Found. Got worried that it would drive us off a cliff but didn't thank goodness!
Found it! But wasn't sealed properly and the water has managed to get in. Everything inside is wet including log book!
A slow meander around Point Roadknight back streets, finding Soapy rock an area I had heard of but not visited. Great to finally be here thanks to Happiikat. Easy one to find, but difficult to remain muggle free.
Log signed and container in good order. Put back exactly as requested.
Many years ago in the good ol bad days we would launch our power boats at Roadknight to travel to the offshore reefs in order to dive on the shipwrecks. This was prior to legislation protecting the historic value of these wrecks. Indeed, we contributed to discovering some of them. A great thrill for us and I guess our contribution to the History of the area.
TFTC Happiikat.

This was a very interesting part of the coastline. We noticed how slippery parts were. Fortunately there was not much precipitation today so we were able to make our way safely to gz where we found the cache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache Happiikhat and for taking us on a lovely walk

**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during VIC Mega events and possibly a few random ones I forgot during other trips into Mexico. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
Out and about on this Um.......... Fine day getting as many caches as I can before I head off. What a weekend it's been some multis mysterys night caches, heaps of trads, mega, cito, and a few events. Thanks surf coast for a great weekend out.
Found it! So another Mega is done, we came, we saw, we met, we won (a ribbon) and now as we prepare to leave lovely Anglesea we took a walk along the cliff top to grab a final couple before Morcs4 and ourselves part ways (well until later in the week anyways). We were about to contemplate jumping the gate for this one before a fellow cacher (quite a few about for some reason.) pointed out the opening a few meters away. Once we had leaped the Grand Canyon we had this one logged in a few minutes. Rather than move back up to track we decided to continue our walk along the beach and admire the cliffs from the bottom up...TFTC...
Friday night, under cover of darkness, SEMIK and I ventured over the border on a late night run to attend the Surf Coast Mega event. Sadly, today was the day we had to leave, but not before picking up a few more caches in the area around Anglesea, and indulging in some fantastic chocolate.
Probably my favourite part of our caching adventure today was wandering through the shoreline to get to this (and another nearby) cache. The views up here are fantastic, and we managed to work our way right to the waters edge. Thanks for bringing us here.
This was find number 6 of 13 for the day for me. TFTC Happiikhat!

The cliffs on the way to this cache were a really brilliant orange today. Once I worked out how to reach the container it was no problem finding the cache.
Certainly wouldn't be swimming here.

Geohubby set off to go and do this one, while I rested in the geomobile. He had only just disappeared down the walkway, when a vehicle with the telltale flapping flags pulled up. It was none other than Lukie1987 and his cacher buddy. We have previously cached Phillip Island with Luke, so I told him that if he was quick, he would be able to catch up with him. TFTC
Down for the weekend with 6hinemoa2 for the Surf Coast Mega. Enjoyed the walk today and amazed at the orange cliffs. 6H2 managed the retrieval. Thanks Happiikhak
Surf Coast Mega 2016. A great weekend of caching and socialising.
After catching up with a few people at the Mega and making some purchases we headed out to find some caches before we headed home.

Our goal today was to enjoy a day of sight seeing while at the Surfcoast Mega Event. Thanks for another enjoyable cache to highlight the area.
Mark&Kelly and I wanted to do a few caches (really) after the Mega and so we headed to the beach and cliff. After coming across another cacher we located and signed the log and decided to keep going along the beach as the tide was going out and it was different from everything we had been doing for the Mega. thanks for the cache Happiikhat. Time to go and get some chocolate and do and pick up the kids.
Found as Nicnax with WeRAmused and MazzyMay. This took us for a bit of a walk while out and about collecting lab caches and enjoying the area. TFTC
While en route to the nearby earth cache we spotted this and made the short detour to GZ. Nice but of colour around the the SPOR was soon spotted and the cache found. We completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.
After a lovely dinner at the surf life saving club, Brad&Janet and I had a little bit of daylight left for two quick caches with an interesting D/T rating.
For this cache the biggest issue was to determine how to get to the right track, but once that was sorted the path to the cache and the cache itself were quickly located. No nasty slip ups on this soapy cache.

Parrots are heading over the border to attend the 2016 Surf Coast event.
I had time for a couple of caches before heading out to a dinner with the other reviewers .
Parked and walked along the trail to find this one

Down on the surf coast enjoying the MEGA. Had completed the Lab caches with Au fait and we're now cruising the area grabbing some caches. Enjoyed the walk and the view to this cache. Quick find. TFTC Happiikhat. Carried out some CITO here as it was desperately needed.
Over for the Surf Coast Mega with tmann421 enjoying the area and collecting caches along the way.
Thanks to all the CO's for adding to the enjoyment of this fun trip and TFTC

At last the start of the Mega. After the opening ceremony I thought that I would wander around and clear up a few caches in the area. This one involved a reasonable walk with an unreasonable incline. A quick find. TFTC.
Janet and I are attending the Anglesea Surf Coast Mega. After an evening meal with friends we decided to try to grab a couple more of less common DT combinations. This was one. A pleasant stroll as dusk approached. Found in the first place we looked. Love that.

Found at 7:32 AM GAFF5 in the company of xambo4u.
On an early morning caching run to get to 19,999 cache finds before attending the mega event.
Pretty sure we have been here before doing Mr Emu caches about 6 years ago. Lovely scene below looking at the fishermen and the ocean below.
Thanks Happiikhat.

