Oh well, this cache has finally disappeared entirely from GZ. It was fun while it lasted.

It has had a very extensive history of tampering and it's the cache I've checked on, repaired and reattached by far the greatest number of times. More times than log entries suggest, in case a serial saboteur was getting a thrill out of 'disabled' logs. It was quite a prominent box so it drew attention to itself, but I nonetheless suspect a geocaching insider was responsible for at least some of the hijinks. Maybe it's in their possession right now. Maybe that's why we can't have nice things!

Thanks to shogun for devising the slightly bonkers cache, and to gruffpuppy for providing the inspiration all those years ago, before I even signed up! Sorry that this is no longer tenable.

Thanks also to Brengun1 and Rickard Family for crucial intel this week.

A fairly low risk cache in terms of SARS-CoV-2 transmission. I'll put it back online now.

28-Mar-20
SARS-CoV-2 is increasingly widespread in Victoria. Please behave as though you are a potential carrier and restrict your travel to essential activities at this time.

Great hide, grandson was rapped

09-Mar-20
Way before covid shut down caching activities, I found this cache. Then my brain went into cachelog shutdown. Finally getting around to catching up.
I remember nothing about this find except that I dropped a tb.

If you like adventure, this one is for you! Almost had to crawl to Narnia and back but this cache paid off !

29-Feb-20
All good. A lovely job of the cache. The access from the centre road to the north is easier bush bashing. Tough for the first 20 metres, then fairly clear...

23-Feb-20
#2238 Yet another place caching has brought us to that we didn't know existed. Enjoyed reading the history of the place and a pleasant walk in the bush ..... until the bush bashing bit. We had a split decision in our team of 2 as to whether we'd risk the obvious danger in the bush of "very large aggressive worms". The female of the team won the day and we ventured in. Fortunately we didn't see any bitey things - except if you include a baby possum in a nest at eye hight (see photo). Thanks shogun/BendSinister for bringing us to yet another interesting site - one of the major reasons we enjoy caching so much. Also, we appreciate the time, effort and thought that goes into making a cache different to the norm, so thanks again.

Definitely not EZ-AS! we went extreme bush bashing to find it, it was worth it though! Will enter through here next time! (Photo)

Drizzle at Big Foot turned to heavier drizzle here. Team Ozcat thanks CO and I thank my partner for showing me (Mr Stupid) the fine art of opening a bird box.

18-Feb-20
You know, when I found my partner Ozreg, And we forged "Team OZCAT", I thought, gee your a lucky girl Catnap, you found an engineer and he will help you nut out all the difficult to get to caches, so on, and etcetera. One could not have been so wrong; after mucking around with that lid for 5 minutes, cursing and remarking that there must be more of a trick to it, then finally giving up on it as the rain was tumbling down. I get up there, grab hold of the lid, and off it came! No trick, no fault in the mechanism of it at all. Something tells me, with most of the decisions I tend to make in my life, (I blame Aspergers Syndrome for this) I have made a bloody mistake again. LOL

We made it to the trailhead and geomissus insisted there was no way on earth she was heading in. So I did the deed, through long grass and all. Fantastic location shogun. And a well constructed hide. I'm glad we stopped here on the way back home!

Was starting to feel grumpy-as - due to only having found one of three caches in the space of two hours - when the CO asked if I'd check on this cache since I was in the 'hood. Once I found my way to GZ I spotted the cool hide - and it cheered me up, just what I needed!
Thanks shogun-/BendSinister : )

I have cleared this reserve once before and a couple of extras popped in a while back. Today was the day to clean up the extras. It was a bit scary by myself and being geographically challenged, I did wonder if I would find the right way out again.....but it was all worth it, and I didn't get lost in the bush. Fav point from me. TFTC

Out for a cache day on my bike with Crank1 in Frankston area. Beautiful day. Thanks BendSinister for bringing us here and the cute cache Smile

28-Jul-18
Found with Legoman9x. The phone gps led us to a fair few metres away but the cache structure gave it away and we knew it would be there upon seeing it. Nice hide, tftc

28-Jul-18
Found with Winniethebear. Out in the area, we decided to grab some highly favourited caches within driving distance. It was odd, seeing such a straight path through a park and not seeing another person in sight, although it was nearing sunset. It was great to have an entrance point marked. Smile The GPS pointed us into an odd area, but once it settled, we found the nicely built cache. So cute. TFTC.

Find #3455. Found @ 14:26

I've been putting in a lot of extra hours at work to try and ensure my international project gets through to completion, but with extra hours comes the mythical 'time in lieu". I decided to make the myth and reality and take the day off. Rather than bumble around the house, I decided to take a walk in the park.

This was the eighth in my plotted route around the reserve. I managed to almost drag myself through the access point, but my backpack had other ideas about that. I had to crouch very low to get through, and whilst doing so, I found a plastic ring on the ground. Great, some extra swag to add to the cache.

I spotted the hide on arrival at GZ, but wasn't prepared for the magnificence, although seeing that it was made by shogun, I shouldn't be surprised. I dropped the ring into the cache. I also spotted that there was a trackable, so took that and left one that I grabbed last weekend.

Took trackable, left trackable, signed log and visited some other trackables.
Thanks for the cache BendSinister, a favourite point from me.

In the area for the concert at the racecourse and got up early to find a couple before it starts.
The weather is a lot cooler today so it was a nice walk around here.
I did not know about the military camp so it was an interesting read as I wandered along the trails.
Got to GZ and spotted the hide and now what to do, so after looking at a couple of things I soon had the cache open and log retrieved.
A great little puppy staring out at you.
A favorite goes out to for the whole experience and for showing me the area.
Thanks shogun for the placement and BendSinister for taking it over TFTC
