I had a lovely few days in Rosebud for a mini break, walking, cycling and swimming, while Steve stayed home and went to work. Should have felt guilty, but I didn’t. I had a ball:) He joined me Friday night and we packed up Saturday morning to come home, but not before trying to grab at least one cache while we were here. Continuing on from the last time we were in this area, this one was next in line. Hoping for a quick find as the weather was turning, we spent at least half an hour searching to no avail, and were just about to call it quits, when bingo, spotted this nicely camouflaged cache.
There’re never easy BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear, but they sure are fun and very satisfying. Thanks so much.

This was a relatively straightforward find of a cleverly camoed container...a stunning day to be on the beach. TFTC Boris & Natasha.
Next one on the list and with the geo mobile safely parked we headed off to GZ. Eskies5 headed in first and she quickly came up with the hide. TFTC BorisB&Natasha
I think I was busy taking photos where my gps thought GZ was while Kestal and Eskies5 did all the hard work at actual GZ …..

What a fun find! Visiting a local winery and decided to continue the Bay Trail. TFTC!
Lucky look - bingo there she is! Nice colours enroute. Timely to escape the smoke and fire threats in the NE and catch up with some buddies in Somers and Mt Eliza AND get out on the MTB to explore the trails along the beach since it’s not really swimming beach weather. A great series and so much care and thought has gone into creating lots of fun hides. series On a mission today to collect 50 + and keep the streak alive so TFTC and series.
Down around this area for NYE met up with Team macy wells for a few cheeky catches. This one I found first pretty quickly. Love the camp and enjoy the series. Tftc. You are my 300th cache cheers
Found at 11:29 AM GAFF5 in the company of maccamob.
Gosh - that took ages to locate! Excellent hide though.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha

Found by Mary and David, in company with pprass, at 11:30. The first day on the Bay Trail for both teams. Could have picked better weather though. Only the second day of summer, but there was a cold south-westerly blowing, and rain showers passing through, so we lost a couple of hours in the morning waiting for the worst of the rain to pass. Our thanks to BorisB&Natasha.
Found nice and quickly while wasting a few hours in the area. I’ve wanted to do some along this this trail for a while. Thanks for the well constructed cache!
Our main goal today was to seek out as many of this series of Bay Trail caches as we could. We enjoyed the many varied, interesting and clever caches found along the way and so many thanks to the COs for all the time, work and effort involved in having created the caches, laid them and maintained them. We also had fun making the connections between the song and the cache hides - we had a great day out! It didn’t take too long to home in on and locate this very nicely camouflaged cache. We signed the log book and then replaced as found. Thanks so much for the well crafted cache and greetings from Zimbabwe
It's been nearly five years since we first tried to find this one. Today we decided to make a small detour on our way to the ferry and have a go at rectifying two of our earlier DNFs.
In spite of a child's birthday party going on nearby, we had the search area to ourselves and were able to turn the sad icon into a smilie!
Added a new, bigger logsheet, left the full one in the bottom of the container.
Up ap and away-ay, let's see if we can get the second one also!

No beautiful balloons but a bit of gps wobble. Geodad searched first then had to call in geomum who found this excellent hide. TFTC.
I was down the peninsula today and decided to make a little bit of progress on the Mystery at the Museum challenge. Having got started last week I was up to looking for evidence and a quick filtered search directed me back to a couple in this series that I had previously failed on. After success nearby I headed on to here and again recognised the spot from a previous hunt (if not more than one!). The GPS and my phone didn't seem to agree on the location so I was checking a fairly wide area to start with. Eventually I honed into where it was most likely to be and I was relieved when I my eyes darted in one direction and there was the cache right before me. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache and a great series down here BorisN&Natasha & Nut bear. Good to get back and tick this one off the list.
Out and about with echidna44 and au-fait for the day ticking off some in this wonderful beach location. The weather was not looking to nice but it did not dampened the crew. Having parked a car at one end we are now in for the walk. The best about doing this in the off season and not so good weather is that not many people are around. This one has us here and there and everywhere. Once you get under that coverage it is a bit of guessing. With total encouragement we finally got it in hand. Thanks for the variety and quality of these caches BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear
Out with xambo4u and au.fait, we decided to cache along the foreshore, starting at Safety Beach. A cool day with intermittent rain was not enough to deter us. We wandered everywhere looking for this one, but it kept eluding us. Finally success
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear.
Out for a day in the great company of echidna44 and xambo4u to do a section of the Bay Trail and of course collecting caches along the way with an ambitious list ahead of us. A car shuffle had 14 caches between us and lunch, which had us picnicking in a shower. Following this a further shuffle with another 14 on our list. A lovely walk, and excellence in both the quality of the caches and the company made for a memorable day. We were almost ready to admit defeat here but perseverance paid off in the end TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut Bear

