The guidelines advise that the CO should make occasional visits to check on the cache as well as promptly address any logs that indicate that the cache requires some attention. If you can not attend to the issue promptly, then you need to Disable the cache - I have disabled it this time.

Eighteen months without a find and 6 DNF's in a row. Time for a check by the cache owner?
Despite two of us searching for 10 to 15 minutes we came up empty handed. Boo! [:o)]
Couldn't find this one today, although we found a rather suspicious looking rock. Sadly there was nothing under it.
We even did a PAF to no avail
DNF 21 July 2017

DNF 21 July 2017
DNF, but could see where we think it should have been. PAF confirmed what we thought as well.
After a nearby event we called up to this little town to get a few of our unfounds off the list. No luck for us on this freezing cold morning. we searched all possible places but still nothing. This does not mean it is not there, just that it was no success for us.
Headed out this way today to clear up some of the unfounds, was a great day to be riding the bikes to the caches that were of the track, weather was pleasant to us and we managed around 25 finds all up. TFTC
So I managed a day off and headed to the Barossa for some caching, the sun was shining at it was surprisingly warm for a winters day.
This was my last cache for the day, I called into Stockwell as I was running low on petrol but I couldnt find a station, therefore it was back to nuri - after this one last cache of course TFTC

Owl needed inspiration and Mrs SA Sewer Rats needed stress relief, so this was a match made in heaven. This was a quick find, which was just as well - there were definite muggle noises around.
I said to my twin this just has to be a Chrispy 89 cache and true was I!
Found with The X-Trailers.
Another silo I have visited .
Cache all good.

Found on a fun caching afternoon with Sebastbat.
The bat found it quickly in the first place he looked

Nice quick find right before Christmas. Hope the workers enjoy their break. Thanks for the cache!
Had a day off work and wanted to catch up on a few more smileys, so grabbed the geobag and a few supplies and headed out, decided I would complete a circle starting at home and finishing back there.
Out With **JEM** today joining dot to dot smiley faces in a circle to see how many we can get before heading home.
Found while travelling south on a lovely day for caching. Thanks chrispy89 for this cache.
Headed over to SA with Sorceysal, who happened to be free to give me some company, on a planned trip to do the fish series, amongst others, and grab a few more caches in this cache-rich state. It was now day 2 for us, and this was a part of a planned long day grabbing some decent caches. My thanks to chrispy89 for the cache, SS had it in hand in no time
Day two of our epic road trip with the Bogonghazys as we get nearer to our goal of the geoart fish series. A great day with lots of finds and laughs along the way. This is certainly a cache rich state and my many thanks for the Cachers of South Oz for all the effort you have put in placing these caches for us to find.
Thanks for the cache chrispy89

A quick easy find. Just what we needed after our previous cache was a "did not find". Helped the kids stay interested. TFTC.
Found it. Great hide love to give a hint but you will have to keep looking. Thanks for the cache. Mickwaldo 8/3/15
A very visible land mark

Thought we would head out to stockwell for a look around and to do a few geos, nice quick cache. TFTC
Found during a visit to the Nuriootpa area after completing the Five Oh series. Thanks for the cache chrispy89!
Tricky one for us as I couldn't get my coordinates to work properly. Luckily I have two kids who don't give up and they found it after a little while. TFTH
Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped at Greenock we were planning a leisurely few days before moving on. After the last 2 days and only a handful of smilies we decided to make a more concerted effort to grab some finds today.
It was sooooo cold today the car said it never got above 9degrees! Can assure you it felt a darn sight colder when we had some hard to find caches and were out in it for more than we anticipated.
Some lovely views again today and other than 1 cache all with co-ords that were very accurate.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive. and maybe we will meet you at the event on Sunday.

Found this cache while In SA to attend Oz Mega. Travelled today from Karoonda to Berri. Enjoyed the variety of caches along the way and the many novel hides. Thanks for your cache chrispy89
We found your cache today chrispy89, we were travelling from Berri to Nuriootpa on another leg of our South Australian adventure. The weather was perfect for caching and we saw some wonderful countryside along the way. Thanks for the hunt.
South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.
I joined up with Sol de Lune for the lead up to the Mega and the mega itself. This was the second day exploring the Barossa, with Nurioopta the center of activities. Thanks.

