----------### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###----------Hi there uglykk,It looks like this cache might need some attention, as one or more seekers have indicated there is some sort of issue. The recent logs may contain more details about what sort of issues are evident. The cache has been [**temporarily disabled**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=235), so as to remove it from search listings and discourage people from visiting this location, until the issues/s can be addressed.**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.#What you need to do:-#You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-- **Check On The Cache** - once checked, place an Owner Maintenance log and then enable the cache.- **Place A Write Note Log** - indicating a date when you expect it will be restored. - **Adopt Out or Archive** - depending on whether you want it kept or for it to disappear.Full details for each of the above choices can be found at [**GEOCACHE MAINTENANCE**]( https://wiki.groundspeak.com/display/GEO/Victoria) on the Regional Policies page. You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Easy this time! I think it moved! Log is full: David and Simone

03-Mar-24
Found straight away thanks to the notes in the description about the exact spot, and the hint. The additional log sheet that an earlier cacher added on 1/1/24 is no longer present and so it was not possible to record the find. TFTC from the UK. Since Ive been here in Australia, Ive been continually amazed and amused by the disparity in the difficulty levels assigned to some caches compared to Europe. This cache is a neat hide, but would probably be a 2.5 at most where I come from, because it is quite easy to search for and collect without attracting attention - unless you have some muggle actively watching your every move, which can be avoided by choosing the right time to visit.

The additional log sheet that an earlier cacher says they added on 1/1/24 is no longer present and the current log is full. Needs attention to replace the log sheet.

On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. SmileDay 27/74, Saturday. Another really hot day so I decided to do some train-hopping Smile and go here and there. Beautiful Bundoora was one of my targets because I wanted to see the RMIT campus over there. I also walked a lot today again. Last cache of today. I already got a DNF from here once, but now I had a hint in my pocket and made a quick find. Smile Thank you for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Im on holiday in Melbourne and super keen to knock out some caches while Im here, the first Ive ever done outside of my home state!Yes!!! Im so glad I persisted in my search for this one! I was at first searching the wrong bench, and with only a few phone-focused and facing away from me muggles around, I decided to fully send my search and crawled completely underneath the bench Found nothing, re-checked the map, aha, its that one over there. Same thing, this ninja doing her ninja thing, and then eureka!!!I think it may have migrated from one side to the other? Great muggle-resistant cache.

On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. SmileDay 16/74, Tuesday. Another long and stressful workday so I needed to get something fun for the evening. Smile I took a long walk and visited four geocaches. Unfortunately, I only found two of them. Sad I did not find this one. Sad Too many muggles to have some privacy to search. Also, I spent too much time for totally wrong places as I did not read the description properly - my bad. Smile I will give it another try some day. Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).

She goes she goes nope can't find it..with 3 sets of eyes and hands searching getting into weird positions while trying to not draw attention we had a few vague ideas of what we were looking for but with the GPS bouncing it was hard to narrow the precise GZ.. one we will have to return for.

13-Jan-24
With a bit of luck, found this very quick. TFTC

Couple of Finnish vanlifers traveling around this beautiful Australia with Matilda the campervan. Stopping here and there to enjoy life without any plans. After getting everything set up and visiting some friends, Mntti1 and I began our travels couple months ago. Few weeks ago we made our way to Melbourne and have enjoyed exploring the city. After having dinner nearby we stopped here. Nice little hide, thanks for the cache!

Great found it. No room left on log

bunadoorian and I have tried to find this cache on numerous times previously. We decided to try today hopeful that New Years day would be quiet. Although there were a couple of dog walkers passing through we were able to have a reasonable look. YAY - I found it. A small logsheet was added. TFTC and for the fun of finding this cache - uglykk.

Grub62 found this cache while I was on the wrong side of the seat. It is really good to be able to finally make this a smiley face after quite a few attempts. We were looking for a slightly different style of cache. Thanks for the entertainment and TFTC. PS Grub62 supplied a new logbook as the old one was full. It is not too secure (the logbook) so the CO may need to check it out.

Direction given worked like magic. Cache was soon in hand. Not any room on the log for new names, though. Well done. Its not often we get to encounter a different cache object.

