Today we took a loop out of town which headed back towards Stanthorpe then out to the southern end of Lake Leslie before heading up to the lake wall and then back into Warwick. We were hoping for warmer weather but it was a mixture of very light showers with some sunny patches and light winds.A couple of DNFs as well as being thwarted with some tree fishing caches as our fishing pole just isn't long enough. We ill have to rethink that when we get home. Its happening more and more!A good day caching.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache 2 shadows.**SKI Pair****

Filling in more gaps in our calendar geocaching bought us to Glen's Rest. Not the sort of rest area I thought it would be.
In the most unlikely place I looked. A lot of rubbish lying around
Thanks 2 shadows

Nice little hide on our way home from Stanthorpe. Easy park and grab with the caravan in tow. Thanks to the 2 shadows
I pulled up top of an ants nest and wandered over for a quick find. Thanks for the fun 2 shadows
This was the first time that I have been back to Stanthorpe since the Mega in 2015 and in the meantime I have solved a lot of the puzzles and there are a lot more caches to find.
The GPS had me wandering around for a while and I think I found it without too much help from the GPS

Before being joined by all of Davinells, Snickersallan & E_Smiley for a couple of nights at Queen Mary Falls I got to spend the day in Warwick hunting the new caches, a couple of archived caches and anything else that I stepped over (read: made a huge detour to find)…
After a lovely catch-up with Dunmowin in town, I decided to head South and cache until the others made it to Warwick….
Heading back towards Warwick, this was a nice quick find… tftc… the container has seen better days…

I found this geocache on a mystical journey from South Australia, through Victoria, New South Wales and back again.
I did log all of the caches on my handheld GPS however some of the logs did not sychronise properly so I apologise for the generic log on these caches, which are the ones that didn't log proprly from my GPS.
I had a fantastic journey and thank you for placing and maintaining your geocache or earthcache for visitors like me.

I have just had the best weekend caching around the Warwick, Summit and Stanthorpe areas. With caching buddies (geonayfee, Willis007 and Triple Turmoil) for the weekend we got in a very large number of caches, completing the apple geoart, the fruit run and a few other special caches along the way. I had a fantastic weekend with lots of laughs and funny events it just made for a fun time; the puzzle solving in the lead up to the weekend was great also.
A big thanks to all the CO’s of the caches along the way; for placing and maintaining the caches for us to enjoy. Visiting this area and seeing places I would never see in a normal trip here was enlightening, so again thanks.
In the weekend I got around 180 caches so firstly apologies for the generic part to the log, I do not remember all specifically but some did stand out so I will add a little to those in my posts.
A nice easy find, thanks for placing it here.

I was invited to join Chamad, TripleTurmoil and Willis007 for an epic Geocaching adventure on the Granite Belt and surrounding areas. Our morning started bright an early at Warwick (For some good ole caffeine goodness) and slowly but surely we made our way south towards Stanthorpe while grabbing MANY caches on the way.
The main goal for the weekend was to complete the Stanthorpe GeoArt and sign a couple of the challenge caches. We had a wonderful yet tiring day, we did plenty of driving and visited several locations I haven't been to before
Thank you to each and every CO for places caches at these location. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and had a blast. We'll certainly enjoy our sleep tonight.
Signed as Twocans
Apologies for the copy pasting crap.

After meeting Willis007 and Chamad at a previous event over New Years, they invited me to join them on an epic geoart mission at Stanthorpe. After weeks of puzzling and planning, today was the day (together with Nayfee). We covered a lot of mileage, had a lot of laughs and learnt a lot along the way.
Between Warwick and Stanthorpe there are a LOT of caches to sign and we did a pretty good job of getting every single one we could - signed as Twocan to save 25 seconds of signing at each cache, as we had work to do!

Heading out to Stanthorpe this weekend to grab some of the wonderful caches on offer out here. Our group of Triple Turmoil, CHAMAD and NayFee signed logs as team TWOCAN.
An easy find at gz today.
Thank you for the cache 2 shadows.

A few to find while working in the area during the week. A nice quick find and last one for the day. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC
Day 3 of our Granite Belt Grabathon saw us heading North back to the GC. At least today is not wet! The temperature may reach 13 degrees today but the wind is stronger so probably still an apparent temperature of around 6 degrees. No one ever said the Geocaching was meant to be easy!

