Muggled, not sure if i will keep this cache going as proving to be rather expensive!!!!
Visited the Arid Gardens this morning, planning on four of the hides therein. What a beautiful place. Did the Green walk, through the various regions, up pas the sand dunes, before heading back for coffee.
After our coffee, we heading out to the cliffs for the view. Then home to Stirling North via the race track. Stopped off for Puzzled, and rather puzzled to not find what we were looking for, rather, as cammod vitamin bottle. Signed and returned. Bit disappointed, was looking forward to the puzzle.
Thanks for the effort Dinko1974

Stopped on our way north, but with limited time, we had to abort the search, so as to keep moving...
On our way home, we stopped again and found it in the daylight this time. Having seen these before we didn't take too long to sign our names.
Thanks we always enjoy these style puzzles.
And sorry for the extremely late log, it was last one we stopped at and didn't get transcribed to our running sheet and hence not logged! (Long day)

Hi there Dinko1974.
We found your cache **"Puzzled"** at 11:12:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 13938.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip around the local area today. We usually start the day off by nominating a cache some distance away from our camp site and then take a route mainly determined by the next closest cache according to our GPS. Today's plan was to dash into Port Augusta to test drive a vehicle, and then log a few caches before heading back to camp.
Nice Japanese carpentry.
We ended up finding 10 & DNFing 2 caches today.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found your cache around two metres from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape but the camo is a little tired.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

This is my first ever Mystery cache puzzle. As mentioned in the description, finding it wasn't a problem. I love the way-cool little wooden puzzle box and the artwork on it, fantastic. I found the first move simple but it was that 2nd one that had me thinking, i was turning and feeling like mad then Click, Slide.... hey presto in under 10 minutes, it was 'solved'. For me, that's damn good as I'm not really a puzzle-solving person. The Cache was found at 16:30 and log signing complete at 16:42 on Sat 16 April 2016, then 2 minutes later a freight train (6MP1) went past and into Port Augusta. TNLN, TFTC Dinko1974
I stopped the geomobile in a very puzzling place
A short cut to Stirling North in one direction, a road to the waste recycling facility (tip to the rest of us) to the south, a road to a likely fishing spot to the west, and a mystery road to the north
While I poked the rubbish lying in the bushes at GZ for signs of cache life, a 4WD with a trailer full of old posts sped past ... heading from the direction of the tip, and along the mystery road northbound straight through the mudbath without slowing.
The cache was found and the prize found
Or was it ??
Er !! How do I open this thing ??
A bit of massaging revealed the start of the process.
More massaging found a few more steps until the log book fell out into me paws
'Bout then the lady in the 4WD reappeared with an empty trailer.
I gave her the "I know what you've been doing frown"
And she almost caused a nasty accident at the cross roads as she forgot there was a give way sign while yelling abuse at me !!
I'm puzzled !!
But not about the cache anymore [^]

Found during a visit to Port Augusta for the weekend. Solved the finely crafted puzzle after some careful manipulation and a great deal of patience. Thanks for the puzzle and cache Dinko1974!
On the way to Whyalla for a social event so I broke the trip again here.
I love these puzzles and have seen a few before but not this one.
Very well made.
Fortunately I knew that being systematic and patient would bring a reward.
and it did.

We found this cache on our Northern road trip, which was to celebrate my significant birthday. We saw some great places, met some wonderful people and slept through some 3 dog nights. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and finding caches made the trip more memorable – Thank you and ……Joy to the World!!

Malco! is the undisputed champion of Japanese puzzle box opening. Four cachers took a stupid amount of time to locate the cache only to find a little wooden box. This little wooden box proved to be a stumbling block for all but the nimble fingers of Malco! One move.....one move...one move.....give to Malco!......done. TFTC Dinko1974.

It took us an embarrassingly long time to find the cache container.
We weren’t helped by the fact Freddo still had old coordinates in his GPS.
Also there may have been some cache creep as our GPS showed 11m.
That embarrassment we felt was nothing compared to the shame of not being able to open the cache. Step 1 was easy, but step 2 eluded us for at least 5 minutes.
Finally our master Japanese puzzle solver Malco! Found the right move and from there it was smooth sailing (especially if you are just watching).
We returned the cache to a similar location, but a little closer to our GZ so future finders may get to it a bit quicker.

On a road trip with the other guys who logged today.
Scoured around the area, find many things including car parts and tyres. Stopped looking after I found the box thorn bush - ouch!
A cry of "found it" rang out and we had the puzzle. *CoC* had a go, then Freddo (again) had a go and then TM tried. Brute force was contemplated. On-line instructions were sought, but that proved useless. Finally, in my nimble fingers, a panel went click - and the rest rapidly followed. Beautifully crafted device.
Thanks for the fun, Dinko1974

Fantastic cache! We've seen a much simpler puzzle box in Adelaide, but this was something else! A definite favourite!

A very worthy favourite point. I have only seen one of these until today and it was a much simpler design. TFTC
looked for this one before but didn't find it but we were in luck today. We heard something in the bushes so was a bit wary of snakes. Lots of rubbish around the area. Nice puzzle box and easy to open. TFTC
found with help of partner. I like these type of puzzle boxes. They get easier the more you do. TFTC
No problem for me today, ducked around the back and almost stepped on it out in the open,
opened the container, solved the puzzle, signed the log, replaced all back into container and placed back near GZ cords.
Visited with Claudia's keyring TB while up this way.
Thanks Dinko, sorry I missed you this visit.
Cheers and Happy Hunting

This one took about half an hour to find and about 2 mins to open. Our GPS locked us in to the same spot several times but nothing was to be found there. Once we realised the overhead power lines [which were buzzing well] might be interfering with it we radiated our search and just when we were about to give up came up with the goods. Took the puzzle back to the van and had it open quickly. What a cleverly made thing it was. Thanks.
Camping at Spear Creek and needed a puzzle cache for our August souvenir and having done a Japanese puzzle box before thought this would be a good bet. Unfortunately this was a different type and took a while to figure out. After we closed it up again we discovered we had left out the 'silicon' bag so we had to go through the whole lot again. TFTC DINKO1974
Mrs TiedyeSmileys loves these so was keen to have a go on this one as we passed through town. Didn't take too long until she soon had it open. She had actually seen this same model on the internet and had been considering get one herself. She found it interesting that in real life it was much smaller than she thought it was going to be.

