smidge over three hundred caches. Not bad, considering the amount of time spent way out on the back roads, on bicycles or canoeing on the water. A few virtuals, larges, letterboxes, earths, wherigos, and even ten lab caches in the haul. An awesome weekend!

A recent ain’t job here and scaffolding put up today. Unable to search as neighbours either side both out chopping wood
Think this is missing as nothing in obvious places for it to be but then I messaged someone who has found it and they mentioned another place it could be if they remembered correctly. Anyway it is one to come back for and have another look for. Interesting that they are doing up the building.
The last weekend of school holidays. On a nice weekend to found this one.

On our way to Dunedin by Catlins. One of those places one would have missed except for caching. Soon found stamped and returned. TFTC
We are on our summer holiday driving around the South Island with no real idea of where we will end up each day. We are often drawn to an area that has the potential to give us a few geocaching smilies and somewhere we have not spent time exploring before. In some cases we are revisiting placed that we have been before but liked so much we are going there again.
hat is a cute little building with a lot of interesting history The cache was soon spotted but I could not open the cache so I had to call gk to come and do it for me. The log signed and we returned it as we found it.
Thank you for placing this cache and thank you for the smiley

Interesting place. The cache was a quick find, but logging was difficult because the logbook is very wet and you have to be careful not to destroy the logbook while logging.
Today we made a trip from Dunedin via Milton, Balclutha, and the Catlins to finally Invercargill, visiting some new sightseeing locations and looking for old caches. On this trip we searched, found and logged a lot of caches, too. The weather was warm in the morning and in the afternoon, but no rain at all.
Almost no muggels observed us as they had other things to do than observing harmless geocachers.
Thanks to AdventureTharon for showing us this location and for the fun we had at Toll Booth (Otago). The search we had here today didn't take too much time.
Greetings from Germany and hope to see you soon in the forest.

Fantastic cache. Driven past many times and never knew it was there, despite gazing with interest at the toll booth. TFTC.
Read the history of this cache so I decided to make this one the last for the night. Interesting read. TFTC AdventureTharon

Interesting old toll house. In England our old toll houses are usually hexagonal. The cache was a quick find. Out caching with Will of the Wisp on our “Round the World in 80 Days” trip to celebrate retirement. Signing logs with our names or initials depending on space. Greetings from England, TFTC.
My second visit here, don't know how I missed it last time as i could see it as I approached today. Maybe shorter grass and a bit more geo-savvy...Tftc
Down from Northland for a few days for a short visit and just had to make sure of a cache or three each day. Today the weather was a bit better, but still much more like early winter than summer.
On our way back now towards Dunedin. Parked up on the side of the road near GZ and looked around for a possible hide location. With the good hint, the cache was soon found where described. Signed the log and replaced safe and secure as found. TFTC

We stopped here aon our way to Dunedin. Nice little green house, with so e sheeps resting in front of us.
With good coordinates and the hint the small one was found easily. And then we went back into the flow of the highway.
Thanks for the cache and best wishes from Germany!

Thanks driving home from invercargill targetted three cache. First one someone stopped nearby. Second one a DNF. So third time lucky.
Day three of my long, long weekend in Otago and Southland and I’m loving every moment of it. Woke this morning in my Airbnb in Winton to the sound of rain so I was a little downcast thinking I was back to wet shoes and socks for the day. However, my fears were misjudged as the day was crisp and clear. Left Winton with a good impression and more than I arrived (pre-arrival all I knew that the only woman hanged in New Zealand, Minnie Dean, came from here).
Making good progress heading towards Dunedin. Too good a progress and have ended up with a speeding ticket just outside Clinton. Oh well, these things happen. A quick find here and I'm back on the way towards Dunedin. Interesting history of this little building. TFTC

No surprise that it's a soggy log after the recent deluge! Super friendly neighbours
Quick find on a drizzly morning traveling up in a convoy on the way to Dunedin for an event. A small over excited dog spotted us and blew our cover immediately. Tftc
Ha. I went straight to this one without taking the time to think about my route. Soon found myself with soaking wet shoes. Bother. Never mind, it was worth it for the smiley gained. Tftc
I'm on a south island tour on my recumbent bike and stayed at the Milton Motor Camp last night. Going to Dunedin today. TFTC.
We stopped here on our way south - but not to pay a Toll. Interesting bit of history. Thanks.
There has been quite a lot of discussion of late in Auckland as to whether Tolls (but not Toll Houses) should be re-introduced.

