Searched for over 1 hour in the dark with a torch for this one.
I think it has been washed away by the look of the terrain or it has been removed.
I did however get some nice night photos
Thanks for placing this one maybe it will be replaced.

We had two good looks here, and scraped away a lot of leaves. I hope we didn't miss what seems like a good sized cache. Might need a check.....
Searched for a while but no luck perhaps buried under leaves as hasn’t been found found for a while
Very nice cache! Went out late night searching and found this bad boy next to our accommodation- TFTC BJ4L
Wonderful to be on Lord Howe Island... finally!
No cell phone reception makes this place fairly close to paradise, what an awesome way to live.
Came up on the bicycles, went to see the wreckage of the plane and then picked this up quickly on the way back, a nice easy find.

This morning out on a walk by myself I found 2 of Lord Howe's special birds, the first was a pair of Emerald Ground Doves on the lawn of the Anglican Church and then just a little further down Middle Beach Road I found a Woodhen family with 2 very small chicks calling and scratching in the debris from last weeks cyclone. Great to know that these very tiny babies had managed to survive the wind and rain and falling trees right near where I found them.
After that I continued along Lagoon Road to Old Settlement Beach.
Still not having any internet access to try and sort out the problems of no caches seeming to be on the GPS I was just following my notes from home and satellite readings. I seem to be getting better at this as I found I was within a few metres of GZ fairly quickly.
Reading the hint and looking around I realised where I should be searching.
Soon had CIH.
A great start to a really great day on beautiful Lord Howe Island.

We came to search for this cache following on from a morning boat trip to the truly spectacular Ball's Pyramid. The cache was quickly located once at Ground Zero and log book signed before replacing as found. Thanks so much for the cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
Together with df8an I found this Cache. This is my first Cache in Lord howe island. T4tC
First day on Lord Howe island. After a nice dinner nearby, me and MB1965 searched the cache and we found it muggle-free. Nice idea. T4tC and greetings from Germany
Easy find.
I thought about leaving a TB but the last web log was 5 months ago so it could be a long time before it was moved, even though there is a log signature from two days ago!
Pity there aren't more caches on the island. there are so many great places for them.

Found while on a relaxing visit to Lord Howe Island. A lovely spot for a cache. Actually found on 2nd April but not able to log it because of no access to internet.
I love this beach! Nice and quiet. Didn’t see turtles today but beautiful coral. If the tide is coming in and conditions are good, don’t be scared to swim out to the yellow buoy. It looks a long way but with fins you’ll be fine. The water isn’t that deep as it’s full of coral! It drops off as a shelf into several metres depth. The coral is like a city! TFTC.
Took a week's leave in April - found this geocache on the 2nd day. Given the lack of mobile coverage didn't get to log this find at the time and then forgot to do it when we got home. It's now the 16th June and we have been geocaching the past two weekends and remembered we hadn't logged this one.
Lord Howe is well worth the visit.

Waiting between car arrivals and bike riders, then finally had the place to ourselves. Lovely shady location. TFTC
We checked this one on arrival as it is right at the entrance to our accommodation. Only a few scrappy bits of paper held together by a paper clip. Today, we finally got around to replacing the old log with a new log book and pencil in a plastic bag. All good with the hide here - even better than before as it wasn't hidden very well but it is now.
Forgot to log this when we came home..back to internet. Easy find and saw a lovely bird nesting near by. TFTC
Second attempt to access this cache as there were just too many muggles the first time. Any excuse for a bike ride is good. TFTC.
A lovely location and easy to find. We found this the day before but there were too many people about. TFTC.

We've been on the island a few days and started to collect way points for a few of the multi's but it was good to get an actual cache find. Our caching is poorly planned at the best of times and while I organised myself enough to have the GPSr loaded with all the caches and offline details in the mobile I hadn't really read any of the descriptions so the multi's may or may not be found this trip.
For this traditional, what seems a rarity on Lord Howe, I made a nice quick find before we set off for Kim's Lookout. We plan to return close by later as our accommodation will be delivering BBQ supplies for our lunch.
Thanks seaeagles1997

I stayed just near here and with a full moon was a great place to chill out at night.
Found this afternoon, nice and easy find. Left a pen for future holidayer's to use. TFTC!
Left a notebook in a snap lock bag as a replacement log. Also left a TB that we picked up in Sydney last week. Hope it enjoys this lovely place as much as we do. TFTC
TFTC. Fantastic little beach. The cache log is a little damp and could do with a new log and pencil.
Our first find on LHI. The planes have been thrown into chaos by wind this week, but somehow our plans are unaffected. Just completed a rewarding hike to Malabar, Kim’s lookot, North Beach and Old Gulch. Time to let the kids get wet. Speaking of wet, this log was a bit damp and there was no distinct log just scraps of paper left by other cachers. Thanks for placing. TFTC.
Haven't gotten around to logging caches from our visit before Christmas until now. Nice quick first find on the island.
#1 Arrived here from sydney today on our second trip here. Love the peacefulness of this place. After checking into our accommodation we were on our way to pick up a few way points . Grabbed this one on my way back from the catalina wreck. Thankyou for the cache
Having forgotten to load the coords into the GPS for this cache we weren't expecting to find it but thanks to the good description we had no trouble. TFTC
First cache on Lord Howe Island, found with Team JZ on a few days away at this beautiful location! TFTC!
Find #141

My first find on Lord Howe! The contents of the cache were strewn around and the container was open. I looked around for any trackables that might have fallen out and I only spotted one toy. Therefore there's very little in such a big container. TFTC
It was a nice day for a bike ride and some geocaching before we paddle board at the lagoon. TFTC!
After yesterday's epic adventure chasing birds, planes, cliffs and views, I thought I'd do some of the easier ones today, so after breakfast I cycled down to the end of Lagoon Road, waiting for a couple of elderly muggles to eventually move on before making the find in the obvious place. Good to see a nice big container!
Thanks again for another good hide in an interesting area, somewhere I probably wouldn't have found had I not been caching.

