What I thought would be a dead country road, actually turned out being very busy which made my parking maneuvers and walking down the road in the dark to get to GZ suspicious at best.
Same as ridders, I got a couple of tyres, a couple of logs, but no cache. No dead animals for me either at least.

Dead animal carcasses. Discarded car tyres. Bit of a shame.
Came across two objects matching the hint but came away empty handed.

Good find in the end.
Most obvious place it could be was pieces of a log scattered all over the place.
Had passed earlier and spotted what looked like a cacher and I had to see if there was a cache hidden nearby.
One of the logs helped me to find it without disturbing its surroundings.

It sure was a bush bash. Not where I thought it would be but close. Was going to give up when I spotted something colourful at ground level. TFTC
Out for a bit of a walk, seen as I don't have much work on, so let's get paid to go geocaching instead.
No problems here, nice work by the school!
TFTC Aslan*, the cache was found in good order Signed, sealed and returned to GZ. 6 find(s) of 10 today, making this find #3611

Day 4/5 in Christchurch before heading on a road trip to Hamilton.
Today's adventure took me to Tai Tapu with a few stops along the way.
After a stroll around the Domain it was time for a wee tiki tour before heading home. Quick find here TFTC

Tftc. Just stopped on the way home from the quarry as the kids insisted on looking for geocache
Sent the Partner in Caching out to get this one while I stayed in the car....Cache found....Log signed and returned...TFTC
Heading back to town after completing the Adventure Lab cache(s) in Lincoln and stopped to look for this one. It took a while. Didn’t spot any logs initially but came across a reasonably tame chook instead (see photo). Found a large log which I searched inside and turned over, etc, but nothing. Carried on the search and found another couple of rotting logs but they weren’t hiding any cache! Started thinking DNF thoughts, but a final burst yielded the goods close to the first large log. It really shouldn’t have been that difficult! #4541. TFTC.
Another hide that KCN had already found and kindly stopped off for me to collect the smiley Had a bit of a time reaching it (might've gone the harder way!) but was straight forward once there. Wish I could've stayed and removed some of the plastic protectors from the base of the trees...they've all grown up and don't need protecting anymore but are now being restricted by them instead...hmm...CITO idea one day?? TFTC!
Nice to see the planting. Found the hint easy enough, and soon spotted something outnif place. TFTC
Wandered around, followed the elephant track, eventually read the clue. Found a couple of matching hint items, but no cache. Poked, prodded, rolled, still none. Then, when just about to leave, spotted it tucked away nearby. Don't take the clue too literally, and it's the less rotten hint item. TFTC.
Found after a little search, about 2m from where we thought the hint was leading us. TFTC!
Can't be bothered trudging through brush like that with tyres and assorted rubbish, and with what looked like the decaying ribcage of some animal. Thanks but no thanks.
Thx Aslan*, lovely little site and a real shame to see it spoiled by all that careless rubbish. Go Ladbooks school for planting it up over the years.
This area appears to have become a dumping ground for old beds, tyres and animal carcasses. Only found cache after I kicked a couple of tyres out of the way. Nowhere close to safely park as this Rd is actually quite busy. I left the geopup in the car. Tftc
Cache lying in open, so tucked in closer to an upright, still easily visible, thanks
Fun cache that sent me in several directions. Found the clever hide. Thanks for this cache Aslan*.
Perfect timing for a beautiful day after two days of horrible weather when I was stuck inside at a conference! I bit on the chilly side in the morning, but the temperatures certainly improved as the day went on. Had to stop here seeing that the cache has been replaced. TFTC!!
On our way to Christchurch, we stopped from time to time to log some caches. This one was a quick find.
TFTC!

Nice and straightforward though the hint is getting a bit dry and worn out. Many thanks
Today I had time between work commitments and travelling home to go out and find a few caches. Logging this one a bit out of order as I seemed to have missed it. TFTC, Biggles.
With more than one hint item to check on this took an embarrassing amount of time - I think I checked them all! The important thing, of course, was that I *did* get there and signed the log. Dropped a TB I found in Waimate too.

Stopped here last night but had outdated info on my GPSr about the status. Today quick found. TFTC.
No luck here, and I left no hint object unturned. Unfortunately the young plantings are not benefiting from this much attention and trampling around them. One even had a log squashing it
We decided to make a second stop when we were heading to see a movie. Had to pick the right spot. Soon had the cache. No lid though, getting a bit soggy. Tftc.
#14349. Troodles had a trademe pickup to make in Halswell, so we picked up a few caches out this way. We found a good park on the other side of the road, before the cache (coming from SH75). We made hard work of locating the cache; in the end Troodles spotted it somewhere that it should have been easy to see. TFTC.
A trademe pick up in Halswell this afternoon was turned into a caching opportunity, so StreetWalker and I headed a little further out of town to find a few caches near Tai Tapu.
The cache wasn't an instant find -unbelievably as it was quite obvious when I finally spotted it . Surprisingly dry inside given that the lid is AWOL.
Great job by Ladbrooks school, though we missed out on reading the sign. TFTC.

Took a wee bit to track this one down but got there in the end. Not much room to park anywhere for this one but that's no worries. Tftc found with chiko 1
Quick find on a very wet Sunday afternoon with nothing else to do. This one needs a lid, the platic bag won't last for ever... TFTC
Found cache a few metres away from where the GPS wanted it to be. The lid is missing. A few items still in there and log is in plastic bag. Tftc
seen already fron the road. covered it a bit better for the next one. thanks for the box and the adventure. rolofant
Easy find on a day of 33 degrees C - good to see such work by the school. Thanks and cheers from Grandalf(2349)
Time to pick up a few caches between Weedons and Tai Tapu. This was the eighth for the day.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
this is creating fond memories of an old school friend with the same surname who just happens to now be a deputy principal at a rural school. TFTC #7388
This was the seventh day of my fifteen day trip to go to the Christchurch Mega. I saw lots of trees planted here, but not one school planted. TFTC.
We have the feeling that this might have been a stop of a niche Multi, but maybe we are wrong. This was a quick find, TFTC
Having an Easter "it's all about the numbers" weekend. Day 4.
A quick park and grab.

Our family's 50th find - TFTC! A great day out, on the way home from the quarry. Left daughters travelbug to celebrate
