One of the last ones today, we weren't sure about this one.
After 20 minutes of searching, we gave up empty handed

05-Oct-15
We had an awesome day at Kiama, this was one of the last ones on this list today.

There has been a string of DNFs since Feb/2015.
A few suggesting cache was either washed away or mown down.

I am placing a Needs Archived log on here because there is an outstanding Needs Maintenance log explaining the log is completely soaked and log is unusable, followed by the succession of DNFs and CO hasn't been active in around 11 months. In the hope that the cache will be in the reviewers hands to decide on.

TFTC regardless.

26-Jul-15
Had a quick look. Nothing there

06-Jun-15
I think this one has washed away! Pretty dirty spot. Not recommend when taking kids!

23-May-15
Oh bugger! I must have walked right over the top of this one but by this point in time was jogging parts of the track to reach my destination before sunset.
After parking the motorhome bus in Gerringong I caught the train to Minnamurra for the 22km Kiama Coast track walk with the intention of picking up some caches along the way. Unfortunately caching really slows you down and by early afternoon I had to abandon the caching and hotfoot it along the track. Word on the street was that Werri Lagoon was open to the sea. Dire warnings from the lady in the Kiama Information Centre (" you shall not pass!!!" or words to that affect) had me worried about whether I could get back to my vehicle. Some intrepid travellers moving in the opposite direction said it was passable if I didn't mind wading across. I didn't, but also didn't want to be doing so in the dark. With sunset due about 5pm I had a time limit I had to meet. On arriving at Werri Lagoon I was bemused and a bit frustrated by the info centre lady's admonition that it was impassable and waded the 3-4m of thigh deep water to the other side. She obviously has no sense of adventure.

26-Apr-15
Heavy, heavy rain the night before, spent very little time looking as there's every chance it had been washed away.

17-Apr-15
From previous logs I imagine that this one has been lost. I endeavour to return with an updated treasure!

16-Mar-15
Could not find after heavy rain lots of grass removal

08-Feb-15
As mentioned in our found it log.... Holey snaplock bag is struggling to keep log dry. Completely drenched. Needs new airtight snaplock bag & new log.

07-Feb-15

06-Feb-15

Wow beautiful view - amazing to see miles away... Finally found the cache. Thanks GroundparrotTrackers

06-Jan-15
Awesome view! Quick find. A plastic bag with holes may not be best water proofing. Log was wet

15-Dec-14
I actually do remember finding this one after coming back to the spot.

TFTC Another lovely spot on the south coast

21-Nov-14
Nice walk along the cliffs from the beach. Find took me longer than it should have. Cache has seen better days TFTC.

15-Nov-14
Just like everyone else we found the cache waterlogged with no log sheet. So we found a new plastic bag in our backpack and added a clean sheet of paper for logs. Tried to repair cracked cache container, however only had fluoro bandages for the job. Hardly camo stuff. Anyway hope this holds.

12-Nov-14
No log book but managed to it. Great views! Our first geocache Wink
My son is hooked.

04-Nov-14
Found it, although the hint confuses more than helps. Soaked with water and needs maintenance.

Beautiful views.

12-Oct-14
Claiming a find on this one. even though it was impossible to sign the soaked log, see attached photo. We all had a case of the little green-eyed monster as we walked passed some of these houses. How lucky are the people who live here? Great spot. TFTC.

16-Sep-14
I found this log on my gps not yet published, sorry for being so late! We took 2 days and walked along the coat from Minnamurra to Gerringong, great spot and it was fun to find a few caches along the way. Although this was a DNF for us as we spent a long time searching where the hint suggested with no luck. I now see why

11-Jun-14
An amazing day for this great coast walk. The track was a little slippery after the last few days of rain. The cache was located thanks to zedzap's hint. SL TFTC

17-May-14
DNF at 10:56 AM. Well that's not a very good start to the day at all- 2 DNF's in a row Sad We loved the walk down to GZ, but then we were disappointed to learn that we didn't have to get wet knees trying to find the cache - as the hint suggested that we should look under the little bridge Twisted. According to other logs, we had to search a few metres up from the bridge in the grass and look for a brick. We couldn't find anything at all in the thick grass.

