Unable to be stamped as log is very wet
Out and about this morning driving around to collect some BFE caches in bobvana, as well as collect a few trads along the way. Even met with the great man himself for a little bit.
Thanks for the cache

A quick find on a damp day as the log was exposed . Unfortunately the lid has come away from this cache resulting in a sodden log...so unable to sign, but I've attached an image. Might be worth the CO doing some repairs. TFTC.
Geokids enjoyed exploring this green area and climbing the old stone structure on the far side of the field... wonder what it used to be? The area seems to be a very popular area for the community which is always great to see people out enjoying the outdoors. Quickly identified the cache and attempted to remove it the wrong way, resulting in something amiss but was thankfully able to repair and retrieve cache in the correct manner. TFTC
Easy find. Camo has come off and cache was very difficult to extract... Probably needs some maintenance
Found where the cache is/should be, looks like part missing, only a screw is visible now. Maintenence required. Photo sent to CO. TFTC
Found once GPS settled down. The tree has grown around the cache making it impossible to extract the logbook without tools. Camo is no longer fastened to cache making it easy to spot.
Will need some maintenance to get it back to working order.
Thanks for the cache.

Found on a cold wintery day. Would have been a great hide originally. Now needs some TLC. TFTC
Found it. And lol, it's been taken over by beetles - sorry Cold Chisel you've been out muscled by beetles!. Heaps of black beetles have a home on top of and around the cache. Not a problem since they're only beetles. TFTC
What a pretty reserve! Thank you for bringing us here on a long weekend. Cool camouflage.
what a clever little cache and so appropriate in this setting without many natural spots. Local dogs provided a background chorus too. Not quite in tune though!
Thanks Darknstormy
Thanks Darknstormy
Cache #1707.
This morning I had an appointment in Modbury. After that, I tried some caches near by.
Parked my car on the end of the road, and walked to GZ. It did not take me too long to find the cache, and I like this kind of cache.
Opened the container, signed the log, placed the log back, and re-hid the cache.
Thank you for the cache, Darknstormy.

Our first BFE run for 2018. Six required to return S.A. Sewer Rats to BFE Nirvana. So I picked her up and we later caught up with Doctor Owl to find those ones and any others that popped up on our GPSr's as we travelled between them. A fun day with the usual laughs and frivolity.

Nice park for a hide! Previous cachers are correct - the tree seems to have claimed this cache! Signed the log but had trouble getting the lid back on so not sure if it's entirely waterproof any more. TFTC! #141
After the Christmas Pub event I spent the afternoon caching with hevwalker & earthlight, didn't find many but had a great afternoon with friends
The silver glistened in the hot sun, I reckon it might have taken awhile otherwise.

That cache is no longer budging from its hidey spot, the tree is swallowing it, luckily though you can still unscrew it and log the cache. TFTC
Wow! what a ripper of a hide So well created and hidden. ("East" was my Fave Cold Chisel album, btw)It was a reasonably quick find for me but having said that it still is getting a Fave Point for being just so damn Awesome! That wee glint of Silver did it for me too, or i'd probably be still looking lol. LOVE hides like these! SL at 13:30 with very yappy dogs nearby [:o] on Sunday, 23 April, 2017. The cache and contents are all good and dry [^] and, yes it is in there good and tight, extraction was successful with care TFTC Darknstormy
Wow this one took a few circumnavigations before we spotted a glint of silver, clever hide tight fit but with a bit of a wriggle and twist it was soon in hand, added a fav point TFTC Darknstormy
Spent 10 minutes looking when young one got restless. Will have to visit again!

Some quick maintenance on the cache was performed. As it was well and truely stuck in place and needed some tools for the removal. TFTC. 4/12/16, 6:23 pm Find #3415.
What a difficult one to get at! Had to use a tool to retrieve, but our names got in the log TFTC 4/12/2016 6:23 pm Find #1635
Found with Basketcache after a good 15-20 minutes of searching! GPS was bouncing around a bit but we settled on searching the area that made the most sense to us. TFTC!
We almost gave up but after a bit we discovered one of the best cammos I've seen. TFTC
Wow what amazing camo. Serious fav point coming for this one. Just be aware of swooping magpies. Scared the crap out of me a number of times but well worth the scare.
Great camo! GPS was sending me all over the place but found it in the end. TFTC
After a long time looking, finally found it. Great camo thanks for the hide
A brilliant cache and it absolutely deserves a favorite point. This was the last cache that I needed to find in my night of geocaching with my friends, 7seekers and it took us the longest to find. We thought we may have found the cache quite quickly but after a thorough check were assured it was not what we were looking for.
We found a large spider and a huge bug but there was no geocache to be found. After one final search at GZ, we eventually found this cleverly hidden cache. We were relieved and excited. After signing the log we eventually called it a night and returned home discussing how successful our night of geocaching had been. Tftc.

