Veey quiet here today. Cache found on ground in the open. Replaced where i thought it should be. Thankyou for the cache
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
I attended Bengalee Scout camp with 1st Helensburgh Scouts. Had quite a nice time swimming in the nearby Tapitallee Creek just a little upstream of its junction with the Shoalhaven River. Tapitallee Creek seems to rise and fall with the tidal movements of the larger river. The creek itself has a very muddy bottom and seems a bit muddy and "stinky" but on the weekend we were here was quite fine for swimming, though hydrogen sulfide eruptions from treading on the organic rich mud did smell from time to time. But the deeper water was OK, there were fish swimming and I don't seem to have gotten sick. So all good thus far.
Of note at the scout camp is an rather odd looking gumtree. This is apparently a renowned location amongst the Muslim community (it's listed online somewhere as a place to visit). The tree rises out of the ground about 1 metre, bends horizontally for another metre before rising vertically again. The overall shape of the tree looks a bit like someone prostrating themselves to pray and the tree itself is aligned at (as I was told by a visiting muslim) to 270 odd degrees which means it faces towards Mecca in Saudi Arabia. Thus to Muslims it resembles someone praying to Mecca.

Spent my day clearing more of my 50km radius. Before today, Nowra has been untouched - so I put today to some real good use! I found around 40 today. A solid chunk (1/6) of the remaining finds! 10am-6pm Weather stayed fine until 5:00-ish - but I was nearly done by then!
Thanks for all the caches today & thanks to the cache owners in the area!
---End of Copied Section---
31st today, Surprised to grab a Hoojar cache today - Cheers!

Stay in Nowra for few weeks.
Enjoy wandering / caching around here.
Good to know Scout Camp here.

After dropping Geoson at school I had a beautiful full day of spring geocaching ahead of me as I ambled down to Nowra for the Waratah 2014 GWSR Venturer Scout weekend.
A fitting end to the day as I arrived at my destination.

Another quick find on the way towards the zoo today- I've been in many times before for different events but just passing today! TFTC!
Found with geoson while out riding our bikes. The Son didn't even need any assistance on this one as he found it without the help of the GPS
Was at the Scout camp this weekend on a Cub Leadership camp. Found this on the way out! Thanks
Our first ever Geocache find for me and daughter Sophie!
A nice easy one to start

I have a great location to place it on its race to UK. The race competitor pongo is still waiting to get off go while Navy has gone. Go Raffie Go
Ahh, memories. I camped here plenty of times as a scout from 1st Shoalhaven River Sea Scouts. That was a good start to a good life, so a good place to get my milestone 900th cache. Left the Raffie and Pongo TBs here to start their race to Portsmouth, England. TFTC
Pongo hitched a ride out of here illegally. Now he has been returned to the cache with his mate Raffie. Hope to get to Portsmouth soon. Poor old Raffie is rather slow you know. [^]
Found this one with the family under the supervision of the GeoBoss (with her eyes closed). Good to see this cache has returned. Thanks Hoojar TNLN SL [^]
# 5633 Found on our VIC and NSW east coast adventure on another
drive around the area while staying at Nowra.
Nice and quiet and no muggles around while I was here.
But then as I drove away 3 buses passed me heading down to the scout camp. That was close.
TN LN SL Thanks for the cache Hoojar,
Roostaman.

Found amid much laughter as driving Akubra followed directions from navigating Akubra. Easy park and grab once we reached destination. Took yoyo, left spinning ball.
Thanks for the cache and bringing us out here, Hoojar

Yep, easy stop and grab. Place looks locked up and deserted from here. We have walked along the river by this camp and seen the scouts working their canoes. Looks like a lot of fun. SL..TFTC
An impromptu visit to Nowra to tick off some of these outlying caches. This was a quick find - I was tempted to continue on to the two more in this area but was feeling a bit faint from lack of food. So, off I headed to my traditional South Nowra Oporto feast instead. TFTC!
Found cache with 1st North Rocks and AdventurousOne whilst at a Scout Camp.
At our annual Scout Fun Camp we took time out to enjoy searching for this cache as well as introduce some young Scouts to the game. And what a hidden gem this site is. The creek is ideal for canoeing, the beautiful bush is spectacular - but what the boys loved the best was the old 'Red Rattler' they slept in.
I was in the neighbourhood this evening so decided to make the detour & grab a couple of caches. I missed the left turn to the Scout Camp and made the next turn left. This took me to some very large gates and fences that looked like they should have had razor wire on top. Two huge spot lights came on as I was turning around. If it wasn't for the huge white cross I would have thought I was at a concentration camp. The only thing missing were guard dogs. The right road was then taken & cache easily located. SL TFTC

A quick find while we were nearby for the wherigo cache. We drove down the unpaved road, stopped at the locked gates, thought at first that we'd need to go then realised of course the cache would be accessible from outside.
After logging duties & replacing the container, we entered the coords for the next cache into the car-gps. And it did its usual thing of warning us that we were leaving from an unpaved road & gave us the option of not continuing. I get so tempted to press the no option, we don't want to continue & see what ideas it comes up with for getting us out of there .
Anyway, thanks for the cache

We were in this area to do the nearby Whereigo, so we decided to look for this one also. We stopped outside the closed gates and made an easy find. Thanks
Dropped in quickly to have a look, which is quite strange as my dad is Deputy Camp Warden, and I am up there quite frequently. Found it very easily. TFTC.
P.S. Although the area is Bangalee, the Scout Camp is Bengalee with an 'e'. No idea why.

Found it by geowife because I knew where it was, because the previous one was my firth cache ever.

I was in the area, sans GPS, and decided to detour to take a look. The old Gatekeeper was my 4th cache ever, so I was confident that the new chum would be not too difficult to find, even without a compass arrow to follow. The cache was exactly where I was expecting it to be - and not very well concealed. I hid it a bit better than the way I found it. Thanks Hoojar.
Nice quick and easy find although we took the wrong road and had to turn around. TFTC. Found with snorris an marachup.
Found whilst picking up my scouts form the Jamborette. Go 1st Keiraville. Thanks Hoojar for your cache.
Another quick and easy find; I made a quick detour after farewelling family who had come down to visit at the inlaws, always nice to have an excuse to get out on the mean green machine. Thanks Hoojar for the cache.
