TFTC great size lovely spot not to damp after all rain still easily signed
another day out caching with agazo, this was quickly spotted, then had to navigate a few branches, tftc
Nufrat and I took advantage of the excellent weather to collect lots of caches around Oamaru. Great hide and local resident. TFTC.
Continuing my walk along the walk/cycle way, my attention soon centered on retrieving this cache. I first thought I was looking at trash left, but thankfully I spotted ID that confirmed I was actually looking at the real deal. I love caches this size . Thank you for setting this up.
On holiday for 2 weeks in caravan, stopped at oamaru for couple nights and thought we would go find some cach hunting . TFTC
Crawled in with my mate. 2 grown a$$ women hiding and quiet as people walked by. Left a trinket. TFTC
Hard to crawl with a bad knee but got it. Nice little piggy. Sat and hid as a woman went past pushing a pram. Her dog gave me a quizzical look but didn't spill the beans.
Contents of inner plastic bag are wet, yet cache was closed and normal on arrival. It was if the log book had been left out at some point
Found Thu 8 Jun 23.contents of inner plastic bag are wet, but great to find first cache since restarting from 8 years ago. GrovesSprinter
Our last day on the A20 cycle trail leaving from the Tokarahi Huts to Oamaru. So many caches along this part of the trail and it’s a very hot day, so only stopped to give a few caches on our way.
A quick find here amongst the prickles. Piggy looks like he needs a wash and the log book is damp but we could still add our names on it. TFTC

Found with the help of our 3 year old nephew!! He thought it was Christmas. Lol Thanks.
Labour week end mission to smash out a good portion of the A2O caches. Got most of those between Duntroon and Oamaru which wasn't bad given I had a half day on Sat, full day on Sun and only a small bit of Mon.
Solved this one and came by to claim.

Thanks hill55 and columba scouts for the cache, enjoying picking up a few caches as I get close to Oamaru and do not have to worry so much about my bike battery failing.
Quick find., once I had my head in the right space.

Many thanks for the cache. Mr Kiwi dropped me off near Windsor and I walked back to town. Largest cache roday. Log was a it damp.
Cache was a quick find and I got muggled by a dog who thought it was great fun to see this old person under a tree. Explained geocaching to the owner
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on a coolish winters day caching in and around Oamaru during our Queens Birthday trip south.
We were passing by so had to stop and have another go at this cache that we had DNFed a few years back. This time, there was no sign of bees (a large deterrent last visit) and an instant find for SW. Good to turn another frown into a smile. TFTC.

#21332. Quick find today (not sure how we missed it last time; maybe it was well covered with leaf litter then). TFTC.
A couple of muggles I'd past once already we're heading towards me, so I waited them out by talking on the phone before even beginning the search.
It was a super quick find.
But i hung around a while so they'd move further away.
Thanks for putting this here

Today started cycling the alps to ocean rail trail an awesome experience. With a few caches to provide the cherry on top. TFC
I'm not sure if what we found was it. There was an empty white pill container thrown in a prickly bush with no lid on it. Was that it? Great name though!
Hunted through bush and Found this empty pill container with string round the top, is this it?
Nobody me crawling thru a bush like a snake the girl going past on her bike. ️️

We had a wee crawl in but our hearts weren't really in it and the bees around the honeysuckle were another deterrent.
Checked on this. Cacheis there!!
Emptied the larger container of water and checked logbook which is dry.

