Were sorry that at this time we feel the best course of action for this cache is to archive it and open the area to someone else who may even want to add some on the hiking trails.

Landscape works have been performed in the area and I suspect the cache has gone due to that.

11-Apr-22
Looked for 30 minutes, couldn’t find it even with the hint and all the comments. . someone came and locked the gate. 4:30. Had to leave. Will try again in the future.

13-Mar-22
I got here at 6:30am and found the gate locked even though the sign said 6am to 6pm. So I made a quick find and then began my hike with a 1.5km warmup. Thanks for the cache

15/1/22 Find #5261
Today was a day for girls to get out and have some fun!! Coz they just wanna, they just wanna, oh girls just wanna have fun! And that’s exactly what SaintsMadHouse, KBreeAHH, Cosmonaut95 and I were going to do. That and some maintenance for SaintsMadHouse and friends along the way.
I may have embarrassingly missed this one, leaning at the spot where the cache was and trying a slightly different spot there, while I watch others look in what they expected to be the location. Don’t ask me how. Perhaps I just need another coffee.
Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona.

Found as part of SMH+3. First caching trip up here since I've moved back to Brisbane. TFTC.

15-Jan-22
Found during a Day out with Cosmonaut97, 1MinnieMoo and KbreeAhh. Lots of laughs and antics throughout the day. Some of the finds were geocachews I have adopted and needed to find and maintain. Others were new to me and some maintenance was also done on any we found to be in need of some TLC.

After hatching a plan with chamad, Nikid1 and NayFee to visit Mt Blaine, we targeted a few caches to collect along the way, this was among our early morning haul.
With 4 pairs of eyes on the job, the cache was quickly spotted. Our names added to the log we were off on our adventures.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.

Out for a day of caching with Willis007 Chamad and Nayfee
Never been to this part of the world but looks like a lovely place to visit. We only explored as far as the front fence. I finally spied the cache after concentrating on the wrong end. I’ll have to come back one day for a better look at the area.

11-Jul-21
Out and about with Nikid1, Willis007 and Chamad for a spot of caching around Ipswich and surrounds for the day.

We took notice of the hint when we arrived and wandered on over to inspect everything a cache of this type could be placed, their wasn't many places it could be hidden, but after a decent search we had the cache in hand a short time later.

11-Jul-21
Out for a day of caching with Willis007, Nayfee and Nikid1. I had a list of caches that where required for certain reasons of D/T, 360, age and just because we were passing. However, the main aim of the day was to walk Mt. Blain, grab the caches and the views at the top.

Oh an Aussie Liahona cache and not at the usual spot, surprise, lol. We parked close to GZ and watched the numerous numbers of cars with horse floats go past. A read of the hint and we had an idea but no success until Nikid1 found the sneaky hide, nice one. Oh right! I get the full hint now.
With log signed and cache replaced as found, we were off to continue our list for the day. Thanks for placing this one here and another to add to my list of finds by this CO.

We visited Harding's Paddock for a Mother's Day picnic and hike. It was a very nice location to visit. Went to try to find the cache on the way out while the wife waited in the car. Well, my son and I looked around for five minutes, and didn't find anything obvious. I wondered if my interpretation of the hint was correct. I had another thought, and decided to look more closely - and there it was. What great camouflage! I had looked right at it and didn't recognise what it was. TFTC!

allowed us the find.
Lovely area you brought us to.

06-Aug-18
Loved the hidey spot. It was good to find a new blank log sheet. Thanks for the cache and maintaining it.

05-Aug-18
Well, what do you know. The whole double sided map with marked trails and it's sheltering roof has all gone and the cache has gone with them.

A new cache has been placed quite close to the previous location but not the same spot. There's nothing there anymore to hide a cache.

So close by is hiding a magnetic geocache waiting for it's first signature, but unfortunately it's the same cache listing so not an FTF.

Please rehide it as you found it so that where it's hiding can still be 'used'.

Cheers and happy caching!

Disabling this one for now as it sounds like it has gone missing.
Will attend to it as soon as I can.

Find number 220.

We regularly do the drive from Beaudesert to Ipswich to see the parents, usually only caching on the main road. Actually run a route pocket enquiry along the way and have the best intentions of getting them (don't we all).

