As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, or it's been a number of months since the last owner note. I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it. Should you replace the cache after 30 days has passed please create a new cache listing so it can be reviewed as a new cache.

Too close to other caches, and it doesn't appear to be there anyway Sad - I have a good view of GZ from work, and I don't think every DNF has been logged (including mine) - or else it is a popular spot for something else!

G'Day

I'm sorry, but your recent move has brought your cache too close to the Traditional Cache of "An Un-Event-ful Cache" http://coord.info/GC3D7WD and will need to be moved. Please read the following item on cache saturation http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx?expand=1#cachesaturation

I've disabled this listing for the time being, could you please move it to a new location that fits within the saturation guidelines. Once that is done you may enable the cache.

Rgds,
Matt - Ministro.

We searched for it on the 13/1/13 with no success and upon logging I can see that it has now been delisted. The muggles may have got there first.

Had to do some shopping before heading for a weekend of camping! Was able to park closeby and left the kids in the car still running with the airco. To hot today! Luckily a quick find!

Shooting the Gap is easy peasy with the right co-ords ! Now off to the booby trap ! SL TFTC

Found it, but purely by process of eliminating the "gaps". The actual cache was 87 mtrs away from the published co-ordinates, at S 34° 52.541 E 150° 36.086 .

TangoIndiaPapa, thanks for adding to the local caches, but if you're using an I-phone app for caching it does take some checking to get the co-ords right!

Oh, almost forgot **FTF** :-

I needed a find today to fill a gap in the calendar & using Rock-hopper's co-ords had immediate success. Certainly a long way from where we were looking yesterday. Smart phones have their place but nothing beats a dedicated GPSr. Thanks.

Even with a combined caching experience of around 3,000 finds - this one eluded us today. We concentrated our efforts on Terrain 1 territory ie, wheelchair accessible. This eliminated anything above shoulder height or at ground level. GZ was hard to pin down, so we concentrated our efforts along the Emmetts/Grace Bros/Myers/Spotlight wall (there's a lot of retail history just here!) No luck, just lots of gaps with spiderwebs in them.

The nearby laneway to Berry St isn't really wheelchair accessible, but we tried there anyway. The only other place it might be is that other laneway, but it was locked up.

Good luck to the next cachers!

Since people are finding this one quite hard I reassessed the difficulty and changed the hint. Hopefully now it will get found.

Keen to break our "first to find virginity". The published co-ords were way off the mark. We relied completely on the hint and managed to locate GZ quickly. TFTC

Coordinates changed from:
S 34° 52.500 E 150° 36.060

Coordinates changed to:
S 34° 52.541 E 150° 36.086

Distance from original: 280.9 feet or 85.6 meters.

These are the updated coordinates.

Thanks Rock-hopper for providing them Smile

After hiding a terrain 5, difficulty 5 cache thought this would be a breeze. Had RiverRuners & Rock-hopper for company but despite spending considerable time peering into dark gaps we came up empty handed. A terrain 1 cache is accessible by someone in a wheel chair which reduces the hiding places ie only on firm ground. GPSr indicated cache is hidden inside the store. Wondered whether a smart phone had been used so went & checked that narrow laneway & found a couple of loose bolts but again no access for a wheel chair. I'll pass. Thanks.

Out evening caching with Tuena & Rock-hopper. Couldn't get any closer than 7 mtrs. Spent over 30 mins in 40 + heat. Terrain 1 ?

07-Jan-13
GZ is a stone's throw from work, so I ducked out despite the 40 degree plus heat (45 if you believe the thermometers in town) to have a look. Closest I could get was 14m, 3 different GPSrs suggest it is on the roof of or inside of spotlight. I checked the location I thought it was most likely due to the name, but nothing stuck out, would recommend a more useful hint or a coordinate check.