01-May-14
The hint wasn't any help, I got muddy for nothing. I eventually found the cache a little to the north of the said structure.

25-Apr-14
Didn't have the opportunity to search for this for long, the neighbours were watching us from their deck. Will come and try again another day.

03-Mar-14
A quick find. TFTC

22-Feb-14
That’s one more find for me! Thanks so much for hiding this geocache.

22-Feb-14
Took us a while but we got it

08-Feb-14
Slightly misleading clue, but TFTC!

08-Feb-14
Second time back, found quickly after help from zuidy92. TFTC.

31-Jan-14
Completed the walk a while ago but past the cache.
Returned to make the find on a beautiful day.
A little damp but good to tick the box.
Left a star to shine

28-Jan-14
GeoWife1 and I spent four very peaceful days in Kiama, staying at the West Beach Holiday Park and of course did a little caching along the way.

Made our way down the track to the crossing. Cache located but log sheet very wet, replaced with new log sheet.

Thanks! B&D

30-Dec-13
A quick visit to catch up with some friends visiting the area. Picked up on the way.

26-Dec-13
While staying nearby we spotted a fellow cacher looking for this one. We knew that the log was too wet to write on so we went down to say hello. Very nice meet you. We added a couple of sheets of notepaper as a log and a plastic bag to hopefully keep it dry.

TFTC

Cache was wet but I met the really nice caretaker FootyFanatics Smile Nice to meet you and talk to you.

30-Nov-13
I parked the car at the top and walked down to GZ. Lots of other walkers in the far distance. The log book was dripping wet. and I could only edge my signature into the paper. Sad TFTC

29-Nov-13
Wow! What a spectacular view! I admit I envy the people that own the houses close to this cache. Log book is all soaked, so like my predecessors I tried to write on the plastic. Unfortunately I didn't have any paper on me. Thanks a lot for the cache and cheers from Lüneburg, Germany!

29-Nov-13
Found on our trip from Adelaide to Sydney. Was difficult to log, because the cache was through and throug wed.

17-Nov-13
Another great find while touring around from cache to cache.

Unfortunately quite a wet day but found some good caches between showers.
Log wet through.

13-Jul-13
Found it but it needs to be fixed. It was wet!

13-Jul-13
Found but can't sign. Was very wet and needs replacing.

12-Jul-13
Inside is damp and the logbook illegible with all entries erased. Needs to be dried out and a new log placed. Sorry but I didn't have a cache repair kit with me.

12-Jul-13
A later afternoon cache for me. Getting to GZ proximity was easy, but prior to leaving I checked the internet for "trolls" (the mythological ones, not those you find on forums!). But my GPSr suggested GZ was 3m away from where I was. Nor could I get it to settle at 0m, I was getting 3m either way. As it was rapidly darkening I thought it was another DNF and turned the GPSr off ready to go back to the car. Then I thought well a 1.5 rated cache shouldn't be THAT hard... then I spotted a likely cache location and there it was. Like other logs have commented, it was damp inside. I emptied the container of moisture, but other written logs have now gone altogether, erased by the moisture. So I didn't get to sign either. But at least it was a find. Thanks for the hide. Maintenance log written.

03-Jul-13
Hmmm not exactly sure where this one is and we had parked near a residential area. And after reading the last few logs we decided not to even try for this one.

06-Jun-13
Quite a bit of searching for this one. Luckily my torch did not raise any suspicions with nearby residents.

Cheers

31-May-13
A quick find while checking out some vantage points on the Kiama to Gerringong trek.
Unfortunately the log was soaked and I was only able to make a smudge to mark my arrival.
Thanks

04-May-13
This was a little more of a challenge than I was expecting. First, tried to approach GZ from directly above but had to have a re-think with the GeoKiddies in tow. Soon found the right parking spot, made the short trek in the now almost gale-force winds to GZ and began searching as per the hint. Spent quite a bit of time inspecting it in great detail and had pretty much given up when something nearby caught my eye and there was the container. Log sheet unusably damp so took photo if needed. Stunning views here and the wind was really whipping the sea up. TFTC!

