Found it! Lid was rusted shut. Husband opened it. Managed to log it. Container could still do with replacing.

What a fun cache but a pity the container is in such a derelict state. The lid is so rusted I was unable to open it. Have a photo as proof TFTC B/dale bandits

Headed out east this weekend to visit some friends. So obviously a bit of caching to be done before and after.
Again, this one has fallen into a bit of disrepair. Would have loved to have seen it when it was first constructed. Found all the various bits and pieces. We managed to rebuild as best we could.
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, B/dale bandits

Nice easy find on Australia Day 2023 it had had a branch fall on it, and its contents strewn everywhere, but a bit of bushcraft, and it's back to fight another day. Aussie Aussie Aussie ️
I found it and it was my first geocach! But I was unable to open the tin and the water and rust stuck it together, almost got it open but hurt my fingers
Short walk from the side of the road, unfortunately the tin was filled with water and unable to sign log. Thanks for the cache
Great hiding spot the thunderbox was a bit broken so fixed to how I thought it should be great location
With lockdown finally over, I quickly got my things in order and headed out to Deptford to camp for a couple of nights and enjoy some geocaching in the area.
Arrived yesterday afternoon and set up camp. Enjoyed the evening as I had the whole place ot myself. Woke up this morning and went on a short adventure.
Driving past I thought it was worthwhile to stop for the short walk for this cache. And it was, although the outer wooden container has seen better days, as has the inner metal one. Somehow the log book is still dry though.

Thanks for the cache. Great hide. Only downside was all the toys and stuff was pretty badly damaged due to rust.
Tilly, Phoebe, Siany, Timmy, Nanna and Papa all found this geocache . Hard but simple look for the big tree not T!!
Not the driest of cache though logs seemed unharmed. Full marks for creativity. Tftc
Quick find off the Rail Trail. The GZ looks like a thunderbox. It was a bit wet but I managed to sign it and onto the next. TFTC
I just had to stop by and see this cache really like the title of it, curious to see condition of this l was surprised it only needs to be tapped back into place with a small hammer, l also found a dry log with plenty of room left which I added my signature to, l also put the seat down before I left would have enjoyed seeing this one when it was first released... Hi there Cache Owner,
It looks like this cache might need some attention from you, as one or more seekers have indicated there is an issue with the placement. It is being temporarily disabled, to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location until the issues/s with this cache are addressed.
As advised in the Guidelines, Cache Owners need to make regular visits to a cache [**(See Here)**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/guidelines#cachemaintenance)
Cache maintenance arrangements need to be proactive, not reactive. This means regular visits (by the CO) to check on the cache and not relying on or expect passing seekers to fix issues or replace missing caches.
Whilst it is recognized that as a result of the current COVID19 situation, it might not be possible for a Cache Owner to just pop out and check on a cache, we still need to know that you are on top of the issue.
CO's of caches disabled during the current COVID19 crisis will be given some extra time to react. Caches where the cache owner does not currently feel it is safe to maintain will not be archived in the normal time frame, as long as there is some indication from the CO. **Don't let a lack of communication kill this cache.**
#What should you do:-#
- Should the regional Health and Victorian Government requirements allow it **AND** you feel it safe for you to maintain and address this cache now, please feel free to do so. Don't forget to log an 'Owner Maintenance ' log and also Enable the cache once the issue is fixed.
- **Alternatively,** what you need to do is place a Write Note log indicating a date when you you expect you might be able to attend to the issue/s.
#Please Note#
When the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if there is no acknowledgment from the CO as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned and processed accordingly.
**JUST A HINT:-** In case you are not aware, there is a new Geocaching Dash Board designed to assist a Cache Owner in managing the caches they own. Have a read about it [**HERE.**](https://www.geocaching.com/blog/2020/07/welcome-to-the-cache-owner-dashboard/?newsletter=PM) You will find your very own dash board [**HERE**](https://www.geocaching.com/play/owner?utm_source=geocaching&utm_medium=blog&utm_campaign=COD)
Thanks for you cooperation,

Found again with geo kid. Needs some good attention and maintenance. Was unable to sign log. As it was wet.
After checking up on one of my caches nearby, we decided to grab a few other ones on our way back.
A short walk in took me to gz, plenty of spots for snakes to hide but, fortunately, none were spotted today.
Knowing what I was looking for, I spied a likely suspect from the path and carefully traversed my way to the cache.
Made my way in and signed the log with ease.
Thanks to B/dale Bandits for putting the effort in to create this cache!

Found it with the geokids on our drive home from Buchan Caves. Cache is collapsing, so we will log a needs maintenance request. Gorgeous spot though, and walk up from the road. TFTC
The cache is unfortunately falling apart. We’ve restored it as much as possible but it needs some major repairs. I’ve emailed the CO a photo of the cache condition for reference.
TFTC. Signed and returned.
Cache needs TLC. Gathered pieces and put together somewhat.

YAY found it today with my Geodog, Hydro. We were out for a drive from Lakes through to Bruthen. It was a perfect day to find a cache or two along the way.
Thanks B/dale Bandits for setting up this fun cache and maintaining it. It certainly wasn’t what I was expecting .
Note: It does need a little TLC sooner rather than later. The outer layer is starting to collapse and come apart.
PS: The Troll Dolls (TN6TR0) joined Hydro and I on our caching adventures today.

An easy park, short walk and find. Beautiful scenery. The cache needs a bit of TLC though. Took bubbles and left a ‘Coles Mini’ toilet cleaner - fitting for the cache. TFTC!
Well I needed to go to the toilet but this wasn't exactly what I had in mind. Logbook was damp and the container looks like it could do with some maintenance. TFTC
Parked at the gate (trying to avoid the dead wombat) and walked the short distance to the cache.
While signing a couple of cyclists passed on the trail but I don't think they saw - if they did they would have presumed I was answering a call of nature - appropriate for this cache.
Thanks B/dale bandits

Riding the rail trail with the geo husband and brother & brother in law from Bairnsdale to Bruthen for lunch and back again. Awesome weather on New Years Eve. A quick find on the return trip. A favourite point for the work put into constructing this cache. TFTC
Today was a road trip from Mt Beauty to Lakes Entrance via the Great Alpine Road, stopping for a number of caches along the way. Found easily and I loved the decoration.
My thanks to B/dale bandits for the cache.

The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
After pulling over the geo-unit, it was a quick stroll up the trail to make the easy find [^]

14752. Found during a long weekend caching run down through the Bombala / Genoa / Mallacoota / Cann River / Orbost / Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale regions with specimenX.
A long weekend caching plan was hatched with specimenX to head down to Victoria for 4 days of caching and camping. Had a fantastic time driving around enjoying the scenery, camping at various locations, plus the huge number of caches to be found. Day Three was here, and we packed up again and hit the road. Next find of the day. A fun way to finish the day's caching. A short walk up the Rail Trail for the very nice find. Signed the log, returned the cache, and we headed off to find our camp site for the night.
Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches !!

We went the hard way around, made extra hard with the geokid2. Geokid1 found a skull which had to be collected...! A lovely day out- only 10 mins from the house I grew up in. TFTC
On our little exploration of the area and the fantastic rail trail we made an interesting discovery. Thank goodness we were ok however we were a little worried about others that have walked or cycled the trail for a considerable distance! Particularly if they were not little people.
Thanks for the fun find B/dale bandits - a true wee gem of the Aussie outback.
