Nice quick find. Cache in great nick. Thanks for the history lesson on the railway, as always Mihi ki a koe, the Seagnoid, mo te keteroki #215
1 June 2024 12:53 TFTC the Seagnoid for placing this cache, number 14385 for me.
Up Palmerston North way today with Flossie110 to collect some geocaches towards my aim of 50 for the month. We parked near here and after a short walk found the cache as per the hint. It was sticking out a bit, so we replaced it so it couldn't be as easily seen. Thanks to the CO for the cache.
I approached this with a bit of trepidation when I read what the cache was hidden in but it wasn't a problem and no bug life to contend with today. Cache in excellent condition.TFTC.
I was aiming to find as many caches on the day as possible and managed 62 plus some ALs. I really enjoyed every single one, and apologies for the generic log. TFTC!!

Out grabbing a few caches with Isis58 before she has to do some work this afternoon. Nice quick find here. Left a TB. Thanks the_Seagnoid

This was the next cache we came to after completing the WoC: Streak Star trail. I recognised the spot immediately from a previous unsuccessful search. Luckily, I had a secret weapon with me today - Paddle Chick who found the cache very quickly. Very pleased to be able to turn that frown upside down today. TFTC # 20,092
A bit of an odd longish weekend that had me up to Wanganui, Palmerston North, and even over to Waipukurau. Not as many caches found as I wanted, and at one point I got the car stuck so bad I thought I was going to have to call for an assist to tow me out.
On my way to an event today, and I never pass up a chance to collect yet another in the multi island, multi city, rail series. All good here.

Thanks to the Seagnoid for placing and maintaining this cache. I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with CO's like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues.
[DGSc-Bulk] tagging to help me generate a list for GC30AD8 - DGSc Challenge.

Found with Flowerydaze while on a visit to Palmerston North to attend an event. TFTC the Seagnoid. All good here nice and dry.
A quick find with Talla64 while on our way to an event in Palmerston North. Thanks for the history and for the cache the Seagnoid. Another one in the series ticked off.
Heart sunk when I read & saw the hint; found cache after a good scrounge… larger than expected and migrated slightly? TFTC the Seagnoid
Out on a damp morning. Had to lurk stealthily until the track was clear, but then a quick find. Cache nice and dry, and well tucked away. Tftc!
Nice little cache very waterproof and well hidden my navigation was going crazy (bug) TFTC!
Out for a walk with emmacbl picking up a few caches on the way. Easily found once we were in the right spot. Cache in great condition. Tftc
An impromptu cache mission with Kelly0.
A nice stroll to get the cache and after a dash across the busy road we realised that we could go under the bridge! Nice to see the walkways in this part of PN

Probably looked extremely sus looking for this one, it was hard maintaining cover on such a busy road, but I got it!
Our first geocache with amelia age 10 and we saw the railway bridge and it was real cool!
forced dad to stop on our road trip so i could get this one and i found a trackable so i will come back when i can to leave something else in there!
Well I'm out walking and come to the end of the walking track. Here's a rubbish bin. And right on top is a camo taped sistema. A geocache no less. Fortunately it has a TB in it so I know which geocache it is. This one. No logbook so I will return it to the CO for replacing. Cheers, Phronimos
With Gap (of Fap and Gap) and family... We planned to leave Palmerston North today, but not before we visited a couple of caches...
This was a definite must visit cache for us. We read the description notes and headed for the cache - a quick find. Thanks the Seagnoid and TFTC.

Visiting Palmerston North for the weekend to see our daughter perform in a circus show - Ithaca. Got up for an early morning cache and cycle ride. What a great shared path along the Pioneer Highway. Cache all fine here. Just along the track found the cutest book library in memory of Jonathan. Well worth a visit. It says. “You are never too old, to wacky, to wild, to pick up a book and read to a child” Dr Seuss. Too true.
Took a little longer than I would have liked after searching the hint area. Widened the search and soon had cache signed and returned
There certainly are a lot of these Manawatu Rail caches. Found another one today just off my RD route, so had to stop and grab it. Seemed a simple p&g, and so it proved.
Loved to read the log by the three intoxicated Lancaster lads who found the cache, signed the log, and even left a signed golf ball. Then the cops turned up, but they at least hid it reasonably well. All good fun, and all good here. TFTC

Great to be able to get out and find this one close to my house as that's the way we're supposed to do things nowadays:) TFTC

Having just come from the Bye Bye 2019 we decided we had better keep caching as we hoped to make our 12,000th find before the end of the day. This would have been a quick find, had we been on the right side to start with - got there in the end. TFTC

# 1723 Cleaning up a few of the straggler caches I never found when I used to live here. Can see why I chose to avoid this one... aunt Aggie isn't my favourite. And sure enough it didnt disappoint. Took a good five mins or so to find and was about to walk away but persevered. Pheww when I found for sure.. In great condition. Left a tb. Cheers the Seagnoid for this and etherlord for over looking.
Stopped by on my way back from an after dinner dot-day drive.
Cache is still in place and ready to be found

I had a reasonably thorough search but couldn't find it. I'll try again in the future.
Maintenance visit by Etherlord.
If it's still there, he couldn't find it...
New container installed. Shiny!
