After watching Geoboy play soccer nearby, I came here to do this series. Took a bit to get into and in summer this area could get a little snakey .
Took me a while to get in here I kept walking around in circles But I eventually got to the right spot & found it
Thanks heaps for the cache, after abit of a walk around the cache was found to be all in good condition..
Time for one more cache today.. and this was the one. As I approached GZ I stepped carefully through the grassy clumps but it was fine. I found the cache out in the open but I doubt any muggle will be wandering past. Thanks Earthbound Chief for placing the cache
This parkland just keeps on going! Halfway around now and geodog had a great time paddling and digging in the sand. Quick easy find and on we went! TFTC
Out and about with echidna44 on this chilly day. Nice easy find here. Thanks Earthbound Chief
Out caching in the Mordialloc area with xambo4u on a very chilly day.
A little wet underfoot in parts, but we made it without to much trouble. Good co-ords, thanks Earthbound Chief.

Thanks Earthbound Chief for extending our walk here at Yammerbook Reserve. Will have to come back for another lap to complete the AL.
All dry & tucked away.

Found it , have been on the bike track many times, but never out here. What a fantastic spot. Tftc
First time looking was using an iPhone and GPS bounce was crazy this time new samsung and was straight there, great to turn a blue face to yellow TFTC
Unlike others I had no problems with the GPS but circled and circled for quite a while until I did find a very well hidden cache. Thank you for this lovely walk.
I had a bus job in the area today, and took the opportunity to bring my bike and head out to find some caches.
A very pleasant area to explore today.
In spite of a recent DNF in the previous logs, I decided to have a look for this one, and once the GPS finally settled, I homed in on GZ.
The container was quite well concealed until I was right on top of it.
The cache is in good dry condition.

Found it after a scramble through the bushes. GPS bounced around a bit but finally settled down. TFTC
We are in the area today after dropping off our grandkids at school and kindergarten with a day to fill in before pickup. This cache proved to be a little tricky to get to - a lot of the ground was under water of quite soft and damp to walk on. A quick find one the GPSr devices had settled. Thanks to Earthbound Chief for the cache.
Quick find in this secluded spot! Quiet cold afternoon out filling in time! TFTC
Found this cache on a quick break between work sites today. Wearing the high vis head to toe PPE was helpful for protecting me from the mud and spidey webs that were abundant.
The GPS bounced a bit but I used my geosenses and soon found the cache in a logical spot.
Thanks for the cache!

8 year old series I finally had a go at so the original caches not all here - this was the 5th of 5 caches found this morning before attempting 2 WP ‘s of the Adventure Lab now here.
Quiet area , I approached from the north so no gate I did see.
Thanks Earrhbound Chief for the cache - dry log , a bit of unloved pocketed
That’s a few of your treasures found today and a few smileys now in the area.

This was a quick find in some lovely wetlands, which were very wet after all the rain that has fallen recently. GZ was a bit muddy but the cache was fine.
Found the rest of this series earlier this month, and today we were close by to this cache so made the find. Didn't come across a fence or gate, but we came from the Station St side along the bike trail.
Anyway we came around the little islet, and found a spade (creepy), then realised someone has pitched a tent close-by. As it was early we activated stealth mode, TNLNSL and made it out of there before being detected. And I wasn't even allowed to hum the theme tune!!
Thanks for placing this cache for our enjoyment EB Chief! Cache on
Hand sanitiser was used before and after accessing the cache.

Out and about caching with Brainiac03 today, with showers reported to be ongoing throughout the day we both knew that we had to dodge the showers when we could and over all smash out some of the drips and drabs of caches we had to do in the area.
With an early start we were eventually rained out, well more so the showers because largely annoying so we called the day early. All in all a great day out, thanks for the cache.

