Quick find! Tftc
My favourite pick up line is: 'So, what are you giving up for lent? I hope you didn't give up on me.'

11-Mar-16
Even though the cache has been archived it was still worth the effort to inspect it.

07-Mar-16
As this cache is clearly on private property and no evidence of permission for it to be there has been shown the cache is archived.

Not much room to pull over but Pagan threw Loki out and headed for a safer spot. GPS had me 17m away at GZ. Coords that worked for me today were S35 07.301 E149 02.866. Again can't say we agree with the d/t rating. Also, the cache is located on private property. Thanks InnocentApple Big Grin

A great day out caching with the Geoson The storms were threatening but we were determined to get some caches done before it broke. This is a nice hide and a great start for the day Thanks InnocentApple for the cache. TNLN SL There was a lot of wedding traffic along this road today, poor souls!! They have no idea what they are in for!! LOL.

30-Jan-16
Found with the WEEO on a great caching day. Happily the WEEO went to this one as there was a bit of water around. TFTC

23-Jan-16
Nice easy reach and find. Seems to be a busy road today. TFTC InnocentApple.

Being happily married for over 46 years, I have long since lost the art of dreaming up pickup lines, but the ONE that worked with me was "Can you sing?" "Yes." "Then come and sing with me". We've been a duet ever since.

Oh, and the cache was a fun find. I was very dubious about the long grass, but in the darkness I spotted a geotrail. Wow!

Found at 11:56pm on 29th December, 2015. TFTC.

23-Dec-15
A two day trip to Canberra to pick up a few caches and to attend an event.
With a good variety of cache hides, we were kept busy.

Cache was found quickly, and in good condition. Signed the log, and replaced.
Many thanks for placing this cache, InnocentApple, for us and others to find.

16-Dec-15
We stopped for this one on our drive today from Melbourne to Canberra. It was great to be able to break up the trip with a little bit of caching. We enjoyed reading all the logs -a good laugh, and added our own.

Thanks for placing the cache

#1264 10 of 10 today.

I was meeting a friend for lunch at Murrumbateman today so I spent the last afternoon of my holidays gathering a few caches in and around the area.

A tight spot to pull over.

Thanks for the cache E.M & Ena.

31-Aug-15
Another quick easy find after leaving the van on dmr site and taking a short walk TFTC Smile

23-Aug-15
We attempted this about 6 weeks ago but there was way too much traffic to stop safely. Decided to have another crack today. Pulled over as far as we could and it was an easy find with JetFuselage (indeed, the container was visible from the road). Not sure why this is a D3 though, perhaps because of the lack of parking nearby??!! As we were partially blocking the road, we merely signed the log and covered so it wasn't visible from the road. No trackables seen in this cache.

As I needed to pick up my kids from a camp at Warrumbui, I took the opportunity for a Sunday drive to explore the area from Canberra to Yass. This was the eighteenth and last find of the day, the third on the way back to Canberra after picking the boys up. Quickly found. TFTC.

My grandad and I found this nice cache while on our way back to Canberra. There was a fantastic full moon rising in the east when we were travelling. A car pulled up beside us when we parked near GZ and they asked us if we were okay. It did look like our car had become bogged in the long grass! Razz I made the quick find in the darkness and we soon headed back onto the main road. TFTC!

This is the thirtieth of 32 caches we found, as we made our way, around an anti- clockwise circuit from Gungahlin, through Murrumbateman into Yass and back to North Canberra. We encountered a variety of hides marking significant locations, including a number of guards with foreign sounding names, some military and memorial sites, birds, dogs, racing car drivers and of course quite a few C2Y caches, marking our route.

[u]Feedback to CO[/u]: Not sure why this cache has a DR of 3 and a TR of 3 - a bit high for this type of cache.

Our thanks to E.M & Ena for bringing us here.

This is cool idea
My fav one I have heard it " what where you doing before you came here tonight "
Thanks e.m & ena

This road was surprisingly busy. Luckily there is a small area to pull off the road up ahead as I would have annoyed the hoards needing to use this road at this particular time on this particular day. Thanks for the cache. I left the line from Joe from Friends.

20-Feb-15
Found the cache, and didn't step on a 'biting stick' in the process. Yay! Added my favorite pickup line (used on the geowife all the time) of 'hey, how you doin'?' - with acknowledgement to Joey Tribiani from Friends. TFTC

04-Feb-15
Found by Mary & David at 1345. Gum trees, waist-high grass, old fence posts, and glorious rolling hills. A nice big container too.
How about: "Would you like to come in to see my new cache containers?" Our thanks to E.M & Ena.

26-Jan-15
After a big weekend of caching around Tumut, it was time to head back to Canberra and find just a few more Wink

Sad to see there aren't too many people adding their favourite pick-up line which is the sole purpose of this cache, so added a funny one for myself for the next finders/owner to read! thanks for this cache, love finding one of this size as their not as common

02-Jan-15
Out spending a couple of days with my eldest daughter finding caches in the Yass/Bookham/Cootamundra regions. On the final stretch on the way home. A quick find. Thanks E.M.

