Thanks for everyone finding this cache. But I can no longer maintain it. It is now being archived.
I had to come down to Figtree to the tower on O'Briens Road for a job today, and hoped it wouldn't take too long so I could do some caching afterwards before heading back to Sydney. As it turned out I ended up at Unanderra and not finishing until 5:35pm so no after work caching for me. Which makes me extra glad I made the stop to find this one on the way to the job as I had got down the coast about 20 minutes ahead of schedule.
Pulled up nearby and the general location was obvious, but it took a little longer to find than expected as I was looking for something else. But spotted soon enough and took it to a nearby low wall to sign. No lid on the container though, I could just poke the log out from one end with a convenient twig. But still it all seemed dry enough. So not a totally wasted day as far as caching was concerned, I don't mind the opportunity to find ones in new areas I don't normally get to if work takes me there. Thanks dcharman.

I agree with previous logs.
Not a very safe and legal location for s cache. Found it anyway and signed the log.
Thanks for the opportunity

I strongly suggest this cache be moved or archived, as it is illegal for pedestrians to use roundabouts as road islands. Which is exactly where the cache is. I walked the whole way around the roundabout hoping it was not there, but it was. There is no way to find this cache inconspicuously and the road seems quite busy all the time.
Thanks for the cache....
Thanks for the cache....
Found before ICC Christmas Event.
Quick find, no lid or bottom, just log inside container
thanks for this one

Upon reading about no log, I brought along my packet of spare nano log rolls, spotted the cache and inserted a new log to sign.
However the container is still open, and the log may get wet without CO intervention.
thanks for the cache.

Found it! Straight away, as soon as a got to the round about. Too easy, but it was difficult to get the cache out. I left a stick next to the cache to help you out.
TFTC!

3 cars stoped and asked what I was doing.
Had to make up a story.
Then I found the cache maybe this cache would be better to do at night

Another great find while touring around from cache to cache.

Smallest cache ever! Haha
Quick find though, think we looked in the right spot first.

Removed old wet log and left the part that was at least readable. Found cache easy enough but definitely needs a new lid
Cache needs a bit maintainence. Maybe replace the container. I knew where to look and found a little spider living in one. Tftc
Lid is missing log is soaked had so much trouble getting log out of cache. Used a piece of paper for our log, but was only a small piece and the log will need replacing along with a new lid.

I logged a needs maintenance, so this log is just one to say we found it. Good spot and geokids knew exactly where to look.
Thought we'd pick this one up on an afternoon bike ride. One of the hills near by certainly got the better of me this evening. Once there, it was rather quiet and a quick find. tftc
Still not sealed but not too wet. Is this corner ever quiet? Had to wait ages for opportunities to grab it and put it back. A bleak afternoon so wasps were inactive. TFTC.
Attempted at night as to not raise suspicion. Took a little searching but came up with the goods in the end ! TFTC
Easy find. Luckily there weren't too many people around. We took it back to the car to sign and then put it back where it belongs.
The log is getting full and is quite moist. One end is missing a lid so it's completely open.
It's hard not to look suspicious here but we did our best. Fortunately there were limited hiding spots so the cache was soon in hand, log signed and returned. Watch out for the wasps that have made a home nearby. TFTC.
This was paulymans and my second (or possibly third?) attempt at this one. I felt so conspicious trying for this one but decided to just grab it today. Watch out for all the wasps! TFTC.
Snorris went to make the find while I played decoy pretending to search for something I'd lost. Back to the car to sign the log then a quick run back to GZ to return the cache. Thanks.
Keeping with my caching day streak I took mini-rat with me as we headed out here for a late afternoon find.
Arriving at GZ we dodged the traffic to easily find this one.
Thanks

One of the most exposed caches I have ever found, can't say that I liked the exposure.
Found it
I was with Auzzie Dad 1125
and my sister, it needs a new log book cause this one is currently almost full

Grabbed quickly and was on ny way, the cache guardians have now built 4 nests in the vicinity.
Quick find on a rainy Saturday, with no cars and pedestrians around to disturb the search. TFTC!!
Quick find near the wasps. Container is missing the lid, I was also unable to extract the log. Bring tweezers! I have a photograph of the container should anyone challenge the find. Thanks for the oddly placed cache.
Tftc we had to run pretty fast so no muggle would see us get it also found with mike250
Sorry late logging this. Came at night to avoid the guardians day time activity. Thanks
Quick find, but way too much traffic, even on a Saturday afternoon. Black Bunny looked rather conspicuous in the middle of a roundabout, especially as he was doing a little dance. He SAID he was dodging wasps....
Thanks, dcharman!
Thanks, dcharman!
After dodging the wasps (they do not like me), it was a quick find between passing muggles.
thanks for the cache.,
thanks for the cache.,
I went past here on Saturday morning on my way to the ICC event but the area was far too busy. I returned today for a quick grab. WARNING - there is a huge active wasp nest near the cache. We moved the cache a little further away. There is no end on the cache. SL TFTC
Reperio at 1100.
As soon as I drove past this one to find a park I groaned. Not only is there no way of being stealthy to retrieve this one, but it 's illegal to be standing on a roundabout any longer than is needed to cross the road. Didn't bother about looking around to see who was around...walked straight up to GZ...grabbed the cache...signed it...replaced it...got out of there.
Gratias dcharman.

