With the day off I was heading to the airport to pick up the geofamily after they went interstate to visit family so with some time to my self I headed through the southern tablelands to Shellharbour and did a few hours of caching up the coast towards Sydney. Even managed a quick dip in Port Kembla beach. Beautiful day for it. Visited a few of the trackables I had on board today.

Found on way home from day with the geo-kids. Short grass in the area made this a park and grab, but the muggle party nearby and spider cache guardians kept me busy pretending to be something else.

Was grateful for the path in the long grass. It's a lovely block of land his one. Nice quick find and not many spider webs to dodge and was nice to read about the old scout history in the description.
Had to fight through about 5 different spider webs but finally got to the cache! TFTC
Staying at Bulli and doing some caches today. A nice piece of vacant land, in need of a mow at the moment. Took a few moments searching and soon located. Cache seems to be OK and functional. TFTC Hoojar.
Nice quick find but as previous cacher mentioned attachment is getting a bit tight. TFTC
Quick find. Number 69 and 12th for the day. A bit worried about attachment point causing damage...please check TFTC ☺
TFTC,
We had a day cycling from Bulli to Wollongong and return. It's now time to log my finds.
I am working towards my 3000th find and today's effort has reduced my remaining total from 46 to 27.
CIH and Visited trackables.

Back down from the Illawarra escarpment, where I went a little geocaching, then delikatessen shopping, now exhausted enough to head home - but still time for a grab in the swamps, and a subsequent swim in Bellambi beach. Interesting to see, Hoojar having had his scouts at this location. How time must have changed... TFTCM!

An easy find this afternoon. There were a few interesting articles in the tree and on the ground. Signed the log and then made a hasty exit. TFTC!

Still on our way to Scarborough we continued on your cache trail and walked over the undeveloped land
Bright cache found fast

GeoWife1 and I spent the week camping at the Corrimal Tourist Park and of course we spent part of each day caching along the coast line. What a wonderful part of the country this area is, we had a most enjoyable time.
A walk into a now vacant block of land, the well concealed cache was located and log signed.

An easy find for TaurusSix and I. Had to be careful in this area - I came across a rusty old knife.
Having arrived at the Corrimal Beach caravan park today with DiMorgan and husband Bill we got settled and had a cuppa after our taxing trip from the north to the south side of Sydney. Not sure we took the right route. This afternoon we headed off to enjoy the coastal drive and do a few caches. What beautiful scenery. This was one we found. Thanks to Hoojar
After settling into the caravan park we headed out to find a few caches. We wanted to head north to see the cliff bridge as we have seen it so many times on tele & it looks so spectacular.
I don't know if the scouting & guide movements are as active as there were many years ago. Being an old Queens Guide its just my thoughts
This area is nice left as a green open space.
Thanks Hoojar

Felt a bit exposed but soon Cheeky Meggs seen it (but it wasn't at her head height - she's a bit shorter then me)... We're glad they built something here after all the effort to know down a scout hall? I believe they call it 'Progress?'
More night cashing with agent orang3 and red fruit loop, more spiders at this location, they seem almost determined to try and deter us. No matter Black Cobra FTW!
It is good to see progress like this - obviously they needed the land the scout hall was on for urgent council plans, and that is clearly obvious in the way that they have already turned the land into a fantastic public building for everyone to use instead of just the scouts.
Anyway... um .. ah...
ah, what's happening? um, I seem to have been daydreaming. Did I say anything less than realistic?
Anyway, an easy find once I looked at the right height.

After reading recent logs I had thought it would be something else until it was upon me like a slap to the forehead
And another one bites the dust. Thanks for your hard work at putting them all out.
Cache 3, day 3.
I have two new years resolutions...
The other... I have decided 2014 will be the year of the beard...

Quite a tricky one. Once it was found it seemed so obvious, but took a while. TFTC
No trace of the hall here now for sure- I can't remember visiting this one either but may have! A pretty quick find on the way to work this morning. TFTC!
Caching Streak Day - 161. Grabbed this one on my way to work at 5:00am. Had a bit of trouble spotiing with the headtorch but found it in the end.
Another interesting bit of local scouting history. You wouldn't have known there was anything on theis ground.
Thanks Hoojar for this most interesting series and this cache.

Found this one with geodad (who spotted the cache first after I read the hint out to him) while visiting a cousin who lives very close to GZ. Nice easy one to continue the streak, SL TFTC!
Its days like today that doing a streak isn't worth the effort.
Raining, windy and for the short dash from car to cache and back the mini rats and I got soaked.
Luckily we had this one in hand very quickly and the streak continues.
Thanks

Found it with my friends last Tuesday but forgot to log it. Nice cache, blends into its surroundings really well. TFTC!
Glad the CO’s head height is not much different to mine! Calf muscles still started cramping up standing on tippy-toe especially when returning.
Wasn't there a small club house there at the front of the block not so long ago.
Must have been knocked down.

Quick find with snorris. Having completed a fair few caches in the series it makes me sad to realise how many scout groups have closed throughout the years.
Last one for the day and then home quickly! No hall here but a tricky cache!

Another unplanned one because we were going past, What's that another one just up the road. Of coarse there is. I'm only good for these drive byes after this mornings efforts. SL..TFTC
Snorris found this one pretty quick, it was a wind tunnel round the back there. Thanks for the hide.
As I hadn't read the description first, I was perplexed as to where the scout hall was, d'oh! There it was...(the cache that is) thanks.
Quick simple find in a very pleasant part of the world. Stopped for a few minutes and thought about 32 Cubs running around this area, and smiled. TFTC
Sad to see this vacant block which was a scouting venue. Thanks H for the research and the chance for a FTF.