Out for some night geocaching with friend ask277, and decided to make this cache our last one for the night. Feeling confident, we made our way to GZ by torchlight and began the search ... after about 10-15 minutes of hunting, the barking dog nearby and the insects were starting to get on our nerves. We tried almost everything (including sitting on each others shoulders and searching higher up), and had ran out of ideas, when we finally discovered this very clever cache. All very impressed ... definitely worth the search ... giving this one a favourite point, so awesome!!! Tftc
WhiteKatt decided after a min or too to continue using her brute force method. I stood looking around GZ. Tried a few things and finally had an aha moment. Tried a different spot and called out to WK who swore at me never having seen such a great camo before.
Thank god for old logs !! Fun find after taking the niece out for some local Chinese !!!!
Silly me I forgot to log this cache from yesterday!
Nice quite morning, in the background you can hear a the council mowing the lawn, but I felt like I was being watched as I looked around I noticed a white dog looking at me!!
When I was at GZ it was a quick find. TFTC

Found with Plz No Senpai Chan Vio after someone walking past told us "at the bottom". Excellent camo. Tftc.
A couple of caches to find on a walk in the park with Sebastbat and Purrfect Di and Chloe the geopup.
Now after a couple of DNFs elsewhere, here's a nice easy cache in the second place I looked, after climbing back down out of the tree.....
Nicely done. Good natural camo

Finally found success here today after many unsuccessful and aborted attempts. Whilst I much prefer a cold winter's day, the weather did make this one easier to find. TFTC
Veni. Vidi. Vici. Scripsi. No longer standing on the outside. 2nd visit to this one as the last visit the GPS had me all over the place in the wrong locations. Today the satellites aligned and when I started heading for the area I was searching last time the gps took me in a different direction. Got to GZ and very quickly identified the cache. Very well camoed. Gratias pro cache.
The snake decided to stand on the outside.
while the Rat scurried inside to make the find. tftc

I too stood on the outside and let the Rat go in and found the sneaky hide .TFTC
great cache, was rather easy to spot as it was showing just enough to be seen. A few muggles around and a barking nosy dog. tftc
Easy find by GeoWife. Loved the cache and its camoflage. Must get a Favorite point.
On the way back to car we met the owner, DarknStormy so stopped for a chat and able to report all is well with the cache.

Nice darknstormy cache for a change. Loved the camo. Future finders, remember to return as found. Thanks for the hide. ☺
Humming along trying to find this cache, suddenly the cool camo was noted and cache was in hand. TFTC
Had to locate Cache for the day and yours was the lucky one. Walked around and around and looked up and down. Eventually found the tricky little fellow. Signed and put back in his spot cache in good condition. TFTC
A pretty ingenious hide that had us looking for a fair while as the difficulty suggested something much simpler Just as well we found the container when we did as the rain started to pour down as soon as we finished signing the log. Great effort Darknstormy, enjoyed this one! TNLNSL TFTC
Our first find for the morning after dropping off the Geomobile at Honda for a service and going for a stroll. Arrived at GZ and spotted the cool cache camo quickly. The Geomutt was actually pretty excited at GZ and we thought finally, he found a cache, but then he started to look up the tree all excited. We think a possum must have been going up and down that tree.

GPS no help as it kept jumping around; but found a really sneaky bit of work. Congrats on a good job. TFTC
An awesome cache, worthy of a favourite point! Wicked camo, blends in well ;c) TFTC!!
Another Ratbag not owning up to breaking my cache..

When we arrived at GZ, we noticed something a little out of place almost immediately. Investigation revealed a very good hide. However, extracting the container proved difficult because the surrounds had swollen in recent weather and pliers were needed. Once extracted the cache and contents were in good condition. We suggest that the CO check this excellent container as it is in danger of further damage due to difficultes of extracting the container. This hide earns a favourite from us. Thanks for the cache Darknstormy.
Unfortunately I could not find this one today. I think I was looking in the right area and expanded my search area too
With the littlest pirate otherwise engaged with school holiday activities, Mrs Pirate and Pirate Pete had some time off for caching. Loved this hide. We were lucky and managed to put our hand in the right spot almost immediately. TFTC Darknstormy and a fav point from us!
Tricky little hide this one, about to give up, thought we had been muggled, but no it was Bob from elsewhere, who then helped us to zoom in on this one.

Quick find out with Tardis Trio after attending a nearby event.
great series. can't wait to see the rest
Thank Darknstormy for the find.

Thank Darknstormy for the find.
After the nearby event, Mr Scoobster and Mr Tardis went on a quick caching run in the neighbouring suburbs.
Luckily for us the container wasn't quite seated correctly so we made a quick find. A great container. We put it back a little better so it blended in nicely.
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Darknstormy.

The sun was beginning to fall from the sky and the phone app was sending us to all corners of this park. We did not know that this oval was here and we have lived in this area for many years! There is an amazing amount of storm debris in the park after the huge rain storm a few days ago when this area had around 80mm in one day. It must have been a fantastic sight in full flow! We circumnavigated GZ for ages, but persistence eventually paid off and our name is now in the log book. Well done! Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.
Wow awesome camo! Luckily I had MBB with me to point me in the right direction because I was struggling with the impressive camo. TFTC darknstormy, a fave from me!
A very nice hide! I was actually surprised that I found it as quickly as I did seeing how I had the boys with me. TFTC Darknstormy. Inspirational. (Find 280)
They’re so hard (to find) !!
Caches, that is [:o]
So hard (to find) !!
And all that I ever know,
Of you,
Is the damage a DNF can do
And it breaks the other way, I know,
It’s so hard !! [:o]
But after one last lap of GZ,
Standing on the outside,
Looking in ...
... I saw the cache
Log book signed and I was back on the bike for one more play in the game

Found on the third visit. We though we would try this today as we were having a blackout so couldn't cook lunch and didn't want to open the fridge as we don't know how long it is going to be. Used my early Xmas present for the first time, a Garmin GPS. We knew what we were looking for from a previous log, but were looking too high last time and couldn't locate the right tree off google earth. thanx
