Attempted this cache with Vanessa&Aodh tonight. We had got the ladder and V&A knew where it was but we were unsuccessful today. I then updated my cache page (previously stored) and discovered this was disabled. We don't like this cache!
Out with kmace for our second attempt at this dastardly cache. Actually, this was my third attempt. A few days after pnja had found this on the ground and retied it to a branch, I came along and saw it but couldn't reach it. I told Karen about it and we determined to go back and find this sucker. Last night we had a good look, and then I climbed up to where I'd seen it after pnja had tied it on, and all that was left was the string. No bison tubes on the ground, so this has definitely gone. We didn't realise it was disabled until I saw that lonely bit of string and Karen looked at the listing. Nemesis cache!

Appears to have been muggled. Found a bit of yarn tied around a branch close to the playground, but no cache was attached. Searched the ground for a while, but came to the conclusion that it had been probably crunched up by someone mowing the lawn.
I was in the area on Sunday and went to the GZ to attempt this cache however a 'pop-up' cafe had set up within metres so I abandoned the attempt although I did manage to locate the cache from the ground.
Today I was running errands in the area so I thought that I would have a go. There were a few muggles but they paid no attention to me. I quickly climbed up the tree (it seems higher when you are up there) and retrieved the log only to find the log full. I managed to find a small space to scrawl my tag. It was an uneventful climb down. A look around showed that no-one had even noticed me. TFTC.

After lots of time spent by eldest geokid on a super high muggle day, youngest geokid found it on the ground. We found some yarn in the car and tied it up in the tree, but no idea if it is anywhere near where it should be! Tftc
This is such a great park, and this was a fun cache to get to, I really enjoy these ones. Log was full and we didn't have a replacement, otherwise the cache is in good shape. TFTC
Mugglefest. Junior climbing nernie reports there is no log in the container so we were unable to sign. TFTC.

Suscoe was out and about in this area today.
It was a cool and overcast day with low cloud and the occasional drizzle patch here and there.
This was our 8th find of the day.
We came prepared with the tool bag for all occasions.
Spotted the cache, selected the correct tool and soon had the log in hand.
Thanks to Jacimarble for placing this cache.
Pretty quiet here today thank goodness.

A beautiful sunny afternoon for caching This one took a little while to spot! A challenging climb due to recent rain and not ideal footwear. A great hide!

Heading out for some night time caching this was first on our list. Finding this was a bit difficult with only flashlights, i was in the tree whilst megwilson was on the ground. megwilson made the find and i retrieved it. TFTC!
Nice elevation. Beautiful sunny day with lots of mugglea about. Good for cover as there was lots of people getting thei feet off the ground TFTC

88andy88 and I took my muggle son on a caching adventure this afternoon. Just as well, as there's no way I could've retrieved this on my own. Son loved the hunt. Lotsa fun. Great hide.

Up up and away with TAA, the friendly way was big in the 70's and we looked there to find this one tftc....
took us a while to find, was a hard one, partner in crime climbed for it I watched
The kids and I spent some time at the nearby playground and on the way back to the car I just had to have a quick look didn't I!? We walked around and around the tree and I was just about to pull the pin when I spotted it.
The kids were too young to send up so I did the work, impressing them as I got higher and higher. That won't last long knowing them. Soon I'll have them doing all the work.
You know what? Balancing up a tree teaches you respect (or lack of) for the last person who replaced the log. Trying to extract a semi jammed logbook up a tree with no tools isn't fun but the next finder will have a much easier job.
Cheers Jacimarble, thanks for the challenge.

