Hav 2 agree with last entry....GPS was consistent & as a "1", should v been a qik smiley, but nothing
Had a bit of time up my sleeve before I had to pick up hubby from the airport so went in search of a cache nearby.
After the car GPS sent me to the Tangalooma Ferry terminal wanting me to continue ahead, I realised I was not going to get there that way and found a much better and safer route to the cache. Parked close by and found the cache quickly.
SL then returned to its hide.
This could be a busy road during the daylight hours.

Out and about on free Saturday afternoon, we decided to come and visit this area which we have never been to before. It looks like there is a lot of history around here this and we are enjoying exploring some of the backstreets.
Thanks for heading us this way; without a geocache to find here, we may never have found this hidden area.

Danger level high here, big trucks all around. Easy find though, so the dance of death doesn’t last for long...
We are on the Sunshine coast for a while visiting with our friends who have come in from the USA. This was one of the caches we were able to find. Thankyou J 'N' K for placement of this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area
The nearby Railway Crossing was stuck on red. and the truck drivers said just go through but i was hesitant. apparently it is stuck on? anyway. cache was quickly found in between trucks
Was out and about Australia and have never really visited Pinkenba much in all my years living in Brisbane so I thought I would go and discover this interesting suburb and find some caches along the way . I parked across the road from GZ and walked over. After 5 minutes of searching the cache was soon found . Thanks for the cache J 'N' K . TFTC!!!
Nice quick find by this busy road where lots of tiny ants are holding the log book to ransome.

Initially I was only going to do the old cache but being I. The area I decided to see what else was around - which of course led to smiles being collected. Found this on the ground, but it's una pretty safe location to not be discovered. However I replaced as it should be.

Wednesday. Slow Puncture was (were) out this afternoon on a mission to find a tribute cache that we had worked out, and some other nearby randoms.
Parked near GZ and had a suspicion where the hide would be and we were right! The biggest problem we had was finding our way across the road and back, bad time of day we assume, it was chockers!
This was the 2nd of 4 caches found on today's trip.
Thanks ***J 'N' K***, for showing us this place.

Another quick find on this cold morning. Last one for us. Have been to places we didn't even knew existed. Now time for breakfast somewhere. TFTC.
Out with 1 MinnieMoo today when we pulled up and crossed the road we were really concerned that we may have to get wet and we would abort but luckily we found before we had even come close to getting wet. We also noticed a really foul rotten smell so quickly signed replaced and ran back to the car TFTC
26/3/17, 2:37 pm Find #675
Pulling up RhoBoCacher's car at GZ we crossed the road, and were a little bit worried about the possibility of paddling through stagnant water to get the cache as it was considerably wet around GZ. However we made our find both safely and dry.
Thanks for the cache J 'N' K.

Cache was full of ants, we did our best to get them out, hopefully they stay out! TFTC
Stopped by amid traffic today for my first find in a while, made a quick find. There was a small huddle of ducks in the stream down the street

By the time I got here, the rain was bucketing down. I pulled over to the side of the road only 15m from GZ as large trucks hurtled by. I figured I knew where the cache would be so I jumped out, ran, grabbed the cache and ran back to the car.
Thankfully, the previous finder had removed the ants and the cache was any free. I signed the log and then made another dash to return it.

Found it... Still full of ants! Found some nice ant eggs as well. Tried to rince it out, hopefully that will help!
Decided to visit Kate n Dirk (monarchs dual), and find a few caches today.
This was the first of my stops, and my first find for this overcast and cold...no freezing day.
Pulled up on the side of the road and spotted the cache before i left the warmth of the car. Being a Sunday there were not too many people about. Was able to remove cache, add my name to the log and return to its place, all without being spotted.
The lid on the container is no longer attached but internals were all dry.
Signed and returned. Tftc

Quick drive by. Just awesome. Enjoyed reading the history. Lovely to get out and about exploring unfamiliar teritory whilst waiting for geodaughter to finish a course nearby. TFTC TNLNSL ☺
1774 – On my drive home this evening I needed to find a cache that did not involve a long walk and preferably it was in a place where it wasn’t raining too much that I would get soaked trying to find it. In the lighter than normal traffic that I have been enjoying for the last couple of weeks, I quickly found myself parked next to this one. It was a quick find in the logical spot at 5:58pm. The log was dry and the cache in good condition, unlike some of the roads in the area! I waited for a break in the light traffic, returned the cache and was on my way home again through the rain. Thanks for the cache J’N’K, another one in the series I have found.
With a free morning, I decided to scout about further South from home, and find some caches on both sides (good side and dark side ) of the Brisbane River.
The hint made this a quick grab between traffic. This cache adds to our total of 2036 smilies, thanks J 'N' K for showing us this spot.
Feel free to discover our trackable code TGQNRV

