FJ staff member is unhappy that a geocache is located at the back of premises and wants it to be removed.
Too hard to find for us, despite searching for 20 minutes. Comments were not really helping. Maybe next time
Had a quick search for this cache but came up empty handed. Looked at the last logs and it seems that this may require some checking. Thanks for the hide and look forward to the smiley when I am next in Warrnambool.
Went with someone who has previously found this and it’s definitely not where it was and couldn’t find elsewhere
Thanks for another great cache Kia1 I've loved this ball all of my life and have fond memories of the stories my father used to tell me as a small child about what they did with the ball (all of which were highly unbelievable and silly because that's my dad's nature) thanks for bringing attention to this local treasure.
We are travelling to Adelaide via Warrnambool, Mt Gambier and Victor Harbour. We are staying in Warrnambool for a couple of nights and had some time to cache whilst other family went to visit friends. This was the first cache for the day and the GPS took a while to settle So we looked at the clue then soon located the cache.

walked straight to it and it was exactly where I thought it should be, hooray! The alien space ship water tower always cracks me up a bit, you can't say it's not different! TFTC
Interesting structure but nothing for me today. Used the clue but if that is the cache i can't see how. Stuck fast to the building.
Love the Warrny Ball. Such an eye sore on the horizon but life it's retro look. This place feels abandoned so no need for timing your visit outside of business hours. TFTC Kia1, a quick grab while waiting for an appointment in The Bool. Log and cache in great condition.
Lol, we came here last night for a look but couldn't find the cache, everything is so much easier in the daylight! Tftc
After doing the touristy thing at Flagstaff Hill we headed back this way for another try. Last night was too dark and we were pretty tired!! Lol. Tftc
We were wondering what the ball was for, now we know.
Found while doing the tourist thing around town.

CP & I decided to walk from the nearby market.
A quick find as no one was near gz.
An interesting structure, it would make a great lookout location!

Very quick find with clare007 on a wander around the area!!! Thanks for the hide!!
we found this one difficult also - looked there and didn't see it the first time -our cords were bit off also - same person looked again and found it the next time well concealed hide tftc
I'm staying down in Warrnambool for a brief visit and thought early in the morning I would find a couple of caches. I went for a walk up to this old factory wondering what it was. I didn't find the cache initially but then started to think like a cache. I had it soon after. Thanks for the find!
Found by PJ with assistance from Pete, Em, Craig, Michelle, Zoran and Isaiah. Nice little hide. TFTC.
Nice and easy to find had to get it early in the morning due to the work happing there at the moment
Looked for this one after watching the sun go down at Point Ritchie and found it right away
ROAD TRIP! - Day two After driving to Mount Gambier yesterday via the scenic Coorong route collecting caches that I haven't found, it was time for a forage across the border with mogni. [^] Our target was to make our way to Warrnambool and try and get the remainder of the puzzles and multi's we were yet to do, leaving just traditionals to collect another day. If not for two DNF's we would have succeeded too. [:o)]
I didn't realise this was off line when I did it. In any case it is there. The coordinates were a little out but once I used the hint I had no trouble locating the cache.
thanks Kia1 for the cache. It was still there 25/10 and you can probably remove the spanner.

As I am away for three months this may be offline for some time.
I will replace ASAP
Cheers.

No luck after hunting for 10mins. Didnt think it was going to be too hard. Oh well
Thanks for the interesting location....we learnt something new about the water tower!!
After an awesome day caching in Mount Eccles National Park with Jacko83, Simsfamily, Nevile Devil and myself we headed for home with a few stops on the way.
A detour for fuel and food and a couple of caches before continuing our journey. Searched around then spotted the hide.
Log signed and replaced as found.

Found with JaffaJ, CachingPikachu and Maggs2005 on a chilly morning. We are down from Brisbane and we're doing the Great Ocean Road. And this mean caching!! Assumed we were at GZ thanks to the hint as my phone was jumping all over the place (it thought I was streets away). JaffaJ spotted its hiding. Signed log and replaced as found. TFTC!!
Found with JaffaJ, CachingPikachu and TheGeoSnake during our Great Ocean Road adventure. Seemed yesterday like we brought the cyclonic weather with us from Brisbane. Out in the cold wind again today but worth it for a cache find. Seen by JaffaJ with help from the hint. TFTC
Here for the day to see my son as a groomsman so had to come out and grab a few. Brought my muggle mate with me and she is sort of curious to what I do with my time and what would happen.... she found it!!!! Tftc
On a work roadtrip down to Warrnambool and always time for a cache detour or two.
Took a bit of searching here before it clicked. Would be cool to climb the bell!
Cheers and thanks for placing this. Jacko83

After finding a couple of nearby caches after work, I couldn't pass up this one. I'd spotted the landmark on the way into town earlier in the day, and thought it looked like a prime candidate to have a cache nearby - and I wasn't disappointed. A nice simple find, and a great bit of history about the site too. Thanks for the cache Kia1
Found a huge mongrel of a spider. Tried to gutter stomp it and it ran into the brick wall. Was scared shitless, not a great experience.
It took a few looks to find this 1, its there but camouflaged, just keep looking, good 1 kia1.
Well this certainly dominates the immediate area. A nice bit of history involved with this structure as well. Luckily it was a quick find, as I could hear voices on the other side of the roller door. TFTC Kia1
In Warrnambool with hubby and the kids for a long weekend of camping. Hubby had a bit of a headache so the kids and I headed off this morning for a few quick caches. Naturally this "ball" dominates the skyline and according to my kids it's a golf ball for a giant! Ha ha. Thanks for the cache - a nice easy find
Found while spending a few days in Warrnambool with our daughter and her partner. TFTC
We wandered around here from the nearby gardens.. curious about the ball, and driven by the invisible allure of a nearby cache. Thanks for the explanation of the ball... it's a striking landmark. TFTC
Today I had a slow day, largely to avoid getting any more sun. (I have not been doing the sensible slip-slop-slap thing.) But by 6.00 p.m. I had not gone further from my tent than the camp kitchen. I suspected that, with so little physical activity today, I'd have trouble sleeping tonight. So I rugged up against the cool wind and threatening rain, and went for a walk. The best thing about caching in this weather, and on a public holiday, is that I could count on one hand the number of muggles I saw!
This was the fourth and final cache I found this evening. I enjoyed reading about the tank back at Fletcher Jones: fascinating! Thanks for the cache, Kia1

I am in Warrnambool, camping here with Geo-Sons for our annual 10-days-in-a-tent. A few years ago, they started rolling their eyes and saying, "Do we HAVE to go geocaching?" As we've walked around town over the past couple of days, I've kept saying, "I bet we are walking past geocaches" Well, I think I have got the perfect balance this year! They both have to work in Melbourne this weekend, so I have put them on the train, and now have three days to myself until they return on Monday afternoon! Geocaching - here I come!!!