A couple of days out from the SA Mega and Albida and I were on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones we attempted were in good shape. I think we will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......
Thanks for this one......

Another in the Chrispy caps lock series if you ask me! Had to imagine that trains used to run through here once upon a time...

Sat down to fill out log book, got pricked by pine needles. Another nice spot in today's trip. TFTC
Having come to Adelaide for a work training day, now it is time to play. Lucky for me Brisal5 is keen for a cache hunt, and getting me closer to 5000 finds.
Thanks chrispy

Ice creams in hand and we are juggling pens etc to log this without dropping the ice creams. Thanks.
Please excuse generic logs. This was one of our caches while on a weekend in the Barossa Valley. We wish to thank all the cache owners for the way in which these caches are maintained. It is a pleasure to come to the Barossa at any time because of the many attractions it offers, not the least is the number of caches in this area. We will put in separate notes for logs that may need maintenance etc. Co-ords in the majority were very accurate. Thanks so much again. It is a wonderful caching area and we will be back. Keep up the good work all the CO's.
Moneydork, Mrs Flipper and I came up to the Barossa area to attend a gc pub lunch and found many caches afterward. This was one of many -- the silos really are big in SA, but I reckon grain is big business. Thanks Chrispy!
Found on a day out to an event with Locus and Firesafe
thats not a normal crispy size quick find

Headed out to A Pub Lunch In The Barossa with firesafe and Honeysucker.
All up, I managed to score 44 smileys and only 2 DNFs except we managed to locus cache both of those on our return visits to GZ
What a fun day, great food, great people (as always) and lots of caches plus some very slippery mud, too
Pulled up and got told 'this is a chrispy cache.'
Oh no, I thought! but at least this wasn't a bloody nano cache in the bush

Found. A wet cold windy day, what better way to spend it than to go geocaching with the family. We found 26 before the kids starting getting restless. Fun outing had by all. TFTC.
Cheers.
Cheers.
It had been raining all last night and this morning and was still raining. We were thankful that accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. No activity at the silos today but there the call of a lone parrot nearby. TFTC chrispy89
This cache was found on Day Two of our Four Day Adelaide Caching Tour, with TriBre, Fairybum, Mastamak, KidzJCT and Running as Teams BosNewellgus and Gummy Dales. Team Gummy Dales joined us late last night, and with all teams in attendance we headed out to the Barossa Valley Area.
Today the attack would be on the Fruit Loop, Five Oh and a whole lot of caches in between! I know we drove through the Barossa and we elected to stop for lunch at one of the wine estates but by the time we can to think about lunch it was way passed 2pm and we had run out of wine estates to stop in on! We did eventually make a stop in Mount Pleasant for Dinner at a great Little Pub, and it was Poker night! We did not stay as there was still smiley's to be found....
With the large volume of finds I have written a generic log. I would like to thank the CO's for creating a Great time out and I can assure you fun was had by all. I believe we will be planning another trip to SA....
This was the 59th find of 188 finds for the day in SA, with 1 DNF's by this time of the day.

Found with TriBre, Mastamak, KidzJCT, FairyBum and Gummy Dales while in Adelaide on a four day geocaching excursion from Brisbane.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Found with TriBre and our team BosNewellgus, KidzJCT, Fairy Bum and their team Gummy Dales.
We were down from Brisbane for 4 days of geocaching. TriBre and I flew in yesterday morning and got a good head start on the cache finds. KidzJCT and Fairy Bum flew in late last night. It was up early this morning to continue the smiley hunt.
Today we headed up towards the Barossa and ended up completing power trails Five Oh and Fruit Loop and a heap of individual caches.
We had a heap of fun today driving through this area. Great scenery and a chance to check out a lot of small towns My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here and we didn’t visit one of the many wineries we passed by. We did have a fantastic pub dinner in a small town I didn’t even know the name of.
I hope everyone in SA realise how good they have it here geocaching wise. A geocache almost everywhere you turn. We had a fantastic time while here and no doubt will be back again sometime. A big thank you to all cache owners whose caches we found.
Due to the volume of caches found I have only written a generic log. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache.