Last day of our Christmas caching blitz of Wagga and Yass. Good to be able to grab a few more on the run home. Tftc
It's been a long time since we've used a pick up line, but we had no trouble remembering the line that geo D used to I pick up geo G so it got put in the book. Lol

[red]My humble apologies for the late log...[/red]

After living away from home for 6 months, I have managed to find all my caching associated paperwork / notes & photo's so I can (finally) log all my finds...

My sincerest thanks to all the cache owners for their hides & all the effort gone into them & I'm sorry for the generic log... I have seen many beautiful area's that I would not of seen or experience if not for your hides...
Thanks for bringing me here and for the cache... Big Grin Found this whilst House Sitting job around Canberra... A lovely part of Australia... Smile On the way back to Queanbeyan after completing the 'Endangered Species' PT... Cool A long hot day...

Found this morning while wending my way down the thin black line heading down South through Goulburn, Yass and Canberra with the aim to pick up a few caches along the way. Thanks to all involved for the adventure

[green]A hectic Thursday and just as I was packing up to leave work [blue]sumbloke[green] wandered by and suggested a northerly run - the C2Y series had just been published... [^] Righto, we packed our supplies and joined the throngs leaving Tuggeranong, linking up with the Barton Highway... sure was busy out there! We knocked off the first two in the series and came to the realisation we'd been beaten to first place, so turned around to head back to town. We noticed a heap of other caches along the highway on our way out, so only fair we stopped by on the return trip Big Grin At GZ [blue]sumbloke[green] retrieved the cache and entred his favourite pick-up line into the log before grabbing a few trackables. Our third smilie for the afternoon Smile [blue]Thanks for the cache Earth_Mofo

#324. 38 days in a row.

Noticing that some of the C2Y series was currently unfound, Gumby Maca and I decided to go attempt to be first to find them. We got there and found that team.wallace had beaten us to the punch even though they had not logged the finds online. After the two closest, we abandoned our attempt and grabbed a few others in the area. This cache was closest to the second of those other caches, so we went for it first. Not sure the D/T ratings accurately reflect the difficulty and terrain...

Picked up the three trackables.

It has been a long time since I was thinking of pick-up lines, but I came up with a lame one that seemed to work for the occasion - "I didn't cache your name...?" Found with muggle mum on the way back from an Open Garden...well she stayed in the car and read while I did the finding. Smile. TFTC

31-Aug-14
What's a nice cache like this doing in such a place?
Found while taking a LONG detour home after a weekend of caving.
Couldn't think of any pick-up lines while signing the log. I was too exhausted!
Thanks for the cache.

30-Aug-14
What a lovely big cache, unfortunately no TB in it though, however I left Trumpey Smurf there who wants to find his way to Canada, hopefully his journey without being muggled

Wouldn't you know it? The weather is nowhere near as nice as it was during the week. Oh well, it's not raining. There's a bit of sun occasionally, and a very crisp, lazy wind. (Lazy? t's not bothering to go around me ...) I've done my washing (three loads), prepared my GPS, shopped for some food, and now the GeoSchnauzers and I are going caching. We'll head to the northside, and do some caches just outside the city.

No 12 of 14. Good spot for a cache!! Thanks!! This was a quick park and grab, given it is starting to head towards night time.

04-Aug-14
Found it!!

21-Jul-14
Quick find. Given Rik Mayall passed away recently I will quote him from Blackadder: "Am I just happy to see you or is that a CANOE in my pocket?!" Smile TFTC!

19-Jul-14
Went for a day trip out to Hall and the surrounds and decided to pick up a couple of caches. Have to say that I was surprised at the size of this cache, and had I realised ahead of time how large it would be, would have brought some trackables to drop off.

TFTC.

05-Jul-14
Our first geocache find!!

11-Jun-14
I decided to head towards Yass collecting all the caches I could in one afternoon. This was the first. Thanks Earth Mofo

25-Apr-14
The Police went past as I retreated from the cache. Their inspirational thought was "RBT anywhere anytime". TFTC

21-Apr-14
687 [401] Country folk are so kind. Someone pulled over just as I approached GZ and asked if I needed a lift anywhere. Wrote in the log a pick-up line that hooked the big one. Tks again Earth Mofo!

19-Apr-14
Perfect day to be out of town. ta.

Waded through the grass and spotted the cache from a mile away! Not about star rating... TFTC!

