I have finally got around to replacing this cache. Different spot now as the old tree has fallen over. Looks like the hard to read plaque has been replaced (not my doing!)
A big day in the Highlands caching today. With so many new caches popping up, there was a plethora of caches to choose from. Taking advantage of the longer daylight hours and many solved puzzles, I was able to find some good numbers.
Another quick find while I was in the highlands
Thanks to the CO's for placing the caches I found today.

Out for a bit of a drive and decided to find a quick cache before I had to head home. Nice and easy, pretty quiet on this road this time of night so no dramas with parking. TFTC.
Heading to Wollongong for the weekend I took the scenic route in. To stop at places like this.
Thanks for pointing this plaque out, Pacmania - it was a quick easy find with the hint.

Today was a great day out with awesome friends and some great caches. Tankengine, Joolay, Kittykatch and I planned a day of caching up north from home in a few of the smaller towns. We started at 8:30am and were home by 7:30pm. We had so much fun finding caches, seeing the sights, laughing and exploring. Thanks guys for a great day out and lots of laughs.
**THE CACHE** We parked across the road and walked back a little to GZ. The cache was found straight forward in a logical place and this gave us plenty of time to check out the plaque. Tftc Pacmania!!!

Found with Kittykatch, Tankengine and DTY73 venturing up this way to pick up caches in the area. Beautiful day to be out and about and probably the last good weather for awhile. TFTC
Slowly making our way north again after the Clear Waters Mega in Queanbeyan.
Camped at the local showground so we thought we'd find as many as we could around Moss Vale and Berrima. There's some great trails to be found and hopefully we can turn them in to smilies.
Thanks for placing this cache Pacmania . We visited this cache at 12:39 p.m..

No boggings happened here today
So I got away with a quick cache find where bullocks used to linger

Camped at The showground for a few days. Out today to do some that have gone down since we were here last. Sixty four for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
I can see how this place was a bog all those years ago as not much has changed.

Today in Canberra, the weather was a lovely 33 degrees, with up to 90kmph winds and thunderstorms. There was no way that I was staying indoors all day on my only day off. I checked the local towns to see what the weather was going to be like there. Wagga Wagga was much of the same and Batemans Bay was worse. It was then that I decided to head north to Moss Vale, NSW. They were going to have perfect geocaching weather all day long. I talked to Smittengranny and she was keen to come along to boost her geocache numbers.
Smittengranny and I set of from Canberra at 0700 towards Moss Vale, NSW. Our plan was to cache in Moss Vale, Sutton Forrest, Manchester Square, Werai, Exeter, Burradoo, Berrima, New Berrima, and Collector areas of NSW. The mission was to find 100 Cache finds for the day. The drive to Moss Vale was fast and the talk was about everything to do with geocaching.
We arrived in Berrima after I missed the turn off to Moss Vale while playing with the GPS. We grabbed a quick breakfast of Ham and Cheese Toasties from this small little bakery on the side of the road before heading to the first of many caches for the day. We did the Gingenbullen Mountain Trails, Lackey Road and the Footprints on Green Hills Geocache Power Trails to start the day off with before moving to cleaning up the remaining geocaches that we did not have.
We soon found out that 99% of the geocache series around the Moss Vale area are quick Tic Tac container throw downs under a rock. That’s ok I guess because we were after quantity not quality. Parking was easy at all the geocaches so I was pleased about this fact. Some of the series in other areas has been very dangerous.
We found our 100 caches for the day and this cache was one of the finds. We only had two Did Not Finds for the day. One DNF was because the local hoons decided to park right next to where we were looking for the cache and the other DNF was because we could not find it. I also dropped a replacement cache for the CO of a cache along Lake George as it was missing. I messaged the CO of this cache and let them know. We arrived back in Canberra at about 2100 and grabbed a few more local geocaches to push the daily finds to 100.
Thanks for placing the series. Most were in good condition with the logbooks about half full in every cache. I look forward to seeing if the series around Moss Vale are extended or new series are created. They are a huge help when it comes to boosting your cache finds plus the drive is so nice around this area of NSW.