01-May-13
Found at 10am on a pleasant walk.
No log book just a wet plastic covered piece of paper which was impossible to write on.
Such a nice spot for a cache so would be good if it was properly maintained.
But thanks for bringing us to this lovely spot.

21-Apr-13
As we were staying with family at probably the closest house to this cache we had to find this one. We did find it but there was no log inside just a laminated sheet which was unreadable. Maybe a different type of container is needed here. I do agree that the view is great which is why our rellies built here. We're claiming a find and will sign the log when one is available. TFTC

18-Apr-13
I found what I expect is the cache but it was completely waterlogged. I have taken a photo of the cache which I can send to the CO to confirm the find. It has rained every evening for the past few days and everywhere is damp. This one needs to be checked on.

The scenery here is beautiful.

Thanks for bringing me to this spot GroundParrotTrackers.

17-Apr-13
This was a little tricky. The cache was waterlogged and really wet.

19-Mar-13
# 5648 Found on our VIC and NSW east coast adventure on a short trip near our camp in Kiama.
Nice and quiet and no muggles around while I was here.
I didn't find it where the clue said, but it was close by, and safe and dry in this new place.
Thanks for the cache GroundparrotTrackers,
Roostaman.

16-Feb-13
I initially had problems with this one, unitl I realised I had different coordinates to those listed, something which a phone-a-friend helped me realise. I then had the right GZ as well as a big hint, but still came up empty handed until I did a little digging; I soon had the cache in hand, but was only just able to sign the very wet log. Also had to dodge a young lad on a minibike tearing along the walking track and across the bridge - the only muggle encounter on this cache. Thanks for the cache GroundparrotTrackers.

29-Jan-13
With the huge seas today, I did a quick run up the coast to check out the Little Blowhole - it was spectacular!!! This was supposed to be an easy cache, but like everyone else I made it much more difficult than needed. Published co-ords are accurate, log in cache is quite damp, so difficult to write on. I managed to sign as RH, but paper needs replacing.

TFTC GroundparrotTrackers - nice spot!

21-Jan-13
Found it, but I've to come back to sign the log book, forgot the pen.Nice walk.TFTC

12-Jan-13
Found while on Holidays in the area. Thanks

02-Jan-13
Teamed up with Krafty Charlie for a day of caching down South.

What a great walk we had and cant wait to do the others further south on the walking track.

We arrived at GZ and luck there were no trolls as Mr KC soon had this one found.

The hint AND co ords were spot on Wink
TFTC

02-Jan-13
Once we worked out the best approach to this one, we took off for a pleasant afternoon walk. We did not have time to continue on the rest of the walk and will have to leave that for another day...TFTC

23-Dec-12
A sneaky cache that was very rewarding to find! The walk we took to find it brought some spectacular ocean views, and we would gladly walk it again. TFTC!

20-Dec-12
Wanting to clear out my 30km radius before heading away on holidays I headed down here for an early morning find. These nearby houses certainly have some spectacular views but I wonderwhether is worth the harsh environment their houses are exposed to.

I must say I over complicated this cache and spent way too long looking in the wrong spots before I stumbled upon the cache.
Thanks

14-Dec-12
Had some time today so decided to continue to try and clear the under 30km from home radius out. A short walk from my parking spot had me at the cache- a super easy find- I thought the co-ords seemed pretty right to me. Some nice views of the coast. TFTC!

13-Dec-12
So close to home, it was just a 15 minute run from home and bakc including logging! Great location, as is the hole walk! The clue didn't make much sence to me, neither did the coords. more then 20 m of makes me suspect it was put there with a mobile phone? nevertheless, great container and good spot, there is still more room on side of the walk!
TFTC Wilbert67

PS my coords S 34 41.775 E 150 51.292 will get you spot on.

12-Dec-12
It's great to see another geocache so close to home. The views from GZ are simply stunning! Thanks GroundparrotTrackers for the hide.

09-Dec-12
YAY. *FTF* we were lucky to be headed this way from Shellharbour and arrived to an empty log book, yepee. TFTC

09-Dec-12
Dove into this one a bit deeper than necessary. Came away muddy and wet. That will teach me not to take so much notice of the hint..SL..TFTC
