We've lost count of how many times we had to make this cache camo. The spot is a far too popular hangout and we're guessing that many of the camos may have even ended up as firewood. So, alas, we've decided to archive this one instead of getting frustrated about it going missing so often. It was good while it lasted.
We're guessing that this cache may have gone missing (again) - but sometimes we are unable to find our own caches when they suffer cache creep. Take a quick look and we'll be delighted if you find it. Otherwise we may have to end up archiving it.
Quite an easy find but not what I was expecting from the hint - great camo. TFTC
Very cool spot but we had to dry the paper the cache hadn’t been sealed properly so full of water
Took a little while to locate this very good camo cache. Log is dry in good condition. SL TFTH TFTC replaced as found ready for the next geo-adventurers.
Forgive us Geocache gods. We found it but didn’t have a pen for the Log book. Nice Cache!
Found:D
Nice cache and camo and spot it was a little difficult but we succeeded.

Had this camo ready months ago, though just as well that we didn't hide it then, as rain and high water may have washed it away. Finally took advantage of the beautiful weather today to do a partial walk of the dam's trail and rehide this cache.
Sorry it's been awhile. But actually glad we didn't replace it yet as the rain a few weeks ago would have wreaked havoc with it. Hoping to get to the dam in the next week or two.
This one has been remade. We just need to make it back to the dam to put it in place.
It appears that the cache container and camo have gone missing again. Strangely enough, the log sheet was found lying around. We'll look into this as soon as we can. Unfortunately we just did the walk around the dam within the week so we're not sure when we'll be back again.
zargfinders I found your cache ZFPT18 - Sandy Breezes on 13/11/20, 3:35 pm. This is my find 2837 and find # 13 today. After a brief search soon had CIH. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
The rule I’ve found often works for Zargfinders ...trust nothing, question everything . Didn’t take too long at Gz once noticing something slightly askew. Tftc

This Sunday the weather was very pleasant so it was a good day for a spring walk. Eagle Eyed Monkey Girl suggested to walk the circuit around Manly Dam. It turned out to be a great walk with a big variety of vegetation; bush, heath, wetlands and lots of wild flowers.
All in all we walked exactly 10 kilometers with two extended breaks for tea and picnic.
On this date, exactly 4 years ago, I also walked this trail and found all but four of the ZFPT caches. And even though I also had the coordinate of the Final, I never had the chance to come back to this area and complete the series. So today would be a good day!
Walking along Manly Creek we decided to come back later in the seasons to see the many water lilies in bloom. We might even consider a swim!
The cache was found. Timing was of essence as there was a continuous flow of muggles.
TFTC!

Last one for the day. Found easily, but getting it out was a little harder.

Returned to the dam this afternoon for a short walk and to replace this cache and Swimming Area.
Went on a cache maintenance trip around the dam this afternoon. Just saw Justkeepwalking5's DNF, saying that they searched for 40 minutes. We searched for about 10 minutes and saw no sign of the replacement or original camo. It appeared that some clean up had been done in the area (a bench that had previously been assembled there was now missing) so we thought that the cache may have been discarded at the same time. We have supplies for a replacement, so hope to have it back in action when we come back to replace Swimming Area.
Thankyou to whoever placed the geocashe there because it was really fun to find!! Such a good hiding place.
We actually stumbled across this and have never done geocaching before. This was the one that got us started.
Ftf!!! Amazing spot!!!! If it had teeth it would have bitten me a couple times!!!
FOUND with my partner who is FTF for take two. Looking for a good 20 mins and then found. Love it great spot well done TFTC
Sadly this cache floated away during the flooding after last month's heavy rains. We decided to replace it with a totally different camo than before - one that was leftover from a waypoint of a cache we recently archived. We considered archiving the current cache and listing a new one so previous finders could find the new camo. However, that seemed like too much work so we decided just to update the clue instead!
Cache is ready and waiting to be found.

#1956 Ninth of ten finds today caching around Manly Dam. Quick find for a change. Loved the cleverness of the cache container. TFTC and your creativeness
This cache has been ready to replace for months, but geoboy forgot about it last time he walked around the dam - with the cache in his backpack!
Today we finally got around to putting it back in place.
Cache is ready and waiting to be found.

Doing some cache maintenance this morning and decided to check on this one - sadly it's gone missing.
Today was the day to complete the ZFPT.
So we did it! We finished it in 6 hours.
Had to call CO for assistance. Found 20/21
As we missed a clue we did the guess and check
strategy until we found the final!