Hmm 5:00pm on a Saturday is not the best time to do this one - although the local businesses are closed!
Was able to get the log out to sign without waking the guardians. Lid seems to be missing off the cache container. Tftc!
It really depends on the time of day and I was lucky that work inb progress took a bit of the view as wel.
Also knew were to look before walking towards GZ makes it a bit easier.

Found this one fairly quickly, and was able to have cache in hand thanks to the cache extractor tool (stick) someone kindly left at the scene. Couldn't get the log out, so will return soon to sign. TFTC.
Great little find on the dark. Had to pop back home to Greg the tweezers! The guardians were fast asleep.
TFTC Yep out in full view and really awkward to retrieve, but finally cache in hand.
Found this one pretty quickly the other day but couldn't retrieve it so back today with some tools to have another go. Got the log out fairly easily but wasn't as successful putting it back. Got it half way in but the rest wouldn't budge. Will try to get back there later tonight to fix it up....sorry!
Early morning adventure with a reflective vest on and no one was bothered. There is no lid on the container this morning and a bit dark to go searching. Sorry about that. At least there is a pile of new building material on site at the shop. TFTC
After reading the previous logs we had cautiously prepared a story, just in case we to were questioned by some of the interested onlookers in the area.
Much to our disappointment though our tale was to be left untold as nobody seemed to care about the very suspicious people walking around in the middle of nowhere yielding electronic gadgetry. Or did they?
Many thanks dcharman for the adventure you created.

Man are you exposed out there. The service staion attendant was in the door watching as we headed for GZ. Thanks to the cars who pulled up for fuel as they took his attention long enough for us to sign the log.
To keep up the great race story we spoke of camera angles as we left.
The cache seems to have lost it's lid.
Great little challange. TFTC

Having read all the logs I thought a very early morning attempt would be the solution to the Petrol Station attendant and the Wasps. Perfect. At 4:30am, The Wasps were all sleeping soundly on their nest, and I suspect that the Petrol station attendant was doing the same. Usinga locally found retrieval tool I removed the cache, and took it to my car to remove the log and sogn. I then waited for a couple of cars which proceeded to do 2 figure 8 laps of both roundabouts before driving off, before i returned the cache safely to its hide. Thanks dcarman for your cache.
Was good doing this cache, so many cars around, even at 11pm at night. RedPanda_au, StumbleTrip and mizmaz looking on, Ozvixen and I attempted the retrieval. With some tool assistance and nearly loosing a pen we had it in hand. Don't think some of the native wildlife liked us being there though..
Quick find but confronted by the service station owner across the road wanting to know what the hell all the people are suddenly doing at GZ.
This is a very exposed position and impossible to do without being spotted night or day.
I told him it was a prelude to the next Amazing Race Australia and the producers were just checking to see if it was an acceptable place for a pit stop. You will see more people and if there were not too many sticky beaks it may be included. Just keep quiet and too yourself and wait for the cameras if it is accepted.
He was cool with that and walked off with a swagger in the knowledge that he was privy to info others weren't.
I hate doing that.
Love the cache guardians, who will be stung first?
TFTC

Found on the way to getting dropped at the airport by Hoojar and Dingo. Started off some coins here that I plan to leave in India!!
Found on the way to dropping Chip at the airport for her big adventure in India. A fitting cache nice and close to home (<900m) to start the travels of same coins that Chip is going to leave over there.
We were quite cautious of the wasps, not wanting to get stung. Retrieving the cache proved difficult, until we went and got a stick, this made things easier. Ding had to be kept on a tight leash in this spot. Thankfully no one stopped to ask what we were doing. Mind you, I always use the truthful option and wouldn't personally have spun the story about The Amazing Race. To each their own!
Cheers!

FTF, my very first. The coords update came in very handy and could zoom straight in on the cache. Awesome idea, and beats the originals coords where I was playing hide and seek with four(!!) different spiders. TFTC!
Quite a busy place, be mindful of the nearby wasps, now back to work. TFTC

Debating a sleep-in when I got an sms from a gloating first time FTFinder (after I rubbed in my first FTF last week). Ok, so being tipped off there was another new cache just up the road for me to get, headed straight out to at least log it too before my other caching buddies. Sneaky little bugger and almost lost my pen in the process!
Bit more success tonight with the updated co-ords!
Took a little retrieving though and getting that log back in. Certainly do need to watch for those wasps nearby or I suspect some cacher is going to be very sore [B)]. TFTC!

New coordinates worked a treat and found it straight away. Retrieving it was another matter. I was even skilled enough to remove the lid without actually getting the cache and thought I had pushed it to a place where no one could get it... but then a bobby pin solved all the problems TFTC
Well, probably another rush of blood to the head in order to get a FTF but I make the dubious honour of FTDNF!
I spotted this one on the bus on my way home so jumped in the car when I got home. This is quite a busy place at 6pm...no luck for me either but must have been steeba that was arriving as I gave up realising I was running late to pick up a friend so no FTF today

I went back tonight to check the cache, and it's still there. I initially recorded the position with my old GPS60, however I went back tonight with my new GPSMAP 62s and it has given me what appears to be a more precise location. See the updated coords.