Cleaned all cobwebs in the process- but couldnt find it now. It annoys me as it has been found this morning. Will return when not hampered by recent eye surgery. Too many muggles to continue

Wanted to grab 2 more caches in my final day in Australia. Took a Lime scooter over, but with so many spots to check, this one didnt turn up On a 10 day trip to Australia, visiting Sydney, Cairns, and Melbourne and getting some caches during the trip. Visiting from Chicago. TFTC!

We have got way behind in our logging and are trying to catch up and get our caching in order.Life has been pretty hectic this year, and a lot of it has gotten in the way of efficient logging of finds. We want to thank all the Cache owners for providing an array of caches for us around our countryside and in our cities. We apologise for the generic logs. We must do this to get through the backlog.Unless otherwise specified, all the caches we found were in good order.Thank you, uglykk, for this Traditional cache.

As this had been found a couple of days ago, I made sure to head in and make the find to get rid of the frown here once and for all. Thanks for this cache.

OzHockeyChick, Team Crackers and myself headed into town to attend an event. As we were early, we had time to look for a couple of caches. OHC and myself have looked for this one too many times to admit to, but I am happy to say that at last we have a smiley, YAY. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find.

25-Oct-23
Headed in to town with Geoturtle37 and Team Crackers to attend RoamingHowies dinner event, and to find a cache or two along the way. Finally back in the area today to have one more look for this devious cache. GT37 and I had been here twice before with no luck, and it was becoming a bit of a nemesis.Thankfully today we can turn that frown upside down. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, uglykk ~~

Sneaky little bugger.. hubby even came to lend a hand and then low and behold it was finally I'm my hand. TFTC

11-Jul-23
Glad I stuck this one out! Really wanted something for my D/T grid today. A muggle was on the phone for a solid 20 minutes, and I had to move the car so I wouldn't get a fine. But once I came back, the muggle was gone and the find was fairly simple. TFTC!

Looked reasonably thoroughly, but no luck: David

In Melbourne for the weekend watching some footy and soccer. This cache was in the vicinity of a nice little cafe where we had brunch with a cute engaged couple.
Thought we would stretch the legs before starting our journey back home.
There was a light drizzle around and the ground was pretty wet. No problems finding gz but finding the cache was another story.
Eventually with some patience (from tbs, not myself) the cache was soon in hand.
Definitely not what I expected which made it even more exciting.
TFTC now time to wash off all the cobwebs

02-Jul-23
Saturday was spent watching sport. Firstly my son's AFL game at Fairpark (they won and he kicked a goal) then we crossed Melbourne to watch jo2022AUS's son play soccer at Cross Keys Reserve (an undermanned GV Suns side lost badly) We had dinner at my favourite Melbourne eating spot Dehli Streets, near Southern Cross Station. We stayed in the Docklands overnight. Sunday was breakfast with my son and his fiancee at Proud Mary Cafe in Collingwood. Then it was time to cache. After a DNF near where we had parked we were determined to make sure we put a smiley face on this one. Well we searched high and low, we were on our knees looking under everything and eventually something was spotted that didn't quite fit in with the surroundings and sure enough it was the cache. Very nice hide. TFTC

02-Jul-23
Checked the cache and still there although a lightboard was on top of the bench so please be mindful of the lightboards thank you and happy caching.

After a nearby DNF I ventured here to try my luck.

Wanted to do this one for a few years.

Just because I used to like the TV show.

Oh dear this could take awhile.

Round and round I went with no luck.

I new it would be one of those you could easily miss.

Then around 15min later I put my hand on it.

Lucky thought I was looking for something else!

Signed and moved on.

TFTC Smile

WOW! After thinking its missing to disabling to finding the cache! Just seconds i saw the reviewer note i decided to check one last time. As i got there a couple stared at me but thats not going to stop me. I used a picture i got from a cacher and well on behold i found it after 3 dnfs you probably think i faked it but nope! I took a picture of my log. TFTC!

I'd almost guarantee this won't have been muggled. I've been wrong before but getting this one to yourself long enough to find it would be a challenge. I got lucky & a bit wet. Rainy day was the only way to do this one and it probably took me close to an hour.

