Today I was in the area seeking a cache with very specific attributes for a challenge that I am working on. It wasn't much further up the road to this cache so I decided to have a look for it. At first I tried to walk along the track from Glen Ross Road but although it is signed as a track it is very overgrown and not really a track at all anymore. I decided it was too far to bush bash so I drove back around to Kirkston Place and found a lovely little park and playground there which wasn't even marked on my map. From here it was easy to follow the trail to just near the cache and the cache itself was very easy to find. Thanks for the cache Irony9 and for showing me this lovely area that I haven't seen before!
Congratulations on hiding a cache which has lasted more than 10 years in the wild! I finally got around to making a visit today. Better late than never.I went to the notice board but then followed the bush trail sign near the fence. The trail suddenly became very rocky and I found it hard to believe it was for real, especially when it seemed I was actually following a creek bed?! Weird. It seems I should have looked to my right at the noticeboard, and I wouldve then followed the boardwalk towards GZ.At GZ, I struggled for a minute but suddenly noticed the cache on the ground, well covered by natural growth. I then realised I was the first finder in nearly 12 months. I guess a downpour washed the cache out of its obvious home.Inside everything was perfect. Thank goodness the last finder closed it properly. After signing up, I replaced the cache more securely.TFTC and an interesting experience out here.
Another good find today.
The sun was low as I walked the last bit to this geocache
Thank you for this one

Great spot, thought we were in the wrong spot until geo-son turned around and spotted it
It was a late start today, but I ultimately decided that this rare day of sunshine was to good to pass up… So heading west I did a loop that included Laidley, Atkinson Dam, Esk, Fernvale and finally Blacksoil…
Everytime I’ve been heading south on the Brisbane Valley Highway it’s been after a big day and this cache has always been in the “another day” pile… today is “another day”…
Pulling up at GZ I tried to make sense of the Waypoints, which while helpful to get me to the park, then seemed to be a little out…
I spotted some poorly maintained infrastructure on my way to GZ and wondered if my choice of entry point was the best, although shortest, option…
I am definitely no longer a kid, but I took advantage of the balance beam for the final 10m…
Your Pixie Hollow was today quite wet to get to, but the cache was in good condition… Tftc… left Simrebel’s Geocoin 20th Anniversary to continue on…

While waiting for my car to be serviced I decided to find this cache. Nice walk in lovely bush land. TFTC!
Out for a ride on the BVRT with Bushed 2, took the walk in from the trail and made a fairly quick find following a bit of gps swing. TFTC
Spending a family day cycling with ChocoholicTrekkers on the rail trail . Had ridden past before but today spent the time to find the cache, signed as b2. Thanks Irony9.
Mrs VC was keen for a drive & to grab a few more smilies and who am I to argue?
I had left Mrs VC & Winter the Geo-Cat in the park while I headed off to find the final for 'Kiss kiss! Bang bang!'
As I was checking c:geo I realised this cache was only about 100 metres from where I was so plans were modified & I headed here first.
A nice quick find where all is good with the cache.
I waited a few minutes, in absolute silence, but no pixies appeared.
Made our mark & replaced as found.

A quick find, though went the long way around. Made a swap as there were some additions to the cache and took TB. TFTC
Nice little walk over the trolls bridges & found it no worries. Some lovely little gifts inside but TNLN.TFTC
Good walk to this one today. Geogirls had fun. Decided to carry geobaby. Next time I will put him in the carrier haha. All is good with cache. Left some fairy dust and 2 tbs. thank you CO for placing
Found this one the other day
Saved a draft, it's gone away!
Your spit in the bush I found
After a little look around

**# 17099** Found on the Qld leg of our 2017 winter escape trip.
Another perfect warm Winter day for a drive around while staying in Ipswich.
Hardly any muggles around and mostly not too difficult hides.
I found it 10m from my GZ but in an obvious place.
Thanks for the cache Irony9,