Found with GadgetGirl2, who did a great climbing job. We were with a number of geokids, who were very excited to find the treasure! TFTC.
Took a while to spot it as it was very hard with muggles in the area. Well worth it in the end. Thanks
Send the cousins up to find this one! Big Thanks to the girls for that, great spot!!
It was a cool but pleasant evening, with muggles around. There was bootcamp on and someone cooking a bbq but no one was paying attention to us. Holdfast did the climbing while I kept looking from the ground. He ended up spotting it first and dropped it down for me to sign. I threw it back up and we were on our way. TFTC
Nice one! Kiddo was upset he was too little to go so high. Mum was the monkey today. Fun!
After learning about geo caching yesterday, introduced husband/dad to this world and found it all on our own. Although had to convenience dad that they weren't all this tricky to get, as he was reaching for it. Thanks. Great to have a find at a play ground we regularly visit.
Out caching with quiet1_au today. Q volunteered to do the climbing. I eventually spotted the cache from below, which then made for a quick retrieval. TFTC
I wasn't sure how I'd go with this one not being the most agile arboreally but you can only try. After a ground-based eyeball search with lochb revealed nothing I headed up the tree a bit hoping for a better view but still failed to spot it. Not getting a whole lot of confidence in my climbing by a certain onlooker (I did not entirely disagree with them!) I came back down. As we were about to depart though lochb spotted the cache and once my eyes were able to lock on to it too I decided it shouldn't be too difficult to get to and headed skyward once more. Wearing jeans made the climb a bit tricky but thankfully I soon reached the cache without incident and was glad this tree had good sturdy branches as balancing in the wind could have been unpleasant otherwise. Hoping not to drop the cache or logbook I gingerly reached up and had everything back in place and myself safely back on the ground again.
Came here and it was getting dark! We were about to give up and then persistence paid off and spotted it with a torch! Climbed a little further and retrieved the cache! TFTC SL found with Bolaris, KittyCatCoco and CKDP
The last cache of the day for me. I had been out with day1976 all day and was buggered.
Still had the energy to step up into this tree, just to show I could. Of course Day was already up the tree with the sneaky cache in hand. A good tree for beginners I would say, flexible beginners!

Couldn't spot it from the ground. So I climbed the tree. Some muggles came by wondering what we were doing. Explained the situation and they thought it sounded pretty cool (which it is). Finally we thought we had spotted it, but after climbing across to the object, we found it was made of cardboard. Not what we were looking for. I think it was the remnants of a kite that may have flown into the tree. Then after a bit more searching, I finally spied it. Signed the log and replaced, thanks Jacimarble!
Cache still present! From the ground anyway. I didn't climb the tree this time!
As we arrived and closed in on the location of GZ, our two monkeys Frog_lady and Jacko83 went to look for the elusive cache.. while Dbelco and I stayed on terra firma...... they were looking from the top, we were looking from the ground.... and ironically I spotted it from the ground and Im the only one wearing glasses in the group! lol.... awesome cache, well executed and we had a lot of fun doing this one tftc

Second find of the day while on a caching adventure with Roads75, dbelco & Jacko83 =]
Fun climb! Not too hard in the bargain. Great tree. Really nice and thick and stable.
You CAN actually see it from the ground, despite it only being a bison.
Time- 3.20pm.
Took & left nothing.
Safe travels and T.F.T.C.
Cheers & hoppy caching!
Will add a photo later.

0100 GAFF1 Wild and windy, and couldn't see the cache from the ground, but trusted the coordinates, and sure enough, found the cache pretty close to where I had been standing beneath. Well secured, log dry, intact o-ring. But obviously couldn't fit a CSM.

Don't think we could have done it without dad...lucky quick find before we have our eyes checked ..2 yearly by Dr Toe Knee Gibson...( Tony Gibson ) was so small ...
Second time to this one, found it on the first time, this time with the wife no such luck, spent ages and climbing, it didn't take this long for me alone last time,
We found this cache today at 1:40pm as #2 of 27 on our Tour de Pines Afternoon. Last time we were here just on a year ago, we spent about 45 minutes here but the cache turned out to be missing at that time. Today, spent a few minutes on one side with no luck before moving to the other side and spotted it immediately. Nice to turn a DNF into a F. Our 4th cache find in this park, the first one being in 2004. Thanks from D & H B-A.
Not too hard to find, but we did it on a very windy day. It's the getting down that's tricky.
This is the second attempt at this cache. Great location, school holidays so heaps of muggles, mini muggles and k9 muggles. Finally found it a bit higher than expected. Thanks. Great hide. The coco crew.
Not sure why a previous log complained this was too close to a playground and toilets. Yes it is near tge toilet block but not really close to a playground. Suspect they just don't like climbing trees! Anyhow I am scared of heights but needed a smiley. Early morning there are no muggles except the boot campers. Up I went and a good search and spied the cache. Great fun. Thanks!
Down from Brisbane with IolantheK for Christmas [^]
Thought we'd grab a cache after a failed attempt at a another cache on the other side of teh park.
Arrived at GZ and decided that with the D/T rating we were in for a long HARD look [B)]
After a lot of look under, over and through I finally spotted the little fellow