Had a bit of spare time on the way up today so thought we detour a little bit. Wow I'm glad we did. This little hidden gem is incredible! We're defniately coming back here to camp, 15 minutes from the city but dead set in the middle of no where.

Explored for a bit with the kids sleeping in the car, liked what we saw from the car so we'll be back.

Thanks for the cache Aussie Liahona, thanks for showing this place is here.

Find # 6 of 7 for the day Big Grin

04-Dec-16
After a long day geocaching on the Gold Coast yesterday, I decided to be more reasonable and only do a few P&G out in the country side. I finished the day with 21 finds and 3 DNF. I saw plenty of Kangaroo and Koala sign but did not spot either – I think those signs are like the Deer Sign that are all over our highways, you are unlucky if you finally see one.

After doing the Mount Walker Power Trail I decided to grab a few P&G that were in the vicinity to add a few smile on my map of Australia. The caches were found fairly easily around GZ and in good shape (I did add a few log pages, but I did not take note on the ones that I did).

Thanks for the cache and the time sent outdoor

07-Nov-16
First, we really want to say thankyou to the CO for placing the cache in such a lovely area. We have seen the nearby caches on the page many times but never seem to have the time to come out to the area. Now that we see that you are able to camp here we will return when the weather is a little cooler and replace the green boxes with a bright yellow smile. SL TFTC

We had done the two Goolman caches, left the picnic grounds, driven to the cemetry, found a cache there and then looked at the map to the road and found 2 caches that we had driven passed. We doubled back to get them. This being one of them. Mr EMC had to come out of the car to help me with this one. TFTC. Hi Aussie Liahona from the chikins big and little Smile

10-Apr-16
Our destination today was Goolman Lookout but we allowed plenty of time to stop for a few caches along the way... and this was one of them. Big Grin
The GPSr wanted us 'over there' and when we didn't find anything 'over there' we used our common sense and checked the obvious and quickly found the cache.
Thanks Aussie Liahona for this cache and adding to our fun today. All good here.

26-Sep-15
Well, there's a bit of a story to tell of our find. When we drove in to this lovely area we hunted high and low, poking here and there to no avail. So we continued on in and walked up to Goolman Lookout where we phoned the CO who told us where the cache should have been. It definitely wasn't there! On the way out we stopped for another look and as Mrs. Herbz stepped out of the car her eyes looked down and low and behold, there was the cache!!! Umm, unfortunately it was a little flat!!! We probably ran it over on our way in

20-Sep-15
Couldn't see it today. Will have to come back.

[Blue]This cache was found at around 11:41 and brings our overall cache find tally to 9081. Our team are known as "The Gangsters" and consist of steeba, The Rats, FarmerFrentzen and I. We found this as part of our pre Mega trip to Stanthorpe.

Our group have been planning this trip for a while, solving puzzles and planning routes so here we were at day three. This means we can enjoy our time at the upcoming Mega event without having to run around and get caches. I have posted much the same log to all caches, sorry for this but many of them blurred into each other by the end of the trip. Much of today was spent focusing on the few puzzle and other caches around town. A great day.

Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache. This was number 40 of 46 caches for the day. [/Blue]

09-Mar-15
Found with The Rats, steeba and Big Matt (also loosely known as The Gangsters).

We made the trip up to Stanthorpe pre Mega so that we could take the opportunity to relax with our families at the event.

Another enjoyable trip with many highlights including the caches and the general companionship of our group.

Thanks Aussie Liahona for the cache.

09-Mar-15
On a caching long weekend with my fellow Gangsters (Big Matt & Shell, steeba, Farmerfrentzen and myself) we partook in a pre QLD Mega blitz on the area from Stanthorpe through to Ipswich where we found hundreds of caches over the few days, many as part of series, trails or as individual finds. Thanks to you as the cache owner for placing this cache.

I'm sorry my logs are very generic, where possible I have tried to add a bit more detail. It certainly doesn't detract from the find.

We look forward to coing back and enjoying the Mega.
Thanks Smile

Found with Big Matt and Shell, Farmer Frentzen and The Rats on a pre Queensland Mega 2015 Stanthorpe trip.

We detoured off the highway for some quick country drive bys- and this was one! The fence and ways through were interesting.