### **OWNER MAINTENANCE REQUESTED PLEASE** ###

----------

Hi there Cache Owner,

This cache has been flagged by Geocaching HQ as a cache that **possibly** needs some attention. You may recall having received an automated email from Geocaching HQ which explained what you needed to do.

Unfortunately, nothing seems to have happened, so the cache is being temporarily disable - see here: [**Geocache Health Score.**](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=713)

**You do need to respond in some way within 14 days,** so others know you are on top of it, as well as indicating exactly what is happening with this placement - please don't let a lack of communication scuttle this listing.

#What should you do now:-#
You have a number of choices so pick the one that applies from this handy list:-

- **Check On The Cache:-** Visit the cache to check, repair, replace or do whatever else is needed, Post an [Owner Maintenance log](http://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=404) indicating what you have done and that the cache is back as it should be. Then [ENABLE your cache](https://support.groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=235 ) and sit back and wait for the logs of thanks and delight to roll in. Smile

- **Place A Write Note Log::-** Reviewers are not mind readers (unfortunately) Surprised, so without a note on the cache page explaining that the site works are on-going, you have been in hospital, the area has been flooded, the cache is in a remote/difficult to access location, or some other reason that has prevented attending to the cache, they can't tell what is going on.
All you need do is to [post a Write Note log](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=234) to the page (within 14 days). **Be sure to indicate the actual date that you expect to have it fixed so that everyone knows you are on top of it.** When a Reviewer next looks at the listing, all will be fine, for a little bit longer. Cool
**If you have a long term unavailability (where you don't have an actual date), please ensure you visit the page and post a note every 4 to 6 weeks, so as to keep everyone up to speed.**

- **Adopt/Archive:-** If you don't plan on fixing it then you could consider passing it on to another geocacher by asking them to [Adopt your cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=54). [^] Alternatively, you need to [Archive the cache](https://www.geocaching.com/help/index.php?pg=kb.chapter&id=38&pgid=56), so it is removed from searches and someone else can have the spot. Don't forget to remove any remnants of your previously enjoyed cache too.

You might wonder what happens if you don't pick one of the above. Well, when the cache is next checked by a Reviewer, if the issue has not been addressed, or there is no acknowledgment as requested above, it will be assumed the cache has been abandoned. [xx(] It would be far better if you decide, so please do something before then.

Please don't send me an email but instead follow the information/advice posted above.

Thanks for your cooperation,

Bunjil

May need CO attention after a string of DNF's

15-Apr-23
its been awhile since someone logged this cache so i decided to check one more time and spent a good 30min being in the rain looking for this cache but same result no dign of the cache but i did see a small container strip that fell down the crack but i dont know if it's the cache or not so im still waiting for CO to check if its still there but for now its still a blue sad face

08-Feb-23
It sure is a hard one. Second or Third DNF now.

Onwards to another cache to find.

07-Feb-23
So i decided to come back here and got a hint from a fellow cacher but i have been searching for 30-45 min and dealing with muggles i couldnt find it

05-Feb-23
Back again for another look, this time with intel, but despite a thorough search, no luck here again today.

18-Dec-22
Idk where it is

15-Dec-22
My mum is in hospital nearby after getting a total hip replacement. After visiting her, I went out with geo teenager to find a few caches around here.

We looked and looked and looked for about 30 mins here. I checked every nook and cranny multiple times. I thought I had an idea of what I might be looking for. In the end I PAF who told me my hunch was right but even after being given some intel, the cache eluded us. Frustrated, we leave this one unfound with a blue frown.

Thank you anyway Team Yarra ?? We'll be back.

09-Dec-22
This is surely a tricky one, found on the second attempt! Plus a hun from a fellow catcher
This is a favourite and never seen one like this

23-Nov-22
Plenty of time to kill & inclement weather so I had GZ to myself in light rain & after a good 30-40 mins I had the unusual cache in my hands. Not too unusual - I’ve seen similar, but no wonder it’s stumped so many. It won’t get muggled any time soon. If you can’t find it keep looking.

I suspect the ‘Dowling’ section of the hint probably predates trees to the right having grown so much. If the sign was there I couldn’t see it. The rest of the clues will get you close enough.