We are heading south and keep finding caches on the north bound side of the road. Haha all this turning around is making me feel dizzy. TFTC
After a trip to Armidale and collecting a few caches along the way, I just had to get a cache with this name in it. Didn't take long to nab this one, log signed and cache replaced where found. TFTC
2230 - I found this cache without the use of any technology as we stopped here for a stretching and smoke break on our way south for our annual golfing holiday. I spotted a likely hiding spot just a short walk from the rest area at around 8:15am. Found in good condition. Thanks for the cache Two shadows.
This was a nice quick drive by as we are hoping to make it into Stanthorpe today and we spent a lot of time taking photos on the road that the Pikes' series was on. Thanks for the cache.
We pulled into this rest stop on our way home for a quick stretch of the legs as a cache was in it. We wouldn't of bother stopping if there was no plastic in here but hey there was. We parked as possible to GZ and thankfully all the other travellers today were down the other end so we had the area to our selves to search.
It wasn't long before we had it.

When Herbz sent an invite out for a weekend of camping and caching at Girraween NP, we were very keen to come along to catch up with some great friends and to explore another fantastic area Unfortunately, Mrs Just a Trifle received a call for some 'Grandma' help and found herself at very short notice in Perth, missing out on the fun of the weekend
It was certainly very cold overnight, but it didn't take very long for everyone to get warmed up There were some spectacular views to be had and Mr Just a Trifle had a terrific weekend
After tackling Terrawambella and Terrawambella 2 yesterday, it was time to pick up a few caches in the Stanthorpe area before returning home. The cache was located easily enough and then it was on to the next one
Thank you for having placed the cache and for maintaining it for everyone to enjoy

A road trip with Stephlego, WillPunkey and Scoob which started near Bathurst then down to the snow near Jenolan caves back to Bathurst for some ice skating and then a drive to Toowoomba Qld with a few caches to break up the trip. This one was the last one of a long day of driving. Thanks for the cache.
Thank you CO for placing. All is good with cache. Left some fairy dust. Miss 12 found it was not together so fixed it up
Took a bit of finding despite good co-ords and a cameo container we know well! TFTG cache maker and 2 shadows.
Tftc 2 Shadows, this one had the 4 of us searching! We did find this one but really believe that it is not an extra small....good camo

I set out bright and early this morning for a day of caching, but not before I'd kidnapped a geo-guru on my way through Toowoomba, to be my chauffeur, and to find a few he had yet to get further south. It was a big day and a good day. Found this one and signed the log, thanks for the cache!
I haven't been caching for a while. I've been sick, and I've been helping out some mates. I've come up to Brisbane to help look after my aged Mum after her hip replacement. I was meant to arrive yesterday, but stopped in Stanthorpe due to tiredness. I didn't sleep well, so I amd stopping for caches on the way to keeep myself awake. I'm doing some of the fruit run that I didn't get to on my last trip two years ago. That is giving me a cool ten out of ten to start off with and to see how I go.
I've done a string of Fruit Runs, and felt up to driving the 20 kms to here. Got here safely, and still alert. Easy find.
Find no 12 of 13 today.
Thanks, 2 shadows

Despite accurate coordinates, it took a few minutes to locate this cache as it blended well into the area. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks 2 shadows for the cache.
Have passed many times but always occupied, this time no one in site so a quick stop and collect.

With a milestone coming up, I decided to go roadtrippin' down to the Granite Belt and Tenterfield to pick up a swag of smilies I missed while visiting for the Mega last year. Left Brisbane at 0330 and after 15 hrs on the road driving 650kms, managed to find precisely 100 caches .
This one gave me a good laugh, its a camouflaged container sitting under something which is the absolute opposite . Not sure if that was the intention, but it's working fine. Signed log and returned as found.
This cache is in good condition, thanks **2 shadows** for showing us this spot. Discover our code TGQNRV, and mention where you saw it.

On our last day of weekend, it was raining and I mean that. It was pouring rain. The parks were flooded and I was together with crazy people who still continued caching. This was one cache which we found in the rain.