28-Jan-14
5th of 13 I found today. Pick up lines too long ago for me to remember any. How exciting to be the first to sign a blank log - yes I know lots have had their logs muggled - sorry about that Earth Mofo but after my drop and roll to get to the cache I felt rather smug.Smile Soon wiped my smile off my face when I had almost completed the drop and roll on my return only to discover I had muggled the biro and had to go back. Sad Eventually reached the car and worse still had no keys [:(!] - back for another drop and roll but luckily found them as I went down on my knees [^]- thank you up there even tho I was not actually in that position. Getting far too old for this type of behavior! TNLN SL TFTH Earth Mofo You get a fav from me for making me work so hard.

26-Jan-14
Sorry to hear that the log book has been tampered with. It was certainly intact when I signed my visit and left pick up line (FurfacesLL & Rapidlywild can confirm). Sounds like this one has been muggled Sad

25-Jan-14
Checked in the cache here - the logbook has been tampered, there is no records of geocachers logging and leaving pick up lines recorded at all. Someone has ripped the pages off. PLEASE DO NOT TAMPER IT, just log in & leave favourite pick up lines if you wish. Please report to me if the logbook has been tampered with again. Thank you. Leaving a TB. Happy caching!

11-Jan-14
A warm, sunny Saturday meant a good geomission was in order Big Grin. So that meant the geosquad consisting of myself, Rapidlywild and both of the FurfacesLL were assembled to head off for a great days caching around Yass Smile.

After a big day's caching around Yass, we decided to swing by this one. The FurfacesLL ladies and Rapidlywild had already found this one, so it was all about me here Big Grin. Jumped out of the geomobile and had the sizable cache in hand in seconds Smile Signed log and left a bit of a naughty (but not too naughty!) pick up line in the log book that I heard once LOL Big Grin

Tanks for the hide, Earth Mofo (Formerly Explorer Clarke)Smile

08-Jan-14
Found on a caching day trip to Yass. Nice quiet spot off the highway. Good to find a 'biggie'. Thks Earth Mofo

30-Dec-13
Found on our 2013 Geelong Christmas trip. My pick-up line...sorry, like other cachers, don't use any. A quick drive to the left of the highway. Parked as close as we could, then jumped through the long grass and onto the fallen log, so I could easily get down into clear lands, for a nice retrieval. Nice little hide. A bit harder to replace, but it's ok. TNLNSL. TFTC Earth_Mofo (or previously known as, Explorer Clarke)!

15-Dec-13
Lots of flies so didn't stick around to read pickup lines

15-Dec-13
A pickup line? Never used one ... :-; tftc

07-Dec-13
A great day out with SecretSquirrel-BJC and Mr Roo. A stack of caches around Yass, excellent weather, some top hides, and really good company made the day most memorable. Thanks to all for the caches and the interesting places to visit.

07-Dec-13
Picked up on the way to Melbourne ! TFTC xxk

24-Nov-13
Found @ 3:47pm after a weekend in Wagga Wagga for the women's cricket series at Robertson Oval

This is definitely NOT a terrain 3, difficulty 3 as it was hidden in the obvious spot and was easily accessible. A good size container although I didn't have any swaps.

Thanks ExplorerClarke

20-Nov-13
Enjoyed a short lunch break here and of course collected a few caches. This was a quick find with container and contents in good order. Thanks for this cache ExplorerClarke

31-Oct-13
I found this on 13/10 ... on my way home from a weekend quilt retreat Smile
... noticed there was a cache right near where the retreat was, so I decided to find it, and a few others, on my way home (sort of - just a few slight detours) ... did my "homework" B4 the quilt retreat and ended up with a list of 8 caches ... and I went looking for, and found, them all ... got the last one just as the pouring rain started - lol
This was the last of the 8 ... there are a few others between here and home, but I figured they were close enough to drive (or even ride my bike) out to some other time (or I could look them up on web browser on my phone if I was on a roll Smile and as I got close, the rain arrived, and it was time I was headed home ... so was quite good timing for this to be my last for this particular foray ... lol
There was a muggle parked fairly close as I got close ... But by the time I drove past, turned around, and parked, he had done whatever he had stopped for, and drove off ... Leaving me to dash across the road in the rain and grab the cache ... and return to the car to sign the log, write a couple of pick up lines, and take out a marble and a smiley star and put in a yo yo, a ?fox (or some similar animal - one of those that looks a bit too human to be sure what it was meant to be - lol) and a comb (u gotta have nice neat hair if u want to make a successful pick up Smile
TFTC ... I enjoyed the scenery ... even took some photos, in the rain (luckily it was not too heavy)
... have been along this road a few times ... As a passenger on the back of various motorbikes, and by car ... I even went to an engagement party at some farm out here - someone I know used to live there ... and he used to ride his bicycle in to work, in Belconnen!

30-Oct-13
Keeps it interesting!! 3rd cache for the day..Tnln tftc

13-Oct-13
Bit hard trying to think of something like a pick up line with three nutty kids jumping all over me and she who must be obeyed. Will try harder next time. Plus it's been ages!