Our GPSs were all over the shop here, so I started checking the obvious objects here but OzHockeyChick had the right idea and I followed her. After I widened my search a little I spotted the well camouflaged hide. Thanks!

Stopped at GZ and surveyedall of the possibilities and turned a little bit to my right.
Nearly headbutted it.
Thank you for placing and maintaining this geocache for us to find BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear.
Added yet another well deserved favourite point for the construction and placement.

This was a much quicker find but I think Rod just got lucky. As he turned something not quite right was noticed close by. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear
Down form Sydney for Xmas. back out on the Bay Trail to tick off a few more. I was prepared for the challenge with this one, got in an ideal position and simply started looking. Only a few minutes and, ah there it is right near me. Could have been very tricky. Phew! TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear #765

Out for a days drive with MuggleWifeDoes and catching up on some long ago DNF's or missed opportunities down on the Mornington Peninsula. And enjoying the sunshine at the same time, what a glorious day
Very tough hide this one, well camouflaged. I had to squat under the bushes and just look and look, eventually I spotted it. Nice one.
**Thanks for placing this cache BorisB&Natasha**

We've recently been on a road trip from Hobart to Adelaide, and are now on our return journey. Today, we're staying in McCrae, not too far from this cache's location.
Having arrived in the afternoon, we found ourselves with a few hours to spare before dinner. Our daughter, having spotted the playground near the GZ while driving past, decreed that that should be our destination for the afternoon. Naturally, we also had to make an attempt on this cache while in the area!
We ended up making two attempts on the cache, with a good long play in the park in between. It wasn't until we made our way a bit deeper into McCrae's seaside jungle that we finally found the deviously concealed cache. Definitely one of the better camouflage jobs we've come across.
Having taken care of the caching formalities, we spent the last of our afternoon basking in the setting sun on the absolutely gorgeous beach.
What a lovely spot!

A few times a year we come down here to see family and almost every time since I discovered geocaching I have attempted to find this cache. Each time I've come back, I've been more experienced, but it still seemed to elude me. That is until now.
Having Easter down here, I finally found it after taking the dog for a walk along the beach. One the return trip, I found it in 2 minutes. My mind was so sure I would not find it, I didn't even have a pen on me.
As such, rushed back to the car with a cheesy grin, grabbed the pen and come back to sign the log. Not sure what I am going to do next visit down here.
Thanks for the cache Boris B, Natasha and Nut bear

Beautiful location, it feels quiet majestic. A perfect setting for gnomes and faeries to hang out. Loved this cache, thank you.
Didnt think i would be able to find it with all the holidaymakers .. however as i got closer to the gz i noticed fewer people and was able to locate the cache .. well constructed .. TFTC
Dam this nemesis cache
Thanks anyway Boris B, Natasha & Nut bear

Having a very wet walk along the waterfront. The only upside is that there are fewer muggles than usual.
Great variety of cache containers kept us on our toes. Wish we had more favourite points to award.

