No joy here today. Looked under, in, up, over, through and even took into account it maybe tricky and that the co-ords were spot on but walked away disappointed. Another day.
Our third visit here.. clearly were focusing way too hard on the nearby structure.. a few Muggles going so slowly along the path asked enquired as to our activities.. explained ourselves to these now underwhelmed people.. and continued the search.. TFTC. TNLNSL
I really liked this cache - nice tricky hide and a few of them around but my first instincts were correct. TFTC
Took ages to find, even though I should've found it in the first 10 seconds! Face palm to the max
Smashed through the Eastern and Northern sides of Lake Illawarra today.
Didn't check this one was a Suburbs cache rather than a LIPT cache...
... Otherwise I would have left the car running,
2 minutes in and out!!
Thanks for this one!

Came down from Newcastle this morning ahead of the 10K Milestone event for The Rats this weekend, and today I had the chance to do a few Illawarra caches. As day turned into night, I continued making my way around the LIPT series...and stopped to grab this one as well. Good coords soon had the cache found.
Gratias Hoojar.

Good on you Hoojar, thinking of my poor old man legs and placing your cache near the access. Found with the Newberys on a great day out caching. TFTC TNLN SL
I liked this one, not sure why but after a hard days caching around the lake a nice clean cache near the path really hit the spot. It was good that the WEEO made the find too so he did the bending! TFTC
What better thing to do on a wet afternoon but some caching. A nice one to get. Loved looking around the area. Thanks to Hoojar
Diving and Events at South Coast Feb 2014. After a great time at the even, ZZ7, Sol de Lune and I headed off to try for as many of the LIPT caches as time would allow. Two DNFs but plenty of finds, and many more to do on other trips. A few bonus caches along the way as well. Thanks.

Grabbed this one with SDL and Albida33. Love this series and it's Wollongong counterpart.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache and the series.

After walking down from the locked gate between a couple of caches, we headed towards this one first, and after out waiting a passing muggle family, the cache was found in a couple of minutes. Log signed and we were back towards the next one.
Thanks for this one hoojar......

Our 8172nd overall find.
Found with FarmerFrentzen on our Christmas break caching trip. This one took us quite a while to track down. After not having much luck we tried some of the old logs and that only sent us further afield. FF made the find in the ned just as we were about to give up.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

Found during a run down to Wollongong with Big Matt and Shell.
It had been a little while since we had cached Wollongong and with the publishing of the LIPT we decided it was time to make another trip down south. The weather was near perfect and a very enjoyable day was had making our way around Lake Illawarra and surrounding areas.
This one had us struggling with an accurate GZ but after a short search the cache was in hand.
Thanks Hoojar for the cache.

Whilst visiting friends in the are I took my muggle friends on a wee caching adventure. Number two find for us today and the second find for Mr Muggle! He seems quite good at this caching business
Co ords seemed a little bit out for me today but still found relatively quickly left 2 TB's to continue on their way

Found with mudpig92, was a quick and easy find and I nice view of the lake at night
Oh, those rocks, not those rocks....A simple hide made difficult by a bumbling cacher, me! Thanks.
A beautiful day around the lake this morning. Decided to grab a couple of caches on way to work.
A couple of minutes of pondering and then cache in hand. TNLN, SL. TFTC Hoojar

Sometimes we get a surprise when we look at our Field Notes in the Garmin and this is one of them! A belated log for a cache-find we made a couple of months ago.
Definitely the safest spot, had to find the loose one and then we got it easy, thanks for the hide
Oh those rocks...
Cache for the night to gather the souvenir. Not long to go now :0

Another find after dark. Time has been very scarce this week so logging has been slow. Of all the places to hide this cache, I would say that it is in the safest possible place in this area. Well hid!!. Night time views across the lake were very pleasant, no wind, no rain and no clouds. Well worth the stop off. It is good to stand in places like this and take in not only the lake views, but listen to the houses, or should I say the people in them, their music, their talk, it all made the short stop worth it. TFTC
GeoKids were looking under everything, when GeoDad said what about there. They looked there but dismissed where I had suggested. I walked over and said what is this, with CIH.

Found on our Wollongong caching holiday. A quick walk down from the streets down to the ants' territory. As we were trying to find the cache, ants were covered on our legs and pants, which was quite annoying. Luckily the cache was found reasonably quickly despite inaccurate co-ords. Nice hide in a nice area. TNLNSL. TFTC Hoojar!

If you want to make this more difficult try looking for it with Vodafone reception lol. We got there in the end
On a cycle with Pipes_Down_Under. Cache quickly found on a sunny day by the lake. TFTC
Out for a cycle with friends (Kembla) from Berkeley to Darcy Dunster reserve and back and grabbed a couple of caches on the return trip.
Luckily there were only a few muggles going past and it was a quick grab and sign.
Great day for a ride and cache.
Thanks for the series Hoojar, I have a few of yours now.

TFTC - great spot with great views across the lake. Even saw the Catalina fly as well as the Stearman doing aerobatics.
Last one for the day, as the sun was sinking low. Beautiful light over the lake, took some arty photos of a moored boat and the ducks etc. Took a little while to narrow down the right spot but made the find in the end then headed for home with yawning geokiddies. TFTC!
Got to GZ and had to try amd look inconspicuous as a passerby slowly ambled up the track then hung about so I started walking off and saw him look at his phone. Still none the wiser I waited a short distance away and then saw him walk to a seat and sit down so bugger it I went in for a look and he waved to me and held up the log he was signing.
Who would have thought on a mid Thursday arvo at this spot.
We exchanged pleasantries and after a quick chat about caching we went our merry ways.