TFTC... 15/5/17. Tough Mothers, bennyboppers, misssusan79, Lisylou and me wearing purple for our good friend mnance101 and family. Travelled a round about way to get it.
Been wanting to log this one for sometime and as we are in the area with tough mother's today it was time tftc
Was in this area a few weeks ago for a multi but did not have this done on my list then. Went to Toowoomba for a cache whilst spending a few days for Christmas with family in Brisbane. Arrived in the car park area and after a very short walk was approaching GZ as indicated by my GPSr and I could see the container from about 5 meters away. Appended my name to the log and retrieved the traveller and replaced a little better. TFTC Irony9
Nice quick find here. Didn't bother with TB so here for the next visitor. Tftc
In here looking at locations and rail trail access so just had to do the cache as well.
Popped a TB dedicated to a cute cat in this cache today Happy travels!
I retrieved this trackable from a cache it was not logged into at Springbook N.P. Last seen in a cache a few months prior in Lismore NSW. Plz do the owner a favour and keep it moving

What a lovely place & lovely cache. Visited on our way home from a nice day at Wivenhoe dam caching. Thank you for bringing us here.
After failing to find our first cache for 2016 with Breejakekate we moved onto this one with a far better result. Thanks for bringing us to this great piece of bushland with lovely walking tracks. We actually approached this one from the wrong side & walked the balance beam out inside of in after geoson had found the cache. Took the TB, will move him onto another cache soon. TFTC Irony9
Just Bree today - After searching at lovers lane with no luck, I came here with KerriMG and family determined to find a cache on the first day of 2016! What a beautiful grassy Pixie play ground this was! From the fork in the path we went the work way but we tred through off the track for a few meters and it wasn't long until 8yo Geo Cousin had the cache in hand! It is a great balancing log! Thanks for the cache! B
Out for an afternoon of caching in the area to drop off a few TBs. After failing to find a nearby TB Hotel, I headed to this cache. I parked nearby and wandered along the pretty trails. At GZ, the cache was quickly located and the log signed. I left one of the TBs in this cache. TFTC
Lovely little park - great walking track. Easy find as per the instructions! TFTC
Lovely little park, and what a great walking track - who would've guessed this was here. Easy find - directions took me straight to GZ!
Lovely cache ecspecially the great stuff for the kiddies to play with , great idea, we added a few small boys toys to your collection aswell and to protect the pixies , absoulutley fantastic idea and a wonderful spot too. Tftc
Found made it all the way along the balance beam to the catche, nice cenic location.
On our way to Bris for Fathers Day celebrations! We made a quick stop over here to stretch our legs. Found the cache quickly. Great park. TFTC and bring us here Irony9
what a gorgeous park, would have loved to continue along the track but our day of caching beckoned. TFTC
Nice bush walk. Team bad and I didn't get into the theme but I think Flora may have had a sneaky play. TFTC
This one has been on our list for sometime. So keeping in mind the theme with Geo-daughter and geo-cuz we set off or a find (and play). Nice park and trail. Thanks for bringing us here - and for the cache
We have based ourselves at the Kalbar showgrounds for the long weekend and headed out today for a bit of caching. We enjoyed looking around the area and finding the cache. Thanks to Irony9.
A lovely bush reserve and a pleasant stroll for me and the geokids. A very cute idea. The girls enjoyed their morning tea. Tftc
Last find for the day & after walking around in circles for a bit, S seemed to be the right height as she spotted it as she walked towards it as daylight was fading we didn't get to play but will return tomorrow to do so
TFTC if it was not for this cache we'd have never discovered such a cute little area, would love to see council get in & regenerate the area, as it appears it was once an absolutely magical place.

