Logs
Captain Crusty Varmint lead the expedition to this wonderful little island - the cache needed a few minor repairs (all good now).
r055ktm and I were on the weir to locate some caches today. Launching our little tinnie at Gough Bay, we enjoyed excellent conditions for our adventure to the island.
Ross quickly spotted the container as we worked our way through the scrub.
Unfortunately water has entered the container, making the log book unusable. We left a fresh sheet of paper in a ziplock bag, so future cachers should be able to log.
Thank you mamba2, it was a lovely experience this afternoon.

found it! forgot to bring a pen! GPS was taking us all over the place! hint helped us a lot! tftc
We are staying on the lake for a well deserved holiday after a trying year. Yesterday the kids all got to have fun on the biscuit behind the boat. Today I got to pick up this cache. The GPS was a bit jumpy and we would have been better off trusting our geosenses. Sure enough it was where we thought it would be.
Thank you mamba2 for placing and maintaining stickers and stones for us to find today.
Find # 926.

TFTC! Cache was a little damp but still in reasonable condition, well placed! A good day for boating with the team! Cheers
Took a little time to find but was pretty close to the description and hint provided. Contents were a little wet but still ok!
Rough day for skiing so took the boat out geocaching. Left Army Man to defend the Island.
It's Cup weekend, which means it is time to dust off the boat and blow away the cobwebs in preparation for Summer Had a bit of time to kill before heading off to lunch in Jamieson, so manzie and I thought we'd quickly cross this one off the list. Wasn't exactly dressed for a stroll into the bush with my skirt and thongs, so manzie kindly retrieved cache for me Contents were a little bit wet after being unfound for 10 months or so, but still managed to sign log. TFTC and bringing us to this island we've been past a million times before without realising it was an island!
Log book a little wet but should dry and still able to log. Spotted an echidna and a dead kangaroo on the way.
FTF, Woohoo!
Woke up this morning knowing that I had to get a cache today for my Project 366, only 20 odd days to go. Today is one of them and being in Goughs Bay there were not many options until I spotted this new one.
Well, this was an option but how do I get there with two brothers and their wives visiting when someone suggested lunch at the Jamieson Brewery Pub and travelling by boat (right past this cache). Did I vote for that, sure did!
Off we go in MuggleWifes 350 chevy and soon had the log book in hand, simple enough cache once you get to the island.
Great spot, TFTC and the FTF option mamba2.

Usually a cache requiring a boat to reach it, should be classed as a Terrain 5