Added note: sorry others have sign since us today, they just signed on different pages (not in order)
Found and in excellent condition since someone last signed in July! Sign as well. Lovely area!
I’ve often seen this are on my drive past so it was great to finally stroll around the area as albeit starting from the mordialloc end. TFTC
You have to go through the gate towards the water, layout will need to look down
Had a little adventure through the gate. Found it quickly. Took the travel bug and sill move on somewhere new.
After a walk through area within the fence we found it. We took the travel bug and will move it on. TFTC
Good little adventure through some protected area that really needs a good clean up, watch your step around the natives :3
It was a bit muddier around these parts, though thankfully it hadn't been raining too much as the big dip in the path on the way to gz with signs posted to inform walkers to turn back around if it was too flooded would've added to our travel time by a not-insignificant margin!
We avoided the puddles and took the scenic walking route around to gz, enjoying how lovely the area was along the way.
Eventually, we headed further in towards gz and it was only a short hunt that was needed before the container was spotted tucked away.
The logbook was signed and all replaced as found before more puddles were avoided on our way back out!

What a lovely little reserve full of birds and wildlife. I found the treasure in good order, in it’s hidey hole. Left one of my painted rocks. And stopped here for a couple coffee.

Having been out for the day in the drizzle, we are now home and catching up on the logging. This one just happens to be being logged at the end of Star Trek: Into Darkness and now starting is Star Trek: Insurrection. We had searched for this cache some time and it had been a saga all of its own just to get to GZ. Thankfully today, we didn't have to cross expanses of water to get to GZ and eventually, the cache was found. Thanks for placing it and showing us this area.
While today was initially supposed to be fine and sunny, it turned out to be a little drizzly with light occassional showers. But that didn't stop us from having a lovely day anyway.
Finally able to avenge a dnf, although it wasn’t a quick find, but so should’ve been.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, Earthbound Chief

This is why I love caching. I consider this area “local” but I’ve never been here. Then came the gate! No signs and unlocked so in I wandered. What an amazing, peaceful place. Thanks for bringing me here.
Tricky area and I wondered if I could pass through the gate here. No signs saying I couldn’t pass through. And it looks like there’s been foot traffic through here also. So through we went to a little sanctuary by the water.
The cache was easily spotted, but it took a little bit to get to get to it due to the tree cover and branches.
The cache, container and log are in excellent condition.
We visited 4 TB.

Well...that gate made me nervous. But its not locked and there arent any 'keep out!' signs.
Took longer than it should have as I think I was expecting something a little different.

Unfortunately lost pen on way in, however with some perception we found this little hideout, thank you for the fun xx
Disabled due to Covid Stay at Home restrictions. Will re-enable when restrictions ease.
Don’t be fooled by the gate. It’s not locked! Never would have known we could wander round the lake if not for this cache. TFTC
Cold and windy day for caching, but had to get my fix. Nice walk around the lake. Thank you for the cache.

An easy find in amongst the mud and water today. I made this one harder than it should have been as it's almost a walk up and grab, but the difficulty led me astray into thinking of other hide means. Alls well that ends well.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks for this geocache find here today, a pleasant day to be out and about for some geocaching entertainment,

Disabled for the duration of the Covid-19 crisis.
I was hoping to able to avoid this step. Although exercise is ok, beaches, playgrounds, parks etc are being closed, and we are being asked to stay home.
The possibility to transmit the virus by surface contact exists, and with so little being known how long viral RNA stays viable on surfaces why take a risk?
At the end of the day, geocaching is a game, it is non essential and we are dealing with a serious Public Health emergency.
As we keep seeing people continuing to search for our caches I feel the only responsible thing to do is disable all our caches to discourage this until the crisis passes.
Thanks.

Being a bit dubious walking through the gate and around the lake ended up in a quick find. Thanks.
Well, that was pretty straight forward wasn’t it?
Go to zero and look down.
How easy was that!
I I was worried I wouldn’t find it.