Found it after dropping a friend at airport. lost a wheel cover somewhere along way
Out for a caching play date with barbbowman and bubba89 which had taken us to quite a few different areas around town. After some time caching south of the river, we returned to the bright side and had bit of a play with this little series We found the cache easily and with our names in the log book, we jumped back into the car and headed off to the next cache.
Thank you J 'N' K for having placed the cache for everyone to enjoy

Accompanying DiamonJs and JooJoo57 today while DiamonJs was completing her Caches Hidden Date Challenge. This took us to a variety of locations in and around Brisbane. This was one she needed and was gratefully a quick find. We all need quick finds occasionally so thanks for this cache J 'N' K. [^][^]
I thank you for placing this cache on this cache, I am trying to complete my hidden date challenge today and this is one needed and yep a nice easy find that yes we did replace as found. I have never been to this part of the river before but I do look forward to coming back and having a good look around. TFTC
Out for a day caching with IolantheK. This was a quick park and grab but there were no TB's in there as listed. TFTC!
Bubba89 had been awesome enough to work out a list for me for the 25 D/T challenge so we planned a whole day out with an early start! The 4 of us (Bubba, Barbbowman, Ree of Scattsmadhouse and I) met up before the sun was up and set off for the day.
A quick find for this one and then we were off over the river...

A few weeks ago some fellow cacher friends were talking about doing 25 caches in a day to meet the needs for a challenge for one of the group. Finding an area with 25 unfound caches seemed like the biggest task but the list was soon compiled and the plan was in motion. Today we ( myslef, barbbowman, bubba and wombles and co) were all up and on the road before dawn , eager to find caches and help wombles get her 25 caches.
being from south of the border originally i do enjoy reading about local history whilst caching. This was a nice easy find at the start of what was soon to become a huge day of caching

So this adventure started a few weeks ago with Wombles and Co talking about doing her 25differentD/T challenge. 1/2 of Scattsmadhouse asked to come along for the day as well to pick up some caches. So this morning (early) we started our day, along with mumma (barbbowman).
Happy to say we completed the 25D/T's and were home just as the sun was starting to go down.
This was a nice quick find which made for good feelings to start the day. TFTC

On the way to the Airport, we decided to do a cache before hand as we were ahead of time. Found quickly and on our way. TFTC
On the way to the airport to catch a flight to Singapore. Asked Richmond Lad (the driver) if we could stop for one on the way. This was the lucky cache - fairly quick find and we were on our way! TFTC
Decided to go for a stomp around the old nieghbourhood and this was one of the caches I found.
Thanks for placing this cool little series that keeps me working towards a nearby old cache I'm targeting today. Tftc. Recovered and returned.

A very quick park & grab!
So much traffic passing here today but managed to get the job done without undue attention.
Parked 'on the edge' as we were it was an effort to stay out of the drainage ditch which was full of water! LOL ...
Log signed & returned as found.

Annnnnnnnd for the next one, I was still writing a note for the last one when Tdimdad pulled over. What? Are we there already? He told me to get out and looking, good thing it was another nice easy find as I was very unprepared! Though I found the sign I needed, and there it was! TFTC!

Too easy. Sunday at work so a pick up on the way home. Workmate stopped cause he thought I broke down so I ran him through the ins and outs of caching lol. TFTC
Got the GPS working by the time I got to this one, but didn't really need to use it. Those are some BIG cats. TFTC
Arrived today in Brisbane together with Cats&Dragons from New Zealand to have a day out geocaching in the area before heading to the Mega. Quick find on our way out from the airport area. TFTC
Found as part of a short caching adventure before the official start of the OZ MEGA with Slieschke, Yorkshirekiwi83 & Vistra 0n Thursday 17th April. All logs were signed as "3ST"
We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the drive and the caches that we were presented with (learning along the way some local acronyms SPOR which occasionally we turned in to LPOR )
Thanks for the fun of the run and the sights that we saw including a large Lizard basking in the road (swerved to avoid) alongthe power trail.
So again thank you for the FUN of the hunt

Headed out this way after work today. After finding a cache further down the road, I headed to this one. Parked close by and quickly searched the obvious thing. The cache was quickly in my hands. Log signed and cache returned to its hiding spot
Find #1374 at 16:38. A quick drive-by grab in the pouring rain.
Thanks for the cache, J 'N' K.

1st of 2 finds today at 13:59.
I normally only go geocaching on days of the geocaching calendar that I haven't yet found. I made an exception today as I wanted to get out of the house, despite the weather. So it was lightly raining when I parked my car, crossed the road and found this cache in the obvious spot. Great geocaching logbook!