Now this is a nice little piece of bushland. Will have to bring Mrs Lat&Long here for a visit. I found the cache but sadly had no little ones with me to enjoy the intended activity. In these days of fast finds and just signing the log before running off, it's so nice to find a cache that encourages you to experience more. Good job "Irony9" [^].
Another great bush reserve I never knew existed. Located GZ but didn't use the tea set as I had brought my own, but thanks for the offer. TFTC Irony9
I had targeted this area to get my find for the 31 days of August challenge and this was the first on the list.
I was still struggling after the 7 hour hike which I did last weekend and any climbing of steps was an effort.
I arrived at the search area and it didn't take long to locate the cache. Extracting it took a bit of juggling but I got it out in the end.
TFTC.

over this way today so we took the opportunity to put a smiley face on this one TFTC
Have to borrow the occupants of this cache for a few days for maintenance but will return them shortly - will leave a pathtag as compensation!
Wow! So amazingly beautiful! Miss 4 wanted to stay forever but it was getting dark and the GPS was nearly out of battery.
Thank you so much for bringing us here. This is what I love most about geocaching. I would never have even known this place was here otherwise. I envy those who live behind such a paradise.

A lovely place to go for a stroll, please be aware of the wriggly sticks (snakes). Took a little to extract the cache but with the right tool all was good. SL TFTC
We located GZ quickly. Lovely spot to wander though!
I found the cache but was at a loss as to how to retrieve it. Nurseyjulie poked at it with a stick and I pushed one in from above to stop the container slipping further into the hidey hole. It was about one and a half metres deep. An unexpected challenge... Wondering why someone pushed it in so far?
Put one of my custom stickers in the log and on we rolled
TFTC Irony9! All good here!
Took the simile of a geo coin

The cache was pushed right into its hole and it was a little difficult to retrieve. Had to use a stick to pull it back. Now is in a more manageable position to retrieve whilst not revealing its there. TFTC
We had a lovely picnic in the bush with hn rooster and our daughters. Thankyou for a wonderful girly cache.
Left geopartner in the car as I tackled this one.
It is very humid and the temperature is 37 degrees in this neck of the woods.
I followed the paths until I got to GZ area.
The cache was soon found and added my name to the list.
TNLNSL TFTC Thanks Irony9 All good with this cache.

TFTC loved this. We brought a picnic blanket and had tea with the little ladies in the fairy playground. I think this was wonderfully executed, from the placement, addition of waypoints and the accessories. I would give you two favourite points if I could
I have replaced the missing pieces to this one now and done a general tidy up - i have taken the TBs to move on. Cheers.
Relogging this under individual account, previously a member of Gaz'n'Kab account.
Our little family has had this on eon our radars for a while now. With cancelled lunch plans today the day opened up for an adventure . Miss 4 is a massive Tinkerbell fan, so we knew she would enjoy it. As luck would have it, she spotted the container first as well. She was very excited to pull the team out & we set them up on the log. Hopefully you find the missing pieces . I popped a ninja in to keep the remainder safe . Thanks for putting these here... now you've given me some ideas..... TFTC Irony9
Gaz'n'Kab and I decided about lunchtime on a caching trip out this way and this was to be our first port of call. The road in seemed familiar and it took some remembering why, but a few different streets later, we arrived at the parking co-ords. The track was brilliant, plenty of time and effort has been spent making this area very nice indeed. At one point we had a fail at choosing correctly at a Y junction, but we were soon sorted out.
A bit further along the footpad and we had to go bush a little however we must have taken a slightly different route for no logs presented themselves to be balanced on. Gaz spotted the hide and it was me that was sent forth to retrieve. As much as I know Gaz would have loved to, I made him just sign the logbook and forego the tea party. We rehid as found, now with a few TBs and headed off to check out the playground.. but we only found a creek and not much else, perhaps we're a little too grown up inside to have seen it
TFTC Irony9, a great place to visit and a cache that many seem to enjoy, myself included

Out today with Captain Terror, and this one was first up on the list We headed in after a navigational fail, and soon arrived at GZ A quick search soon revealed the cache, and off we went to check out the other waypoint. A nice patch of bush through here, and it is great to see council spending some money and effort on the area

Some say George Montague spends most of his time away with the fairies, but today he spent it away with the pixies. A lovely little park, and a great amble through the bush. Much appreciated this little diversion in the day's activities. No swaps, but left a UK Geocoin. TFTC.
