Found - Mrs McMike2012 & I live full-time in our caravan travelling around NZ, visiting the places we want to visit & doing the things we want to do and fitting in a bit of Geocaching here & there we had been staying at Twizel & enjoying the nice weather & the fantastic scenery but it was time to move on, with these two caches being on the way to our next destination the area was quite busy today when we visited, but it still turned out to be, more-or-less, a quick and easy find, logbook signed & cache was returned as found were also pleased to add another 'smiley face' to the tally TFTC ... TN:LN:LS this was #6,548 for us!
Cache is all good here nice and dry to signed the log and placed back how we found it tftc
Day 14 of our roadtrip around the south island with Blue Jay. Today we drove from Omarama to Twizel, doing a tour of the Clay Cliffs and picking up caches along the way. TFTC. Toffee Man.
Theyre some machines. We also acknowledge the traditional custodians of New Zealand / Aoteroa, as we geocache throughout their land while on holiday. Thanks for showing us this place, & for placing and maintaining this cache. The is our playground
Nearly home. Parking is interesting. Quick find, quite obvious hint. Swim time.
My lady took one for the team and jumped out in the rain to get this one. Photo is a spoiler but shows container is smaller than described
Clever little hide near some sheepish friends. New log is dry and in a new container. Nice that it was easy as it was raining. Thanks
Found very quick as it was left out in the grass unfortunately the container was open and the log book is soaked.
As this one has gone I cobbled together a temporary replacement to keep the site open. Not my finest cache but pretty waterproof. TFTC
Not a nice spot today. Looks like it has been used as a toilet - yuk! Carefully removed cache and log was too wet to write on. Added a semi-waterproof log sheet so should work for a while.
One of 14 caches located today whilst travelling from Lake Ruataniwha (near Twizel) to Cromwell. This one was a quick find. Great to travel on these wide open spaces! #4815. TFTC.
We were heading to Mt Cook for a wee break and of course were caching throughout the area.
We had an awesome time with some brilliant weather apart from only one day where it didn't play ball. Great to see so many awesome caches throughout the area.
As we were driving we roughly measured the length of this particular irrigation unit and approximated it at 1 KM LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! from end to centre point THATS MASSIVE!
Cache is wet and log book drenched. On the way to Twizel for a cold drink after exploring around lake Ohau.

Hi,note pad is wet.lid was closed on cache so maybe the condensation got to it, not sure I'm no expert. The temperature is high today. Overshot the cache a little bit and had to back up. All was good though plenty of room to reverse and park on long grass ,keeping safe from the flow of traffic. The note pad will need replacing.TFTC
Hi. Tftc. The note pad is wet and will need to be replaced. I'm new to this so not sure what else to do except message you. THANKS.
I wonder what the man made introduction of this amount of water is doing to the natural ecosystem! TFTC Found with Piwaka54.
We are heading to Omarama to start 3 days 4x4 in the morning. Laughed at title and guessed what we were looking for. Took log book out of glove as full of water, shook out wrote carefully and put in its original bag. Thanks for this cache drawp.
Its a rubber glove not a condom. I didn't have a plastic bag and Log is absolutely saturated. Needs tlc
#9417. I am on a South Island road trip with Infoferret over the Easter break. We have travelled here from Christchurch via Hanmer Springs, Lewis Pass, Reefton, Greymouth, Haast Pass, Wanaka, Cromwell, Queenstown and Twizel. The main purpose of the trip is to locate the PWGT geotour caches but I still have some TMGT caches to get. We are also interested in finding Virtual caches and a few earthcaches but are happy to stop for traditional caches if they are on the way and we still have time. Stunning fine weather and scenic views today but its extremely windy.
We are now heading to Omarama and plan to drive down the Waitaki Valley. But stopped here to look for this cache. IF made a quick find of this one. Signed the logbook and replaced the cache where found. Thanks drawp for hiding this cache here. Not quite sure this form of agriculture is sustainable in such a dry landscape. Still they have some big lakes nearby.

Holidaying in the area and with a multitude of caches available what else to do but collect a few ‘Smileys’. Called in to sign off your one today, thanks for placing this one.
First find on our way to Queenstown. Lots of fog so not a lot of muggles on the road. TFTC
Found with StreetWalkerNZ on day 2 of our geocaching trip down south. Today we are travelling from Twizel to Te Anau, the day started with clear blue skies (but rather chilly) and ended in rain as we neared our destination.
This was the first cache of the day. Green is not a colour one associates with this part of NZ but I suppose it's the price of progress. A quick find to get us on the board. TFTC.

#18786. We knew the type of place we'd be stopping from the cache name. There had been a light frost overnight, so we were pleased to make a quick find. TFTC.
After starting our honeymoon in Queenstown a couple of days ago, today's challenge was relocating up to Tekapo for the second half of our trip.Found with Loz47

After driving past a few caches (apparently if we stop for them all we would never get to where we're going...!) I decided it was about time for another stop, and this guy caught my eye. Luckily it was a nice quick find, and log sign and back into the car to continue the journey. Thanks for the hide

I found this cache as a member of the team LaMaLaMa (now: Mr_Lama).
Since the team unfortunately split up, I am re-logging with my new account Lærry.
I hope you will understand.
Furthermore I thank you for hiding the many great caches!
Of course I will leave a favo to each cache where the original account did it. If I forget a cache, you are welcome to write to me.
Best wishes, Lærry

Simple PnG and easy find. All good. TFTC drawp.
Second full day of a 10 day road trip for RG1972 and I to get to Te Anau, attempt a half marathon, and get safely back to Nelson/Marlborough. Today was Chch to Wanaka, so we hand picked a few park and grabs in between food and shopping stops. 20 plus for the day and all in good shape. Thanks all COs and sorry for the cut and paste bit.

This was our first geocache back after lockdown. Now that we are in level 2 and again permitted to go geocaching, we set out to find a few. We have driven past this one many times, but as the traffic is still lighter than it used to be, it was a good time to stop and hunt. Thanks for placing this.
Personally I think the big pivot irrigators are an abomination in this environment. Thanks for the park and grab anyway. Thanks to all cache owners for taking the time to place and maintain your caches. Team Broadbent (signed TB on micros). Find # 2351
Together with TEMBO! I had a really interesting geocaching-trip today. We could find some geocaches, met some locals and had a great talk to them.
Concerning this geocache I want to say thanks because we had much fun in searching and finding this geocache! The cache made our trip even more interesting!