Geohubby spotted this one nice and quickly. Was a little spooky in there so happy we didn't have to hang around for too long. TFTC
We came down to Portsea for the weekend thanks to a hotel voucher we received as a wedding gift earlier in the year. We found this cache on Saturday on our way back to Portsea after our horseriding winery tour in the morning and then a quick lunch at the Red Hill Bakery. TFTC
I never enjoy being the rando lone dude stalking his way through the shrubbery, so I was a bit hesitant to retrieve this cache, especially after walking past a beach goer returning to her car. But I did, and I'm glad because I was rewarded with an excellent cache. Follow the compass needle directly to find.
Found this one yesterday whilst out with the Geoboy. Had to collect my daughter from Rye so the perfect excuse to leave home early and collect a few of the previously missed or DNF's. We managed to collect a handful so greatful for a few more smiley faces. TFTC BorisB&Natasha & Nutbear.
Another variation to my failure here as I had previously DNF'd this one in the original location. Back today at the new spot but no luck. I'm really not very good at this game. Thanks anyway.
We found our first Bay Trail cache today after visiting the nearby Heronswood Gardens and then drove down the road to this cache as we noticed that it had lots of faves. We parked in the closest carpark to the cache and wandered over to GZ. We weren't surprised that this cache has had several DNFs as there were lots of spots to hide a cache and the co-ords on our GPSr jumped around a fair bit due to the dense tree cover. Although we had a bit of an idea what the camo might be we still searched for quite a while without success. We were about to give up when we spotted something slightly out of place and sure enough it was the cache, with much better camo than we expected. [^] We signed the log at 4:55 pm. TNLN. We took a few photos of the nearby colourful beach boxes and then we were up, up and away on our journey home.
Thanks BorisB&Natasha & Nut bear for the cleverly camo'd and well-constructed cache. Now we know why this series got a Vic cache of the year award a few years ago. We'll be back to do a few more caches in this fabulous series when the weather gets warmer.

Second time I've had a look for this one without luck. Prob doesn't help having tired toddlers with you. Will keep trying, I'm intrigued
I wasn't sure what I was getting into with this one, but trusted the GPS and it got me to the right place.
Bay Trail - Up Up And Away was transferred from Nut bear to user BorisB&Natasha
Took a bit of searching but once we realised we'd gone too far past gz, found it quickly. Neat camo
Found it , had a long search for this one and after some time it was found. Tftc
The mantra of the day was to see how many I could find in the time I had. If I didn’t find anything within a couple of minutes looking I gave the search way and moved on. This was one I didn’t spot, so a DNF for me here.
Another dnf for the day. I will be sure to bring my kids back here with the bribe of all the amazing playgrounds and get them to do all these scrub looking caches
This seems to be my new nemesis cache. Third time looking for this cache and still no luck. Spent 30 minutes today while the family was at the park.
Will be back another time.
Thanks anyway for the cache Nut bear & BorisB&Natasha

Just checked the hint and it seems I forgot to update it when the hide was moved. Thanks Happy Chappies for bringing it to my attention.
Spending a couple of days in McCrae with the family and grandparents, taking advantage of the new Eagle chairlift and poking around McCrae and Sorrento. A nice weekend overall.
Took a walk up the beach and along the trail this morning, and after a nearby DNF popped in here for what I hoped would be a quicker find. Well, the terrain didn't have me feeling hopeful, nor the camo indication, nor the amount of vegetation. Begrudgingly I set to it, then regrouped and tried a different approach. Thankfully the cache then blared into view - Well camouflaged, but a pretty easy find if you're in the right location and have your eyes open.
Not sure if the cache match the hint though...

Since moving from New Zealand I have been enjoying the area, exploring and finding caches. I have got a nice streak going and hoping to let it run for as long as possible. This may or may not become easier now that I have found a job but I’m still currently staying with my brother (stinky tom) and his family which includes my nephew (stinky bob).
A big thanks goes out to all the cachers and cache owners without whom this lifestyle would not be possible.
The caches I’ve found in Australia so far have for the most part all been in great condition. Keep up the good work. Everyone likes finding a well maintained cache with a dry logbook.
Thanks Nut bear

Today we explored Cranbourne and surrounds using geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way and this was one of them. Accurate co-ords led to a quick find, a great camo, thanks for bringing us here. Need to come back with bathers next time!! Adding to our favourites.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Sorry for the generic log on this one but my life has been a bit overwhelming lately and I cannot exactly remember the exact details of each and every cache on the trail that I did today, not many but enough. Anyways I spent today rechecking caches that I had found to fill in the clues that I had missed in the previous caches that I had found and adding more clues haha. Anyways thanks for the cache, I am really enjoying the serious, we all appreciate all the effort you go into making these quality caches. Cheers

Now relocated, no bees, no fallen limbs, it was a quick find
