I cannot see any information that suggests to me that steps have been taken to resolve the issue/s associated with this placement - one or more of the following applies:

- Cache Owner unable to maintain cache
- No response from the cache owner.
- No cache to find or log to sign.
- It has been more than 28 days since the last owner note.
- Cache has been abandoned by cache owner/cache in disrepair

As a result I am archiving this cache to keep from continually showing up in search lists and to also prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the next 28 days, just contact a reviewer (by email and include GC number in cache name) and, assuming it still meets the current guidelines, the reviewer will be happy to unarchive it.

If there are components or remnants of the cache and you haven't already done so, please return to the GZ and collect the cache (or remnants). We don't want to litter our environment with Geotrash.

Should you wish to replace the cache after 28 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

MAINTENANCE REQUIRED?
[navy]I notice from one or more recent log entries that this cache appears to be in need of owner intervention. Therefore, I am temporarily disabling it so as to stop it showing up on search lists and to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.

Prompt attention by cache owners to any log that indicates anything could be amiss will be greatly appreciated by all seekers. The guideline advises; "if you can't check/fix it straight away then Disable it till you can." see here http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#cachemaintenance and here's how; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 and check out this Blog: http://www.geocaching.com/blog/2015/03/you-hid-your-first-geocache-now-what/

Please respond to this situation by 8th November to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness. If you require more time, please be sure to post a "Write Note" log (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.

And don't forget, once you have addressed the issue, post both an "Owner Maintenance" log, see here; http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404 and an "Enable Listing" log, see here; https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 to get your cache up and running again.[/navy]

CO may be inactive as last logged cache by CO was in 05.2014. Quite a few DNFs over a long period and a maintenance note has had no response...

19-Sep-15
Looked in all the obvious places but if photo is anything to go by then it's definitely MIA.

10-Sep-15
Had a look nothing there

25-Aug-15
Clue makes sense but cache is nowhere to be found. Would suggest CO take a visit to confirm. Would love to come back and find the tin...

01-Mar-15
Log book required...and if the cache isn't going to be maintained then maybe it should be archived...

01-Mar-15
Continuing my stroll around St Kilda and Balaclava, I came to this cache next. After first looking in the wrong place...misinterpreting the Hint didn't help...I soon came up with the cache. although there is no log book inside, I did sign a business card that someone else had left.

Thanks DtobyB for the cache...and if you are still around, please put a new log book in it.

The cache itself is intact and in its correct location, but the log book has gone AWOL - needs a replacement.

Heading home from a gig at the Melbourne Folk Club I swung down by here for a quick look. This used to be my old neighbourhood for five or six years, so cache hunting makes a good excuse to come back and poke around. Wink

Right at GZ there was nothing likely to yield a result, so after a minute or so of half-hearted poking around I expanded my search area to about 10m out and immediately found the container in the first likely spot.

Unfortunately could not sign the log... as there wasn't one in there. The only thing in the container was an RMIT lapel button.

Visited a trackable anyway and put the container back in its hide. Will log a "needs maintenance" as well, for a new logbook.

Thanks for the search anyway, DtobyB.

Don't know if this is it, spent 30 mins trying to get it from inside there. Good luck to the next person

25-Jan-15
A very busy street this afternoon! The Chief looked where he thought was the obvious place and then expanded his search. Discovered the broom handle mentioned in a previous log but unfortunately didn’t locate the cache. Another day perhaps.

17-Jan-15
Could not find the tin!

27-Nov-14
Found at 21:35 with Aine and Shuk Ha after sinker at my brother's. This would be my first find in a couple of weeks, and the first in Victoria for a couple of years.
I picked where the cache would be before the GPS had a fix.
Thanks

We were surprised to see a local cacher from Geelong as the previous finder for this one! It goes to show the geocaching world is a connected one. Decided to leave the broom handle in its location and widened the search to locate the cache in a neat spot. TFTC

25-Oct-14
With star pearl. Scratched our head at first then clued it. Nice hide.

24-Oct-14
TFTC, very easy find when you look at the hint but found a good hides hole where it could've been!!

20-Oct-14
Completed with DrDnMe whilst on a holiday tour around the world.

20-Oct-14
Good hint here. Mind you, it was probably easier to use once you had got there rather than in anticipation.

06-Oct-14
During our holidays spent in Australia we took some walk across Balaclava where we stayed. We tried to find this cache two years ago but unfortunately it was lost. Today we were more lucky and found it in a second. Nice church. We love Melbourne and wish to stay there forever. Greetings from Czech Republic. TFTC!

Suscoe's 14th find on a delightful Spring day with beaut sunshine and a gentle breeze.
Walked to GZ and located the cache pretty quickly, we have a similar hide back home but thankfully it isn't as high.
Log signed and on our way.
The building certainly has had an interesting history.

Making the most of this beautiful autumn weather, I dedicated another day for riding the bike home from work. This cache was easy to find and retrieve but so hard to return. After signing the log it took at least another 15 minutes to put it back. It was just amazing to see how much foot traffic, car traffic, people returning home, people riding bikes along this street; there was. I almost took the cache home to return it during the early hours of the morning, when a quick break in the flow of Muggles enabled me to finally return it back to its home. Phew that was tricky. TFTC.

29-Mar-14
Parked almost next to the cache on a lovely sunny Saturday, but managed to walk down the street a bit before looking at the GPS. Once back on track the cache-clue made sense an I was able to spot the cache quickly. However, I had to wait a bit longer - since there were a few muggle-pedestrians about - before I could grab the cache.

29-Mar-14
So many muggles hanging around but finally got a break and located fairly quickly. TFTC

26-Mar-14
Little bike ride today, the weather is where you should take advantage. Caches were really nice and cycling is very easy to do as a result.
Thank you much cachers. I had a very good day

25-Mar-14
Tftc.. Dave and Mary-Beth with the assist

Out in the area with Quiet1 and Lochb. I walked straight past but Quiet1 had the cache before I had even started looking. Tahnks DtobyB

23-Mar-14
A quick drive-by, helped in part by a comment from lochb that immediately made the hint clear - I quickly grabbed the cache in passing (being conscious of some muggles nearby to join G' of GJMMelb where he was looking so we could record our visit away from GZ itself then quickly slipped it back again as we returned to the car. Smile

I had a few hours to kill between a meeting in the IBM Tower and a conference dinner at the Boatbuilders Yard, and decided to take a Metro train to St. Kilda and do some geocaching. I enjoyed exploring this part of Melbourne and finding a bunch of nice caches.

This cache was found at 13:43.

Thanks for the hide and greetings from Denmark!

I had plenty of time today so decided to do some puzzles and multis that required a bit of driving and/or walking around. It turned out to be a really nice day which is good because the weekend is going to be way too hot.
I was starting to make my way back home and noticed this one on the way and thought there is no way I'll get a parking spot but drove up the street anyway and parked 15m away!
Wandered around for 30 seconds or so, then read the hint and made the find nice and quickly.
Thanks DtobyB for the cache, the hunt and the fun.

26-Jan-14

Once I got over the building, the hint made sense...

Chewin was down from his country residence so we did a bit of urban caching - driving around very narrow streets and struggling to find parking.... You know the thing Smile
We weren't expecting this nice old building. I guess we figured a market would be a bigger area.
A quick find outside.
Thanks, Robmc.
