!!!Yaaaay!! Just the push I needed to come home and visit mum! So it was quickly arranged that I work late during the week, and then leave work at 2.30pm on Friday.
And what great fun it was!! Haven't ridden the rails since I came here for my 7th birthday party! (A great choice of venue...
)

We came and we did - ride the rails that is! I made the mistake of asking a lady what her user name was, just to find out she has never heard of geocaching before - imagine what she must have thought of me asking for her username

Great party, thanks for inviting us [^]Woo hoo, thanks everyone who came along - it looked like a fun time was had by all, especially Guwapo and all the other children. Lots of children running around - might have been something to do with the sugar!! The two engines were heavily patronised - I am told the batteries were nearly flat!! A strange mix of geocachers and muggles apparently made for some interesting introductions!! It was nice to do something different as an event. It's a great place for small and big kids together. We will probably do it again next year - although it won't be a surprise for Guwapo - so put it in your diary!!

Great place for an event with the kids. We all rode the train continuously and could have stared at the models all day. Great to catch up with a few faces I haven't seen in a while.

Thank you Guwapo - the 'big' kids enjoyed the train ride as well as watching the boats and smaller trains. Agree it's a great place for a party!

We had a lovely time and it was nice to catch up with a few familiar faces. We enjoyed the train ride and we confess it was us that ate all the garlic bread!!! Happy Birthday Marcello we hope you enjoyed your day.
Possibly three. Probably late if at all due to work, weather and state of the cricket...
The two big kids and the two little kids of the Jamien Clan will hopefully be there!
Woohoo an excuse to leave the firewood splitting event we have on in the morning. One big kid and one half grown kid will attend.
Change of plans. Will be in Wellington for the WE.