11-Nov-22
Found it on the 5th attempt! Great clues and never seen this type of cache before. Thanks CO!

09-Oct-22
Nope, no luck for me either. A bit muggly, so who knows?

30-Sep-22
Nup. No smiley for me today

14-Sep-22
Quick location scout this morning, can find a potential few places for the hide, but haven't got a large amount of time to check them all.

01-Sep-22
**Enabling cache.**
The CO has not responded to an Email request (21/Jul/2022 ), or checked on the cache as per Geocaching HQ email advice and as expected by the Guidelines.

Technically, the cache has been abandoned , but based on the DR of 3.5 and recent logs, it is a well hiddden cache and most likely will still be in place.

**Whilst the cache is being enabled on this occasion, if there are any further issues with this cache, the Reviewer may not be as accommodating.**

15-Jul-22
Lots of rolling around on the ground. Few people because we were there at midnight, but still didn't help much. Sad
Frustrating, because all the successful finders are really talking up the container.. i wanna see it. ;(

03-Jul-22
Tried very hard but so many people and so much I could with looking under - if that was where I supposed to look. Another time I hope

**Out and about with The Empire**

We searched high. We searched low. We searched under. We searched over.
Too good for us today.
My eyes aren't what they used to be - don't get old Wink

Thanks for bringing me here anyway baluke.

What a great cache! We have lost count of how many times we have been here looking for this cache, but today was very quiet and we finally able to sign this cache! Well played CO!

17-Apr-21
This earns a favourite point from us - nice and quiet spot to contemplate life ... and find a cache of course! Had us searching but when we found it we were very impressed! TFTC

16-Apr-21
We followed the instructions and had a few little gaps in muggle activity but we did not prevail. Lunch time came and there were too many muggles! We’ll be back soon as we are in town for a wedding and staying nearby!

07-Apr-21
Seems like somebody already disassembled the lighting before I got here! No luck but I'm here every couple of weeks so I'll keep trying.

11-Mar-21
Well that took a lot longer than it should have. Right idea, slightly off on the location. Luckily not too many muggles around to interfere with the investigations. Good to tick that one off, thanks for the adventure & TFTC!0

03-Jan-21
Very creative find, had originally picked something else not realising that this was attached to it. Very far from what you’d expect a cache to look like

15-Mar-20
Great hide TFTC

10-Mar-20
Even with the very informative hint, and us triple checking we could tick off all the info from the hint, we had no luck.
We will be back, at some stage.

08-Mar-20
Wowzers, second time back to this cache and turns out I was just looking for something a little bit more obvious. The description helps you marrow in as well. Muggle free today. SL TFTC

23-Feb-20
I sat down in a spot where I had my back to the people sitting on a bench near by.
The GPS in my phone showed I was almost exactly on top of the cache.
A quick search revealed something familiar from other baluke caches.
First to sign the new log.
Thanks for an interesting cache baluke.

23-Feb-20
Log replaced

29-Jan-20
Looked and looked and crawled in between muggles going to work but no luck. Brilliant day. Of tennis yesterday with Ash Barty then Federer winning in enthralling my tight matches. Back to Sydney now so maybe look again another day.

29-Jan-20
Fourth (or fifth?) time lucky...

Being close to where I work this cache has been very much on my radar since moving to Melbourne. I've visited here several times, even sitting in the appropriate spot, but all these visits have been at lunchtime and there has always been muggles - eating lunch opposite, taking a rest from deliveries behind, fixing plumbing leaks to the side. I've been able to have a tentative feel but never a look.

Today I stopped by after work and the coast was joyfully clear. I had the chance to dirty the knees of my work trousers and have a good look, finding the cache quite easily. It is a clever one and deserves a favourite point from me.

TFTC Smile

27-Jan-20
Weirdest looking cache I've ever found.

26-Jan-20
Thank you Team Yarra, that was fun.

20-Jan-20
After missing this one a while ago I had another search today. Foetinstrly no one sitting in the right spot so was able to make a quick grab. Thanks.

30-Nov-19
Arriving at the GZ I kind of figured where it was hidden. Had to wait for some muggles to leave the area and then I could start looking and quickly found the cache. TFTC
