Had to have a look for this while I was here doing the touristy things..
But after various extensive efforts from the team, we had to resign ourselves to a DNF.
All the same, this is an amazing place to visit!!

Adding to the list of DNF’s, 4 sets of eyes spent a fair bit of time here, oh well, there are worse places to spend time!
Not a hope in hell we were going to find this one. Our GPS was going haywire and so many muggles.
Unfortunately like the previous cachers no luck today. Anano is too small fr the area methinks. Tftc anyway. Great spot
With so many DNFs, we walked to the bottom of the sinkhole but didn't bother to look for the cache. Maybe on a future trip?
Looked high and low with no success, rang the previous finder and they pointed to the correct spot. Unfortunately no cache is to be found there.

Day 419 ( Wednesday 21th ) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Mt Gambier today. A total of 5 for the day and 7397 the trip. A grand total of 17,365 caches. TFTC
Third trip here to look for this one, spent about 1/2 hour searching. Then got talking to a muggle ( Trevor) about geocaching, which he knew a little about.
To our embarrassment he said, how about here and came up with the cache. Clever Trevor.

I came back here today to avenge my 2 previous DNF's, the first one in 2014 when I was new and didn't really know what I was looking for and again in 2018 when I knew what I was looking for but it was missing.
I met azzo7777 and his dad in the carpark so we walked down together. I was talking to azzo about this cache as we got near GZ and before I knew it he had the cache and was walking back towards me. We quickly stamped the log and replaced it before any muggles could spot what we were doing. Lucky it was a wet day and there weren't as many visitors as there might have been on a nicer day.
Now I am happy to have the smilie at last. Thanks for the cache bucketeer a favourite for me.

I am spending the long weekend down on the limestone coast ahead of the Millicent Celebration event.
I left Millicent early in the morning and headed to Mount Gambier before heading down to Port MacDonnell. I was targeting Earthcaches, solved mysteries, high terrain, high difficulty and a couple of old caches.
I often don’t have much luck with nanos, and I thought this would be no exception.
Once I arrived at GZ, I was that blown away by the beauty of this place that I almost forgot I was here to find a cache.
After taking lots of photos, the search was on. I put my hands in lots of wrong places when I spied a little something that to my amazement, turned out to be the cache.
A very inventive hide in a place of extreme beauty - a definite fav point for me.
Thanks for the cache That @$%^ bucketeer.

Off on a slow tour from Adelaide through the Limestone Coast and inland areas to visit new places collecting little Yellow Faces.
Our travel companions are several Travel Bugs.
Team Honda thank the CO's for placing the caches to make our trip very enjoyable.
Came here with the mindset not to find it, but other half of team found it while I was taking a tour in the wrong direction.

As a Victorian resident I'm not allowed anywhere near GZ, so cache checked and replaced by some friendly locals, all good to go again.
I want to check on this o ensure it's there before I re-enable but am unable to do this until the Victorian border reopens
We stuck around as long as we could trying to find it but we gave in, no luck for us today
Enjoying this unique location with Mrs. iowaPete. Our original intention was to just capture the information for the two earth caches here. When I looked at the map, I realized that this traditional was here, too. A lot of muggles here today, but let's give it a try!
Well, I shoulda realized that we were going to struggle with gps lock here. The walls of the sinkhole wreaked havoc with my iPhone. We decided to just abandon the gps and use geo-sense to see if we could spot the cache.
We looked at 4 or 5 of the "usual suspects" without success. We waited patiently for a number of spots to be vacated by muggles before trying our search. Nada. Zip. Zero.
After about 20 minutes, I told Mrs. iP "no mas" and we started to head back to ground level....
And I noticed something.... unusual. A little closer inspection and BINGO! Cache in hand. [^] It's in great shape, too. Took a bit of work to extract the log sheet, but managed to gitrdun and replace it without any muggles becoming aware of it.
Nicely done!

1MM sat down to ponder things and managed to put her hand on the cache.

NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I were on a grand adventure along the Great Ocean Road, a trip that has been planned for us for a year.
Admiring the absolute beauty of the sinkhole, we couldn’t almost forgotten about this cache.... almost.
But soon we were looking, well the girls began before I did as I was slightly sidetracked by the stunning gardens down here. Did I mention yet how beautiful this place was?
Soon I joined them, and found the cache. while the girls looked in a totally different spot - pay attention to coordinates girls!
That was definitely a sneaky little cache... but I like it. Did I also mention how much I liked the sinkhole and it’s gardens?! Log signed as QQ for all of us (NyssaFlutterby, wombles and co, membsec and I).

We are on a road trip from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean Road (GOR). Membsec from Tassie, Nyssaflutterby, 1MinnieMoo and Wombles and Co all from Queensland. We met at the airport, late due to Jetstar’s strike (4 hours delayed for the Queenslanders) and then hit the road. We have a good selection of caches that we really want to get, so many in a short amount of time.
Day3
We signed the log book with QQ to save space and time. Now we weren’t expecting that! 1MinnieMoo was the person who came up with the goods for this one. Very well done and a favourite point from me.

