Found it with my son while visiting from USA. Fun find! Thanks for keeping it up all these years!
Passing through, staying at my sister-in-laws nearby on the way home from a week around Fraser Island. An interesting little spot. Thanks for the cache and cheers from Browngang
Today we spent part of the day in Caloundra, beach, market and geocaching. This Lighthouse was one of the places we visited and wrote our name in the booklet.TFTC to Wesso Family for keeping up our hobby!
We are in QLD for a quick visit mainly concentrating on Adventure Labs Earth caches and Virtuals as we don't have to worry about muggles with these types of caches. But we will look for anything else close by.We were here for a stage of an Adventure Lab and were not going pass this one with out a look.We headed off to GZ and after a little search we spotted something and as we got there it was the cache container hide. After adding our mane to the log book we returned every thig as it was before heading off. Many thanks wesso family for the nice hide in an interesting location.
No snakes head day lots of rain had no issue finding cache it it's snug little home. Thanks
Looked to climb the rock wall until a snakes head appeared so nope, no find today!
Forgot to log this cache the other day!! found on the 24/06/2024 @7:10pm. with Woodwahdi. I left a couple of fun swaps as seen in picture. another great Wesso cache hidden well but easy to find. thanks so much!!
bunadoorian and I came here today to try and find this cache. I loved seeing the old lighthouse. bunadoorian found this cache first. TFTC and for bringing us here Wesso Family.
It took us a little while to locate this cache but we got there in the end. Great views from the lighthouse. TFTC.
Woke early this morning and decided to head north to pick up a cache to complete the May challenge north of Brisbane. There were also a couple more need for my next DT Loop so it was a perfect storm to head north. After picking up a few lab caches in the area to warm up I soon moved on to physical caches in the area.Arriving at ground zero the cache was soon in my sights, log extracted and signed before replacing back carefully for the next lucky cacher.A big thanks to the cache owner for placing this cache for the enjoyment of others.Cheers
Such an amazing location and hide. Took a little walking past it at least 10 tomes and looking straight at it before finally deciding to lift a rock. Found it no trackable present. TFTC Wesso Family
Fascinating spot, came here to complete some nearby Adventure Labs and it wouldve been rude not to come and visit this nice old cache. Quickly located and signed due to the very accurate coordinates, thanks for continuing to maintain this for more than 10 years.
After attending this afternoon's CITO on North Bribie Island, and completing the 5 x A/Ls around Caloundra, this cache was found along the way...The last place you'd expect to find a lighthouse, hahaha, TFTC wesso family
Out doing Adventure Lab a couple of days ago and signed off this one which was nearby.
I was here completing two different AdLabs when I discovered this trad was also here. Thanks for the cache Wesso Family
Today i was nearby and decided to turn this into a smiley after a previous DNF a long time ago. Today i stood back and looked for a little before i spotted a likely spot for the hide and bingo. Great to turn the blue into a nice yellow smiley. Thanks for all the fun. Oh and looks like i put the wrong date down on the log book. typical of me and i work in a memory clinic. lol
Love a bit of rock climbing without being spotted. Also chuckled when we find someone else found it but they didn’t find it until tomorrow!!
All is well with the cache nice and dry. Log signed and returned.

Sorting out the rocks always takes us longer than it should. Eventually turned the right one without being muggled. Cache was in good order.
Find 6 of 10 on a transfer day from the Hinterland down to Brisvegas via Caloundra.
After our long walk round we made it back to the car and then stopped off here for two Ad Lab qns and a trad - busy spot! Mrs O caught sight of the cache from below.
TFTC Wesso Family!

Our No. 1 in Australia and on another continent. And on top of that, the first cache of the smallest PLOMM found all by herself. Even small cachers grow up sometime .
Many thanks to wesso family for the information about the lighthouse and the laying out of the box, very nicely done.
Many greetings from Germany,
PLOMM
PLOMM

Our last day on the sunny coast and we were very keen to get out, soak up some more great weather and spend some time at our favourite spots grabbing as many caches as we could.
Every time we come up here I always mean to stop in here and check out the lighthouse up close and grab this cache. Finally today was the day! Thanks to a generous hint this was a nice quick find and GGCoconut was very pleased to be able to make some swaps. A bonus too that this location is more or less a 3 in 1 in combination with nearby ALs
Thanks very Wesso Family for placing this and bringing us here today ️

A quick find by Larrakin our Lemur. Out celebrating our 40th Wedding Anniversary today in the place we came to for our honeymoon. TFTC
Out killing some time before work this morning. This was a great spot, hidden away from prying eyes. A nice quick find. TFTC!
Out caching as we travel the country. Nice history here and an easy find. Tftc
Found it, lots of places it could be!!
Says there’s a trackable but there’s not.

Found safe and sound. Thank you for bringing us to this interesting historical site.
It was too wet to go to the beach this morning and by the afternoon GeoM was bored so I brought him along with me for an afternoon of caching.
After a successful afternoon caching we stopped at the lighthouse to log the AdLabs here. We have found this cache the last couple of years we have stayed here but it seems I have never actually logged it. GeoM remembered and took me straight to the cache and I signed again today. This time, I won’t forget to log it.
Thanks wesso family for this cache we have enjoyed finding several times!

