Had a reasonably early night on New Year's Eve so felt energetic enough to hit some northern GC caches. Glad it was a quiet Public holiday as road still very busy. TFTC The X-Trailers

Selva Girls and I were caching in the area again this weekend, claiming a few more smilies. We pulled up near gz and made a quick find, adding our names to the log. Tftc The X-Trailers 
Out for a day of caching with stortigirls. Next, we came to this cache. After finding a safe place to park the geomobile, we made our way to GZ. There, stortigirls quickly located the cache and added our names to the log. TFTC
Found it it took a little bit but very fun to find. Very good hiding spot. Helensvale Rovers best team.
Used to drive past this place daily, and I only found out today from the girlfriend that you used to be able to actually have coffee here. What an opportunity wasted!
Anyways, the likely GZ was quickly spotted, and ignoring the mega weird bugs that were protecting it, the cache was quickly in hand, with the log signed and replaced whilst she watched on guard for any muggles.

TFTC. Unfortunately there is a deceased magpie at the location when I was there.
Nearly missed this one as eyes weren't working properly at first, signed log and had to find the lid that Muggle son had dropped before we could return cache to hide. TFTC

**Some caching time today before heading down to the Gold Coast for a special dinner,and we continued caching after. 
No body around tonight so a good park and grab.

Found this clever little cache on the ground. Replaced it where it should have been. Could use a new log. Tftc
I just HAD to get a cache on the last day of 2016. I had seen this one on the GPSr a couple of times as I drove passed so today it was a nice target while en route to heading off on the boat.
This is find number 1900 for 2016 which I think is a pretty good caching number for the year
also manged 26 FTF's this year which isnt too bad either.
No issues with the find, signed and replaced.

[^]We had a one day break from our holidays at the Gold Coast Holiday Park. Washing was overdue and we also needed the time to do some planning for the days to come. As we did not want to hang around at the camp ground the entire day, and as we also wanted to connect to some reliable and fast wifi, we went to Zarraffa's for a coffee. On our way there, I realized that we would have the opportunity to grab a little cache. It was a well hidden, but nonetheless a quick and easy grab, thank you very much.

Our last cache in the area before we have to pack up and go home. We'll miss the weather, but after doing so many theme parks we're kinda looking forward to sitting down for a little while.

First find with my new iPhone SE. Don't like the app at all. Much prefer cgeo app on my old android.
Had no pen so couldn't sign. Screw top has lost lots of pain and the cache stands out from metres out.
All the comments made it sound so easy, but it took me a good 10 min. Good one. Well camoflaged.
Well hidden,fun find,New at this so feeling like cars going past looking at me strangely.haha.that's finds in 3 states and one territory as we travel.loving it
Being a Public Holiday Monday, decided to tackle some caches down around the Pacific Pines area. This was the last cache today - location wise - thank gawd it was a public holiday, less traffic and muggles. It as soon found and is well placed. TFTC The X Trailers
Quickly found, all closed up today, no need to go inside premises at all, cannot see why you would? Handy find just close to where we are staying TFTC

I don't know if we were searching in the right place but the hint said it was 'hanging'. We soon discovered there was something tied to a pole but looked like something had been ripped from it so it was just a piece of plastic. Don't know if that was it or not but we will return. (If someone could tell us if that was the spot that would be good! Ty )
Took a while and we were harassed by coffee roasting staff. Probs best on quite weekend and NOT 5 pm peak hour! Nice little hide!
