This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache.
If you plan on repairing this cache, please log a note to the cache (not email) within the next 30 days so I don't archive the listing for non-communication.

This cache hasn’t been sighted for a year. The area at GZ was destroyed by the 2019/2020 fires and likely destroyed the cache too.
It was going to be quite warm in Canberra today so I decided to escape the heat out at the coast for the day. Moruya was to be the focus today and it was great to see the area green after a long drought and a difficult summer. It didn't start well with about 7 DNFs. I did not know what was going wrong. Some, I guess were bushfire victims, but not all. Once I found a few it got a lot better. I was enjoying it so much I missed lunch and was still caching at 6pm when my tummy began to rumble & I thought it was time to head home. The trip back up Clyde mountain was in thick fog, but there was no traffic. I was spoilt once I got to the top as I got to see one of the most spectacular sunsets almost all the way back to Canberra. All in all, a great day out at the coast.
I think the fire got this one.
Thanks anyway 6 Weeds

Attempted this cache with my mate Ewan while on an afternoon walk around Broulee. Ewan had already found this one a few years ago and decided to take me to it. The whole area around GZ has been burnt out, thankfully the fire didn't cross the road and reach the houses. I'm afraid the cache may have been a victim of the fires though. Might need replacing. The old gum looks like it will survive despite being badly burnt on the outside, the flames didn't reach the tall canopy.
Out with ilook4geo doing a caching run today and having a heap of fun as well. This was an easy cache to find and was put back as it had been found after the signing duties had been done. Thanks f=go to 6 Weeds for placing this cache.
Had a very good day out today with goingplaces2 and found a lot of fun caches. Some were harder to find, some imaginative, some were easy, but all were very enjoyable. TFTC.
I parked on the main road,
and scrunched through the scenery behind the houses to GZ
A good option,
as the trees keep you hidden from any muggles in their gardens

I took a torch and mirror to search one place; but then spotted the cache in a different place. TFTC 6 Weeds.
We cycled through Broulee from the caravan park to pick this cache up. Geocaching is a great excuse to get some exercise and explore places. TFTC

Canberra to Moruya to Bega to Cooma weekend caching circuit with AngelG27. After joining up with 17 others (including kids) to walk from the airport to Broulee, followed by lunch at the surf club, we spent the rest of the afternoon caching around Broulee. Initially looked in the hiding spot but didn't see it. After searching further afield I returned for a deeper look and found it. TFTC.

A caching mission! This time organised by KittyKatch to grab some new caches from Moruya to Broulee. Quite a few us joined the walk on a lovely Saturday . TikvaNZ joined me for the drive and we decided to grab a few more caches beforehand and afterwards. We ended up doing a caching circuit, Canberra to the Bay, Moruya, Bega and then up the hill to Cooma and home again. A fantastic trip planned!!
This cache: TikvaNZ tramped around GZ twice before making the find!
Thanks 6 Weeds for the cache and the fun!

The hardest part of this cache hunt was finding a way into GZ from George Bass Drive. Once there, accurate coordinates and a logical hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Then, of course, there was a geotrail out which made exiting much easier. Thanks 6 Weeds for the cache.
Found!!!!!! Thanks for bringing us here, quick cache on the way to army cadets!! Left taj mahal traveling so please move it on when you find it
A quick find allowed us to move along nicely. Good sized container with everything in tact. Thanks for this placement!

Spending another day exploring this beautiful region. My aim was to get to Moruya finding as many caches as possible along the way. I first tried to attack this cache from the main road then realised I should try a different route so drove in. Cache was soon discovered and the log signed. Thanks 6 Weeds for the hide.

Came to this cache while on a venturers weekend nearby. Very rainy today, perfect time to find a cache.... when isn’t?
No pen with me so a selfie with the log sheet will have to do.
Cheers

Found with Shelley0 on our great week in and around BB. Fishing, swimming, golfing, rockhopping, and generally touring around this great part of the country. So, so jealous.
We came from the internal road here and made a quick find.

Easy to pass by this one but we found it with Spiderhouse. I have had this one as draft for six months and had forgotten about it. Better late than never eh!
Overshot gz, so had to turn around and go back. Must have been the strong wind today.
Thanks 6 weeds.
Thanks 6 weeds.
Took a couple of minutes searching to find this one. Thanks for the cache. A nice spot. Signed Cbr.
Just got to the coast and thought I could pick up one before heading to unpack. Quick park and grab from the main road. Although could have come from the houses side close by too. I really like the big tree at GZ. Tftc 6 Weeds!!!
There were two fairly obvious hiding spots here but we couldn't find a cache in either. Checked other areas too but no luck for us here. Thanks.
Found with nissan 65 . Staying down south for a few days caching. Thankyou for the cache
Just a piece of useless information: Bega cheese has just bought the makers of the original contents of this container. Picked up a Canadian Travel Bug & will take it with us on our trip next week. Definitely a big specimen but just having visited Tasmania this is a juvenile. Kutgw
Well, it's amazing how nature can really inspire you even on a busy road right next to suburbia. TFTC. And thanks to whichever wise planning official left a small strip of bush here!
Most of the morning was wasted while waiting for the rest of our camping crew to arrive, and then it took even longer to get out to the beach. After all that it was only about 15minutes in the surf before they got it too sleep in the beach!
Well with everyone else lying about I got about to find some caches before we go to a festival in later this afternoon.
This one was an easy find especially with no muggles about.
Thanks for the cache.

Today we explored Tomakin and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. An easy find.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

An nice quick roadside cache. I was spotted by a dog taking it's muggles for a walk, but they all showed no interest, except the dog, who wondered why I wasn't walking on the road and voiced his opinion on that. Cache quickly retrieved, signed and replaced. TFTC.
Now thats a gum tree. Quick find with Justjessie on our winter escape to the coast. TFTC.
On holidays in mossy point. We decided to on a geocache hunt.
Well-placed cache, love the location. TFTC

Found on our trip to Batemans Bay. We got this last cache in Mossy Point before heading back to the Bay to meet Dad. As we approached the cache, we noticed some people at GZ - turns out that they were also geocaching! Very nice to meet you guys! After signing the log, we were gone in 30sec. Nice little spot. TNLNSL. TFTC 6 Weeds!
After reading previous log we drove around to GZ and made a quick find signed and replaced. Bonus rain has stopped for a little while. TFTC
Lost my pen bushwalking through the heavy scrub. Was questioning the star rating for terain and had to laugh when we arrived at gz.. so much easier to access from other road. Tftc!
I am house sitting up near Batemans Bay for two weeks.
So I am out and about visiting the local towns and finding caches as I go.
Driving north along the coast stopping for a few caches.
A quick find. [^]

Headed out from Bateman Bay to do some more caches nearby and this was one we found. A quick find in a new housing area. I wonder if the houses came after the cache was placed. TFTC
Arrived at our campsite at Moruya. After a short lunch break we headed out with pprass to look for caches in the area.

Found at 2:35 PM GAFF1 in the company of DiMorgan.
We know a lot about George Bass's exploits from his exploration of the Victorian coast. One of our caches in Kilcunda Vic uses the dimension of the whale boat that he travelled on for a multi question [^]
Thanks 6 Weeds.
