This cache definitely took us a bit of effort to find. We followed the GPS which was leading us elsewhere and we saw a big tree which definitely felt cachey so we began our search. I grabbed a stick and was digging a hole to China trying to find it. When we came up with nothing we went through some old logs to find we were about as far away as China from GZ, wherever China is.
Knowing the coords were off we used past intel to get us in the right spot. Still we had to dig and I dug halfway to Russia (I blame the Earths magnetic core for sending us off course).
Somehow we eventually found the hide in a spot Mrs Woodyrothwell and I had searched a few times. Unfortunately the cache was full of water and the log toast. tftc

We found a container which we think was it. But empty and no paper. Please bring a new one.
Found it with my granddaughter on her first geocache adventure. She was very excited. Unfortunately it was just laying on the ground out in the open so I've hidden it where I think it should have been. She was still thrilled all the same
Out and about with chamad this morning. Our focus was the new cycle series, but we collected some others in the area as well.
This one had as stumped for a while, after reading previous logs it became apparent we needed to expand our search quite significantly.
Happy to say we ended up finding the cache.
Thanks onward bound and Cleveland girl.

A morning of caching with willis007 and a day for a leisurely Sunday bike ride. A ride from Capalaba to Cleveland enjoying the recent trail of caches on the bikeway. A nice variety of caches, some very tricky hides and some not so hard. It was a fun morning and by the end of the trail, we were done. We were planning on another ride further afield, but we were feeling a little lethargic from the heat and the humidity and called it a day. We still managed to grab a couple of the older caches in the area on our around and towards home. We were happy with our haul today, we got to take it easy and enjoy the caches and the surrounds.
After finishing the bike series we headed off to grab a few local caches in the area. This was one of those; it took us some time to find and a little reading of previous logs. The tree is not a camphor laurel and the coordinates are way out as others have suggested. The hint does give some indication as to where the hide is. We spent way too long here for this smiley. Thanks for the hide and with the log signed and cache replaced as found, we were off to the next one.

The cache is now an ants hide, careful on opening. Didn’t read the comments or the hint until I came up empty oops. TFTC

Caching has never really been about the numbers. I drive generally over a thousand km's a week (some for work, some to explore, some for the kids, and some just because I have to) so there's always a cache or two to break up the drive. Having said that, I also enjoy numbers, fulfilling challenges, and quirky statistics. It's for this reason, I'm going to aim to fill my dates found and dates hidden this year, and a few other challenges in the local area.
I reckon I've been here before, and I reckon I was searching nowhere near where I was searching today. Working out of Cleveland overnight, this presented another opportunity to come back and knock this one off the map. Freezing cold, and with the car heater working overtime, I took a lot of persuasion to get me out. Made a quick find based off comments and hints from previous logs and they weren't wrong about the ants.
So many ants! Signed the log and replaced the cache, sealing as best I can. Given how many ants were on there, it's amazing the actual cache is still in good condition. There were hundreds! Must be non-biting ants (if thats even a thing) as I didn't cop a single bite.
Thanks for the cache **onward bound**

Nice little park, without swings. The cords are out by 25m.
Cache found near the hint “seat”.
Cache is full of ants, that don’t bite. Log is double bagged and dry.
Thanks for bringing me to the area.

Tried at last night but all I found was my arch nemesis....Mr Cane Toad. Tried again today and no luck again. Lots of dead leaves - will bring gloves when I return. 3rd time lucky?
Wow. What a great cache. For some reason, I'm not going to sign this one. Also, it's probably too early for my brain to try find it.
Struggled a bit with this one. Cache was well covered so bring a stick! Log is a tad wet and we forgot a pen today but signed it in spirit.
Upon pulling up at the location we both looked at each other with the same thought…
"Haven't we been here before?"
Yes we have, but there was a muggle on the phone, pacing back and forth in front of GZ. We waited for him to finish and leave, but he didn't.
Should have logged as DNF but couldn't bring ourselves to as we didn't actually look...
Much better luck today. Sat down for a small picnic after which we then had the cache in hand in a matter of moments.
Nice little nook.

The hint was very useful. It was on the ground when we came across it. The GPS had us around 20m off. But Peppa spied it and we were able to log a good find. Out with PirateLinda
As we started across the park we stopped short thanks to the clue... we found the cache on the ground so made our marks, replaced the snap lock bag and returned where we thought it should live...

Looked everywhere but could not find anything it has been so windy, wondering if it could have blown away !?!
A few likely options for a cache. Would have taken a bit longer if we didn't read the hint. TFTC
In the area waiting for a medical procedure. Coords are out by about 15mtrs. took more notice of the hint than the GPS so Sat down for a rest.
Cache is full of ants. Managed to clean it up but .....

Definitely don't go by co ordinates and take a seat. Log is full. Thank you my daughter is loving the hunt.
Was on the ground. Could only be found with the hint our coordinates were totally out. TFTC
Sitting and thinking meant we found the only spot. Good searching by the young one meant we soon had it in hand. Nice park.
Very glad to find this one and manage to get it from it’s hiding place. The log was signed and all replaced as found before moving on. Many thanks.
Cheers and happy caching!

Previous log were helpful in determining GZ but getting our hand on the container was a little challenging for the finder. Thanks.
After arriving here and reading previous notes in particular about waypoints, we started looking in the area that we thought was GZ. We were right! A good hide - log signed and cache placed back where found. TFTC
The third caching trip for today.
This time I was joined by the better half, as driver and POD DJ.
Caching towards a stat goal for November, after this one I just need 207or so more finds.
Coords are way out
Thank you

Our last and 10th cache for the day. We found this was 24 m out but as gz didn't have anything to sit on we decided to just investigate an object and it turned out to be the correct location. TFTC.
Sigh a DNF today
Another time I'll come this way
As darkness fell I turned away
Next time will be a find okay?

Ermergerd we have been carried away by the mosquitos and then the ants. We did not enjoy it, but we got it.
There maybe two caches here the one I found was the replacement ozitracker had put down. I am the only one who have signed the cache log since replaced. There has been 6 logs since the replacement so it indicates either there is another one in the area or people are mis logging finds. Maybe someone will find both. I suggest the next few finders should indicate who was the last to sign to establish if there is two in play
I had corrected coordinates saved for this cache so I must have read previous logs at some time in the past even though I have never been here. Nonetheless, it meant that I headed straight to the seat after parking in the convenient parking spot nearby. I sat on the seat while a couple of older men wandered through the park heading in different directions. It has certainly been the day for muggles today. But, after that, I was free to search.
I quickly located the pen mentioned in a previous log. It was on the ground under the seat. However, despite inspecting all facets of the seat thoroughly, I was unable to locate a cache. After reading a few old logs, I wondered whether it wasn't, in fact, on the seat at all. So I decided to check a couple of nearby areas, both without success. Then, as I returned to the seat to grab my jumper and leave, I spotted the container on the ground in the leaf litter. The container and log are fine so, after signing the log, I placed it in a spot I thought suitable. Hopefully it will stay there this time.
Thanks for the cache.

Wow great find at first we couldn’t find the seat but then we got our hands on it yes! TFTC!
Like others before us we sat on the seat and wondered why we were getting readings that would take us 20metres away. After a short search there we realised we needed to go and have a seat and think about it. Then we if it's not there it must be...there, and we soon had our hands on it. We then had trouble opening lid as it is starting to erode.
Log was dripping wet inside too.
We had a very similar replacement container so we placed new log in that and put it exactly where the other one was.
It's now ready for the next finder.
