Quick find, but the cache needs some attention. Container havno lid, anc may not have been where it was supposed to be??
Riding the rail trail with the geo husband and brother & brother in law from Bairnsdale to Bruthen for lunch and back again. I wasn’t planning to look for this cache due to the previous logs but the men folk decided they would have a bit of a look. Maybe it will be given some TLC for the next time we are this way.
Drive along to East Gippsland for my LGA Challenge
Been searched everywhere but no luck for me
DNF for me today.

DNF for me today.
GZ was near the bus stop, so I searched that and then extended the search to nearby stumps and the like, but a DNF!
Cache desperately needs some loving. Reading previous logs I assumed that there was once two containers, now there is only one and the lid is broken on it.
Finally I can change the blue sad face to a yellow Happy smile, back on the 24th June 2015 was last time I spent way to long here looking in the wrong spot, but today was a quick find signed log thanks for the cache
The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
Yep they certainly fly by here! Luckily fitzy made the quick find and we were off for more!
Thanks for the hide, B/dale bandits

14769. Found during a long weekend caching run down through the Bombala / Genoa / Mallacoota / Cann River / Orbost / Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale regions with specimenX.
A long weekend caching plan was hatched with specimenX to head down to Victoria for 4 days of caching and camping. Had a fantastic time driving around enjoying the scenery, camping at various locations, plus the huge number of caches to be found. Day Four was here, and we packed up again. Next find for the day while now heading towards home. Quick find at GZ. Signed the log, returned the cache (which is missing a lid), and we headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches !!

Thanks so much for a chance to stretch our legs as we are flying by from Lakes Entrance to Leongatha today, and needed a break.
Muggle Hubby and I really appreciate that you have placed this cache here for our enjoyment.
Much time was spent clearing away spiderwebs, and meeting the big black spider, before I eventually found the cache container with its missing lid, but the log was dry, so we signed it, and put it back where we found it, but I suspect that wasn't its proper hiding place.

Unfortunately no lid to the container
Found a huge spider in the bus stop
Found the cache in plain view.

They sure do fly by here! Lots of traffic on the road today.
After attending the 2 months to Alexandra Mega event Woz and I decided to drive to Lakes Entrance as neither of us have been here before - what a beautiful area!
Woo hoo, what a weekend.... Adelaide, Ballarat, Bairnsdale, Berwick, Geelong, St Arnaud ...3 events, loads of chats and catch ups with buddies, laughter, silly stories, hugs, kisses, promises and future plans for 1:1 hookups and groups adventures..... you really get to know who your true friends are.
PLUS a couple of big bags of rubbish collected.
I LOVE geocaching and all that it has value added to my day-to-day life!
Thanks so much for the cache B/dale bandits!

A nice quick find on our way over to Geelong after the "2 Months to the Alexandra" event. The cache seems to be missing a lid and is sure to get wet soon.
Decided to grab this one on our bike ride from Bairnsdale to this point and back again. It was quickly found but we are so sorry but we broke the inner container. We were having trouble extracting the log and Mr Beetle tapped it on his palm and it slipped out of his hand and hit the ground. There was some cling wrap laying on the ground nearby so we put it back together and wrapped that around it but it really needs replacing as someone could cut themselves on it. In hindsight we probably should have just put the logsheet in the outer container but we didn't know how that would hold up if it rained.
Feel guilty claiming a find on something we ruined.
Sorry again.