Quick find this morning. Took a bit of searching but I found it eventually. TFTC!
Easy to find but tricky spot to grab so be careful thank you wesso family for the cache
Came by the lighthouse today to grab this one. Once at GZ, it took a bit of time, but eventually I saw the telltale shape of a cliplock hidden away. Unfortunately the TB wasn't inside so it has been taken without being logged. Signed log and replaced as found, thanks wesso family!
I’ve come to the coast for the day… to visit some friends and go caching…
It didn’t take long to uncover the container…
Removed some trash and left New Beginnings TB to carry on… tftc…

Dropped the wife off at a colleagues place in Caloundra and could see the top of the lighthouse from there - so what must I do.... Go find the cache of course.
Okay, parked the car close and walked to where I thought this might be. Can see a rock wall, so grabbed a stick, and started to reach up for where I felt the cache might be.
Only to have a voice ask me what I was doing. Of crap, I had not even seen this lady sitting under the tree (what she was doing is debatable too). Anyway, I said I was geocaching. She had no idea what that was but threated me that if I did anything to upset the "nature" she would report me to the police.... (So maybe she wasn't sitting doing drugs like it looked like).
Well, proceeded to get the cache, sign and return it, without her actually seeing what I was doing (tree cover worked for me this time).
So squiggle secured, strange encounter had, time to move on.
Thanks for placing the cache!

Along for the ride with fng-affl, and grab a cache or two, or more if time allows, Thanks for the cache wesso Family
Greetings from Singapore!
This is our 1st cache in Australia, thank you CO
My family and I decided to trek up the steepest road (Arthur Street) we have ever seen, and found the lighthouse just before dinner. The hint was helpful and our geosense immediately kicked in. Found the right spot but did not dig deep enough the 1st time round. Searched for another 15 mins before we tried the 1st spot again. Dug deeper and cache in hand
Happy holidays everyone!

We found The Old Caloundra Lighthouse while out and about on a rainy spring day.
The gpsr got me close then the geosense kicked in for a very quick find. Cache is in very good condition
Thanks Wesso Family for hiding this cache so that we could come and enjoy ourselves

So many potential hiding spots but once you look for something a little odd it is easy to spot. Thanks for the local cache
Lots of potential hiding spots, it took me a little longer than it should have! TFTC
Nice find on the way back from a walk around the headland - a nice spot, and thankfully for a not so brave kiwi not a snake in site
Dropped off This Ewok Goes around the World TB to continue his journey, Hiker Smurf II TB visited

A very nice quick and easy find at a lovely location at the top of Caloundra. So nice here in the shade and on the grass that Mrs Riddell decided to have her lunch break here.
A great deal of interesting material to read here as well.

Found this cache while being out for a daytrip with our muggle family. We decided to go see another part of the muggle family who happens to live directly next door to the old light house.
DFC and Princess 1005 quickly made the find while MummaBear66 was adding some ink to the log. JLK started writing this log.
Thanks for the Cache placement and maintenance Wesso Family

Lance took the herbs and spices on their first geocaching adventure they didn’t know what it was and took us 4 a little bit to find the small container with help of the hint! An old couple thought we were schoolies doing a fun little drug deal so good times
Out and about with the Bribie Crew (Domsky, Snickersallan and willis007). After our fun paddle across the passage, we completed some adventure labs and collecting nearby caches.
This one took a bit of poking about, after expanding the search a little the cache was found as described in the hint.
Thanks wesso family for bringing us to visit the lighthouse.

1.5 2.0 Small Traditional Cache
Out and about with the Bribie Crew (Domsky Snickersallan and willia007). After our fun paddle across the passage we did some ad labs. I've DNF this cache twice already, have even had hints and photos from previous finders. Perhaps it crept? Maybe I really suck at caching?? Willis007 found it in the end. Yey! Happy dance!
Thanks for the cache and taking us here wesso family.

A nice day spent in Caloundra with geo friends picking up a few caches and Adventure Labs. Loved visiting the nearby lighthouse and the bonus of a cache as well which was found by Willis007.
Thanks CO, good hide amongst all the possibilities.

With E_Smiley in tow, we brought our team of five in to turn her sad DNF into a yellow .
With 10 eyes, and a methodical approach, we soon had a smiley for all. We did our best impersonations of 5 council workers looking after 4 square metres of garden!
Thanks Wesso Family

Travelling north with my geokids for a family holiday and made a coastal detour
Parked the car and checked out the old lighthouse - wow. Now better go and find the cache. Took some time to find, there were a number of spots to check, but eventually found. TFTC wesso family
With my Saturday morning chores done and a Sunday morning planned bike ride around Ewen Maddock Dam, I saw the perfect opportunity to knock off a few more of those sunshine coast caches, giving me time to add to that challenge in the area. A drive north saw me stuck in a 3 hr traffic jam, hmmm this is not helping. I had contacted triple turmoil and she too was happy to grab a few on the coast.
We jumped into one car and headed around Caloundra and surrounding areas searching for caches. We collected a few trads, multi’s, puzzles and labs in the afternoon and into the night before camping out. It was a fun, but time did get away on us very quickly.
Funny story, I thought I had found this one already and let triple turmoil head off to find while I set off to do the lab that was there. With the Lab done I walked over and sat to watch TT dig around looking for the cache and throw out a few expletives. I then looked at my phone and realised, I haven’t done this one so maybe I should go and look. I walked down the path and walked straight up to the cache. Just more expletives from TT, lol. With the log signed and cache replaced as found, we were off to continue our journey around this area. Thanks for the hide.

Chamad and I decided to meet up on this lovely "getting closer to spring" day. We need to get 555 Sunshine Coast caches for a Challenge cache we collected last weekend. Let's just say I am a looooooooong way off. So we spent Saturday afternoon and way into the night collecting caches and so early the next morning that I am wondering why we bothered to go to sleep
By this one, it was quite dark but we (well Chamad) managed to find the cache.