Nice easy find, just how we like caches to be. I didn't take my GPS ,but I looked on google earth before I left home.Took geo-coin OC2972.
Found on our holiday to Lord Howe Island. Shortly after finding this cache we has a great snorkel session with a turtle, shark, sting ray and lion fish.

On Lord Howe for a week of walking, cycling and caching. Male membsec is returning after almost 50 years but first visit for Lady membsec. Great island with great views. After the hard work of the Malabar trail delighted to locate this one in a location that we expected as we approached GZ.

Found at night, a huge spider jumped onto and then off my foot (EW). A beautiful spot.

This was my first cache in this southern paridise! Accompanied by the CO, I was easy finding such a large container here. Swam at the beach in water that was disturbingly warm. TFTC!!!
A wonderful place and fun to do a couple of caches during our exploration of the island.
Thank you
Thank you
Gotcha !!! I'm over on beautiful Lord Howe Is. for the 50th reunion of a group of 9 climbers who sailed over from Sydney in 1964 to attempt to climb Ball's Pyramid. Our ages now range from 70 to 83 !!!
I had two other aims whilst here... (1) To climb Mt Gower with my wife who, due to a damaged knee, was unable to join me and my daughter last time we were here . and (2) To find all the geocaches in the area,
I'm happy to report all these projects were completed successfully and a great time was had by all.
Thanks "seaeagles1997" for placing your 3 caches on the Island and thanks to your family for looking after them. A Favourite from me also visited TBs and GCs. Cheers Temingi

Sprung by the CO's geo-nana in the process of finding this cache! It was lovely to meet her. She gave us a few hints about the other caches on the island. Dropped in a geocoin. TFTC
Arrived on LHI today and after exploring the town I made a short detour to Old Settlement Beach. The Cache was quickly found and is in very good condition (despite the bad weather in the last two days).
Afterwards I enjoyed the nice views around the beach .
Thanks for this Cache!
Found 4:12pm, #667

Dropped off a TB. LHI is an absolutely wonderful place - didn't disappoint the first time, didn't disappoint this time. TFTC!
A quick find after a walk around the top of the island - great to see a nicely sized cache rather than the usual micros ....
We had completed our walk over Malabar and I could not miss the opportunity to find my first cache on LHI. This was a beautiful spot and the bridge here in great condition. I cannot get over how well maintained all the picnic areas are and this was no exception.

Our first LHI geocache. C-chord spotted this one on a morning walk to take photos before the winter weather sets in. We did a Rons Ramble afterwards. Thanks for hiding this geocache, we hope to get the other three before we leave.
Thanks for placing these caches. A little diversion while staying on this beautiful island
My 1st find in Australia - a last paradise which Lord Howe Island truely is...
...on the way to Kim's Lookout, lovely area, great views.

Found on the second attempt after being unable to get a good GPSr signal the first time - turns out it was an easy find !
After finding the cache, we walked up the hill to check out the wreck of the catalina.
Thanks for the cache, seaeagles1997, it's areal bonus going to paradise AND finding a geocache !

On a bit of a holiday, which could not be better now that we found the cache! GPS coverage is a bit spotty but once you get the position it is quite easy to find.
Having a wonderful time on the beautiful Lord Howe Island. Fantastic day yesterday climbing Mt Gower's stunning 875m. Just had a late breakfast with Andrew and Val. Now out and about exploring the island by bike today. Left trackable. TFTC.
Nice geocache and a beautiful spot. Just arrived, thanks for bringing us to this beach, going snorkeling soon
# 4604. Very excited to log my first cache on this wonderful island. A great sized cache easily found right next to where we will be staying in a few days. Picked up computer mans's pathtag that has been here since 30th March and also the TB left there recently. We arrived yesterday so have only started to explore the island but we did snorkel amongst the turtles at Sylphs Hole this afternoon. TFTC
The first day with deadly treadlies was spent on the northern end of the island. We went to the market (2 tea towels, a bag, and a very nice print), then took the snorkeling stuff to Old Settlement Beach. We had seen two turtles before we even went into the water!
We swam out to the coral reef - Sylphs Hole, and saw heaps of colourful fish of all sizes.
After the swim we snaffled the cache. Nice big one and easy to find.
(Thanks Nan for looking after it)
Thanks, Robmc.

Found on 30/10/2013 while on hols. Short walk from our great accomodation at Ocean View. Thanks seaeagles for creating a bit of extra interest in our holiday. It is a beautiful part of the world!
This was quite near to our resort, so a nice wander and explore amongst this amazing banyan tree. The find was secondary to the incredible location.
Gorgeous island, can't wait to go back.

Our first day and our first cache on beautiful Lord Howe. The island is so clean and unspoilt, truly paradise!
Left the Five Little Travelling Mice there to continue their adventures and took the Beach Thong Travelbug.
Thanks for the cache and for showing us to Old Settlement Beach where we snorkelled Sylphs Hole and saw so many wonderful fish and corals.