Looked for ages and didn’t find. Lots of random pices of plactic on the ground and why looked like a small motor of sorts. Is it broken?
This took me a frustratingly long time, but I was very happy to finally lay hands on my fourth in this Star Wars themed series today. The first challenge was navigating to this interesting bit of wilderness, helped the satellite map. Then I spiralled around for quite a while, trying all sorts of things... using the satellite map again I narrowed down the location, but still it eluded me until I was almost crawling on hands and knees through the grass tussocks, trying all approach angles... and then I found it. I was pretty relieved, as it was an afternoon of mixed fortune. TFTC and the fun, Earthbound Chief.
because I have awful bad headache today so went there about 5 mins searched and Found your cache today. Earthbound Chief, thank you so much for placing it.
Not 100% sure it's muggled but lots of broken plastic and general waste here. Maybe muggled?
The GeoKids became fearful of nearby squatters' quarters so our search ended abruptly. With head held low this was not to be the spectacular victory dance to the THEME TUNE I had anticipated. Will return, sans GeoKids.

Out bike riding and we tried this cache 2 years ago without luck. Today the GPS took me to a slightly different spot. I spent about 5 mins there and from previous logs I concluded I need to widen the search. Within a couple of minutes the cache was found. Log signed and back where found.
Thanks for putting this cache out there.

Spent a lot of time here but got there in the end. Not as hard as I was making it out to be but would have been better if I'd worn gloves
So the day started off a bit wet and miserable but by lunchtime the sun was shining, so i thought I'd drive down to see BackPAQer and thought we would go and find some nearby caches. Six out of six caches found today so it was a success.
So walked around to a locked gate, unlocked it and went through to this area where a few people had been walking there dogs, checked the GPS co-ordinates and started searching, we made this one way to hard, after a while we checked the activity log and hunted in all the spikey grass etc... BackPAQer even tried to phone a friend... "This cache you found four years ago where is it ?" That did not help, but just before we were going to give up and log a DNF we found the cache right under our find. So simple yet so hard....
Thanks for the hide and the cache
Log book signed and returned.

Found with legoman9x. There was styrofoam balls everywhere and broken plastic pieces lying around. We looked at the logs and it seemed that the cache is still here despite the surroundings so we kept looking. Took us a while but it was because we were blind. Tftc
Found with Winniethebear. We umm and ahh if it was worth the extra walk to get this cache, but eventually ventured for it slightly because its favourite count. Upon getting to the area, we searched for a while and saw evidence of packing dots and also plastic contraption. It looks like the cache had a more thematic camo. Had to read some logs to find what camo it had. Using google maps satellite helped zero in on the location as that seemed to be right on the money. TFTC.
We contemplated a few reasons for this fenced area but nothing really made sense. It's not a rabbit proof fence cause the gate is holey. If it's a revegetation area there would be signs. Thought maybe an off the leash dog area but again no signs. Anyway it will remain a mystery to us but at least we found the cache.
At first I wasn't sure if I was allowed to enter the area around GZ.
I soon found a gate which was closed but not locked.
I entered and carefully made my way to GZ.
I was about to give up but made one more final look and found the cache.
Grabbed the TB.
I wonder what the fence is for if you can freely enter the area?
I thought it was to keep dogs out of that area - maybe stop them from chasing the birds but I saw two different people take their dogs through......
Thanks for the cache

Some free time this eveing so I did some freestyle caching. That took ages... Thanks to Earthbound Chief for the placement and fun.
I was hoping this wasn't going to be a needle in razor-sharp-grass search. Oh well. In good condition.
Second one found from this series, we did all in one afternoon. Some of the logs reported that it was meant to be inside a box that played music and we found pieces of plastic lying around so it appears like that may have been damaged. This was real hard but then suddenly became very obvious.
Great little hide. My phone GPS was all over the place but got us into the area we needed to be to look for it. Found it pretty quickly.
It’s a nice little area here where we take the dog for a walk and a swim.
Thank you Earthbound Chief

Compass was swinging so hard to pin point. Ended up just looking in the area
Found this with Tassie expat while exploring this nice trail. Thanks for placing the series.