Out riding the rail trail on the Melbourne Cup holiday, very pleasant day and a chance to pick up some caches along the way. Very busy day on the highway and they do indeed fly past here! TFTC
A quick grab by Geomum. Showed Geodad and Geochild how a quick drive by is done!!!. Thanks. Silkyie.
Our 9th find for the day. It was a quick find once I read the hint. First one of these I have seen in person. TFTC
Another simply brilliant cache from Bairnsdale Bandits worth stopping for a potion sorry meant a drink of water TFTC
Another B/dale bandits cache crossed off the list! Found on our slow trek back home after a nice few days away. Nice quick find. SL Thanks!
YAY - found it today with Geodog, Hydro, supervising from the safety of the car - they certainly do"Fly By Here" - not the place for dogs to play. Thanks B/dale bandits for setting this one up. Could the hint be updated as the cache is no longer magnetic? TFTC
We headed out today to find some nearby caches and this was one we found. Thanks for replacing, hint no longer magnetic, may need to update in the listing rather than the log. TFTC
I have replaced this one .....again. So all set to go. . NO LONGER MAGNETIC.
Couldn't find... a bit confused as to what we were actually looking for. Will try again next time!
Took a ride on my bike out to do a bit of cache maintenance. The cache is no longer a micro. Might even be a bit of a surprise in there for the first to find again
Not on the rail trail today, but stopped here and found it with 4maal at 11am, and yes they do "fly by here".
thanks B/dale Bandits

Returning from a quick trip to East Gippsland, I picked up this cache. Thanks for hiding it.
A quick find in a fairly conspicuous spot, the traffic certainly does fly by here. Think the container may have lost it's camo. TFTC
Auf unserer heutigen Strecke zwischen Sale und Orbost diesen Nano schnell gefunden. Logbook is really full, no chance to write on it.TFTC and regards from two swiss cachehunters
Found but not a quick drive by - can never say that about a nano and the container was un openable until a tool was located. Then log is full so signed over another. Definite in need of maintenance - container may need replacement. Tftc
Quick stop on a return trip to eagle point. Container took some effort to open but should be good for the next finder.
This was the last of our rail trail caches today. I didn't even get a chance to look for this one as my 75 year-old father was leaping about and pointing to the cache looking very smug, before I even got off the bike . We both tried to open the little devil but we just couldn't shift the lid. I have a photo of me with the cache if you need extra evidence of our find - happy to send it to you if it's required. Thanks B/dale bandits for the 6 rail trail caches we have found today, all different, with a little bit of challenge and best of all a great way for me to spend some time with my dear old Dad
A day out without the minicachers - couldn't find this one last year but we were only beginners - found it easily although couldn't open it to sign the log
Found this one on our annual pilgrimage to Lakes Bushland Caravan Park but in my 1st year as a cacher so looking forward to more finds and adventures in this area. Need new log. TFTC
We are not they, for we topped and meandered. Found the cache. It had been cross threaded and difficult to open. The log is full. I had to write only our symbols, but no date, on top of another entry.
Found @ 1510
Found with ggkof whilst riding from Bruthen to Bairnsdale. Unable to open cache container, crossthreaded. Needs maint.

Very nice! Got sprung by some muggles bikers! Couldn't sign the log as is was chockers. Tftc
Balked on the way in with a Goanna and a snake. Backed up a bit then started again. Geo wife was onto it quick smart. Log duties completed. TFTC
No luck searched for WAY to long for this, searched bus shelter & trees it came up empty handed. Could co confirm if still there as I will still be around till Sunday and would love to find.
Glad there not that big in real life great spot check out the old rails still in the road.

Had to come back on the way home because muggles had taken over GZ. Creative cache - thanks.
Cars sure fly by but the morning muggles stayed. Loved the creative cache - always love a bit of fun. Thanks.
Wow ! This one had us looking, looking ..... and then we spotted it. Very busy highway and great camo. A fav pt from us. TFTC
We searched between cars passing by and after a few breaks in the traffic Mrs. Jacko found the cool little cache. We managed to squeeze our names onto the log but it is chockers and needs to be replaced.
TFTC.

while cycling with friends in this beautiful country,I manage to do some geocaching, tftc
Found it!!! Our last find for the day. Came by earlier but there were muggles lurking. Had a quick look but ended up with a spider dandling from my leg which was wildly amusing for the geohusband who laughed a little too hard at my "interpretative dance" attempt at getting the thing off! bleah.
Really liked this one!

The average travel time from Sale to Eden was mentioned at dinner with non caching friends last night. Oh you’ll do it easily in four hours! We assured them that would be a minimum of eight for us and we weren’t far out it was close to nine. A favourite from us for this little guy who had us hanging about longer than it should have. It was P-P who made the discovery in a place we had both already 'looked'!
Thanks to B/dale bandits for the hunt.
