After settling into our digs at the nearby caravan park, we needed to unwind after driving for most of the day. A nice little walk to this cache. TFTC
A quick find was made here once we found the little service road. A nice connection with the cache title. TFTC
We are enjoying the beautiful buildings and scenery while staying in Beechworth with family.
Finding access in the dark was the hardest thing with this cache. No Christmas Crackers, but still we found a smile Thank you

Very good and only thing you could go with those tit bits after their quick moments use.

Completed previously as BlackOpal2005. My daughter I thought it was time to create our own accounts.
Walked in along the track and back along the road to find this one next to the other caravan park where we didn't stay in the end. Thanks.
Day off today and being such a beautiful day made the easy decision to go caching with the family. Decided to head to Stanley for the day as I have a few solved puzzles.
Quick park and grab, looks like a nice holiday park. Tftc !

In the company of an unstoppable bushfire and the white beast, a very busy time was had In Beechworth. This was found along the way. Since it’s nearly Christmas why not collect a Christmas cache too.
Thanks for this one daunts, melberma s and Caddy07

My good friend 6Hinemoa2 and the ageing Bushfire decided to head up to this old gold mining area for a few days to mainly concentrate on the Randolph the Rat series but grabbing LAB’s and anything else that happened to be nearby. We had both only found one of these guys before and that was #14 Randolph the Rat at Winton Raceway, as it was near the Hume Hwy and also a fair distance from the other 14 caches.
Now if you’re thinking about doing the same thing you must allow a lot of time as so many have multiple WPT’s that can chew up your available time.
Some are easy hides and some are very difficult that will also take up time, but a great time was had as we slowly ticked these guys off our list of caches to find.
We were successful with all bar one, but with new knowledge it will be added to the list on our next trip.
IT SEEMS LIKE ONLY YESTERDAY IT WAS 2012 BUT I GUESS A LOT HAS HAPPENED IN THE LAST TEN YEARS.
Thanks guys for placing.

Almost 9 christmas's have passed since this one was laid but it is in good order despite all that has befallen the world in this time.
Many thanks

Christmas Crackers alright. Went to go up this road one way then thought no. So we went up the other side and came down past the cache and got it that way. Took a swap and left a few more. TFTC. SL. Cheers. Happy Christmas 2021.
Found while out on a walk without gps. Stopped to check things out and stumbled across this cache. Didn’t have a pen so will sign log tomorrow. TFTC.
Fun, adventure, travel, history, geology, mental stimulation, social gatherings, support and friendship are just some of the elements of geocaching.
Out and about enjoying the opportunity to grab a few caches, yours being one of those I targeted on my journey today. Thanks ??
Thanks daunts (F=693 H=26) for placing this cache and adding to our game.

What a day - puzzles solved in preparation for the adventure, trads which showed us some amazing scenery or a peep into local history, plus multis quickly solved on site!
So much fun and laughter, as we made our way from Wang through Stanley, Beechworth, Yackandandah and return together with, Alansee, McLookers, Micaparamedic & Team Crackers. For economy of logspace we signed in with the acronym CAMMMP.
North Eastern Victoria is quickly becoming the Geocachers playground
Oops -- no caches in playgrounds!
Our thanks to daunts for placing such interesting caches on the gameboard.

As our planned South Aussie trip was knocked on the head because of Co-vid 19 restrictions we decided on an alternate plan and decided to come to Wangaratta to pick up a few caches before the mega. We joined forces with alansee, maccamob,McLookers, micaparamedic and Phetlern for a day full of laughter, caches and fantastic scenery.
This one was next on the list and as we were heading here we started to cop a bit of good humored flack from the other teams which had us a little confused for a while until we opened the GPS and saw the cache name. Possibly because our team name i Crackers or the fact that I resemble Santa Claus but we were the brunt of quite a few poor Xmas jokes but id did make the time go quickly and we were soon arriving at gz where the cache had already been found by one of the fast teams so all that was left to do was to add our acronym to the log.
To save room in the smaller logs we used the acronym CAMMMP being a combinations of our team names.
Thanks daunts,Melbermans and Caddy for the cache.

Found by Mary and David, in company with TeamCrackers, Alansee, McLookers, micaparamedic and phetlern (signing as CAMMMP), at 11:25. Plenty of steps on offer for us today, with our convoy planning a loop from our Wangaratta base through Stanley, Beechworth and Yackandanda. Our group is variously from Bendigo, Ballarat, Geelong and (non-COVID) Melbourne suburbs. Merry Christmas everyone! Our thanks to daunts.
Good idea. Found quickly today.
We signed the log book as CAMMMP - Team Crackers, Alansee, Maccamob, micaparamedic, McLookers, Phetlern.

