Headed over to SA with Sorceysal, who happened to be free to give me some company, on a planned trip to do the fish series, amongst others, and grab a few more caches in this cache-rich state. It was now day 2 for us, and this was a part of a planned long day grabbing some decent caches. My thanks to ricyn for bringing us here, but no luck in the search today
Mrs Ricyn here. Looks like it's gone missing.
Will have a thorough check today and will replace if needed.

We have spent the day in the Barossa Valley sampling some of the delicious wines, cheeses, etc and staying at an excellent little B&B just up the road from this one, so after a nice meal I headed up the road to grab this neat little cache under the cover of darkness. TFTC
Found at 11:10 AM with XBRmob. Interesting location. Thought we were in the wrong place until BINGO, A View of a Cache!

It felt very weird to do this cache in town but it was lots of fun for the kids caching through Stockwell. TFTC.
Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Camped at Greenock we were planning a leisurely few days before moving on. After the last 2 days and only a handful of smilies we decided to make a more concerted effort to grab some finds today.
It was sooooo cold today the car said it never got above 9degrees! Can assure you it felt a darn sight colder when we had some hard to find caches and were out in it for more than we anticipated.
Some lovely views again today and other than 1 cache all with co-ords that were very accurate.
TFTC and helping us keep our streak alive. and maybe we will meet you at the event on Sunday.

Found this cache while In SA to attend Oz Mega. Travelled today from Karoonda to Berri. Enjoyed the variety of caches along the way and the many novel hides. Thanks for your cache Ricyn
We found your cache today Ricyn, we were travelling from Berri to Nuriootpa on another leg of our South Australian adventure. The weather was perfect for caching and we saw some wonderful countryside along the way. Thanks for the hunt.
South Australian OZ Mega 2014 in Murray Bridge. A Twelve day trip to and from the mega. Plenty of caching along the way and near Murray bridge. A great time with lots of cachers all over the place to make for a very entertaining period.
I joined up with Sol de Lune for the lead up to the Mega and the mega itself. This was the second day exploring the Barossa, with Nurioopta the center of activities. Thanks.

A couple of days out from the SA Mega and Albida and I were on a run around the area grabbing a few caches. No real problems with any of them and the ones we attempted were in good shape. I think we will need another week to make any sort of dent in the numbers around here though......
Thanks for this one......

Having come to Adelaide for a work training day, now it is time to play. Lucky for me Brisal5 is keen for a cache hunt, and getting me closer to 5000 finds.
Sadly this cache does have trackable as listed.

Headed out to A Pub Lunch In The Barossa with firesafe and Honeysucker.
All up, I managed to score 44 smileys and only 2 DNFs except we managed to locus cache both of those on our return visits to GZ
What a fun day, great food, great people (as always) and lots of caches plus some very slippery mud, too
A quick find for us and then off to enjoy more views

Found. A wet cold windy day, what better way to spend it than to go geocaching with the family. We found 26 before the kids starting getting restless. Fun outing had by all. TFTC.
Cheers.

Another quick find while in the area for work today.
No-one in the house today but plenty in the car that drove into the driveway and caught me in the act of retrieving the cache
It is always fun to run into cachers in the wild though [^]
Cheers & TFTC Ricyn's

It had been raining all last night and this morning and was still raining. We were thankful that accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and its contents were in good condition. TFTC Ricyn.
Easily spotted once we checked no one was around watching (except maybe the people inside) SL TNLN TFTC
This cache was found on Day Two of our Four Day Adelaide Caching Tour, with TriBre, Fairybum, Mastamak, KidzJCT and Running as Teams BosNewellgus and Gummy Dales. Team Gummy Dales joined us late last night, and with all teams in attendance we headed out to the Barossa Valley Area.
Today the attack would be on the Fruit Loop, Five Oh and a whole lot of caches in between! I know we drove through the Barossa and we elected to stop for lunch at one of the wine estates but by the time we can to think about lunch it was way passed 2pm and we had run out of wine estates to stop in on! We did eventually make a stop in Mount Pleasant for Dinner at a great Little Pub, and it was Poker night! We did not stay as there was still smiley's to be found....
With the large volume of finds I have written a generic log. I would like to thank the CO's for creating a Great time out and I can assure you fun was had by all. I believe we will be planning another trip to SA....
This was the 58th find of 188 finds for the day in SA, with 1 DNF's by this time of the day.

Found with TriBre, Mastamak, KidzJCT, FairyBum and Gummy Dales while in Adelaide on a four day geocaching excursion from Brisbane.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Thank you to all cache owners on a fantastic bunch of geocaches.
Found with TriBre and our team BosNewellgus, KidzJCT, Fairy Bum and their team Gummy Dales.
We were down from Brisbane for 4 days of geocaching. TriBre and I flew in yesterday morning and got a good head start on the cache finds. KidzJCT and Fairy Bum flew in late last night. It was up early this morning to continue the smiley hunt.
Today we headed up towards the Barossa and ended up completing power trails Five Oh and Fruit Loop and a heap of individual caches.
We had a heap of fun today driving through this area. Great scenery and a chance to check out a lot of small towns My only regret is that we didn’t spend more time here and we didn’t visit one of the many wineries we passed by. We did have a fantastic pub dinner in a small town I didn’t even know the name of.
I hope everyone in SA realise how good they have it here geocaching wise. A geocache almost everywhere you turn. We had a fantastic time while here and no doubt will be back again sometime. A big thank you to all cache owners whose caches we found.
Due to the volume of caches found I have only written a generic log. This should in no way detract from the fun we had in finding each and every cache.

Sent geowife out for the find. Only one problem... too short! Didn't see anyone watching but smiled in the direction of the windows just in case! TNLNSL TFTC Rycin!
We planned a trip out to collect the 50 series and couldn't help grabbing a few more for the afternoon, finishing with 65. We couldn't see anyone viewing us on this lovely autumn afternoon - but was there anyone hiding behind the curtains? TFTC
No-one to view us retrieve the cache today [:o)], but it's easy for anyone to keep an eye on it. Hope it lasts !

Time for another caching adventure. Picked up by Aussie M&M at 0730. [l)] Dropped home just after midnight the next day. The plan: Do some new or missed caches along the wandering heroes, some cache maintainace for CP along the trail and make it to Loxton for Lunch. Pick up a few interesting caches that are SMALL detours and return another way picked up some more caches and make a few SMALL detours.
But here's what actually happened. Did the wandering heroes, did some cache maintainance, made some MEDIUM detours to check out the 4wd of the geofrogmobile, got to Loxton for afternoon tea at the bakery, did some more caches, got to Blanachetown for a pub meal (supper) which took so long to arrive we could have done ten caches while they cooked it, did some more caches and finally got home.
Along the way the usual stuff happened, found some really interesting caches, some not so, there was blood from two, [B)] two fell over, collected 3 travellers, left about a dozen pathtags in the wild, lots of laughter, each team did over 100 caches and now we have the task of the logs.
The only things missing from this adventure; Brisal didn't tear a garment of clothing or dak himself and the constant giggling of Mogni. We missed it.
Don't know if anyone was watching me at night of not. Thanks Ricyn

The two M's decided to spend a morning collecting the remaining Five Oh caches that Mrs M failed to pick up in the old car due to the weather and terrain. Today was quite different with the new car loving the challenge. Having now completed the series we decided to pick up a few more caches on the way home.
Well we really hope that the local store owners know about this cache because they wouldn't stop watching us. Eventually Mr M tried his best stealthy approach and retrieved the cache. TFTC Ricyn.
