Interesting story behind this good sized cache, thanks again Little Squirell for the hide.
Thanks for getting me out in the brilliant pre-dawn. Cache found in great condition.
Not too keen to put my hand down there after a few scares in the past . Nice hide though. Tftc
Thank you for the good- sized cache. Our last day in Echuca before moving on, but what a good one it was. Some of the best caching we have done in a long time. Some really innovative, intriguing and creative hides that took us some time, but well worth it. Thank you so much to the creators/hiders.A challenging but well spent day.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache Little Squirell.**SKI Pair****
Lovely to find this old ammo can surveying an ever changing landscape All good here on the backroads. Thanks little squirell
Found with catnap777 on a quiet drive in the country side for a smiley or three. Having found and signed the brilliant Little Squirell cache "MARY ANN" years ago, I guess it was high time we checked out 'LADY AUGUSTA" as well. A great story on the cache page, and a cache at GZ built to stand the test of time. [^]Placed in 2013, I guess it already has. TFTC Little Squirell.
dalerious and I had the Saturday off in preparation of our holiday to Canberra, leaving after work on Sunday. Well we couldn't stay at home all day, and the dogs needed a run, so be bailed them and us in the car, and had a lovely drive to Echuca . This one was second cab off the rank. We arrived at gz to see a tree that had been alive long ago. We checked for the usual suspects that live in such a place, with the all clear given, it was on to signing the log .Interesting story of the river boats .Thank you Little Squirell for your contribution to the game .
So many side roads in Echuca and heaps of water ways. Lovely town. Great size cache going down.
Quick find while driving past this morning. Always appreciated when a good container is used. TFTC!
In echuca for a weekend of square dancing and had to go out for a geocaching break
Thanks all's good
Thanks all's good
Over in Echuca for dinner with an old friend and decided to head in search of some caches on the way home.
Music blasting and some carpool karaoke
Arriving at GZ I am being directed by my back seat cachers!
"It's over there!" "No, it's in that one!"
I locate the cache and have a chuckle as it appears that someone has placed a fake mouse on top to frighten people. As I reach in, my headlamp shines across the cache once more and the fake mouse moves.
"Ahhhh, @$%#" I screech, jumping back about a metre.
By this point the music is up so loud that only little mousey and I know what I said.
Shone the lamp back in, mouse is hiding, possibly shaking as much as me.
I pulled up my big girl pants and reached in to retrieve my prize.
Log signed. Heart racing.
I sprint back to the car.

Out and about on Australia Day on some caching adventures in and around Echuca. We had to find the best way onto the correct part of the road after the floods had damaged sections. SL at 12.30pm Left: TB after taking its photo with one of our TB’s. Love finding an ammo can in the wild! #9582 TFTC Little Squirell
Love finding caches like this! Lots of toys. Took the trackable for its next adventure! TFTC
TFTC! Wow! An official geocache container like seen on the videos! Great swaps and lots of them too.
In Echuca for a short holiday, and collecting some local caches was on the agenda. It's nice to see some sizeable caches that have been in the wild this long. Back home we are punished with micro hides
Accurate coordinates made this a quick find , all's good at gz TFTC Little Squirell
First time trying geocaching and it wasn’t a success I didn’t have much time to look
Found by the littlest treasure hunter with us. Enjoying what is left of the daylight out exploring with tooth66 and chiko24. TFTC
Heading back home after a beaut few days enjoying the quality caches around the Echuca area ... interesting yarn, completed with a nice ammo tin at GZ, TFTC Little Squirell and for all your creativity and innovation in your cache placements, we will spread the word in the geoworld !!!
We feel very fortunate to be in Echuca during this lockdown. There is still plenty of caches for us to discover while we are exercising. The light was fading rather quickly as we made our way to this cache, just within the 5m radius. We pulled up on the gravel road, which to that point was quite good (when we continued on the road after finding the cache, it was like a lunar landscape mixed with roofing metal). We made our way to where we thought the cache was hidden, and we were excited to see an ammo can. There is something inherently satisfying in finding a cache that is an ammo can; it is the perfect re-purposing. The cache was in excellent condition, and the nearby cache guardians made their way over to make sure we put everything back correctly. Thank you for tis cache, Little Squirrel.
An unexpected cache container find here, one we have not seen on this trip. Its a tight fit in its home but we were able to extract and add our team name to the logbook.
Thanks Little Squirell for the impromptu ball.

After a great night sleep at camp last night in Lockwood, I woke up early for a big day of caching through the Bendigo region, Bridgewater, Serpentine, Prairie and Echuca. A great day out, lots of finds, only 2 DNFs.
Always love a good ammo can. Tricky to get out, but I got there in the end.

Nice easy find after having lunch in Echuca on my day trip doing geocaches. Love the use of these antique cases
Found at 2:06 PM GAFF1.
Well after reading that lengthy, but entertaining description of the "rivals" and their paddle steamers, all I can say is that in 1853 there may not have been "cocktails" being drunk in the colonies That didn't occur until the 1860's when alcohol was introduced into the drink.
Cache was found with perfect co-ords and we broke tradition and took the Nova Scotia TB.
Thanks Little Squirell.