Not sure if I found the correct one, but I found something at a favorite position...
Absolutely no clue! Without being able to trust the gps & not wanting to trample and garden beds in this spectacular garden, we searched for an hour before calling it quits!
Had a little help from a friend! Such a beautiful sinkhole! Came last night to feed the possums, and again today to see the sinkhole during the day. And of course find the cache!

Passing through from Brisbane on family holiday from Adelaide to Melbourne. Half a dozen muggles around so unfortunately this is a dnf for us. Thanks for the cache anyway!
We went to Mt Gambier for the day in Whitepaws9’s car. We enjoyed exploring the Town, Blue Lake and Sink Hole.
I was busy admiring the beautiful hole. You should see Whitepaws9's face when she found it. Lol. Sneaky hide.

DNF 3 years ago after the vic mega. Came back today. Less people. Still a pain in the a$%^ to find. My name is in the log finally. GZ is a nice location.
I swear we looked here last time and it wasn’t there. I’m not sure if I am saying that just to make myself feel better or if it was muggled. Nevertheless, great cache, great location. A fav from me
REVENGE IS SWEEEEEEEEEET!!!!!!
This cache got the better of us last time but not without suspicion of it being muggled. First location we checked this time, we had cache in hand and a huge sense of relief.
Thanks guys, great cache in a marvellous location. Let’s hope this one stays put!

Traveling australia. Out looking at the sinkhole. Thought we would do some caches in the area. Thanks for the cache
What an excellent hide in such a beautiful place. Out for a cache for gridge98. The cache was located and the log was very tricky to get out!! Whilst trying too hard to get the log it flung away which meant a new search for log! log located and signed all in intact. Thankyou for this great tricky hide!
After completing the early cache near by we wandered down to search for this cache, after some searching nettie knows made the find, after many attempts to get the log book out we flicked it and it flew into the garden! Oh no! We searched all around and after some time we found the log book luckily.
Day 3 of my trip with Nettie knows to Adelaide from Melbourne, an interesting journey filled with some fantastic adventures and caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache

A very thorough search of many areas and then specific focus on our target area and no luck for us today.
Found it together with vogi84 during our honeymoon in Australia. Greetings from Switzerland. Today we traveled from Mount Gambier to Victor Harbour. TFTC.

After a call for help was sent on the SA geocaching page, I received a PAF message in my inbox that allowed me to locate this tricky guy. My hands had been over the area several times!!! Not what I expected at all. FP For the idea and the location. Met a few local possums on my climb back up
Came by and gave this a go while in town. Not too many muggles but alas no luck today!
Stopped in Mount Gambier for the night.
Been here before.
Good to come back.
DNF after search.
Thanks

was with a previous finder but on this occasion the cache couldnt be found after trying for a good 20 minutes or so
As a previous finder, I came back here with the newest members of the geo family. There is no cache where I previously found it. Contacted a geo buddy who was one of the more recent finders and he confirmed he found it in the same place I had been looking.
This cache seems to be missing again, can CO please check.
Cheers

Searched for ages came up empty! Beautiful place and loved the exploration anyway. Will be back.
DNFd this one 2 years ago, so returned today to have another look. Both of us looked for about 20mins but couldnt find it.
PAFd a recent previous finder after this mornings DNF, who kindly gave us specific instructions for the cache location.
This afternoon we went there again and searched in the exact spot but it was not there. Highly suspect this one is missing

Can the CO please check on this cache as we believe it has gone missing - please see our recent DNF log
We searched all around for this one, and knew it would be difficult. However after tearing a lot of the stones and rocks apart, we still didn’t have the cache. I decided to send a few messages to Geocachers and a PAF, and luckily had a quick response from one that gave me a nudge. Returned to GZ and started looking once again, and after a short time, had the cache in hand. Very sneaky indeed, but good spot for it, thanks! Great spot here!
Came tonight to feed the possums. Kids loved it! I also got to revenge this cache and now I can turn it from a DNF to a smilie. It's just brilliant. Adding a fav point.
School holidays means a geocaching road trip for Team Clarmensma (me, becca85 and our 4 geokids - AdamSistema, LukeSistema, neisha07 and boo09). This time we headed west to Mount Gambier for a few days of exploring. Over the 3 days we did lots of kilometres travelling from Ballarat/Maryborough across to the Mount and then back via the Otways. We really appreciate all the teams who put caches out for us to find as without you there would be no geocaching! So many many thanks!

Glad to have put a face to a name a few days after this little experience. I needed to know who was responsible for the time suck that was this cache! I admit to PAFing because I just wanted to do some caches around the Mount before calling it a day and the tourists kept coming.
A FP for this one, bucketeer. Now I know what to expect when I make it over to Portland

Found it. retrieved while geo hubby distracted the muggles all is good with the cache a favourite from us. now to wait it out till muggles leave to replace . on a road trip from. Tassie
The three of us were staying in Millicent and headed to Mt Gambier with Team Scoobster for some caching and sightseeing.
Seeing that this cache was back online, we searched for ages with very poor sat lock. Eventually a really evil hide was located. Thankfully it wasn't too busy today - so we were able to sign and replace without being seen.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache bucketeer.