We found this cache today at 2:20pm as number 11 of 20 on our Surf Coast Event Wander. Picked this one up on the way back to the car from 'Middling'. Thanks from D & HA B-A.
Found It!
A nice little walk down to GZ after working out how to get to the car park! And a quick find to!

In town for the Mega so becca85 and I decided to leave our kids with muggle hubbies and head out for a morning of kid free caching! A lovely walk in - hope to come back and explore this trail on another occasion. A quick find with stunning views. Many thanks
A nice walk in and a quick find.
With the Surf Coast Mega upon us, we decided to make a long weekend of it and head up early.
This morning the kids decided that fishing with the Muggle Dads was their preferred option and so GemmaSistema and I headed off for a morning of caching.
With only 2 smilies in this area, found during a roadtrip over a year ago, there were plenty of awesome places to explore. A great weekend was had. TFTC!

Using your great directions we headed for the rock. At first we thought it was a letterbox hybrid as we found a stamp inside , then finding it was a local cacher's stamp , we realised it must have been left behind on a previous find.
Thanks Happiikhat for the placement.
Thanks Happiikhat for the placement.
An absolute treat. Slight risky off the path, but dry today so no problems walking on the surface. Evidence of "partying" close by too. Cache in place, but slight worried about the political log left a while ago! All good TFTC and bringing me here on foot!
Found on a lovely beach walk with visiting friends
Have walked past this spot heaps of times but finally stopped to look
Apart from being harassed by the ants we loved this one

Spent a little longer looking here than I should have, but found it in the end. TFTC
#12 for today. What a great view of Point Roadnight. Thanks for bringing us here. Geopup loved the run along the beach, being a country dog he doesn't get to do it often. Log signed and trackable 4 KBG5Y taken. TFTC
Found on a gorgeous winter day walk. Great. Lots of new planting going on to stabilise the cliffs. TB out and Joe TB in.
A beautiful spot to explore!!!! And an amazing geocache box full of goodies to trade. Fun with geokids +++
Staying in accommodation at Anglesea, and what better way to discover an area then by caching it out ))))) TFTF.
We headed down to Anglesea today to scope out the area before the MEGA later in the year.
The rain held off for most of the day and the town was pretty quiet.
Thanks for hiding the cache for us to find.
We slipped around on the way top this one. Should have jumped the gate a bit further on thean the track in we took i think.

Found with Mum, Dad and Eddie.
We got thoroughly wet at the stops as I wanted to jump in the puddles at literally every cache.
Still a fun day in the wet weather.

The geo kiddies and I decided to make our way down to Anglesea for the day even with morning raining and not so nice looking clouds. Thankfully when we arrived in the area, the sun was out and it ended up a really nice day. This one ended up being an adventure for us today. I thought the cache wold be located lower so we went down only to have to come backup. I got to within 16m before i had to go down a little gully. The geo kidies thankfully stayed back as dad went down and did i go down. The bank was so slippery on I was quickly covered in all sorts of mud. Hands, back, bum, GPS all caked in mud. Thankfully my daughter had a camera to take a photo of poor dad but was concerned for me too, bless her. A quick find once in place and with all the excitement, I think I left or dropped my stamp in the pit of mud. I ended up in my jocks once back at the car and it didn't stop me from grabbing a few more sneaky caches around the town in my jocks lol. Signed and returned as found.
**Thanks for this trad cache, Happiikhat** [^]
**Log and container in good condition.**
**Took Nothing, Left Nothing.**

Thought I'd take a "different approach" to this one - I paddled over from Anglesea Main on a Rescue Board, then followed through to Point Roadknight for the cache over there.
Thanks, Happikhat!
Thanks, Happikhat!
Decided to take on the Great Ocean Road for the leap weekend. A range of caches tackled in some great spots. Wonderful spot, thanks for bring us here.
What an amazing view! I stupidly left the camera in the car! TFTC. TB dropped off in his new home. From the McPhail family
Amazing view for our travel companion. Thanks for the memories! From the McPhail family
Geoboy and dad made an early morning find, as the lightning flashed and the thunder rumbled all around. Rain held off til we closed the box but we got quite wet by the time we got back to the car. Ahh well, them's the breaks
Out for a day of caching with a non-caching mate. You can read the log for Middling cache if you want to know a) why we approached this from the beach, b) walked past it without noticing and c) did it when on the way back to the beach. Not our finest hour! Found it and dropped in a geonickel, SL, traipsed back down to the beach and walked back to Pt Roadknight boat ramp where the car was waiting. Last one for the day! TFTC!
Thanks for the cache Happiikhat took the long way around for this one, after having walked along the path to the lifesaving club and then along the beach realised that I had allready passed the cache and would have to get back up a lot higher than I was, cache was eventually found and log signed.
Quick and easy find for the first geocache for the day
Have walked past here numerous times but have never had a reason to stop

Found my way in through the thoughtful gap in the fence. A fine autumnal morning. Surf not quite happening for those catching a wave nearby. TFTC
With oldest geoson not feeling the best but needing to get the younger geokids out of the tent we decided on a few drive and cache finds. We parked nearby and this time geohubby and geoson aged 5 made the walked to gz. They enjoyed the walk and finding the cache and came back with big smiles.

Good find, shame about all the broken glass, some people just have to ruin great places for every one. Geokids had a blast.
Beautiful walk did it the hard way along the beach front at high tide, a bit of climbing to be don
