No phone coverage to check what a manuka bush looks like. Looked in the direction of the cache but couldnt find anything. Dissapointed.
Our last day in Invercargill today and the weather gods were shining on us today. Beautiful day for some sight seeing.TFTC
Our holiday is coming to an end and we're mopping up strays on a beautiful autumn day. Thank you for this cache.
It's coming to the end of our Southland sojourn with a few selected caches still to be found. Out and about today finding some of the closer ones.

Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I now live full-time in our caravan & travel the country visiting places we want to visit … we are currently parked up at the NZMCA Park in Invercargill …we decided to drive out to Sandy Point & go for a wander & grab some parts to an Ad Lab based out here & to grab a few caches as well … this cache was easily found … log completed & then replaced … pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally … TFTC ... TN:LN:SL ... #3,814 for us.
We forgot to screenshot the description or hint before we went so had no idea what we were looking for. Not the greatest area for mobile caching! Will return soon
Time for a little lunch time walk to make the most of the nicest part of the day. TFTC!!

Doh! Using my phone. Should have umade a list. Run out of coverage. Running blind with location. Made it to the rough area. Liked at likely targets, finally Greg found it. Knew I brought him for a reason. Cheers
Doh. Using phone, didn't download a list. No coverage. Newbie mistake. Guessing likely location. Guessed right. Found by eagle eyed Greg. Knew I brought him sling for a reason. Cheers!

Friday 30 October. Its exploring Sandy Point again today.
Toby, Zara and I are on a 3 week geo adventure of Cromwell, Southland, Catlins, Balclutha with a day in Dunedin and quick stop in Timaru. With Lenny, my trusty navigator and TBD my companion/mascot. we managed to visit lots of green boxes, now happy faces with the odd sad one. Did some LABs , earth caches, virtuals and wherigos, all chucked into the mix to rack up 500 odd caches. Lots of kilometers, lots of exploring and lots of fun. Thanks to all COs for our wonderful experience.

TFTC! There were a couple tissues in the cache which were very helpful since one of us had fallen over on the bridge and had blood dripping down our leg so thank you to whoever put them in there
Decided that with overseas trips on hold to spread out my annual leave and take a long weekend away from Dunedin. It was a chance to head to down and see some caching friends and go out caching in an area which is very green on the app map.
As it was a lovely day I decided to head down to the spit to go for a few long walks and grab some caches. A lovely day and dodged muggles looking for the caches.
Thanks to all of the COs, I smashed out the last 100 points (and more) for the memory lane souvenir collection.

[NZ Mega 2020](http://nzmega.com) is definitely happening, but has been postponed until 2021. It will be held in Auckland over Labour Weekend, 22 to 25 October 2021. It's going to be a massive celebration of geocaching:
* 20+ years of geocaching worldwide.
* 20+ years since New Zealand had the very first geocache hidden outside of USA.
* All the 20s and now 21 as well!
Talk to your geo-friends and start planning to be part of [this event](http://nzmega.com) - you won't want to miss it!

Had to hit the dirt as a runner came by too fast for me to take cover, they weren't looking so all good TFTC MATM
Wasn’t as hard to find as we thought it was going to be to find but still a goodie
Easy spot (thanks to the hint)! Used the handy seat for signing. The daffodil trail is really nice so far. TFTC
Needed to come into town today, so left muggy hubby behind so I could blitz some caches that friends have found without me.
The gremlins of the last few caches are gone. Found this easily enough with the hint, though my app thinks I should be 5m down the track. Must be the canopy cover.
Thanks for the smilie.

Down in Invercargill with the Manawatu U15 Championship boys hockey team for the tournament this week, and plenty of caching. Out on a morning walk around the Daffodil Loop track with the team manager and some of the boys from the team. The boys were getting the hang of it now so spread out around GZ and quickly found the cache. Again the variation in size helped give an idea of what could be expected, however did mention that they can be all different sizes. TFTC.
I don't know where the people are toady. The carpark was full but we had the track to ourselves. Found the GZ and found the cache. SL and returned cache to place. tftc
These tracks were my playground 20 years ago when we lived in Otatara. Live cantby now but back fir work and little reminder of how special this area is. Tftc
Thanks to the explicit hint we had a hand on this one quickly. Found with Aoraki Sheep.
I decided to go down towards Sandy Point to pick up a few caches. I had a nice walk looking for daffodils as well as the odd cache.
Cheers for the cache.
Cheers for the cache.
After a long day travelling due to cancelled flights, and delayed flights it was nice to get out and have a walk in the fresh air grabbing some caches. First one of the walk and a nice quick one. TFTC
Now we know what a manuka looks like. Once again we were entertained by the birdlife and this time it was a wee black bird with a yellow breast. It was quite fearless. Added some swag. TFTC and greetings from Scotland.
Sat down at the bench to let the muggle pass, and she revealed herself as Lions vs. Lambs, nice to meet you. We have been collecting a few caches in the Invercargill area and over about 25 caches she was the last person to sign before us so we saw the name quite a few times!
Found in reverse. Spotted hint trees and thought meh not too many to search. Good placement in alee. TFTC
Safe and dry with a layer of natural camouflage. Replenished with a couple of swaps. Thanks.
Found on our 25 day New Zealand South Island holiday.
Apologies for the late log but with little or no internet as we travelled and only super slow WiFi in van parks I decided to log all finds on my return home.
two night stopover in Invercargill, found while out on a morning adventure
TFTC

We have been wanting to knock off the Daffodil Loopy caches for some time and thought today would be a good day to have a crack. Really enjoyed the walk, had some trouble with the GPS bouncing round a bit but got there in the end. Cheers and TFTC
This was the only cache we couldn't find on our day out at Sandy Point. We might just be blind, but we did have a thorough look and thought it was weird that everyone else found it with relative ease. Will have to return sometime. Thanks!
A couple of half days down south. Lots of new caches since I was here last. Thanks for hiding them!
After finishing the Rover cache series there was enough energy for the next loop. Thanks for placing all the cache on this nice walkway. It seems as if only one has gone walkabout.. TFTC