Finally finding some time to log these caches. Took a couple of days off work and decided that today was the day to knock off the next section on the A2O. A wee bit cool and quite windy but enjoyable none the less. A fee quicks finds and a few tough ones. A shout out to Drawp who I run into on the way and helped me with a couple. TFTC.
Loved the title! Tftc number 6992. 1685m towards the DGSc Distance challenge walked today.
On holiday from the North Island and really enjoying Oamaru. Cache is in place with a nice replacement log. However the clue is not so accurate anymore. TFTC
Day 3 of our 6-Day End of the Year caching trip to Dunedin. A very quick find thanks to the add-on that was pretty hard to miss. Thanks for placing the cache and adding to our smilies. Happy Caching
Up from Dunedin on a mission to get total finds for the year up to 1:1. Still got a few to go and days are running out! Thanks to the local COs for your hard work which is making mine a little easier. TFTC
Definitely missing outer container and lid for inner one. Place more paper for log and happened to have a top that fitted inner container so it will keep dry. CO might like to visit soon.
Day 7 - of our (The Seagnoid, Toby, Zara, & myself) epic adventure around amazing Oamaru. With Geofest17 and Danseys Pass and A2O bagged, we are off exploring Oamaru again.
We ran out of time doing A2O, so back today to bag a few more before it rains.
The Seagnoid found this one, thats a little different. Cheers

Tyabeedragon and I cycled most of the A2O from the elephants a few days ago. Now we are back, mopping up sections that we missed.
I was ahead of the dragon and had already found the cache by the time she showed up. O showed it off in all its proud glory. Nice to see a decent-sized cache.

Visiting Oamaru for the Geofest and while here trying to find a variety of caches. Thank you to all the CO's who have placed caches both in town as well as the various rural areas we visited.
So glad geohubby helped out with this one. He was a little more flexible in the muscle and bone area and could access the location of the cache. He also made the find and enjoyed it. So much more of the cache made sense once the find was made. Thanks for another of your caches we've found this weekend hill55 and also thanks to Columba scouts. Cheers!
TFTC. Down to Oamaru attending the GeoFest with kotukuSI.
Our plan for today was to complete the great Mighty Oaks series and find as many types as we could in a day. Great fun and lots of driving.
This was almost a park and grab in the rain.
Cool container.
Thanks hill55, Columba scouts for placing this surprising cache.

A great day caching with purdiepurdie while in Oamaru for the Geofest - we have "knocked off" most of the Mighty Oaks series & are now in Weston to find a few solved puzzles.
This was on our way out of town; unfortunately it had started raining by late afternoon so it was a pretty speedy mission.
Thanks for this cache, hill55, columba scouts.

Down at the Oamaru Geofest with Keylev, UncleSamNZ and Stik-a-Crane. Today was the day to attempt solved caches and some challenge caches that we qualified for in and around Oamaru. Even managed to look at a few trads and two Wherigo's today!
Giving this one a Fav due to the size and the animal based cache container!
We signed the log as Team SEAC 17 to save log paper.
Thanks to all the CO that have placed and maintained their caches.

Found with TTT. Having a wonderful time caching with the group and going to all of the Geofest events! Thanks for the cache!
With Gap (of Fap and Gap)… Our journey to the bottom of the South Island has been almost two years in the planning. We were determined to make it to Oamaru Geofest. We decided to also factor in completing a couple of missions (JASMER and Virtual challenges), and the wheels started turning...
Day Five: Oamaru Geofest
The afternoon was dedicated to walking sections of the A2O trail. We found it more effective to park strategically and walk between finds. We got to see a lot more of the countryside in this way, and we met some colourful characters too... The majority of caches were quick finds and in good condition... An interesting and intriguing cache name... TFTC.

#2,968: Binge Smiley!
What an adventure we had today! TheWanglers, Team_Gaters, and I headed out at dawn from Christchurch with four goals in mind: 1) Find Many Caches, 2) Get TG to 7,000 finds, 3) get me to 3,000 finds, and 4) Have Fun! Needless to say, all were accomplished in spades. It was only my second 100+ day ever, and had us driving, walking, running, biking, and even crawling to make the finds. We were also able to find at least 7 different cache types, and attend two events, in order to catch up with old friends. Thanks to all the hiders, but most of all, thanks to my partners in crime! We signed all logs as "T8T", sung to the tune of AC/DC "TNT".
We took to the bikes for the first time, and made some finds! Cool container here.
