I found the first next treasure. It was it was good easy and pretty good so we are so good as a team and we had really fun. It was great and I think I think Ill say thanks for Daniela for helping us and we our names are Sadia Tyler Cooper Daniela, and Zaver.

Cache 1801 Todays mission was to tackle a chunk of the current cosmic quest from Geocaching HQ. After returning from Lumsden cycle trail it was grab a couple more caches in Winton, I didnt realise this was a cemetery cache till I parked up, never mind be brave I thought, headed over to 0m and it was in the middle of open grass so checked out the hint and started hunting I eventually found the cache at 14m away from GZ cache is in good condition T4TC

Was a prickle to find

Today we continued our roadtrip and from Te Anau and our first target was Bluff. The day ended in Haast.We made a short stop and tried to find the right spot. It was not so easy but finally we got the right grave and the cache was not far away We just read the history of Minnie Dean - a bit spooky Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#24042]

Quick find, I spotted the likely spot when I walked towards GZ. Interesting visiting this grave, as a child growing up in Southland she was part of many ghost stories. TFTC

Yes the holy is starting to get out of hand. But we delved into the bush a bit further and came out with the goods. Interesting that in Minnie deans headstone has her down as Williamina McCulloch. Thankfully a previous post had a photo that helped with the find. Thanks for the placement.

On a three week trip to the lower South Island with tmann421 hunting caches.
Enjoyed the trip around and the challenge of the finds.

I write "WRITE NOTE" because it is a time when we can't go on a long adventure, so I travel in the memories of my visits to New Zeusemad. Of this adventure in New Zealand, I only stretch Travel Bug. Writing "FOUND IT" is probably not right anymore, it wasn't today, but I was here before. And unfortunately I won't get here again.

Today, StreetWalkerNZ and I are heading north to Winton, to find some caches in the big W. It was an extremely windy day, and after a wet and thundery start to the day, the rain held off which was a bonus.
The story of Minnie Dean was well known to me so interesting to visit her final resting place. My GPSr wouldn't settle here, so SW made the find. TFTC.

Thursday 5 November. Wintons wherigo is on the radar today also visited Foresthill. Time to go exploring Toby!

Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.
