Heading to Tanunda to help out some friends and was early so decided to stop and make some finds. Parked close to this one and wandered around not finding anything. Circled a couple of times more and finally located the well hidden cache where I had looked once already but missed it. Extracted the log, signed and replaced as found.

After a series in Blanchetown, we headed this way and decided to do some of the Barossa Trail that we could do from the car. A great variety of hides and some of them had us guessing. Thanks for the cache
On the way to Adelaide we decided to find some of this series.
Great and creative caches all the way!

Day seventeen of our short South Australian trip with BettyBoo3747 and the geo-doggies.
With Sunday's crappy weather all finished, we set of on the deadly treadlies to complete some more of the Barossa Trail. We drove to Lyndoch, and then rode to the start of the trail then back to the Bakery at Lyndoch for lunch.
After lunch we did a few more back towards Rowland Flat, and then a few odd ones.
A nice collection of caches, and a great ride.
No time to visit the winery today, but we will try and get there tomorrow.
Thanks, Robmc.

#19367. Day 17 of our Vic/SA trip with Robmc the geodogs and our bicycles. After a miserable day weather-wise yesterday it was back to the bicycles today with the hope of making a big dent in the Barossa Trail caches. We parked at Lyndoch and rode towards Gawler - starting at #40 and gathering all that were available until we finished at #1. 2 1/2 hours to do that and another 1/2 hour to ride back for our lunch stop. After lunch we did a few more before returning to base at Tanunda. A great day's ride and so many interesting cache hides.
Continuing our ride after lunch and we stopped here. A nice hide. You have got me interested now and I wish we had called in to try some chocolate port.
Thanks DarknstormyImages

Who wants ‘cheap wine’ ?Second day in SA and out on trusty treadles aka my mtb to explore the trails and surroundings. Had no intention of doing so many but these quality caches piqued the curiosity and anticipation of another surprise or fun cache. Happy and relieved to record no DNF’s and on average most were located ‘relatively’ quickly. TFTC AND THE FUN and the effort to contribute to this fave game!
On the first day of our Barossa holiday we did a wine tour and we’re rewarded with some awesome finds and wines. When our tour lady noticed we were buying a lot of Roses (how do you get the little flick to appear above the letter e?), she took us to Kellermeister to try her favourite Rose.
So maybe it wasn’t the best but the place is known for the big dance floor Shiraz. tftc

How did I miss it last time, I must have been smoking too much dannerman and looking at the sun for too long.
Thanks darknstormy for the hide.
Thanks darknstormy for the hide.
Kellermeister was a popular choice when I worked in a drive through bottle-o in the eighties. I’ll try to make the effort to stop here some time on your say-so Darknstormy. Log a bit full; I’ve signed next to a 2015 entry. I often sport a three-day growth, but not today. TFTC
Log wet , but good job it's a steep climb and a sunny day
I was booked into some Barossa accomodation for the weekend as I had a ticket for the ‘rescheduled’ Red Hot Summer Tour @ Seppeltsfield but alas, due to COVID it was ‘rescheduled’ again, March 2022! Oh well, I guess I’ll just have to have a relaxing weekend doing some geocaching and any DNF’s, I’ll be back to try and get you before 2022!
TFTC - Keep smiling

Thanks Dark and Stormy for this hide. I have no idea why I missed this the last time. A fairly quick find this time, using a stick to uncover the goods, lots of spidy action here. Log signed and returned, log is wet due to the rubber seal missing. Nice location.
After the bike trails earlier we did some car caching with Csaba!, Malco, and SupaOrange. Turtle Out
In the area for some caching and bike riding. These ones we did by car. Tra La Laaa
Hmmm !! Last time I checked ...
... 5 Stars didn't equate to cheap
And outside the 5 Star location,
a cache was soon uncorked and savoured [^]

Today we headed north from where we are staying to look for caches along the Jack Bobridge Trail. Along the way we looked at some nearby caches. This was one of them.
This cache was a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Darknstormy for this cache.

Along the jack bobridge trail, we found this and decided to head up the hill to taste some of the local produce. Did you know they have the worlds best shiraz, although it was in 2012!
After parking the car at lyndoch and having some lunch at the bakery we headed off to complete #42 to #61 of the series, all the caches along the series were very well hidden and throughly enjoyed finding them all. Its a series that I would and will recommend to caches visiting from other places. Not your average trail and a lot of thought and energy has gone into these hides.
A late plan made on Thursday night when attending the Cache in trash out event. Todays plan was to complete some of the Jack Bobridge Trail with David wazz and Jess Wrigley, although the heat was touching on 40 degrees still a great day, with a wine tasting along the way and 2nd loop of D/T grid now complete.

Although it was a stinking 40°C hot day, we wanted to use some of it for some outdoors geocaching, and so jesswrigley, gridge98 and I made a plan to head north to Gawler and Lyndoch, and completed a section of the Jack Bobridge cycling trail, calling into a winery along our way. On the return back to Adelaide, we called past a strategic cache for gridge98 to complete his second D/T loop.
We rode the trail at Lyndoch from Cache #42 to Rowland Flat at Cache #58, stopping off at a winery halfway. This cache was along the well, and was well made. All appeared to be in good shape, thanks Darknstormy!

Found with Tramper Ted, we are here for the orienteering. A clever hide, thanks and greetings from New Zealand.
Staying in Williamstown for an orienteering event. Edvern and I decided to find some nearby caches. Dont think the wine is that cheap though! TFTC
Finally. This took a while. Climbing trees, going through the underbrush. A then leaning against, I was thinking where and there it was under my hand
We are nomads. Having left Perth WA in February 2014 we now live in our caravan and go wherever the will or caches take us.
Now camped in Tanunda. Today the GeoCruiser was booked into Toyota. So what does any Geoaddict do when they have no 4x4, come rain, wind and freezing temperatures? .... they jump on the GeoBike of course.
We used to have a stash of Kellermeister wines at our house. Found the cache today whilst completing the Jack Bobridge trail.