#126 first visit back to the hometown since I took up geocaching. Thought I'd start with this one and had eyes on as soon as I pulled up. Interesting to find out about the history of this little booth, all those years and I had no idea! TFTC
Big and shiney and more time was spent crossing the road than finding the cache. Gave the slip a wipe out and SL. TFTC
Quick park and grab in the rain. More scratched my name on log than wrote it, trying to hurry to stay dry. An upset dog across the road couldn't help barking at us the whole time. TFTC
Day # 2 in New Zealand on a geocaching holiday-trip covering Thailand, Australia and finally my beloved NZ .
I had so much looked forward to return to this beautiful country, and now I'm here again - awesome!
Today the journey took me southward from Dunedin to Invercargill and Bluff . Took a detour to cover more caches on the route
Mission accomplished!
At the end of the busy day I arrived in Bluff after driving approximately 300 km with my cute little green car and had happily collected 28 caches on the route and in Buff [^].
This one was a cute little takeaway at the side of the road .
Hey - New Zealand, you have awesome caches [^] [:X]! Almost all in great shape. [^]
So thanks to all the Owners involved [:X] [:X] for hiding and maintaining. [^]
Cheers from Germany

Building is still in really good condition. Pity it can't be used for something interesting so people can see in it

In Dunedin for a short work visit and had some time today to find a few caches. Decided to head south to claim our southern most cache in Milton and then work my way back towards the airport. Weather was a bit patchy but found some fine spells between showers to gab a few caches. Made a quick stop but didnt see the cache as was advertised in the description
Luckily a helpful neighbour yelled out the window that it was there and with very loud neighbourhood dogs egging me on I finally found the cache. TFTC!

An opportune time to grab some P'n'Gs on a push northwards before the storm to check in on some cause célèbres. Not particular to hides too close to towns this trip but I had made some exceptions for quick easy finds. Giggles I was thinking of something else when I approached the GZ and seen something wery shiney peep-peeping back at me. Yes!, the log paper was a little wet but quickly dried things up on cloth from my kit. Pen writes wery well on the RITR paper and all was put back together and re-hidden. TFTC
I was on an unexpected trip to the Airport and i thought i had to locate a couple of caches on the way.. of which this was one. A lovely little toll house. The hint certainly helped here. Log book was a bit wettish and names are dissolving a bit. I took a photo which i will log. Thank you for the cache and another smiley face.
Heading to Central and our second time looking for this one. Previously had to abandon search as too much traffic and farmer muggles near by. This time was less busy and just a barking dog across the road. Nice quick find by J. TFTC
Holidaying in the area with tmann421 and collecting some caches along the way.

The last time we visited New Zealand in 1998, we missed the Milford Sound because of lack of time.
Now, as W is working in Sydney and C is visiting him, it was very close by.
So we decided to turn her visit into a small New Zealand vacation.
And off course this can't be done without a few geocaches.
A few turned into about 150 of them.
We started in Queenstown, but this time no bungy jumping anymore.
At the airport we switched the gsm-card to a NZ one, with internet access.
That way we would be able to check for recent logs and spoiler photos.
After we got our rental car we started the gps.
We're not used to driving on the left side of the road, but that was no problem with all the road signs.
During our last visit it was summer, now it was autumn.
The weather looked more like home, but we had our umbrella and raincoat with us, which we used a lot.
At the Milford Sound the rain was an advantage, as the rainfalls were huge.
Only C went to this one, her shoes were more waterresistent.
It didn't took het long to find this one

TFTC. Terrific cache however I couldn't sign the log as I couldn't get it out of the cache
Had this cache lined up for last time I was in Central so good to get a smiley today.
A gorgeous tollbooth that people wouldn't begrudge so much! A quick find but had difficulty unscrewing so had to call for reinforcements from the car. TFTC
TFTC.
Interesting to learn about this little building, which I have passed by so many times and knew nothing about. Thanks
(I put the wrong date in log book 7th instead of 6th)

Another stop and grab on our way down. A short walk to GZ and after some time I spotted the small container. The dog was barking but I could sign the log without muggles.

A quick park and grab on the way back to Dunedin while working. All way wondered what this wee house was for. TFTC ☺