I'm down in Melbourne with T-Tech visiting relatives for Christmas, and while I'm here I want to grab as many caches as possible to fill in gaps on my Jasmer grid, as well as some of the more unusual icons. Today we returned to this park to have another go at the multi, but after another failure there we decided to give this one a go. As we arrived we figured we knew where to search, and T-Tech got to do the deed. He got up there pretty quick, but it took a bit of searching for him to make the find. I was very pleased to finally hear the words "ahh, there it is" He dropped down the log to me for signing, then there was a bit of silliness involved with getting it back up to him TFTC, Jacimarble.
Try for ages but didn't find it.
Can the owner please check to see if it's gone or not.
Can the owner please check to see if it's gone or not.
Attempted this one tonight with a ladder. I had previously seen where this one was but couldn't locate it again today (even with the ladder). I think I will be back during the day to check this one out.
Find #1134. Found @ 23:20.
I was after a cache for day 31 of the 31 days of caching souvenir grab and wanted to combine the find with a required D/T rating cache. I came here but was thwarted by some muggles parked close by and they were involved in questionable activities.
I had a quick look around, but they were putting me off my game.
I moved away from the area to collect a nearby multi, then returned. As I walked across the oval with my torch shining away, the vehicles (yes, there were 2) left. I wonder if it was a clandestine meeting to partake in a secret tryst?
Anyway, with the muggle infestation cleaned out, I was able to give it a proper go. I ascended, then thought better of it and retreated to give it a bit of a think before acting. I spotted a nice configuration of tree and made my way there. Once there I looked around and spotted the container within easy reach.
I made my mark just as another vehicle showed up. They parked as far from me as possible. I replaced the log and headed back to the car. And then some more cars arrived and parked equidistant from the currently occupied spots. I guess this is the place to be on a Saturday night.
Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables.
Thanks for the cache Jacimarble.

Mr fiddler went up the tree and fiddled around them came back down the tree empty handed.
Despite it being a windy day, with trees down all over the place, I decided to attempt this cache. I did a bit of a reccy from below, and when I found nothing I decided to start climbing. The park was pretty much deserted, so I don't think I raised any suspicion, despite doing something completely crazy in such weather!
I had a good look around from several branches up, but couldn't find anything. I'll come back another day with GeoTeens and recruit them to help me search. Thanks for an excuse to climb a tree, Jacimarble!

Our first 3.5 stars & well found by No. 1 son (AKA 'monkey'). Lots of fun & much thanks for this exciting & challenging cache.
Arriving at GZ and after reading the description and attributes we soon worked out what was involved. Finding the little sucker was going the be the hard part. First searching from above I decided to have a good look from below and spotted the tricky little hide.

How these caches get muggled compared to others I will never know, as this one took Whyt Knight (who was the one who spotted) and Nanton34 (this time the team monkey) a while to find. Perhaps easier to locate during the day. tftc
Arriving at this one it soon became apparent what was required, Whyt Knight ventured first and after no luck I decided to join him with eigthknox not far behind. After spending a considerable amount of time being monkeys. Whyt Knight Returned to ground to try his luck and spotted it. From there it was just a matter of getting to the right spot to retrieve it TFTC and a nice easy tree climb.
Checked again today. It is there. I have updated the cache listing to reflect the new nature of the cache container. And upped the rating by half a point to reflect the difficulty of dodging muggles, and trying to find a cache that goes missing on a semi regular basis!!
Hmm.. hard climbing in motorbike boots.! Got to about 4mtrs above ground which was enough on a slippery tree on a wet day. Couldn't find anything that resembled a cache or hide... tree looked like the likeable one for climbing and GPS said it was GZ. Tree was about 8 mtrs away from toilet block, close to path enroute to playground. Stumped.!!
Visited 3 times, even on the same day as it was confirmed to be replaced by the owner and still no luck!
Climbed as far up the tree as possible, even tried at night with a torch as suggested to reflect the cache.
Might head back once it has been found by someone else

Looked in the company of littlemerpip but failed to find either the cache or a likely hide. Don't know if it's here or not; good luck to future searchers and maybe the maintainer could confirm its presence? Good fun anyway. Now home out of the rain.
Didn't find this one. My search was not helped by the exercise-group that was not too far away - making it difficult to search/climb or look too hard without being too obvious - or the fact that it had just gotten dark when I was looking. I did climb and scramble a bit but the cache eluded me this time.
