I noticed that some very prompt maintenance has happened here, so I’m back to remove the blue face from the map. Thanks to mogni and sir_spectre for the placement and maintenance here. That certainly was an unforgettable moment - that look on Steve’s face!
Today with an event in the hills I left home early to collect a few caches in the hills before the event and stopped by 2 caches on the way home
At the start of last year is had 2 DNFs on this series back today to find some more 4 found.

Today, after participating in parkrun and completing an errand, I headed up to Bridgewater to find a few target caches that I had on my target list. I drove along Onkaparinga Valley Scenic detouring through Balhannah, Oakbank, and Woodside, and then returned to Adelaide via Carey Gully. A pleasant temperature day to be out in the hills.
I previously had a DNF here back on 11/04/2020 when the cache had been confirmed to be missing. A subsequent replacement by the CO allowed me to stop today and make the find. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [@mogni](http://coord.info/PR1NT8Z) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Quick find while doing an early morning hike with the Sunday Morning Walking Legends crew. TFTC
Found It!
If he'd won it by actually been faster then the rest of them, no one would remember him. But since the others fell over, he's the only winter Olympian we do remember!

Found it today. Obviously replaced since we last looked! No pen to write in the log unfortunately as we were just passing by we thought we’d check.
I had a glorious afternoon caching, in some of the warmest weather we have had for some time. I had the bike with me but decided to car hop most of these. I walked this group of four, quick finds, nice work. Thanks for the cache Mogni, love you work.
Steve Bradbury, what a classic. Has gone down in history as the essential spirit of Australians. Never give up, you never know what is going to happen.

Enjoying a beautiful winters day in the hills and finding a few caches along the way.
Cleaning up a few I had missed before. New cache and logs were dry despite the very wet weather which was nice. TFTC.
owner intervention has happened. I replaced the cache by co request after work. it's now a clip lock container that the co gave me ( small ). All ready to be found again.
The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Spent a good while and could not find. My son got stung by a rather large sized ant too.
Today with COVID-19 requirements still in effect, but fitness like cycling still being promoted, jesswrigley and I headed to Mount Torrens with our bikes, and cycled along the Amy Gillett Bikeway. The day was a little windy, with some grey skies, but once we got riding, we warmed up. We were surprised to see just how busy this bikeway was today, with many families and joggers out and about, whilst still trying to have social distance. We ended up riding from the start of the bikeway at Mount Torrens past Charleston, through Woodside, and making a U-turn just before Oakbank. A nice bakery lunch was had, and a cheeky stop into Melba's Chocolates. Not a bad adventure in the end!
Unfortunately I didn't score a Bradbury here, and despite a good search with jesswrigley, we couldn't locate the cache. There is probably a chance that this cache is still here, but if that is the case, it certainly isn't a Difficulty 1.5 cache then. Thanks anyway mogni.

Not having a good day today. But on the bright side, the geo-mutt had a great walk.

Glorious day for getting out on the mountain bike and collecting some well maintained caches. Of course I left plenty to get next time. Thanks Mogni

Another quick find along the bike path enjoying the beautiful day. This series has been great thank you CO for putting it together.

While on holidays, I've been completing parts of the Amy Gillett bikeway for my daily caches. The geo-dogs and I have enjoyed walking along the shady paths each evening.
Steve Bradbury - I clearly remember that race in the 2002 Winter Olympics. I couldn't believe it when the pile-up in the last lap took place. If you cross the line first -- you are the Winner! I was SO happy for him
Up this way riding my Deadly-Treadly along this bikeway in search of more hidden goodies Found this cache and SL of it at 08:18 on the hot and sunny day of Wed 29 Nov 2017. TFTC mogni

All Right !!
The absolutest, bestest, Aussie sporting memory ever !!
No sneaky tactics involved (like underarm bowling) [^]
No multi-millionaire crooks funding the attempt,
just good olde Aussie ingenuity
Funny stuff alright

Found it with CherryRose after lunch at the Balhannah Bakery. Beautiful winters day. TFTC TNLNSL
Cycled and cached the southern end of the Amy Gillett bikeway with the geowife, on a foggy, then sunny morning - gorgeous area and day for getting out. Found it in plain sight and signed log. Hid it with a bit of camo
This one took a while to find the GPS doesn't like the clouds and rain got there in the end TFTC mogni
One of seven finds today in the Sporting Memories series along the Amy Gillett bikeway. Great series, lots of fun to do with the kids.

A short walk up the path on a lovely sunny but cool morning. Easily spotted at GZ.

TNLNSL thanks for these - we are doing them in reverse order with our beagle who appreciates the walk. Storms have made this one damp.
With the year winding down I decided to head out to Woodside and Verdun to grab some more caches to go towards my 1000 for the year total. A quality day was had with a total of 31 finds being made. I was lucky to complete most of the Sporting Memories trail, hopefully I shall be back to grab the last few

Nice easy find with Wal & Ol while riding a section of the Amy Gillett bikeway. tftc!
I got bitten by a bull ant in the long grass so we beat a hasty retreat from this one.
Out with Mattycat for a wander along sporting memories managed to snag quite a few before the drizzle set in leaving us some for a return trip another day, thanks for the memory TFTC mogni
A short caching run with Mr and Mrs Froghoppin to clear off some caches between us.
Not having our bikes with us, we ran the entire length of the trail.
No.
Would you believe walked it quickly?
No.
Ok, well we hobbled along here and there hopping out of the car between showers... [:o)]
That's pretty much the only way I would win a race - if all the others fall over!
Cats don't do sports. But thanks for the memories and TFTC mogni

Accurate coordinates led to a quick find of this cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mogni for the cache.
Steve Bradbury, now thats the way us Aussies like to win. What a legend. I just got bitten by something as I replaced the cache. It stings like crazy. If this is my last cache I will die a happy cacher. Thanks mogni
Found during a day out in the hills with the sweatwheels.

Out on this beautiful spring day with Loulabelle, geodog, Mandy and muggle daughter. We walked the 7.5kms from just outside Oakbank to the last cache at Charleston. I don't think it was meant to take us 4 hrs but we weren't in a hurry. We saw a snake, lots and lots of ants, a few baby magpies, one was being fed by it's mother and another was trying to take-off to fly. There were a few muggles but not too many.
Our first find for the day. Walked off the track and straight into an inch ants nest. They were coming out of their hole. Luckily I noticed before they started crawling up my leg. Took the cache away to sign then quickly placed it back and moved on.
I remember when Steve Bradbury won his race at the Olympics. It was so unbelievable. How lucky was he though I imagine it would have taken a lot of time & effort to get there in the first place.

Found on a day when I exceeded the target that I had hoped for. I think that I saw this live on the TV. An amazing race.
Out with geo-boys and Uncle & Auntie on bikes. Splendid afternoon. TFTC Mogni