What a wonderful day I had thanks to Darkside Dan. Another 100+ day mostly in the Moss Vale area as I continue on my quest to make Parkville Event my 6000 milestone. Less than 90 to go now.
All caches attempted were found and now carry our names though most were signed as DSD and SG.
Thanks to all the COs involved for making this sort of day possible.

We had driven past this cache last year and couldn't find a safe spot to park. Today, we had parked on Oldbury road and had cycled that PT. This cache was only 2.7km away, so Dan cycled to it, whilst Sue boiled the billy for a cuppa. TFTC

Too many days of just one or two finds lately. Getting itchy caching erm, fingers?
So while the Geowife is busy supervising HSC I decided to head south where a lot more power trails have appeared.
Made a start on one before the creek got in the way, and then picked up a whole lot more in the area.
Finished with twenty three finds. That'll round up my find count. In retrospect though, 28 finds would have made a more interesting total.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Yep, parking here is difficult. There are times it's an advantage not to have a large car. MAde my way to GZ. The iPhone wanted me one way from the plaque but my cache instincts suggested the other.
Soon spotted some likely camo and made the find.
Signed, replaced and away.
Interesting story.

Found while out on the tracks with *Throsbyonchurch* and *Little Kitten* checking on a couple of caches. Thanks for the cache hide. I'm all logged and official now. Cache in good condition.
I've been looking for information on this event but cannot seem to find anything.... mystery.

Pacmania! Always cool to find a cache from a Canberran cacher outside the ACT!
Thanks for showing off Bogs Hollow and giving this plaque a cache, a good place to stop and have a look! Ahh yes a classic Pacmania styled container too, I remember seeing these before!
Thanks

**The Day:**
Day 1 of an extended weekend caching trip, and a family member's 50th up in Sydney!
Started off from Canberra at 7am and reached my accomodation in Moss Vale at 6pm. Then cached for another hour between 7-8pm! Today consisted of a few short stops to grab new + missed caches on the way to the Southern Highlands region, and then a big sweep of country roads and towns, picking up every cache I could and using some specific caches to guide me around. Visited some excellent locations today and also found some very creative caches! Found a total of 78 caches for the day!
Thanks to all the CO's! See individual log about each cache above ^^

OCW marj01. Todays plan was to visit the Moss Vale area and complete the Yarrawa Road Trail and the Forgotten Australian series, then grab any other caches we could on the return journey back to Sydney. This slippery little sucker was found without much effort. Thanks for placing this cache.
Some more caching this morning around the Southern Highlands was on the program. The selected caches on the list were all easily found and we were able to work through them quite quickly. Logs were signed, all containers were replaced as they had been found and it was then time to go on our way. Thank you to Pacmania for showing us this bit of local history.
Out caching with Mrs Aries to grab a few local caches while staying in Moss Vale.
As reported very tricky parking and being aware of traffic. An interesting piece of history here.
We did the signing and rehid. Great hide. TFTC Pacmania.

After a lovely family filled Christmas my bf, Genghicat, and I are slowly making our way home to Canberra. Thanks to a heat wave we decided the coastal route was wise.
I'm glad you have photographed the plaque. The writing has fated to almost illegible. The cache however is still in good condition. Was a quick stop and grab.

Doesn't appear to be there? Hard spot to get to with kids but interesting nonetheless. Watch out for speeding cars.
H ad a good look where the hint suggested it should be, but couldn't see anything. Perhaps I was looking in the wrong spot? Interesting place anyway.
Called in on the hunch that the log might be near full - and I was right!

We could hardly read the inscription, but were wondering if Arch lived after the incident and if he didn't how did they know what happened? The horse must have talked
This guy must have been totally pissed - tell me - is that right?
Thanks Pacmania.

Quick grab on my way to a scrabble tournament in Bundanoon. Love these very local history caches. Tftc
Drove past then came back on the side of the cache. Managed a careful park close to the hide. Luckily it was a quiet time here with only a couple of cars past. What an interesting monument? Without geocaching, I would never have known this existed. Local knowledge at work.

A weekend away was hatched with Rapidlywild to head down to the Wollongong area to collect a few smileys. After getting an early mark from work we packed the car and headed down the highway and through the meandering hills to the coastline, collecting a few caches along the way. We did the obligatory stop at the Robertson Pie Shop for dinner, arriving just before closing time.