School holiday time at Christmas – hooray. A week in Beechworth in the caravan (3 times already to Beechworth) with our daughter. Sunny all week, window shopping, visiting historic sights, walking in the bush, supporting local businesses, & geocaching of course. Found by AK & JK, and Minks and Poppy (the geo-dogs) after strolling over from the caravan park.
First one for the year (find # 980). Thank god 2020 is over.
The 14 days of 2020 Christmas (by Scott Williams) :
On the 14th day of Christmas Dan Andrews gave to us:
14 days of quarantine
13 rolls of toilet paper
12 quarantines
11 weeks of lock down
10 people gathering
9 Karen's raging
8 border crossings
7 protesters coping fines
6 covid idiots
5 guests at home
4 reasons for leaving
3 bottles of sanitiser
2 boxes of tissues
And a bloody great swab up the nose.
Merry Christmas one and all.

Once we worked out where we were on our map, the cache was quickly found. Thanks for placing this for us to find.
Day two of our Beechworth camping road trip.
Quick easy find once we eventually worked out where we were.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, daunts

GPS sent us up the wrong site of the road! After reading some logs we went back to the car
Nice easy find here today with Mayday Escape Rooms, their GeoDogs and our GeoKids. TFTC
Decided to get out of town today for a bit, So many devastating bushfires happening near us at the moment. Thankfully none this way at this point in time.
Just dropped in to pick some berries and grabbed this one on the way back. Found the container well out in the open, signed and replaced where I imagine it should have been. Container was a bit damp but log was dry.
Thanks for the cache.

So close. So very very close. [:o]
I need a cache placed on Christmas Day for a challenge cache I am working on.
Oh well, TFTC anyway.
It may not be adorned in favourite points but it sure has stood the test of time. [^]

We (Dalerious and ourselves) were over in Beechworth today with the intention of picking up as many caches as possible along the MMRT to Everton. That changed about 30 min into the ride when the rain and wind started.
We changed tack and decided to pick up as many drive by's as possible instead.
This was literally a drive by - from the car someone said 'there it is'.

We were staying at Beechworth Holiday Park, so this cache is "the shortest distance from the front door"cache on our list of finds. TFTC
Catnap777 & OZREG formed a team on 10 May 2020.
Logging FOUND Caches as individuals on approximately same dates since 07 July 2019, this

Boy l really don't know how Ozreg and I missed this the first time. But then, we are talking about Ozreg here!
If you like to read BS, read Catnaps log. Seriously, having a great time out today with Catnap in the Stanley area and in great weather. Catnap can and does take the piss outa me, there lies the fun and her sense of humour I love. Tyfc CO.
Have spied this number for sometime and today was the perfect opportunity enroute to Stanley. TFTC
Only a few caching days left to us now before leave the valley (yes, we really are leaving - eventually) Decided that a day around the outskirts of Beechworth would be in order, plus one or two on the way.
We saw it from the car, unfortunately, we had no Xmas trinkets left in our SWAG. Thanks for the hide.

Found with the geofamily today. As we are camping across the road we figured we ought to find this one! Many thanks for the cache.
#1511 Day 2 of the Great Vic Bike Ride 2018. This year is Bright to Benalla. Today's leg is Bright to Beechworth (67km). A brief detour off the bitumen and a quick cache to find. TNLNSL. TFTC daunts, melbermans and Caddy07.
I originally found this cache with my Mum heymissjo, but now that I have my own account, I am logging. Thanks for the cache.
For the past few years I have cached as part of "team heymissjo", but now I am old enough to have my own account so logging the find. Thanks for the cache.
I love a quick driveby cache especially after trampling through the bush for a dnf..Cache found and log signed..
Great spot just across from the nice caravan park we were staying at. Not Xmas cracker trinkets but added a little something
Found it! Our last day in Beechworth and as we had to check out by 10am we made a slightly earlier start than the past 2 days. This cache was just across the road from where we had stayed, so with no bike rides or gorge crawls calling today we decided to grab it first. A nice easy find although all of the xmas swag appears to have found new homes...TFTC...
On the way to Stanley, and overshot this cache. Had to U-turn and go back. Handy little side track to park, and nice hide. Thanks for the chance to explore "the way the locals go"!