After completing our 2nd trip around Australia, we are now heading towards Alice Springs.
Grabbed 3 close by caches, before leaving Port Augusta.
A quick find, and an easy puzzle. Cache was in good condition and dry.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Dinko1974.

I made the cache hide find on this one, no patience for it though, brisal5 couldn't solve it and then mogni managed it quickly. We spent much longer closing it properly. Important to get it perfect. Thanks Dinko1974.
Day 2 of Flinder's Ranges visit with mogni and Aussie M&M.
Detoured into Port Augusta for a tripod for Mr. M and some more rechargeable batteries. Took the opportunity to grab a few caches.
As we all searched for a way in Mrs. M found it and then emerged with the cache. Now to get the log.
Mr M had solved Puzzled 2 - so time for another. Mrs M had a go but soon gave up. My turn. It seemed like nanoseconds but was in fact probably a bit longer later mogni's frustration possessed her and she took it and it open seconds later. Boy looks take longer. My boy looks even longer. Thanks Dinko1974.

search for ages - couldn't see the cache at all so DNF for me but will return back one day. Thanks.
After completing our trek along the Googs Track and back through the Gawler Ranges, it was time to rack up some numbers in the Whyalla area - gee there are a lot of caches around here.
Spent the morning around Whyalla before heading north to Port Augusta and home. TFTC.
Thanks to the local Iron Triangle cachers for the hides. I still have more to find but may need another couple of days
Another great puzzle and even had a steam train go by

Taking it off line until maintenence is completed. It seems condensation is the achillies heel of all caches.
Had an interesting time trying to open the cache but after borrowing it for a bit we finally got some help and got it open, very smart cache

28th find of day on a caching run to Whyalla for a couple of events with TheKellyGang & Laighside Legends
This cache caused many headaches today. When we arrived we found it fairly quickly but the cache was full of water and as a result the puzzle was wet as well. So tried opening it and resulted in one of the panels falling off I think due to the water softening the glue. so we decided to take it with us for a drive to Whyalla and do some repairs on it while driving after a quick trip to Coles for some super glue. Got the first piece re stuck only to have a second panel fall off good thing we had that glue in the car fixed that one as well. At the Event in Whyalla we were shown how to open it but not before another piece fell off so was back to the glue and stuck it together for a 3rd time. I tested it out and seemed to still work after all the gluing but may want to check on it to verify it all works. We placed it in a plastic bag to try and stop the moisture from getting into the wood and causing similar trouble again. A Very Puzzling cache for sure and an adventure in opening it. I hope we didn't inconvenience anyone by taking it for the day.

Fun puzzle, sat back in the car and played with the box until one bit moved and then the rest was elementary, a favourite point from us TFTC
We've had some experience with this type of puzzle before, which greatly helped this time around. Nice work. Favourite point from us, TFTC.
Back in Port Augusta for Christmas again this year and time to clean up the caches in the area.......again.
A very successful day out with the Old Frankos having only 2 DNF's and 15 finds before midday.
Towards the end the North wind was blowing and we could definitely feel all of the 44 degrees when we got out of the car.
What a top cache.
It took us a while to firstly find the container then another few minutes to get the bugger open.
When we eventually did it was a breeze.
A great new type of cache that is always a pleasure to see.
Cheers and happy caching.

Well that was something different. Enjoyed working this one out with EsromL today while in Port Augusta. Good puzzle - got through the first few steps OK, but took us a bit of work to finally open it - a favourite point from me. Thanks Dinko1974 for the challenge.
Found with e.gregory1 while passing through Port Augusta. We enjoyed the challenge of opening the box inside. TFTC
Bowz2 and Mags2 decided this should be the cache to do for International Geocaching Day even if we didn’t attempt any others on the day!
On our First attempt we found the “container” ok but the puzzle had been Frogged only a short while before our arrival...
Evidence of Freddo was noted...
So we went off and did a few other caches around town that we hadn’t found yet then decided to have a coffee and a cake (Cake That BOWZ2 DIDNT need ) and returned later in the day to try to solve the problem.
The “Himitsu-Bako” was studied and passed between us several times until finally solved for a "Bronze find"
Nice one! This gets a favourite point from the normally stingy with favourites points Bowz2

Very clever cache, examined the puzzle carefully , certainly got us puzzled at the start, [?] until one piece moved, and twelve steps latter we got the Silver Award, Also like the cache, great camo, and room for TB's, away from muggles, [^]. A favourite from us. TFTH Dinko1974 SL.
Quick find by geoMum, geoson and geograndson. Geomum applied her thinking cap and the spoils was ours within a couple of minutes. A great little cache. Left a hot wheels car to further its venture. TFTC.
Mags2 and Bowz2 looking for a few International Geocaching Day finds. Fantastic puzzle box, kept us working for a little while.

It's true. I did borrow the cache. From the note I left in the cache only Bowz2 was inconvenience. Mwhahaha. At it is not very far from his work. The puzzle did not fall out straight away and it took a few tries to get to the treasure. Thanks for the fun.
Found it after my second quick search. Great hiding spot and fantastic puzzle. Definitely gets a favorite from me. Put it back just how I found it. TFTC!
